Asking for my Fortune

At the start of every year, people always seem to be asking me whether or not I've made any new years resolutions. Some years I try to, and others I tend not, but then this year I HAVE made one and it's a very loosely set one. It could be interpreted in lots of different ways, and I'm quite happy to keep it open and flexible... I'm going to put more faith in the fortune telling machines than any resolutions though...

Welcome to the Dark Hotel

The darkness is still lingering and I am not ready to kick it out just yet... I mean there will be lots of pretty Autumnness coming I'm sure, because I NEED to let that out before the mania that is Christmas will start... 
I LOVE the darkness, it's helping me feel better about myself and the situations that I am dealing with at the moment and since everything is getting a little too crazy I might take myself away for a while and check myself into somewhere for a rest... 

The Dark Hotel - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - is the perfect place to rest and decompress after the fun of Halloween... I've checked in and left my bags ready to be collected by the porter, and while waiting I've met some of the most wonderful locals and their pets - which happen to come with the Wini Dress from Mug. Time for a little Dark Magic!

I need a little magic after the events of yesterday, and I'm really sorry but I really hope that the driver of the truck who decided to drive fast through a puddle and therefore soaked me for my whole day at work got caught in traffic with a case of explosive butt pee... There is very little chance that the magic I am channelling will be for good... It's like to be some kind of twisted, dark necromancer magic...  

Luckily in Second Life we are still experincing the magical effects of the Midnight Order. This event will be reaching it's halfway peak over the next few days and there will be plenty more chaos to make those that want the dark magic, able to find it...

A Kinky Little Doll

It's Saturday and I've been free today... I finished a book that's been stuck in my mind since I started it, and I think it MAY have influenced the post that I created today... You may have heard it somewhere, but lately I've been reading a LOT of Dark Romances and SMUT, and I LOVE IT - in fact I find getting through a book without it, somewhat hard going now too lol - but the last book I read was a twist on the Nightmare Before Christmas and I'm not sure how I feel about it... 

There is a lot of sex in this book, "Skeleton King" but it brought Rudh very much closer to one of the main characters. Sally, or Sarah as she is called in this version, is not a rag doll made of cloth but is someone more akin to Rudh in that her body is covered in scars. She's been cut up and roughly stitched so that her body looks like that of a dolls... Her body is cut, stitched and patched, but the scarring doesn't bother her... 
Since she's little more than Frank Finkle's sex toy, she gets used a lot, and well... Rudh has never complained about that either. She's a lover of new toys that are very good Halloween treats - two different sets from Krescendo that are perfect seasonal kinkiness - her demons are calling and even the Naughty 8-Ball is ready and all laid out on the Ritual Platform - from Violetility - for the naughty games ahead...

Snowflake Magic

Why is it that snow always feels so magical? It's like the swirling, sparkles of magic that slowly drift away after the magic has been cast... It always seems to make me think of fairies, of fairytale magic and of those stories that cause the imagination to run riot... That's why, snow seems to pull out the inner fairy in  me... 

The Snow Fae that seems to be luring my mind into her dark little dance, to watch whilst she creates the most intricate little sparkles... 
She may be dancing in the snow, but she wears no clothing causing frost bite to rip through her extremeties... All while things get a little Frosty... The snowflakes and ice sparkle in the moonlight, and hopefully the magic will last a little longer...

A Visit to the Nurse for Halloween

This is Halloween, This is Halloween... Aren't you scared? Well that's just fine... I've not been scared on Halloween since I was little, though that may change as I believe I MAY be forced to watch a Horror Movie tonight... I may look like I like all things dark and scary, but in reality I'm a pretty huge wuss LOL.... 
As with every year though, I've had fun playing with multiple different Halloween costumes, some more crazy, others less so, but I LOVE playing dress up and just because tonight is Halloween don't expect that to stop any time soon... I've been all kinds of different monsters, but there has beenone missing, a dark, dangerous and deadly nurse... Welcome to the Asylum, it's time for our treats... 

