Neon Planting at the Salvage Station!

I had the day off again today, and I won't for a few days in a row now so I've been busy doing a little blogging prep and I'm excited about what has been happening in the blogging world of Rudh today... It's been nice to just turn offmy brain and do something creative, considering the week I have coming LOL...

The Wraiths of a Christmas Spirit

Why did I think that things might get better soon?? I think I jinxed myself and now not only am I having a terrible visit from Mother Nature, I'm also full of cold AGAIN!!! I feel like I am a total grinch right now, maybe Grinch isn't even strong enough... Maybe I'm reaching full on Scrooge level... Bah Humbug... 

I've been feeling so grumpy and there is NOTHING I can do to cheer myself up... Even the book Advent Calendar that my hubby made for me as a main Christmas present this year makes me smile but I soon get grumpy again because of everything else that's going on... 
Maybe I'll slip into the world of a Christmas Carol... Maybe I'll let the darkness in me draw the spirits of Christmasses gone by from the old Gothmas Christmas Tree in the hall - which happens to be a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis for the SL Shop & Hop - and there is maybe some hope that they can save me... These spirits are not the ghosts from the Muppet version, although the last of the three in that film was a bit daunting when I saw it as I was a kid... These Wraith Skulls - a release from Tardfish for the current round of The Men's Department - of Christmas present are looming fast and I'm not sure I'm awake enough to avoid them...

Coffee or Chocolate & Cookies!

It's getting closer and closer to Christmas and all I can say is that the festive spirit comes and goes faster than I can blink at the moment. I'm dealing with some feelings and a little bit of trouble in Real Life but I will let you know more about that soon I'm sure... 
Since I have the day off though, and since I'm feeling a bit crappier than normal today I'm going to take it easy, do a little prep for Christmas and read a good book with a delicious treat or two...  

What do I want to make myself feel better today?! I think that I should try to make some cookies, preparation for Santa's visit... Everyone knows that there should always be cookies left out for Santa. I would offer to leave him some delicious home-made chocolate or a fancy Christmas coffee, but I wonder if Santa wouldn't mind a cold coffee instead... I don't think it will be too hot when he gets here?!

Birdies on the Boardwalk!

They often say things manifest in threes... Good or bad, there is always a possibilty that when you have something bad happen, if a second bad thing occurs you may start being more cautious as you wait for the third thing... At least I do anyway, and I'm really hoping that the same goes for when you're seeing good things happen... I'v had two good things, I hope that it's true and a third thing happens to me soon... 
Today was the second day of seeing good things happen... Let's take a walk on the boardwalk by the beach and I'll tell you all about it... 

The boardwalk seems a little deserted today, though there was definitely a party last night if the mess is anything to go by... Either that or it's the GIANT Gulls that are having a party of their own - they are part of the Don't Feed Gulls Gacha collection by Aardvark at the Arcade until August 17th - but I guess that was bound to happen with so much food waste left around the place... They look like a happy, healthy bunch, but I'd avoid the the one near the bench that's trying to break into a bottle of Slorona - which is comes from Junk Food - he has a knife and well, that's gotta be dangerous... 
Onto the two good things though, since that's what you're really curious about... While on vacation I put 3 plushies up for sale on eBay - mum sells things she buys at carboots that way so she really did the selling I just provided the items - and made ten times what I paid for them! Then today, the second good thing happened, I was accepted back as a blogger for a store I missed working with SO MUCH... I am now a blogger for Aardvark once more... SO... Two good things, I wonder if or what a third thing could be?!

Letters to Santa

Today has been an emotional rollercoaster, I was putting out some of our Christmas decorations and discovered my doggy's Christmas stocking in the boxes. I cried for a while and decided to skip the decorating. I got through the vast majority of my wrapping, and then remembered a task that I had to do and hope it wasn't too late... 

I almost forgot that I hadn't written a letter to Santa, I mean I've tried to be a good girl this year although some may say that's debatable... I read lots of books rather than getting into trouble for example, though those books were mostly smut and morally gray... I only mentally murdered annoying customers at work, and didn't actually stab anyone, even though I'm surrounded by real knives... I tried to keep the house clean, whilst I fought my own anxiety that I wasn't ever going to be good enough to do it... I NEEDED to make sure I got my letter in to the big man in red... 
The house was a little warm tonight, maybe because I was typing up a storm on the old type writer I had kept specially for writing these letters. Before I had the chance to put the letter in an envelope and put a stamp on it, a flurry of snowflakes and magic swept in through the window and stole my letter away on the breeze... Will my letter ever make it to Santa?

Random Friends

Randomness can be fun sometimes, and I really feel that random is definitely something that fits with me and my blogging style. I love being dark and grungy, I love being pretty and fairytalish, but I think what ties it all together and something that makes me most happy is when things are totally random... 
Random, colourful, sparkly and cute, all things that put a smile on my face, especially when making some new friends along the way... 

