I know that Halloween is over but seriously I cant resist myself one more dark and Samhain themed post because well, for me every day is Halloween! It's not just a seasonal thing, I live dark and macabre all year round.

If you follow me on other areas of Social Media, you may well have seen that my SL Parents - Chopper Mosely, Louisa Zourric and Phedre DeMontreve - are now in the process of planning their wedding... That's right, Daddy put a ring on it and they are getting married in December...
There seems to be so much to do, but I'm taking a back seat and letting them plan everything. I just hope Daddy remembers that now he's given my Moms an awesome present, he has to give me one so that he's actually allowed to marry my Moms... They get a ring, I should get... I dunno a Car or something?!
The ideal scenario would play out that Daddy would say, "Hey Babygirl, I left something in the car in the garage, can you go get it for me please?" and after being a brattish child that I am, I'd go to the garage and there would be the ultimate "Can I marry your Moms?" gift...
Of course, it doesn't have to be a car... I mean there are lots and lots of other things that could work... Jewellery, Pets, a raise in my allowance?! All of these things will work wonders...
Just a note to anyone reading... I'm only joking here... Yes I'm a brat, but I would never expect gifts like this for something like them getting engaged. I'm so happy that my Dad finally found people who aren't the bad kinda crazies... Best gift of all is that I get two Moms that can take my side whenever Dad is being a butthead LOL...

BALLS BALLS BALLS... That's the best way to describe how I feel right now... I feel like BALLS! Instead of letting myself wallow in the feeling of bleh and unhappiness though I am turning that balls feeling into one of my favourite childhood memories. I used to love when I was able to play in a ball pit at the local indoor play yard when I was a kid. I'd dive right on in and hide until someone came in to drag me out!

Sundays are my favourite days for being lazy... Weekends are great that they come in days of 2, one for getting stuff done and having some fun, and a second for being a lazybutt before the perils of work the next day. I don't like doing anything on a Sunday, no chores, no crazy busy stuff, just relaxing... Breakfast on a tray, a good book, and well... that sounds like a perfect Lazy Sunday to me!
The book I'm reading at the moment - one called The Finisher by David Baldacci - is captivating my attention, meaning it's taking me far too long to write anything that makes sense today. Though I need to find just a few minutes to show you my gorgeous new furniture collection. The set is soon to be released, you have to wait until August 1st I'm afraid, so I'm just giving you a little taster of what's to come. It's a new release from Petite Mort for the upcoming round of The Gacha Garden called Modern Bungalow. It feels like the perfect set for a modern yet cosy country style home. Everything in the photo is included in the gacha collection besides the tray and the book, which are dust bunny releases, and the house, which is from Trompe Loeil, but they add just a little extra to my feeling of a lazy Sunday!

Today is the opening of the Rally to Rescue. An event, being run by our dear allies the Ghost Bullys MC, that will be aiming to raise awareness and donations for animal charities... A team of fab designers have joined forces to provide donations, and Racey - GBMC President and my kick butt Sister - has been working her butt off to ensure that this will be a brilliant event!
I'm excited to be a part of the team, there's some good stuff that is worth sharing with everyone that is even the tiniest bit interested, but before all the fun starts there are a few important things I need to do... WASHING THE DOG is one of them... I mean the event is about our furry friends, they have to look the part right?! Stars of the show and all that jazz...

Like sitting in the middle of the desert, except in Holland there's less dry heat and more take two steps and sweat your butt off heat!! You know me though, when something happens in RL, it seems to be amplified through Rudh and pictures are created, and that is exactly what happened today. I guess you could say it's a bit of a look of the day, but heat aside it was inspired by some AWESOME shoes...
These shoes are from Pure Poison, and they are the Arizona Sandals. I have to admit I have a bit of an addiction to cacti in RL, so when I saw these I had to have them... I added an adorable pair of anklets from Ama that you can grab now at Whimsical... BUT I have to admit they aren't that clear in the photo, so being good I've added the ad boards.

I'm working today, so as I'm sat behind the PC I thought that I might as well get in some blogging time. There's not much else that I can do really, and I LOVE having a chance to sit back and relax with a blog post.
Today I want to share something which comes from a surprising place, but truly works in such a versatile way... I'm talking about the darkness that comes from the ECLIPSE event, and using it in a way that's no where near dark or macabre, in fact it is the total opposite, and it really works! Helps me to think outside the box, and I hope that it would inspire people to do the same?!
So, as you can see it's nothing like my usual post would be for ECLIPSE. It's far too light and girlie, but I felt a little inspired to create something that would allow people to think outside the box, and just because the event is all about the darkness, doesn't mean it can only be used for darkness!
The ECLIPSE item that is behind all this would be the awesome shoes that Rudh is wearing, these are a release from lassitude & ennui - called Jezebel Sandals - and they come in a range of colours with gold or silver metal accents. Dressed in the right way they could be perfect for a dark, Lolita kinda look, but right now with this outfit they screamed pretty! I LOVE that they can be so versatile!!!
The photo was taken at the amazing Outer Gardens' new fairground location, and as with their other designs, it's super pretty and magical. I fell in love with the location, and it just seemed perfect for my pretty girlie look...

