Slowly Moving In

It's kinda happened, HellBone and I have almost finished moving into the most different location from our real house, and it's feeling a LOT like we are on holiday at the moment... I don't think the cat has even started to fully understand that we are here for a while and she keeps waiting near any door that she hasn't explored behind yet...
He had to go out for work today and left me to settle in, do some unpacking and try to find my place here, whilst keeping the cat calm... That's what I was supposed to do... It didn't really pan out that way... 

I spent a LOT of my day doing things to settle us in, and make it feel a little more homey... The rest of the day, I spent a fair amount of time laid back on my bed reading a book to look after the cat...
It's good for my Book Counter - from Krescendo, available until February 26th at FaMESHed - which will be helpful considering that I have a few new books for my Lewdy Library Collection - from MadPea at the Gacha Arcana - and there needs to be a lot of reading done while the cats become Little Hunters - a collection from Aardvark, that can be grabbed at the new round of Kustom9 until March 9th - and discover any little mice that are living in the shop downstairs!

Wandering into Wonderland

Honestly I'm OVER Valentine's already but wanted to do something with hearts and flowers and a little cuteness to at least try and stay with the romantic feels... I spent a long time dreaming of what I could do that would make me smile and feel a little less grumpy than I have been and I seem to have drifted off into a dream land... When I woke up I was drifting into a magical place, a Wonderland of my own... 

The mirror in my room, started to get a little hazy, there was a certain amount of magic that seemed to be floating through the mirror and so I decided to let it see where it would take me and what wonderful things would happen... The mirror's reflection drew me in, as I got close it started to change, and before I knew it, I was stepping through into Wonderland... 
As I stepped through, the mirrors magic dressed me for the part, an outfit fit for Lewis Carroll himself and most wonderfully weird and wonderful imaginings...

Awakening the Spring Spirit

Back from my vacation and ready to get back into being an adult, I think?!! I mean does anyone ever really want to be an adult? There are so many expectations that I simply cannot be excited about it right now... I guess that's why I let my mind wander into the fantasy realm sometimes, and since I'm already missing my parents, that's just where I will let my mind go again... 
Maybe it's time to start planning ahead and welcoming in the spirits of Spring...

The Spirits of Spring have been hanging around the Nature Palace - which is a backdrop from The Bearded Guy - until it was time to start coming out of hiding. Things are still inter changable between the hot and the cold, there is no way that we can be sure and so everyone has been taking scarves and gloves, as well as light coats wherever they go... Hopefuly now that the Spring Spirits are awakening, preparing their magical spells and coming out into the light things may start getting a little warmer, brighter and happier...

Trick or Treating for Pennies

 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! The day of the darkest magic has finaly arrived and there is so much fun to be had... I'll admit to you now that this October has been a whole lot less Halloweeny than years gone by, and even though it feels like I've done a lot less Halloweeny stuff this year I'm kinda happy to just be able to relax and enjoy the chill in the air... 

I spent a long time trying to work out what I wanted to be this year for Halloween... I finally got my Hop(e) on - which also happens to be the name of the backdrop from K&S - and realised that posing in the sewer there was one character I had to be... The sewer seemed far too full of trash, and even the tentacle monster that dwells in the dark wants to escape... 
What kinda Halloween spooky lives in the sewer you might ask? For those of you that appreciate a good horror movie, there's only one real answer... I'm dressing all cute and evil clowish, I'm going to get my IT on... 
One of my store obsessions, Mug, made the perfectly girlie version of Pennywise's outfit - appropriately called Penny, and available until November 10th at Kustom9 - and with the addition of a little make-up to look a little Scherzo - in a make-up that is a Hunt Gift from Fallen Gods Inc, at the soon to shut Trick or Treat Lane - and my clowning around was ready...

A Prettiful Nightmare

It's been a few days since I had a chance to post anything blogging style... I've been busy stuck at work and I'm not able to get ANYTHING fun done because of it.. Chronos Aeterna and her Hexaclaws

 I'm sticking with the magic and heading into another fantasy realm today, one where the sands of time are bringing on the darkest of notions, luring in the spirits of death in preparation for next month's creepy events... 
The magical spirits cannot contain their excitment...The preparations are going smoothly... Magic is being gathered, prepared and protected... There are spooky sensations in the air...

In the Dark Arena temple of Chronos Aeterna - an outfit set by MoonAmore, at Engine Room - our little goddess of the hourglass sands consults the fates via the use of her Chronomancer's Astrolabe - from Quills & Curiosities - and prepares to spread more sand by cutting into the hourglasses with the Robin Daggers of time... The escaping of the hourglass sands is always a lure for the Hexclaw Felines - a gorgeously magical kitty release from Aardvark for Engine Room - these beasts are feasting on the magic that drifts in the air, a warning for the people that death is on it's way...

