A Little Spiritual Magic

I still feel the need for a little magic and since the Angel sacrifice helped to stop the snow and melt away what snow there was, I heard things about weather warnings and so I NEED MORE Magical interferrance so that the snow stays away and that I can get to and from work safely for the next few days... 
I'm going to reach out to some of the other spirits and see if I can get a little more help... 

The Spirit that I have found today happens to be a Soul Spirit and they have a lot more influence on the world around them than you might think... The Mask Soul worn on her face - is a mask from BeSpoke - hides the way she's really feeling but her magic is all-encompassing. She can work her magic to help everything from luck, love and in my case, even the weather...

The Wolves and The Enchanted Snowman

There is still a lot of interesting things going on in the Enchantment's Frostbitten Graveyard. The inhabitants have come out to play in full force, and their awakening has drawn in more friends to explore the frostbitten landscape... For some reason a snowy graveyard always feels a little Dickensian in it's drama to me, maybe that's just my love of the Victorian Gothic ghost stories perhaps, but I love the frostbitten temperatures at this time of year... 

Since the fresh snow has now coated the Lost Cemetary - an older but still amazing backdrop from K&S - leaving it looking a little Frostbitten - thanks to items created by InkMe, for this month's Enchantment - it seems that the cemeteries inhabitants have been busy building snowmen that may be a little darker than outer appearances would have you believe... The snowman whose eyes seem to glow and has a strange set of roots that seem a a little rotten... Something is amiss with that snowman, I guess that is why the Wild Wolves - a new release from Aardvark available until December 8th at ACCESS - are being fairly cautious around it... 
The protector of the wolves is a guardian of Blind Faith - a headdress from MoonSha, available at Enchantment - but she will hav to work some serious magic to rid this poor little snowman of whatever magic is making him crazy...

Pool Time Fun!

It's getting hot again!! The temperature is rising just as I've got to start cleaning my house to make sure everything is ready to go home... WHY DO THE GODS HATE ME?!
All I want to to do is find a way to cool down, I want to shower every five minutes and swim somewhere cool and preferably shady... I wish I had a pool!!!

I'm not sure if Rudh is chilling in her rubber ring, or if she's making a terrible cannonball bomb into the pool and is about to get herself stuck in a rubber ring she's landing on... 
You can see that her fishy buddies are experiencing her arrival with different reactions... The Bubble Buddies, such cute little fishies - from Krescendo - are watching on with a little concern, but it's the Chompy Sharks - from Snuggle&Co, still available until July 13th at Summerfest - that seem to be enjoying it... Their pearly whites are definitely on show like they are smiling anyway...

Gathering of the Rainbow Fae

I was off work today and thought to myself "I'm going to be a good little blogger and get lots of pictures ready for me to post every day this week"... A few hours later and I got preciesly ONE ready... I wasn't being lazy, I just let myself decide to create something that took a lot of work and far too much planning LOL... Not to mention trying to get multiple versions of me into one shot... WHAT WAS I THINKING?!!

I had something in mind that I wanted to blog, I had a gorgeous new head - the Kanjo Anime Head from BeSpoke - and figured it might look great with the magical Astraeus Skins - a new release from Faunus, and both of these things could be found at the recently opened Skin Fair - and therein was my BIG PROBLEM... The Genie is OUT!

It's Halloween Season... That means there is likely to be a lot of horror, a great big helping of blood, and definitely a great deal of dressing up... I may not make it horrifically deadly all month but you know me, I LOVE being able to play dress up...
Last post was a Pirate, today we're as far away from the sea as can be although the fairytale magic still prevails, but our adventures have taken us to the Sinking Sands of the Desert to another Arabian Night...

Within the mirrors that hold the magic of the sands you may stumble across the Genie's lost lamp... Though if you do find it in the sand, becareful what you wish for... Wishes are made to be broken, wishes are made to be corrupted, and the genies of the lamp are known to be tricky so that they can twist your desires to suit their own wicked deeds...

Stealing the King's Trident

Whilst working on my blogging stuff and things today, I found my mind drifting off to another of it's many fantasy worlds and this time we drifte back under the waves, down deep into the sea where the sun shimmers on the water causing sparkles to dance on the sea bed... The mermaid in question today is not one of the ethereal princess types that floats into my blog from time to time, this one is a sneaky diva on a mission... 