I've been feeling a little dozey all day. It's still hot here, but cooling off and thank goodness for that... I AM SO HAPPY about it... Although the heat is still letting to me, it caused me to make some amazing new friends, adorable little Shroomies - from Aardvark - and some of the crazy little Fluffy Wumpkins - from Tardfish - but what I LOVE most today is the way that I can run my mouth or should that be mouths... Winner, Winner and a Dolphin Shaped Prize!

The weather has gotten really nice here in the Netherlands. I'm definitely not a Summer kinda girl, I HATE it when it's too hot, but today was warm and sunny, there was a cool breeze in the air and I really wished that I'd been able to be outside on a holiday rather than stuck at work indoors. 
I'd have loved to have been able to go to places I went to as a kid on days like today... We used to visit my nan and grandad at the beach, we'd go to the boardwalk fun fair and play the copper slot machines,we'd eat fish'n'chips and dance as the freezing cold waves tickled our toes... Those were the days, I wish I could go back to them... 

On the Otter Pier - which happens to be a backdrop created by Fashiowl Poses for The Arcade, it's the rare prize in the collection full of amazing poses - of the Ocean City Boardwalk, there are lots of wonderful places to pick up a quick snack at the Hungry Otter, and try my luck at some of the arcade games... Wouldn't you know I was a 'Winner Winner' - thanks to a pose from Extra in a collection at the Summer Carnival - which meant I not only had a fab day at the beach, but I went home with an adorably cute plushie friend too...

A Trip to the North Pole

Counting down the days till work is done and the Christmas holiday can begin... I'm still no feeling very festive, I can't really get into the mood... What am I going to do? Wha can I do to make things more Christmassy in my head?! I've tried all the things... Eating the goodies, singing the songs, and watching the movies... There's nothing that seems to be working properly... 
Maybe... Just maybe, a  trip to a certain snowy village and a meeting with a man in red, might be a good idea?

I headed on over to The Main Event, where the Snow Daze are getting a little festive... I decided that this was the best place for the meeting I was planning with the big man in red... I even got myself all dressed up to bend in with his workers, yes it was a little deceptive, but do you know how hard it is to get a meeting with the real Santa Clause at this time of year... 
I wore the awesome Falalalala Set - from 1313 Mockingbird Lane at The Arcade - maybe it doesn't match with the other elves... It did however, get me into a meeting with the big man, and he helped me feel better about the Christmas feeling. I sat on his knee and he even let me leave with a special present... Blending in at The Christmas Tree Farm

Saturday, the first Saturday that I've had off in a long time and I'm really excited to see that it would be a perfect time to get festive... I've been cleaning the house up a little, and beginning to dig out the Christmas decorations... Just one MAJORLY important thing I need to get... It's time for Christmas Tree Shopping... 
It's a lovely time to head to the Christmas Tree Farm...

I decided to dress myself up for the festive outing... Perhaps I'll go as  Christmas tree, OR maybe I can find an outfit that will let them think I'm one of their own, maybe a baby version of a little tree so that one day I can grow up to be as magestic as them... I'll wear that adorable little plant pals costume - from Ananas at The Arcade - I might even top it off with a Christmas Head Ornament hat - also from Ananas but available at Anthem as a free gift!! 
Now, it's time to take a trip to the North Pole for a "Beautiful Christmas Escape" where I hear they have some of the most beautiful Christmas trees, ready for the taking...

I'm Getting Off The Naughty List!

 It's been a very long time since I let myself get a little naughty and I have a funny feeling that right now, I have to get myself out of a tricky situation... I heard from a failry reliable source that should not be named, but apparently my name is visible on a certain fat man in red's naughty list... 
Now I know that it might get me deeper down the list but I know the way that might work... It might also make me Santa's Baby?! 

Dressed like a naughty little Elf - thanks to an amazing outfit created by 1313 Mockingbird Lane, available at Tannenbaum, and more visible if you want to check the advert that I've added below - I found a way into the big guy's room and waited, surprised to see the amount of things that HE should be on his own naughty list for... 
I got the chance to speak with him, and he luckily he agreed there was a way I could get off the list... MASTER... Dinner is Prepared!

I've had this film and it's songs on my mind for a few days... I'm dreaming of going to visit the Frankenstein Place, and dancing around with the various characters, I'd even love a good romp with the young Mr Tim Curry in his Rocky Room... But alas, it was not to be the case... I'd never get to be the Janet I'm far too much the Magenta hehe... 
Unfortunately there's no Frankenfurter either... Just Hellboneddy, yes that's HellBone as Eddy, it's less meatloaf and more gehaktball lol... Still we know what happened to Eddy... "MASTER DINNER IS PREPARED!" 

Honestly I blame Diffthought - the Mastermind behind Ananas - for getting the songs stuck deep in my mind, and causing not just me, but HellBone to go a little bonkers today lol... The Darkness in Summer

It is getting far too hot... Probably not by the standards of other places, but for the Netherlands it is far too warm... I'm already wishing that Summer would be over and to be honest it's only jut begun... 
People are asking if we're ready for hot girl summer... I've seen, and agree, with a different approach, I want to get more into Goth Girl Summer... Bring on the heavy metal, the black and the Gothic Summer Glamour!