Apples in Autumn

September is technically the start of Autumn, and today it feels like the weather has finally gotten that memo. It's supposed to be cooling down, although the colours of nature are starting to heat up as green changes to orange and red... I love that the air is getting crisper, that the raindrops mix with the falling leaves... I am refusing to think about pumpkins for a few weeks, but I did decide to help out with another amazing Autumn activity... It's harvest time... 

I LOVE a crunchy apple, something red and juicy, or green and crisp, caramelled or dried or pricked straight from the tree...
I'll pick a few apples in the gardens of Second Life - like the backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis... I'll turn some to candy apples, some to scrumpy cider and maybe even use a few to make a pie... Now I'm getting hungry lol... 
It's also the perfect time to start dressing in the warm, snuggly knit wear of Autumn. A large Baggy Sweater, over some figure hugging leather pants - like the Wren Set by miss chelsea, available until September 30th at Anthem - accessorised with a sun hat - like the one that comes with the Lamb hair - and some larger than life Oversized Specs - the one's I've chosen to wear from the new French Touch event, and the designs of Boutique #187 - to keep off the cool, and the sun from my eyes... Flowers and Fluttering Things!

It's time to get MAGICAL... It's time to celebrate and let my hair down... It's time to RELAX... Today is unofficially the start of my holiday... I am going away to see my family in RL next week, but for the next few days I'll be blogging my little heart out and having a damn good time doing it... I even saw a blogger challenge that I plan on participating in, so watch this space for that, but today I'm letting the magic take me... 
The flowers of summer brings all the butterflies, bees and perhaps a cute little fairy boy or two - depending on my reading material hehe - to my garden... 

I am very much looking forward to spending some time in England next week, there is never anything more relaxing than seeing my parents and other family members. I look forward to spending some time in my parents garden, reading books and doing a little shopping... 
My fathers garden is a magical place, full of flowers, full of life and when I was little, I always imagined it was full of fairies...

Vintage Glam on Route 66

Sometimes I like to step out of my comfort zone, and that can lead to pictures that are different for me. It gives me a chance to live a little... Whie playing with my clothes, things that I'd be sent from designers and other toys that I wanted to blog... I spend so much time looking at things, wondering what I am going to do that sometimes when it happens it's like a lightbulb moment...

I've always LOVED that vintage, retro, Rockabilly look but I'm usually too shy of trying to do it, as it is very specific and I don't want someone to it's terribly done...
This look happened because of an accident... Whilst changing between two different outfits from miss chelsea, the Isha Set, of which the top is currently being worn, and the Zaya Skirt that is available now at Equal10, this somewhat rockabilly kinda outfit was born... 
Then it was only a matter of setting a curl in my bangs and finding the perfectly retro looking Gas Station - from Synnergy.Tavis - where the vintage Spiral Gumball Machine - from MadPea - stood proud, standing out taunting me to get a gumball like I'd loved when I was a kid... Perfect for a vintage pose...

Flower Petals and Leaves

A lovely day off today... It's been a peaceful day, and that was very much needed as I've been going crazy all over the place lately. 
I wanted to slip into a little fantasy place, somewhere that my mind could be restful and enjoy the warm sunshine that is drenching my gardens. The sunshine was making me feel magical, the sunshine made me feel like I could be a fairy in a ruined garden... That was when the magical me came to life... 

Being in the mystical gardens by the Swimming Hole - an older but still a good one from Synnergy.Tavis - the magical Swamp Gazebo - a release from Violetility at Wasteland - appears in the evening sunlight, made more magical today by the solar eclipse. 
There's a leafy imp, part fae, part demon that identifies as a Forest Demon - created using items from Forest Fantasy Store at We Love Roleplay - talking to her Living Leaf Minions - part of the Magic Collection by BROKEN ARROWS - and planning an event of lunar proportions...

Soul in her Eyes!

I've had a few days off over the weekend, and we have been busy sprucing up our bed room so that when our new bed is delivered next week the whole bedroom will look lovely...
It has given me a chance to taken an introspective look at things and I've been getting into a bit of a depressed mood. I miss my family, I feel like I'm working too hard and I'm exhausted, and I want to be able to curl up and sleep a lot more than I've been able to lately. My brain hurts, I'm tired and I feel like my soul is far too heavy lately... 

Sorry if today things seem a little melancholy, I just feel a little meh and I guess it's something that I have to work through. My soul feels heavy. I'm exhausted and running on auto pilot, I want to sleep like the bears and hibernate for the next few months. I want to escape reality and find somewhere quiet that I can curl up with a book. I want to hide under a blanket and watch my favourite feel good movies, I could get lost in a Lord of the Rings marathon easily... 
Whatever is going on in my mind is causing the moths to flutter through me causing my anxiety to spike - and they decorate me as jewels on my rings, thanks to a new ring set from Violetility at N21, and a group gift from AsteroidBox - while the windows to my soul, my eyes are showing that my soul is screaming - thanks to a set of eyes from Samia...