There has been a coup in the royal palace of King Triton, and now in the Mermaid Cove the opposition have put some huge burly, Chubby Fish Guards - from Tardfish - have been placed on guard over the super important trident of the sea king... 
Triton has sent in one of his perfect Ocean's Daughters- which is actually a pose set from -Extra- at the Conch Island Festival until May 25th - while the lazy guards are not paying attention to what they are supposed to be watching...

Moth on the Moon

It's been a long day, and life has been busy. When don't I say that at the moment though... I feel that now it's time to just kick back and lounge on the sofa and let my mind drift off to a fantasy place, where I can be someone different, even if that means that I'm just different and still asleep... 
Maybe a sleepy fairy that snoozes on the moon... 

Sometimes when I'm in a world of my own it tends to be a fairy world and when I'm hanging on a moon - thanks to the Moonlight pose collection from -Extra- at the round of Kawaii Project that opens on April 18th - it feels peaceful...

OI, Where's My Cake?!

It's still very early into the new year and people I know are still working on their New Year's Resolutions. I never actually made any for myself, although I DID have some plans to do things that made me happy and so far I am managing to enjoy the things I planned. I listen to all of the crazy goals and plans that friends in both RL and SL have, and a lot of people are focusing on losing weight and exercise... I admit that when I'm running around at work, lifting heavy weight and constantly on my feet, exercise is the last thing on my mind... Though Rudh figured that she'd give things a little bit of a go... YOGA... 

She went all in this time, never doing things by halves, and after spending a fortune on setting up a work out space for her at home, filling it with exercise balls, dumbells and yoga mats - from collections by dust bunny, lmndrp and CHEZ MOI... She's dressed herself in a suitably sporty but still more than a little cute, in some leggings from Mug and a top from Palette, and she's ready to go... 
Never one for wanting to work out on her own, she invited a group of fluffy friends over to come and join in the workout party... They are all a group of Little Fit Bunnies - a release from Aardvark at the current sporty round of Anthem until January 27th - and while we were all trying to work out, bending into uncomfortable positions as she attempted to do some yoga poses... It was all going so well until one of those cheeky little bunnies said sod it to exercise, and went in search of the most delicious Sweet Winter Black Forest Cake - from vespertine - covered in chocolate and cream and a little cherry on top... Now I want that, exercise can wait...

Falling into a Dream

I've had a LOVELY lazy day... I don't get them very often at the moment considering how my work schedule has been and although the shop has been calming down, I don't think that I will be getting many more relaxing days for a little while yet... So whilst I've been relaxing, lazing and generally letting my mind wander, I'm lost to a perfect daydream... Wasting the day, spending it dreaming...

Dreams are such strange things... Some nights I can have a really deep sleep and dream of nothing, others I am so restless that the dreams are kinda vivid and make me wake up wondering what the heck I've done to cause the strangeness... There are very few days that I ever have the kind of dreams I want to have again and again, although those little fantasies are the ones I find myself falling asleep to... I am SO exhausted at the moment I tend to have no trouble falling asleep... 
As I'm falling asleep it feels a little like I'm falling down into a rabbit hole, just like Alice did into Wonderland... As I fall, the magic sparkles around me and so many weird, wonderful and pretty things float on by... Some adorable new friends, some amazing new furniture and the silliest new sets of eyes to watch my fall... I just hope there is something soft to land on and that it doesnt turn into one of those nasty dreams with a feeling of a surprise fall... Ugh how I hate those!!!!

Getting Trolled!

Last night I missed doing a 31 days of Halloween post since I had to go to the airport in RL to pick up my father, but there were accidents and I really didn't feel like sitting on my own and writing a blog post for a costume that I hadn't prepared... 
Today though was a different story. I had fallen in love with something that had been available for the Happy Weekend sale, and as soon as I got my hands on them, I knew that today's look would be something a little bit of a trolling post... 

It's Troll-tastic... I'm off my trolley.. I can't get enough trolling puns... 
It's all because of the fact that he Halloween trolls - from imbue at this weekend just gones Happy Weekend - are heading down to Spooky Street - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - for their own little Halloween celebration... 
I knew that if I wanted to join them then I had to get my Troll on... I died my hair a bright blue and gelled it up into a long Trollish style - thanks to a wig from Tableau Vivant - wanting to match their crazy styles I painted my face with a little make-up and glued a troll gem into my chest...

Riding on the Shooting Stars

Stars are a map of the universe and have long been relied upon for many things in many different cultures through-out the ages and the cultures. To see a shooting star can mean that change, luck, fertility and love are on their way - depending on which culture you check - but there's nothing out there that says what riding on a shooting star could do for you. 
As always, and since I could REALLY use a little change and a lot of luck in my life right now, Rudh is going to play guineapig and test this out... 