Packing is far harder for me than it should be. Some people make lists and are very sensible, others just stuff everything and anything into their suitcase, but even with both these options I ALWAYS find it hard to focus and end up getting distracted! Even right now I walked away from a half packed suitcase because Blogging is far more interesting and a lot less stressful!
Sometimes though it seems to be so difficult, I'm sure I'd have an easier time herding baby dinos!!!
LOL so much so that, that was exactly what I forced Rudh into doing!!! She set up a camp in the middle of the swamp - the camp is actually an awesome new release from DRD called "Wasteland Grub Hub", which you can get your hands on now until April 30th at Eclipse - and pretty soon the smells of all kinds of good foods cooking soon lured in the babies!

This week coming is the run up to Easter. Honestly, I could skip this holiday every year, it's a bit of a non-issue for me. Why can't it be Halloween yet?!

I woke up in a state of shock and panic this morning from a horrifying re-occurring dream that I've been having since I was 15, and to be honest with you, it's left me in a state of shock and sadness all day today. Not going to go into any details about the dream, it's far too personal, but rest assured it's not that nice...
So I needed something to do that would bring a smile to my face - normally when I'm down I make myself look dead, but that was far too close to the mark this morning - so I went with something bright and sunny, a picture full of Sunflowers!
Isn't this pose just gorgeous fun?! It brought a smile to my face as I was taking the picture, and soon I wasn't really focusing on the bad dreams, just on the bright sunny faces of these flowers. I'm such a sunflower fan in RL! I love having some on the table, and a few in the garden just to brighten up my space!
The pose I chose was actually one of the set that should be laying down, but I repositioned myself so I could stand with the flowers behind me - please don't be mad at me for doing so - yet I simply couldn't resist this pose set from Focus Poses! Such a gorgeous Sunny Sunday! I love the warmth of the sun at the moment - it's not too hot, just perfect the way that I love it. I'm definitely not a Summer girl but the warm gentle sunshine of the Spring makes me feel good. Plus, you might have noticed by now but I'm crazy about Spring Flowers.
I want to find a place where I can get lost like this in RL, somewhere quiet and happy, where I can hear the buzzing of the bees, the singing of the birds and smell nothing but grass and flowers as I frolic in the sunshine.

I love being a blogger, I love being a photographer more. I'm not by any means a professional and really consider it my hobby, even though I have some amazing stores that definitely honor me by allowing me to be a part of their blogging team. Yet despite that, sometimes I have to stop and think "this one isn't for a reason, this is just because I want to do something for me!" It's kinda like a therapy of sorts I guess. Today is one of those days! After a stressful day at work, there's no better way to relax!
I've come home, slipped into my comfy lounge wear - and yes thrown off my bra - now it's time to curl up with a good book and a cup of tea, snuggling down and avoiding the Hailstorm until bedtime! I'm going to be lazy, snoozy, until the moon comes up, just like the Magical little Rudh in her Sunrise Adria outfit - by Plastik, that's the Rudh wearing white on her knees sleeping on the lap of the moon Rudh by the way.
Snuggled up, cuddling the moon seems like the perfect place for a magical girl like Rudh to fall asleep, especially if she has a friend like Moon Rudh to cuddle. Moon Rudh twinkles gently - wearing a Sleepy Star Outfit by bonbon - and reassures the sleeping Sunrise Rudh, until their rolls are reversed and the sunrise soothes the night!
Just for the record, and because it is in fact the entire reason I randomly came up with this, I want to point out the pose used. It's a release by -Extra- but looking at it now you wouldn't think that it's actually one that's advertised with a slightly BDSM feel to it. It goes to show really well that a pose like "His Pet" can be used in more situations than just the one used to display the pose for the advert! I love this kind of versatility!!

Today I feel like celebrating the Spring just a little more, with another trip to Ostara's Altar.
This is all about the Wiccan - or perhaps Pagan - tradition of welcoming the Spring and all the changes that come with it, such as the new life, the new beginnings and even the general changes that the start of the year entails. Now I'm not a Wiccan, but I can fully get behind these kind of celebrations. It's great to celebrate change - even though I'll fully admit that it tends to bring out the anxiety in me!

The end of March has arrived, and even though spring has sprung, it seems to be heading into warmer weather and you know me, I'm not good when it gets HOT.

