The Mourning Moth and her Pets

I felt like it was time for a little dark magic... Halloween is getting closer and closer, and so far the magic has barely been grey let alone dark... I think the Halloween spirits are beginning to get a little twitchy... 
There are spirits stirring in the deepest parts of the darkest forest... Monsters are getting restless and beginning to crawl out of the darkness... 

In the forest it feels like you are being Watched - a backdrop from The Bearded Guy - yet it is not the eyes you need to watch out for. The dark Mourning Moth - a release from Faunus that is still available until October 24th at Kawaii Secrets - is lurking, her dark magic having lured the Arachnid Belle - a gorgeous outfit created by the amazing Eliavah in a brilliant collaboration with everfaery for this month's Kustom9 - to create her a magical outfit made with dark magic in mind... 
She and her wonderful pets, the pack of Paimon - a pose prop included with the pose set from Fashiowl - and the large black Forest Spirit - from Tardfish - are preparing their arrival... It is time for more black magic...

The Capture of Mr FluffySocks, Kitty Spy!

Home from work today, and I've curled up in my jammies on the sofa to find something good on tv for an evening of viewing. I wanted to read my book, but my brain has otherwise, and whilst I have a headache I just cannot think about what I want to do other than switch my brain off... There doesn't seem to be anything good to watch though, I want something with a little intrigue, a little mystery and perhaps a little randomness that will inspire my random ramblings... 

As I sat lazing, my cat came to make use of me as a warm cushion. My mind began to drift and the show on the tv about a mad scientist that was creating evil minions, which may have been somewhat altered by my sleepy state because Gru and the minions were never really all that evil, was under attack by the superhero kitty that was able to invade the secret base in their flying machine... 
Of course, and I'm not entirely sure how, but I was able to re-create this amazing vision with some super cool new creations in SL, AND a Weird Science Coat - from Hotdog. She kept things safe by wearing a pair of Tomb style glasses - from sacredsquare that are available until March 15th as a hunt prize for the Wayward Hunt. The stars of the show today though HAVE to be the monsters and they super spy kitty... Bestrals are a shy monster unless handled properly - they are available from Tardfish at Modify Event - and once trained they are loyal minions. The Super Spy kitten has been given tools to make his spying life easier, including the Meowtron - which is a companion available from the awesome Aardvark at the current round of Cyber Fair until March 25th - so he can fly through the bad guys bases and cause chaos...

Using Christmas Gifts to Seduce Me

Around this time of year, everyone starts to send out their pretty, couply Christmas Cards with well wishes for the holidays and into the new year. I have been planning on getting somethign cute and couply done with HellBone, but then there are so many pretty, but rather risque poses out there that he'd never be happy posing in... I needed to find help, someone I know lives on the risque side of life, someone I feel safe and comfortable to bare all and lower my inhibitions with, and someone that means a lot to me since I was thinking of one of those cutesy Christmas card pictures in the darkest corners of my mind... 

The obvious choice had to be Deangelo, a man who has been a rock for me since we met over 15 years ago. Our relationship has changed over the years, but no matter how far away from each other we drifted, we have always been watching out for each other. He's protective of me, and I of him. He is someone that knows the real me, the truth behind my sparkly facade and he's supported me on so many occasions that I have lost count so many times over... 
I asked him to celebrate Christmas a little early with me this year, I made sure I was wrapped up in ribbons so that he would enjoy the unwrapping of the gifts as I asked him to Seduce Me - thanks to a pose from Secret Poses. I wanted to test out Santa's toys for naughty girls that had been left for me in the stockings over the fireplace - by LEMME -, and on the festive Tree Toy Rack - from Krescendo - to see which one will bring the biggest smile to the face of this Ho Ho Ho!

Let Me Work My Magic!