Building Men of Snow

Christmas is past now, and the new year is moving in extremely fast with 2023 soon to disappear and 2024 rolling in... It's been a busy few days since Christmas, I worked since the big day and now I'm actually on a week's vacation. I'm actually going to be able to relax at home ALL WEEK... It feels crazy and I cannot wait until things kick in and I actually start relaxing... 
What will I do? How can I waste my time? Reading, blogging, taking pictures, more reading... 

I think I'm going to try and enjoy more of the Wintery landscapes in Second Life, before everything starts getting all spring and into Valentines decorating way too quickly... 
I think I'm going to spend some time exploring, wearing snuggly warm clothing and even building a snowman or two... Once I've built one it will be easy enough to build more... Outside the Winter Manor - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - in the middle of a Snow Day - a collection that includes the Snow Man in the bobble hat from Dust Bunny - and then I decided to try making a snowman that was a little different. The way that I built him he ended up looking a little odd, much more like a Dick Snowman - created by Krescendo - least he looks like he's standing up straight...

Tea and Blankets

It's not long now until Christmas and I'm stil finding it hard to get into the Christmas spirit. I've been trying to put decorations out in SL but RL I'm just no where near ready. I've got a tree, I've collected the decor and I'm just not in the right place to get myself Christmassing... I need to get through the next two days and then I plan on Christmassing my RL... For now I'm planning on doing nothing much, watching some TV under a blanket in a comfy pair of pyjamas with a cuppa tea... 

Tea is so important to me, when I was younger I never really drank it, but now that I'm older I love to get myself a cozy cuppa. One of my favourite people, a best friend of mine in both S and RL, sent me a HUGE bag of my favourite English tea brands. 
I love nothing more than getting home any time I have to go out in RL, and getting into a cosy pair of pyjamas - something like the Cady Onesie from miss chelsea at equal10 - and wrapping myself up in a soft cozy blanket - like the one from hive - so that I can bundle up warm...

The Second Best Way To Relax!

I've had a long day of studying and tomorrow until Sunday I'm heading off on a three day working at the shop kinda blogging time out... I have had a busy day and my mind is spinning with all of the new information that I received... This evening, I had to find something to do that was a bit of a stress relief, I found the perfect break time activity, and then I found another perfect way to relax once the relaxation was done... 

The relaxing part was more than a little naughty, but sometimes, that is one of the most relaxing things a girl can do... I love to get myself all pretty, though sometimes when you spend too long waiting for someone to turn up and help, you have to take matters into your own hands... 
I mean it always helps if you have a willing participant, failing that a bear in a strapon can work too, but once all of that is done, there's a good book on the bedside table and a coffee can be brought in by room service at the Northern Cliff House Hotel - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - so there is plenty to keep you occupied whilst you relax...

Laundry Days at the Pole

I am not a fan of this being a grown up thing... I mean you have to be serious and go to work all day and then when you get home, you have to do more fun things like household chores. The laundry needs folding, the dishes need doing and there is a stink coming from the cat litter tray that could make even the devil cry. 
It's not only in RL where this can be a problem though, the work is never done for a girl in SL either... Since it's nearly Christmas, I've had to take on a little extra work to help pay the gift purchasing bills, and today it's laundry... 

I took a job working in this adorably busy little town, full of the cutest little folks with a leader that's jolly and welcoming, although he has some interesting tastes in clothes... I had to hang them up as it's Santa's Day Off - a washing line set from dust bunny, available at Anthem - and it's not too bad, I don't even mind the uniform really, the Santa's Helper Hats - from KitCat - are brilliant and warm... 
Anything to get my into Santa's good books...

Neon Catwoman

I've been being very good lately, I have behaved and been fairly prim and proper since the Halloween festivities have died down. Although sometimes we need to get our crazy out, no matter which way they come out it's a brilliant way to release your pent up energy... 
Today is just one of those crazy days, I had to get myself a little dolled up, a little different and a chance to have a release of energy, today I'm not just going to be Rudh, I'm going to the Catwoman of the future... 

The future will be totally different, neon lights will be the only colours to be seen as the earth is shrouded in darkness and everyone will live in Cyber City - a backdrop from Paparazzi - and the people are able to slink in the dark. Catwoman Rudh of the future is a slinky Black Cat - from Forest Fantasy Store - and she likes to be surrounded by the big, fluffy, Leopard kittens - thanks to the gorgeous pets from Jian. Also, because she is catwoman, she needed the hottest of futuristic outfits with something latex and neon, something that hugs my figure in all th right places - thanks to Normandy and Lunchmeat.