Nurse Deadheart stalks through the halls of the Asylum ready to hand out some delicious drug treats for the patients locked in their rooms... It keeps them quiet and allows them to forget the monsters that roam the halls during this Hallow Night... 
Dressed in a uniform - from everfaery at Access until November 8th - although she's worn one of her own favourite tops since the uniform had gotten a little bloody - a top from Normandy called Drown in an Occult pattern -  she's on her rounds and has a bag full of needles to share with the patients that she has to silence... Chaos Galaxy Stars adding Heat to the Fire

It's BLOODY hot here in the Netherlands again today...We've had almost all of the seasons in a week, Wednesday there was the BIGGEST Summer storm, it was trecherous to head out of the front door. Then not three days later, we're stuck in a heatwave that feels like someone turned on the oven and left the door open... It's like being stuck in a fire... The demons of Hell must have worked some magic and are giving us a taste of their home life... 

Inside one of the deepest, darkest Demonic Volcanoes - an older but awesome backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - the demons have gathered around one of the most glamorous and more senior demonesses... The reason being that in her hand is one of the most important items in all of the fantasy realms... The chaotic red Galaxy Star - a release from Spells & Charms To Go for the current round of RITUAL that runs until the 12th of the month - one of the six chaos stars that can release extreme amounts of damage in the wrong hands... The red is responsible for this terrible heat, and the more it turns the hotter it gets.

Back Alley Apocalyptic Chic

There is nothing better than putting on an outfit and realizing that it's starting to come together with the mental image in my mind that is makes me super happy... Sometimes working on something to blog can be a little trying, I never know where I will be able to go with an idea, I may start with the smallest of items and then suddenly, as I've mentioned before, the snowball rolls down the hill and I end up creating something that makes me smile... Today the starting point was a spiky baseball bat, and the cutest of stripy skirts... All leading to a healthy dose of Back Alley Apocalypse Chic...

Down the back alley, hiding away from anyone that could be out to cause her harm, she's parked her Scrappy Scooter - from DRD - to give herself and her Rottweiler buddy a chance to have a moment to catch a breath... Rainbows in the Stars

The stars are shining bright tonight, as they twinkle it's in rainbow colours, blues and pinks, yellows and greens... They sparkle and twinkle and glitter in the dark... They have invaded the White Tower - a skybox created for Midnight Order by ChiMia - of the Midnight Order, which is slowly preparing to disappear into the darkness when the doors close on the 20th of the month... The members of the order gathering together inside the towers walls, basking in their last moments to dance in the light... 

Sometimes I like to make dark, macabre and brutal looking pictures, but I LOVE times when I get all pretty and sparkly... 
The sparkling stars were an inspiration for me today, the starsigns forming a 'Starry Halo' - an accessory from LuluB! - and whilst her head is in the clouds, she's sparkling... The lightning in her eyes sending sparks from her that reflect the colours and glitter through the room...

A Little Neon Weirdo

Some people might be thinking it whenever they see my pictures, others may think it whenever they see me wandering around in world, but if you ask any of my friends they are more than likely to agree that it is absolutely true. I am more than willing to admit that I am more than a little weird, I am totally happy to admit that in fact. I'd rather be weird and somewhat silly, as opposed to being boring and stuck in a place without colours and sparkles and randomness... 

In the neon sunlight of a Vapor Sunset - a backdrop from Paparazzi - I've let the little weirdo in me come out to play. I love when the weirdo surfaces and hides from everyone in her day to day life... There ar so many different things that can spark my imagination and make the weirdo appear, one of my favourite ways to find the inner weirdo is to put a crazy outfit together in SL and let my weirdness shine...

The Midnight Order has Arrived...

The Midnight Order has started... The dark and macabre have come rushing into Second Life, and there are lots of evils out there ready to fill your minds with twisted little fantasies... 
We're opening the lid on what really seems like Pandora's Box and as the darkness floods out, it's so pretty... There's steampunk, there's blackness, there's monsters and more... Just wait to see what comes through the crack in the box lid... 

The city hall surrounded by Floating Crystal Sconces - created by CELESTE  for Midnight Order - in which the box was opened has now become the epicenter and command post of the Midnight Order, and the darkeness will slowly be seeping over the world from here... It's not Halloween yet, we still have to wait a few months, but lt the darkness reign... 
A Tyrant's Torch - from Skellybones at Midnight Order - has fallen into the hands of Rudh, and she's become the evil power that will control this chaos... She's demonic, her horns - from UNHOLY ASMODEUS - decorated with crosses but the rest of her outfit a little steampunk perhaps, showing the status of the now darkened city...

Midnight can be FULL of Colours!

I've just been watching the newest Disney movie "Encanto", and I love it... The songs, the colours, and the storyline are all a match-made in Disney Heaven... It's also got me craving colours and vibrancy... So today, I'm all about colour... So much so that I'll going to throw it everywhere, the brighter the better... 