I know that I have been really all over the place with my blogging lately, but I always seem to radiate back to the magical side of things with a large dollop of fantasy and a small dose of darkness... I've often expressed that blogging is an escape from real life, and I guess that's why I tend to be drawn to the crazy, or the magical... I'm not so good at doing the normal - I've shown that with the numbers of lies I'm getting on Flickr - but the magical makes me happy... 
I will continue to work my magic, like some dark, twisted magician...

A Strange Nurse in a Dark Hospital

Oh my god today was insanely, busy! We were crazy from the moment that I got there and things just never seemed to slow down. I barely stopped walking, and didn't sit down and now I'm tired and sore and very uncomfortable... All I wanna do is sleep, but I need someone to nurse me back to health and stop the painful aches hehe... 
Someone call me a nurse please? 

Maybe this isn't the nurse that I was expecting... I mean there have been so many other options, but this nurse that based her look on the somewhat Resident Evil style... I just hope that she has soft hands and is good at helping someone sore to relax. I mean she's a very BeSpoke Ghoul although slightly Necrotic - available from Necrosis - and I worry because her eyesight is not as good as it could be, which is why she is using borrowed eyes - from Hotdog - but she looks like she might help?!

When we veg out... We "Veg" Out...

A day at work on my own due to a possibility of one of my colleagues coing down with Covid, I feel more than a little worn own, I now feel like doing nothing all evening but veg out... The TV is calling me, along with my Pyjamas... 
Sometimes it's nice to just be able to Veg out isnt it. In RL it's a little different to SL though, when I do it in SL I tend to do it a little differently...

To Veg out in SL, is to literally VEG OUT lol...HellBone and I, changeed our names to Spud and Spudulika - Brits will know Spudulika from a silly comedy sketch and maybe also a fast food chain of baked potatoes hehe - and put on our jammies to Veg Out... 
These amazing potato costumes are a newish release from Ananas - at Anthem - called Potayto Potahto... Maybe their next costume will be a Tomaytoe Tomaartoe hehe... 
I had to make my background so that the lazy taters would feel at home... I played an episode of "Hone I blew up the kids" in a manner of speaking, I blew up a bag of groceries - from Dust Bunny - and a veggie crate - from Vespertine - so we could veg out appropriately...

The Widow in Mourning

Mourning those that are gone is something that seems to be one of the hardest things to deal with in life... Losing someone that we're close to is a difficult way to have to get through a day, but when we face it we're stronger and have the power to move forward, no matter how much it hurts... 
Today I'm feeling a little melancholy, I miss my family and so I'm going to wander through the graveyard, and talk to the souls left behind... 

She's mourning the loss of loved ones, and stopping to read the inscription on the grave marker that says "Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us everyday" and unknown to her while she's masked in sadness, her family are reaching out, trying to take her hand...

Prepping for Halloween!

Happy First of October to everyone, my favourite season HALLOWEEN is now upon us and I'm SUPER EXCITED... There's a whole month of HORROR coming your way and a whole heap of things to see and do in SL that I cannot wait for! 
It's one of the best reasons for Hell to get in a photo with me... It's Halloween!!!

Fae in the Dark Places

I got dragged away with the fairies again today, and deep in the underground mines I stumbled upon a magical cavern - deep in the Ethereal Forest... The fae within me was desperate to come out, and the dark magic swirled... I pulled out the wand that I keep in my boots - carved from a dead fairy skeleton - and let the magic take over... 

She's dark and mysterious, due to the magic from her dead fae wand, and she wears the Survivor Headpiece - a crown with the skull of a deer from Tentacio at Aenigma - and crystals that have been added to her necklace to enhance her powers...

Pain in My Eyes

I sat down to write a blog post over two hours ago now... My Husband is being really distracting - he's got this bad habit of knowing EXACTLY when I want to concentrate on something and then chooses that moment to demand my attention. It's the source of my biggest frustrations with him - he's STILL doing it even now! I'm trying to tune him out - that's it HEADPHONES ON! 
It's been one of those days, when everything is frustrating the crap out of me. I've not had enough sleep, I kept cutting myself at work and I just want to run away and hide. I plan on doing that very soon, but the feeling is matched so closely in the way Rudh is feeling today too... 