Rainbow Heaven

I am a massive fan of Supernatural, and I LOVE everything that it was. All the characters, the locations, the stories, but today while I'm rewatching old episodes my mind is lost in the Supernatural version of heaven... It's nothing like the way I'd imagine heaven to be, if a place like that did exist...
I'd imagine my version of heaven to be a little different... Full of rainbows, sparkles and light...

Would it be Cannibalism?!

It is so hot in the Netherlands at the moment, the beginning of summer and the doors of the oven have been left open already. I just got home from a very long day of doing nothing too much at work and getting bored out of my mind. I get home and needed something cold to drink, I needed something with a little fizz to pep me up... 
There's a monster inside of me, and I need to feedher thirst hehehe... Technically though if that monster is a cola demon and it's a cola that she desires to drink, would that make her a cannibal?! 

I LOVE the way that this picture turned out... This Popstar is a Diva

 Working hard in retail for a living is just getting to be a little boring, and right now I find myself slipping off into dream land. My mind has been wandring to all sorts of different places, and just today I was thinking about a cartoon that I used to watch - Jem - she was like an original Hannah Montana only much, much cooler LOL... 
It lead my mind to dreaming of what it would be like to be a popstar like Jem... I have a feeling that Rudh would be a little more of a Diva!

What happens when the glistening planets in the nights sky start to lose their luster and grow dim? Can they sleep, or relax, to recharge, or is there someone out there that will charge them with happy sparkles to make them glow?! If not, there should be... For the record, I'm still terrified of Aliens, hence why I said a cerebral being like a deity, I'd never condone aliens LOL... 
Rudh was shocked to see that all of the light had gone from this pretty little Semi Luna - a STOIC creation - but luckily she was charged full of glittering neon light. Which Portal Would You Choose?

Sunday... It can only mean one thing... Tomorrow is Monday and the dreaded start to a new week! HOWEVER, it is still technically the weekend, and I'm going to chillax just a little longer... Put on some happy making music, and dance like no one is watching... I'm going to let the music take me on a journey into the mystical unknown BUT as with any journey, which path do I chose... The light or the dark?! 

It's almost a little psychedelic today, a little like a trip to somewhere transcending normality... Where the stars and light brighten up your vision to confuse as to the portal - from [not a peep] at the Gacha Guild by the way - maybe you should ask the one holding the key?! 
She's an ancient, mystical being, and she radiates light and music... The planets dance on her halo - a rare prize in the Doe Saturna Gacha at the current round of  The Arcade -  that floats around her dainty little horns. The only sign of her human weakness, is the fact that this little goddess would be blind without her super cute little glasses that are just "Over the Moon" - and a current group gift from Zombie Suicide!

Lipstick in the Bathroom

Saturday Night, my hubby is DJing and because I cannot think of a reason to get out of going I might have to just force myself to glam up a little bit and go... UGHHHHH LOL it means making myself look pretty...

HAPPY NEW YEAR... Bring on 2021!

 I know that I'm a little bit early with this, but I'm getting it out there now as I'll be going away over the New Year - not for long just for a few days to escape the fireworks that have been banned in the Netherlands but people will no doubt be setting off - and I wanted to send a wish for a Happy and Prosperous New Year... Dammit this year, unlike the years gone by, we could use it more than before... 
It's going to be a strange celebration, everyone on their own in their lock down bubbles, but let's all try to remain a little positive. I'm definitely one for hoping that this pandemic cannot go on forever!!

I'm going to sit somewhere, deep in the woods in the Netherlands with a good book in one hand and a glass of something cold and bubbly in the other to toast the new year in... 
In SL, Rudh pulled on a pair of those AMAZING gift glasses - from (Yummy) - and stuck a straw in her 'champagne to go' - from Bad Unicorn - before setting her sparklers on fire and almost catching her hair in it... 
On the subject of hair, I am so excited that my last post of the year features one of my favourite hair designers, who coincidentally just accepted me as one of her bloggers - THANK YOU SO MUCH DOE - and sticking to the subject of favourite designers, I'm wearing the jacket and shirt from the Kiki Set - that I won from miss chelsea in their facebook contest to release their newest UBER collection!!!

Shanked for my Gifts!

 Since it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and there's a lot of preparation taking place in both the everyday and dark macabre underworld so the little demoness in me is desperate to get into the Christmas spirit... In the asylum that I'm locked in, it's hard to do, but anything that we have been given gifts of coal and candy, there are light's to play with too... 

I wrapped myself in pretty lights  - from Doe in my hair and the amazing glasses from E.Marie at Anthem - and then got into a fight with another of the inmates who took my candy from me and gave me a CandyCrush by making me some new piercings with the Candy Canes turned shanks - thanks to G.I.N at Necrosis this month. 
Anyway I just popped out to show you this awesome bag of coal that I got as a present, but now I have to head back into the party and beat the one who shanked me over the head with the Christmas tree!!