So perhaps all of these colours don't really fit with the Midnight Order of things - I mean Midnight Order is about the dark, gothic and macabre, and well I look like an explosion in the rainbow factory... 
Trying to hide the darker parts of her - like her new tattoo from GERMINAL that show her being one of the "Children of the Dark" - under a brightly, coloured spray of paints, including some luminous firefly green stripe tattoos - from Evil Baby and Ctrl-Z - and the blue pain that fans out like wings as it hits her back...

A Shy New Pet

 During the lockdown, you hear so many people were adopting new pets to give them things to do at home... I have two adorable pets of my own at home - Izzy, my Puppy, and Anna, the cat - so I know how valuable they have been at keeping me sane. Yet, I think back on the time that it took for the babies to settle in and make my home, their home... 
This goes for the adoption of any pet... You never know how long a pet will take to settle in, and it plays a lot on the personality of the animal... If  they are a little shy, it might take them a little longer!

Rudh is not really the kind of person that most people would call shy, but I have to tell you that a lot of it is all fluff and hot air... Behind the screen I am a very shy and self-concious person, I have anxiety and a lack of self confidence, but I've learnt to keep that hidden... Now that I'm married it's a little different, but before Hell I was the kind of submissive Babygirl that was considered a brat until someone got close. 
If I was a little pet, no matter how spoilt I'd been with a room full of some lovely kitty furniture in the form of the Magical Kitten Set - from Krescendo - I would probably be very shy to show off my lingerie - a new set from 1313 Mockingbird Lane called Dark Torment - even if she's been praised as Daddy's Prized Pet...

Do you ever find yourself looking in the mirror, and hating what you see looking back at you? Do you ever think that you'd like to look more like your Second Life Avatar in RL, or is it just your dolly looking back at you?
Normally Rudh is an extension of me, she's my Barbie Doll... I love everything about the way I've let her become, but sometimes I get paranoid, I over-think and I wonder would my life be any different if I was more like the petite little doll I live through in Second Life... It makes a girl wonder, ya know?!

Rudh still get's worried about the way she looks, I love my face, I love my shape... No matter how many people tell me that I need to change things about myself - the other day I was even told my butt wasn't right - but that kind of thing happens so much in RL. I hate that people try to change others when they themselves are not perfect in the eyes of another... 
I'm sorry but you don't tell me how to look... You don't tell me what I'm supposed to do with my avatar, if I want to make myself look different that's up to me.

Playful in Pink

Yesterday was a little bit naughty, well... A LOT naughty, but today I've decided to tone things down just a little bit and even though I'm still being naughty, I'm being very cute with it too... It's a more babygirl side of me... Lots of uber cute and pink and sweetness, but well, since it's me there's a hint of naughty too!

It's mostly the fault of Star Sugar, who after allowing me into their blogger team and therefore opened up their items for blogging, allowed me to take lots of adorably cute but kinda naughty goodies to play with! A Mermaid's Day on the Beach

It's the weekend!!! I finally have some time to myself, and I've just been told some even better news in that I have the weekend off from my SL job - as well as ALL of next week!!! So this means only one thing... A LITTLE MORE RELAXATION TIME FOR ME!!! I'm going to party it up and have some fun for a change! Starting with a trip to The Beach in SL... 

It's the perfect place for me to run around in my adorable, yet sexy, surfer girl style - RealEvil Industries - Sereia Bikini. It's a Gacha set, but the collection includes jewellery and if you're lucky you might get your hands on the RARE Bikini!!!
Now whilst I was running around on the beach enjoying myself, I noticed that people were starting to stare a little... I thought that it was because I looked so fabulous, but actually, and unknown to me, my mermaid scales were starting to appear a little translucently on my skin... It must have been a combination of the salt water and the sand... DAMMIT, no one is supposed to see those! THIS IS WRONG - although aren't they a pretty creation from the store for this month's round of ECLIPSE?! Subtle, and only available to see in the right lighting, these scales can be left white - as is the default on the maitreya body - or tinted. I loved them being white, my mermaid colour tends to change depending on my mood but in white they look translucent like they may or may not even be there... SO GORGEOUS!