Thanks to the ECLIPSE, she's on edge - pissy if you will - and she's in the mood for stabbing someone. She's already been in more than one fight it seems if her huge black eye and multiple scratches are anything to go by?! 
The scratch marks on her chest are an ECLIPSE release from VAIN - called The Claw Scars - and it makes me wonder if they were caused when she put up a fight about the collar she's now wearing? These SpookShow Collars - and in fact the Septum Piercing too - look pretty fierce really, they seem to be a perfect compliment to her mood! 
Though I want to draw attention to something little here... Take a look into my eyes... They give you a message! I might be pissed off but there's a message there, a call for help or an SOS if you will... I love these eyes and the fact that they send some very good messages! The eyes are the ECLIPSE release from duckie, and YES OK they are a bit on the hard to see side, but I'll be good and add a copy of the eye ad for your perusal!

Assisting the Sleep of the Darkness

The end of March has arrived, and even though spring has sprung, it seems to be heading into warmer weather and you know me, I'm not good when it gets HOT. 
Still before the month comes to a close I have just one more dip into the Eclipse... Before the sun is revealed again and the darkness slips into hiding for a few weeks. I'm about to sedate myself and take that long, much needed nap... 

Sometimes you find yourself on the receiving end of items that have been under a little bit of heat. This time I found myself paying close attention to a release from Hotdog for this month's round of Eclipse. The item that I'm referring to is the Hotdog Heroin Syringe. This item has been getting some major backlash on Facebook, and I have to say that love it or hate it, it's definitely getting some notoriety. I myself am not a fan of the idea of supporting Heroin addiction, BUT I will say that in a place like SL where people can do anything they choose to do - providing that it's not hurting someone else and is not something totally horrible like Pedophilia - items like this are just another aspect of a role play world. It happens in RL, and so naturally people may act it out in Second Life. The item is well made, and although I am not keen on the idea of heroin, the needle itself could contain ANYTHING! In my case, right now, I'm going to tell you it's a needle full of a potent sleeping drug, and because it's MY Role Play, then you'd have to just go with that and accept it. No one is forcing it on you, if you don't like it look away, but that's the beauty of toys in an imaginary world. One person says heroin, another says sleeping meds and depending on who is holding the toy at the time the outcome is varied! I'm not a fan of seeing "adult" women sucking pacifiers, so I don't do it, but that's not for me to say it's bad for everyone who does! 
Anyway... Rant over!! OK... On to the rest of this last dip into Eclipse! 
This dark little monster, the one that will be asleep soon thanks to my magical sleeping meds, is decorated in the Moloch Tattoo - of THIS IS WRONG - a design that takes half her face and both arms! She's strapped up, wearing only some tiny Pantsu Codex Panties - from CerberusXing - using straps from Insomnia Angel, and hopefully soon that will be the only insomniac thing about her... 
Sleeping now until the new ECLIPSE, not long but long enough to feel re-energized, awakening just in time for April 13th when the new darkness will start!

The Funeral of the February Eclipse

As the month of February is slowly beginning to draw to a close, I am already looking back thinking where has the time gone. Not long ago now it was Christmas lol, and it's apparently already not that much longer till the next one, but as the month comes to a close, so does another awesome round of ECLIPSE. I figured it was time to give it a proper goodbye this month, let's send it off with a funeral of sorts... 

Of course, me being me, we will make it a bit of a show... Something to wow the crowds that will no doubt want to wish the round that has been a epic farewell, as the trumpeters line up to play a tune to welcome the March round in just a few weeks! 
So to send the event to it's funeral in style, I've drafted in the use of the DRD Funeral Carriage - available for just a few more days at Eclipse - it even comes complete with it's own coffin that can be used with or without the carriage.  I also decided to dress with a little flair, the kind that only Hotdog could provide. It's a Ringmistress outfit but Hey my funeral party for Eclipse shouldn't be too sad, we have another round coming in less than a month YAY! So let's celebrate that too! The outfit is available in darks and lights, with or without stripes and in separates for legs and tops so that you can really mix and match - I LOVE when you can mix and match sets!!!