Dark Immaculate Heart

I still cant get my mind into blogging something normal at the moment, for some reason I cannot get myself into a normal frame of mind... I think that my mind is stuck in a fantasy world after all of the costumes that I've been putting together for the Halloween festivities... Maybe I'll keep myself getting into the fantasy spirit... It's something I LOVE doing, I will be sharing a little love for dress-up, lot and lots of Love... 

Love is an amazing thing, it can be wonderful magical beautiful, but it can be brutal dangerous damaging. Love can be warm and cozy or hot and fierce. Love can be between couples - or poly relationships - family and even friends, yet when it disappears Love can be the most painful thing in the world to lose. If love is anything, it's deep, it's happiness and it's a better feeling than the most powerful drug could provide. 
Love can be good or bad, if there is a cupid for the good kind of love there should be a goddess somewhere for the bad kind. She hides in the Sanctuary Hell but wears the marks of the Dark Love goddess in the form of the Immaculate Hearts - from CUREMORE.

Salem's Sisters

Yesterday I missed my chance at working on a 31 Days of Halloween look since I was down and out with a terrible migraine... I guess that's why today I went above and beyond and over did things a little, making not just ONE but four of Salem's sisters... Three of the sisters are fairly sensible, focusing on their magic, but the fouth is a bit zany and would rather be riding around on her broom... 
However, I guess we should let the sisters practice what they do best... 

In the Black Widow Pad - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - the Salem Sister's - a pose from -Extra- - stand over the HUGE bubbling cauldron - which is a prop from MadPea - to cast a spell and practice some of the darkest of Halloween magic. Today, they throw in some Koroko Flesh - from Just Tony - a big juicy steak that's been prepped to replicate a heart and some delicious Packaged "Meat" of the Ex-Boyfriend variety - thanks to the brand new releases that are available from Junk Food -  it was time to give someone a little payback!!! 
Although these sisters are a coven, known by all as the Salem Sisters, each one of them has their own special sense of style, perhaps they are a little like the powerpuff girls of witchcraft!

Pleased to Meat You!

I've had a VERY busy day at work today and had to deal with more than my fair share of rude and disgusting customers. Remember people, it's NOT cool to treat people that work in retail like crap - it's not cool in general to treat anyone like crap, but just because someone works in retail doesn't mean they are any less important than you... 
It made me so grumpy, I had to control my anger but sometimes some of those people make me super furious, I was seeing red... I was out for blood, and so to dispose of the bodies that I slaughtered I decided to package them up and sell them to these asshat customers... It became my 11th day of Halloween look... 

The Crimson Room - from NinaX - while the blood was left to drip everywhere from the Fresh Meat - by Lilith's Den and Ghoul - that hung from the meat hooks. She'd take the parts down, cover them with blankets and wait until she was ready to sort the Packaged "Meat" - a gift from Junk Food at Satan Inc - into their different brands, ex-boyfriend, ex-girlfriend, nosy coworker or even the slightly exotic zombie meats... You're welcome to come and purchase some of this delicious fresh meat, pop down to the "Pleased to Meat You!" where I'll wear some of the samples and sell you a delicious slice of ex-boyfriend for my 11th day of Halloween look...

Magic the Monsters Away!

Things are so wonky in my mind right now... I, like many brits right now am in a state of shock, mourning and perhaps a little feeling of being lonely and lost after the loss of our constant, our backbone, our Queen. May Queen Elizabeth II rest in peace, back in the company of her beloved Prince Phillip. 
I needed to do something more than a little distracting, I needed to find a place to rest my mind, and let me tell you it's no easy thing when your head is full of fluff... 
I needed to take some magic into my own hands, I needed to defeat some of the monsters in my head... The Monsters are big and scary, they need to be vanquished with the magic that I can only find inside myself... 

Lurking in the darkness of the Phaetons Passageway - a backdrop from Normandy - and whilst I was creeping along the halls, a huge monster appeared from behind a Weird Science Tank - an older release from Violetility - to scare the crap out of me... The magic inside me bubbled up, and I HAD to blow him away! 
I managed to get that mean looking monster, all the while looking absolutely fabulous in the most gorgeous Exie Neon Dress and it's matching sleeves - from Psycho Barbie - which looked adorable with the new Lunchmeat DEFENSE Garters - available now at The Grid. Just a little note for these Garters, I actually tried them with the Maze Soft Kits for Maitreya. It made the straps look like they were cutting in just enough to be realistic, but also meant that I could hide one inside my leg by wearing only the separate thigh options...