High up in the Stratosphere - a backdrop from The Bearded Guy - so high that if you're lucky you might get to see the hands of the gods, so long as you manage to dodge the shooting stars that zip through the black space. The angels have perfected the art of flying the stars, it couldn't be that hard, really, could it? Wannabe Angel Rudh decided to give it a try. She pulled on a pair of Celestial Shades - from Violetility, which you can also see in the close-up I added below - to protect her eyes from the starry glow, waiting for just the right moment. A star came whizzing past and Rudh jumped on for a Space Ride - an awesome new vehicle from Ananas for Kustom9 - and screamed all the way across the galaxy...

A Day of Mourning

Today is a day of Mourning in the UK, 10 days ago now we lost our Queen... No matter your feelings towards the monarchy, something about it seemed to make the world rock, and the ripples spread through the world not just in the Commonwealth but the ENTIRE world. It feels like we've lost a legend, Brits have lost a mother and a grandmother and I was bereft. 
Today, I sat and watched, like so many other people in the world, as the Brits do what we do best, putting on a show to thank and say goodbye to our beloved Queen Elizabeth II... 

I sat and I cried... I watched the pomp and ceremony of the State funeral, saying goodbye to a strong woman that dedicated her life to serving my homeland. I admired the strength of each and every member of the Royal Family for being able to get through the day without becoming a total mess... I know in their position I'd have been terrible, a snot bubble blowing monster... I sent silent thanks to my Queen, and wished her a happy trip back to beloved husband.... 
I felt a need to work on something to help my emotions ease, and that is usually something that I can do with taking pictures. I wanted to share my mourning, a thanks to my Queen, in my own Rudhish way...

The Disposal of a Body

Things have been strange for the past couple of weeks... I know that there have been worse things in the world but I'm kinda falling into a black hole. In the past week, I've lost two people as the Grim Reaper took them away across the River Styx... 
I'm half asleep on the sofa this evening, and I can't stop thinking about these people. One was family, the other was more like family than the first, but neither were people that really deserved it. I'd never wish death on anyone, but there are definitely people that deserve the pain of loss more. 
I'm in such a weird mood, I am frustrated and moody, I don't want to be around people, but I need a hug. Don't mess with me this week, it's probably the best advice that I can give... 

Honestly I don't mean to appear mean and moody today... I'm sorry for anyone that gets in my way but I'm in such a mood I could go on a murder rampage. 
I know the perfect place to throw a bagged body over a bridge, if you head out into the middle of the wilderness you'll get to the Overpass - a gorgeous backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - I'd recommend a sturdy vehicle, like a H&C Wheels Truck - the Reverence for example - as the rods get a little rough...

The Bungenie in the Lamp

For some reason I found myself being a little more random than usual this morning when I sat down and took a look into my cavernous inventory to decide what I needed and wanted to blog today... There are so many options, I needed to focus and find something that got my mental cogs working... 
It needed to be somehing different, it needed to be something mystical, but then I let my mind drift and it ended up in a meditative state and somehow there were bunnies involved... 

Inside my Dreamy Genie Bottle - a super old skybox from Trompe Loeil, that I'm not even sure they sell anymore, but you may be lucky - I sat on a very comfy cushion that will allow me to Meditate Anywhere - a cushion you can float around on from Ananas at ACCESS until June 8th, I'm not sure what happened, but before long I felt strange, the cushion was floating... Was it the magic of the meditation, or did I start floating because of the two HUGEEEEEE Bunny Fans - from Krescendo - that blew me up into the air??

Getting Caught Up Making A Wish!

Yesterday was my birthday and it was a lovely one this year. I was thoroughly spoilt by HellBone and my RL family, and today has been a quiet and relaxin day to follow the busy one yesterday. 
Now it's just a time for clean-up and making sure everything is ready for the week ahead, the only issue that I had all of these beautiful decorations, and now that my day is done, what am I going to do with them... I had this idea, and decided to collect all of my balloons, then head to the local park.
Making a wish, I released the bunch of balloons... 

As I let go of the bunches of balloons - from Hive - some floated loose, others drifted up in bunches, and then the accident happened... A string of balloons that was still tied around my waist wouldn't come undone, and I found myself lifting off the ground, "Going Higher" - thanks to the new balloon release from Ananas at Kustom9. Luckily I managed to grab my sneakers - from Tentatio - before I took off and floated up with the rest of the balloons, up into the clouds to take a few pigeons - from MishMish - by surprise!
Can someone find a way to help get me down?!