Snakes in the ECLIPSE

The ECLIPSE has begun, there's magic in the air, and it's dark and evil... We're still exploring the bad girls club, but as of right now. The Bad Girls Club has to be in a location within the World of Magic. Right now the club has lead us into it's first of many locations, hiding in the halls of Slytherine... 

This bad girl is a returning Slytherine... She's been scarred by the snakes that the house takes as it's mascot. Her scars are shown proudly - she fought for those scars and she wants to show them off! 
The scars are actually marks of Merek - a wound tattoo designed by The White Crow for Eclipse - which is beautifully shown off under her very elegant Viper Dress from MONUMENT - which is also available at Eclipse. 
The location is a secret room within the Serpent's Lair, released by Candle & Cauldron at the World of Magic...

Shhhh... It's quiet!! It's early!!

Shhhhh, it's still very early in the morning at my house, and well.. The New Year is coming, it's rolling closer and closer, before we know it the year 2018 will end and 2019 will start. I'm not sure that I'm excited for a new year, some people are wanting 2018 to end but for me personally at least the last few months haven't been bad and I'm holding my breath to see what will come next. 
Let's not dwell on that though, because for me I'm pretending it's still October... I'm all about Eclipse and the way that October Never Dies... Wanting a little creepiness to make me feel less anxious... 

Creeping around in the early morning light, you can see that home is pretty bare. I've stripped away all of the decorations of Christmas, but cannot make a noise to wake the household by redecorating, even the creaky floorboards are making too much noise today... 
The majority of this picture though is made up of some very pretty goodies that are available now at ECLIPSE - until December 31st when things will be cleared up ready for a new line-up, I hope!
It all seemed to go together so well, in a kinda gothic vintage style! The Adelia Dress from lassitude & ennui, teamed well - in such a cute kookie way - with these awesome Pointed Boots from Hotdog that it became the reason for the vintageness... Then when I added the peculiar things Chloroform Corner furniture items and the pretty noctis Black Winter Hallstand, it was almost like a match made in a Tim Burton movie... ALMOST! 
Anyway, I need to get some stuff done, and I'm gonna be pretty busy for the next few days, so if I don't see you, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! See you in 2019!

Deadly Elf is NOT for the Shelf!

Somethings up with Jack, Somethings up with Jack... The Pumpkin King has GONE again!! Missing from Halloween Town in the midst of preparations for the next Halloween Holiday... But where can he be?! 
There's a rumour circulating around the holiday lands that this year the Christmas elves are not going to risk Halloween taking over the next Christmas again, and are stepping in to stop that from happening! There's even a rumour of a special elf which has no joy on his mind, only keeping Jack from breaking Christmas! They keep him locked away where it's dark and cold, where there's no "making Christmas"!

I was lucky enough to be able to find Jack and the evil Christmas elf, deeply hidden in the darkest corner of the North Pole. This is way beyond the naughty list, this is where the torturous magic happens! Unfortunately for the elves, they've made a bit of a bad mistake! It's not the real Jack, it's Rudh in her Nightmare before Christmas costume!! Maybe they know that though, maybe it's more of a warning to Jack?! Wonder if the elf realised yet that she kinda likes the choking?! 
One thing for sure though, this Elf won't be on a Shelf once Santa realises that he's torturing the wrong Skellington!!

October Never Dies, but Rudh Did

October Never Dies... Halloween is an everyday thing for some of us - and for me that goes for Real Life as well as SL - and luckily now there's a brand new event starting in SL today for those of us that cannot get enough of the spooky, the gory and the macabre... 
Rudh had been left for dead after all the crazy deadness of October had moved into the crisp Fall of November, but that little living dead doll is finally about to wake up... It's time for the new Eclipse!