Unleashing the Magic of the Eclipse

Curses HellBone LOL... You've gone away for the weekend and left me home alone, I thought it would be great but actually I'm finding myself a little bored lol... Even though the Eurovision is about to start and that usually gives me a giggle! Secretly I'm cursing HellBone for abandoning me, and leaving me here to get bored! 
Sitting on my own, and starting to get mad, I decided to cast one or two little spells and maybe even summon a demon to entertain me... 

Sitting, surrounded by HellBone's stuff to channel my anger and hidden powers... She's going to try to summon that demon to help her get through the lonliness... 
Luckily the ECLIPSE is on her side to help her out a little... That's right, the shopping event that appeals to the lovers of the darkness is up and running again and I'm so excited by some of the goodies this month has brought. Her magical nature becoming very prominent as the magic in the air reveals her true nature all over her skin, the VVITCH Tattoo - from THIS IS WRONG - appearing on her skin as the spell is cast. 
The markings aren't the only ECLIPSE goodies though, oh no... Her spiked heels that are marking the object of her displeasure are a pair of Barbed Stilettos from MONUMENT, and her clawed nails are a necessary part of the "Conjuration" - which are available from the Cerberusxing booth at the Eclipse!
Now before you say anything, just as a side note, I KNOW that these things don't show clearly in the picture but that's why I've been a good girl and added the ads created by the stores to share a little more of these gorgeous creations...

Assisting the Sleep of the Darkness

The end of March has arrived, and even though spring has sprung, it seems to be heading into warmer weather and you know me, I'm not good when it gets HOT. 
Still before the month comes to a close I have just one more dip into the Eclipse... Before the sun is revealed again and the darkness slips into hiding for a few weeks. I'm about to sedate myself and take that long, much needed nap... 

Sometimes you find yourself on the receiving end of items that have been under a little bit of heat. This time I found myself paying close attention to a release from Hotdog for this month's round of Eclipse. The item that I'm referring to is the Hotdog Heroin Syringe. This item has been getting some major backlash on Facebook, and I have to say that love it or hate it, it's definitely getting some notoriety. I myself am not a fan of the idea of supporting Heroin addiction, BUT I will say that in a place like SL where people can do anything they choose to do - providing that it's not hurting someone else and is not something totally horrible like Pedophilia - items like this are just another aspect of a role play world. It happens in RL, and so naturally people may act it out in Second Life. The item is well made, and although I am not keen on the idea of heroin, the needle itself could contain ANYTHING! In my case, right now, I'm going to tell you it's a needle full of a potent sleeping drug, and because it's MY Role Play, then you'd have to just go with that and accept it. No one is forcing it on you, if you don't like it look away, but that's the beauty of toys in an imaginary world. One person says heroin, another says sleeping meds and depending on who is holding the toy at the time the outcome is varied! I'm not a fan of seeing "adult" women sucking pacifiers, so I don't do it, but that's not for me to say it's bad for everyone who does! 
Anyway... Rant over!! OK... On to the rest of this last dip into Eclipse! 
This dark little monster, the one that will be asleep soon thanks to my magical sleeping meds, is decorated in the Moloch Tattoo - of THIS IS WRONG - a design that takes half her face and both arms! She's strapped up, wearing only some tiny Pantsu Codex Panties - from CerberusXing - using straps from Insomnia Angel, and hopefully soon that will be the only insomniac thing about her... 
Sleeping now until the new ECLIPSE, not long but long enough to feel re-energized, awakening just in time for April 13th when the new darkness will start!

Casting a little Eclipse Magic

Time to cast a little magic, there's something amazing coming this way, and I'll tell you as a little hint... " October Never Dies"... There's a little dose of dark, macabre Halloween style magic coming and, as with every month, I'm more than a little excited. My plans for a Grand Adventure will have to wait a while, today I'm going to start raving about the " Eclipse... It's coming!!! 

The little demon in me has been let out to play, to help with the casting of the Eclipse magic... Summoning the dark and building up the excitement for the events that will follow. To be honest, I'm so happy that she's able to come back out, it feels like far too long since I released the little demoness in me! 
She appeared in the magical circle at Pendle Hill - not that you can see much of it, since the magic got a little crazy - but the dark magic slowly started to enter her veins - thanks to this amazing tattoo for the body and face, which comes in both male and female versions, from THIS IS WRONG - all because she was wearing the attire of the mage... Though maybe it was more to do with the Obscuritas Crown - from lassitude & ennui - or the Monstrum Catena Piercing - from CerberusXing - it could have even been the combination of these two things, that caused the magic to be so violent...