Self Reflection in the Sinking Sands

A walk in the desert sands can lead to people seeing things that are not there... More often than not it's the mirage is related to water, but in other cases there have been stories of monsters, buildings and even glimpses into the soul... The mirrors to your soul appear every few years and allow people the chance for a little self reflection. What will the mirrors of the soul allow you to see? Will it be your future, will it be your past, or perhaps it could be your darkest secret that only the soul could know? 

I guess that today if I look into the mirrors I might see myself pushing myself into attempting to create something for the FOXCITY Photo Challenge. I know it was something that I'd considered, and I fell in love with the backdrop - available now until March 22nd at Uber - but I was so nervous about the thought of a competition. I looked into the mirrors that appeared from the sinking sands, and took a moment for some self reflection... A conversation with the scared little me, it was time for a pep-talk!

The Mushroom Fae and Her Friends!

Since it's my Birthday Month, I'm doing all sorts of random pictures that make me happy... There's not going to be any coherency, I just want to do all the things that make me smile... 
Today I slipped into another of my mental fairytales... 
A dark cottage in the deepest parts of the woods, where the mushrooms grow in the long grass, you will find a small stone house. The mushrooms grow more abundantly here as there is magic within these walls... A fairy magic that keeps the mushrooms dancing... 

The little mushroom fae is drawing the magic into the glade, providing the mushrooms with their chance to dance. Everyone knows that mushrooms love to dance... Their dancing brings in the fawns of the Forest Tales - a re-release from gacha to instore regular release from YOKAI - and the mushroom fae will appear in the doorway of her cottage to feed these adorable little friends...

Dancing Fingers!

Somehow I've been doing a lot of hanging around in pink places lately... It's not a colour I've ever really loved but lately it's been a colour that is drawing me in... I love the way it goes so well with black, and there is a perfect clash with some fabulous colours like lime green... It makes me feel like dancing, somewhere people may or may not be watching... I don't care if people are watching I'm going to have the time of my life... 

Ladies and Gentleman, it's Play Time - thanks to the Playful Neons from Krescendo at the Fetish Fair - at The 'Finger' Bar which is decorated with decor to match the name - like The 'Finger' Banners from Junk Food at Dream Day - and it's time for me to dance... Burritos & Rudhitos

I'm hungry, it's dinnertime and as it's cold, I want something delicious and HOT. Not just heat wise, it's gotta be spicy hot too, so that it warms me from the inside out... Maybe a curry, or a casserole that's been cooked for hours.. Oh I know... CHILI!! Not just regular chili though, feeling lazy kinda chili, maybe a burrito?!

Make the chili, and serve with some delicious salad in a fresh, soft, tortilla for easy eating... I'm so lazy but it's easier to eat this way LOL... 
I made myself some DELICIOUS Chili - thanks to not one but two gorgeous sets from Dust Bunny, the Chili Days and Bunny Bell sets - but couldn't resist playing with a mini-me ray and shrinking myself down to see how it would feel to make a Rudhito hehe... I wrapped myself up in a burrito, like a giant Burrito Blanket - made by Ananas at the soon to close CozyFest, where everything is priced at 50L until February 4th - dyed my hair green so that when I laid down it looked a little like a lettuce leaf, and rolled around a little while until I was warm and cozy, and even more starving than before!!!

Nightmares at School

Today has been a day of what the fuckery... I got called into work suddenly in an emergency but there was so much to do that I was kept busy at least. Yet it was all pencil and paper work, when the internet is down in a store that relies on the internet for everything from pin card payments to the safe and even setting the alarm at the end of the day... Working with pencil was driving me nuts, having to write everything down... It reminded me of nightmares at school... 

In this nightmare, the cute little school girl in me was being chased through the corridors of school by two very recognisable characters - although today they are in very adorable teddy bear form from Junk Food as gifts at Satan Inc, for Teddy Kruegar, and at SL Shop & Hop for the Ghost Teddy - but I got so scared that I accidentally destroyed my own teddy... 
The nightmare got worse and I found myself falling over onto a huge pencil that just seemed to be taunting me, hovering in the middle of the corridor.. My Casual-Tee - a release from Ananas from Salem - wasn't much protection from the giant pencil, it stabbed straight through me...