The new event that has me all excited is Eclipse, where October Never Dies... It's the brainchild event of the team behind DRD, and I'm SOOOOOOOO very excited that I've been nominated by one of the participating designers to be given the chance to blog for it! I nearly fell out of my chair when I was invited, I am beyond excited and I really hope that I can do a good job for all the amazing designers that are participating! 
Now the event opens today - November 13th at 3PM SLT - I will edit the post to add a LM later - but for now I have to wake the living dead doll Rudhie up... She took a nap in the Overgrown Fountain - a new exclusive by DISORDERLY for Eclipse - and... Oh... We may have a problem... Looks like the wolves have been chowing down on her again. Her lower half is missing! Only her entrails are visible - thanks to the Hotdog release for Eclipse "Gutted" - I guess we need to find some legs to Frankenstein onto her!!!

Beware the Dark House on Trick or Treat Lane!

So, in case you'd missed it, Trick or Treat Lane is now open and ready for exploring... There's lots of things to see and do, as well as lots of great treats to collect along the way! 
Creepy lil Rudh is raving about it to everyone... Today she even made the perilous journey through the dark corridors to share the news with the creepy old lady that remains locked in the attic. They lock her away for your safety, you know, she's too evil to be released into normal society and yet Rudhie cannot help but take care of her... Creepy family is still family!

There's a picture of the old lady in her younger days hanging on the wall in the corridor, just before her locked bedroom door - and yes they keep the door locked with chains as well as two locks on the door itself... The picture was captured as a Momento Mori, by the Oubliette team, and it's a very realistic portrait! Luckily her eyes are covered, it was the eyes that shared her true evil nature... 
The evil magic that fills this house causes so many amazing things to happen, like Rudh being able to carry one candle as many float with her to light the dark corridors - thanks to the Witching Hour Pose from Extra at Trick or Treat Lane! 
I have to say though I love the eccentricity of this creepy little Rudh's style... That adorable, almost Victorian style Presley Dress - from Momoko - paired with these crazy Bone Goggles - from Spyralle, both available at Trick or Treat Lane until November 2nd - is such an eye-catching look, it's such a shame she hides in the dark house and misses the light of day! 
Be careful though if you visit her on Trick or Treat Lane... There's much more to the seemingly sweet, lonely girl hiding in this house!

Magically Making Tricks or Treats

Ever wish that you could just wave a magic wand and the bad things that are in your life would just disappear... Ever wish that you had a good witch watching your back, that could turn princes into frogs when they needed to just stop spreading lies... Right now that's where I'm at. I promised someone I'd try and boost my happy feelings, but right now I'm still hiding from the bad stuff, wishing that I could cast a spell to make people disappear... 
Luckily I have the perfect outfit for Rudh to wear when she figures out the spell... Luckily I have a very awesome shopping event to distract myself because Witches and Warlocks... TRICK OR TREAT LANE HAS OPENED IT'S DOORS FOR 2018!!!!!!

Rudh decided to check out some of the books in the local Magick Shoppe - available at DRD - but luckily thanks to Trick or Treat Lane and it's awesome collection of designers, she can look like a cute little witch as she tries to make out the words in the ancient tome... 
In a Flouncy Dress - by [QE] Designs - and some awesome 1313 Mockingbird Lane "Fiona" Stockings, she's even slicked on some Spooky Sparkle lip glitter - from UniCult - she's dressed for Trick or Treat Lane, but a few additions like the gorgeous hat and wig from Tableau Vivant, and the Moonphase Choker from Candle & Cauldron - which is so awesome it actually shows the true phase of the moon!!! 
Now although a pretty picture is nice to look at, in this case you can't really clearly see the choker or the socks... SO I'm being a good girl and sharing ads for them too to give you a better idea, maybe this is something I should do more often?! 

After all the good stuff, maybe it's time to skip on over and do a little trick or treating?! I know I've got plenty more to come lol... You won't wanna miss this!!