This item has been getting some major backlash on Facebook, and I have to say that love it or hate it, it's definitely getting some notoriety. I myself am not a fan of the idea of supporting Heroin addiction, BUT I will say that in a place like SL where people can do anything they choose to do - providing that it's not hurting someone else and is not something totally horrible like Pedophilia - items like this are just another aspect of a role play world. It happens in RL, and so naturally people may act it out in Second Life. The item is well made, and although I am not keen on the idea of heroin, the needle itself could contain ANYTHING! In my case, right now, I'm going to tell you it's a needle full of a potent sleeping drug, and because it's MY Role Play, then you'd have to just go with that and accept it. No one is forcing it on you, if you don't like it look away, but that's the beauty of toys in an imaginary world. One person says heroin, another says sleeping meds and depending on who is holding the toy at the time the outcome is varied! I'm not a fan of seeing "adult" women sucking pacifiers, so I don't do it, but that's not for me to say it's bad for everyone who does!
Anyway... Rant over!! OK... On to the rest of this last dip into Eclipse!
This dark little monster, the one that will be asleep soon thanks to my magical sleeping meds, is decorated in the Moloch Tattoo - of THIS IS WRONG - a design that takes half her face and both arms! She's strapped up, wearing only some tiny Pantsu Codex Panties - from CerberusXing - using straps from Insomnia Angel, and hopefully soon that will be the only insomniac thing about her...
Sleeping now until the new ECLIPSE, not long but long enough to feel re-energized, awakening just in time for April 13th when the new darkness will start!

Today is one of those gorgeous Spring days! I will always be an Autumn girl but I have to admit that Spring comes a very close second. All the life starting to appear, the flowers in bloom and the sounds of some very happy birds in the garden makes me feel like a very happy girl inside. I'm not really a fan of sunshine - when it get's too hot I get cranky lol - but Spring sunshine is warming and gentle and it feels nice on the skin after a long Winter of grey.
This month, until April 5th, we're celebrating the coming of the Spring with a special event dedicated to Ostara's Altar... Bring on the flowers, bring on the magic, bring on the new beginnings and the start of something beautiful!
The Ostara's Altar event is still up and running, bringing together some brilliant designers with a cacophony of colour, magic and femininity that welcomes the Spring season. I've been in love with so many pretty things, that the inner girlie girl has been screaming to come out...
Today I want to share with you some of the pretties!! Some of the pretties for accessorizing a Springtime goddess look!
Let's start with the biggest and most obvious item and work our way from there... The Amarillis Headpiece is one of two things in this picture by the store Zibska - the second being the awesome Aviva Eyemakeup which is a hunt prize for the event. Now pink is normally not my colour, but in this case I couldn't resist getting my pink on, especially when it combined with the vibrant blue of the eyeshadow. These colours were reflected well in the somewhat hidden but still available to see Moon Child Horns from Cubic Cherry - who also made the Nemi Eyes, which are the stores hunt prize! I let the colour flow through just a little more in the gorgeous Astara "Beauty Within" Collar and then spiced up the background with a little more pink in the form of Spyralle's Primrose Votive Petites.
For now, that's enough pink! Anymore and my friends will be checking my pulse to make sure I'm OK, but when Ostara calls for pink, Ostara calls for pink!

PAY DAY!!! It's my favourite time of the month, at least for the few moments when it feels like you're super rich until your bills are automatically deducted from your bank account. Until that time happens, you can feel like king of the world, able to buy lots of pretty things - although resisting is a key factor because well, you know that money will disappear and then if you don't have it, you're screwed!!!
For now though, I want to enjoy that feeling, the day after pay day... Like it's Dirty Money and I'm Filthy Rich!
I feel a little bit like a gangster moll in this picture... A doll of a mafia boss in some dark mafia run club where both the money and champagne flow!
Part of the reason that I get this feeling though may be due to the choice of dress I'm wearing. It's a little like a mullet, business in the front, party in the back and I will leave it up to you to try the dress just to see how short it is. I'm OK with it being this short but it might make others blush!!! It's a dress from 1313 Mockingbird Lane called Annabelle, which will still be available at Whore Couture until the end of the month.
I guess another reason for the mafia feeling has to be the money bags style pose I chose, it's a gift available from Reve Obscura called "One Moment"... Makes me feel all show offish and a little bit arrogant, and I guess that was what this post needed. Sometimes it's fun to play that kind of character, I wish I could channel more of that into my everyday life!

She's in mourning... The aftermath of the battle against the darkness smolders on the horizon, and in the breaking light of the dawn, the elven princess is handed the sword of her father. Lost to the battle against the evil that stalks the earth.Soon her mourning will be rudely interrupted as she's thrown into the charge of the court, but for now in the early morning light allow her moment of solitude and a song for the dead to remember her fallen father and brothers.
OK OK once again I got a little carried away when it came to writing the initial story for this, but I couldn't help it, the picture was one that I created and fell in love with the result of what I managed to kinda-sorta accidentally capture.
Surprisingly it actually started with the idea of this in mind, I never normally have an idea of what I want to do until I get lucky, but the combination of this gorgeous Valindra Dress and Vanyar Elven Jewelry Set from lassitude & ennui just seemed to fall into place with this idea. It helped that I'd picked up this amazing pose from Le Poppycock at the last round of Enchantment too.
Since you can only see the top half of the dress I decided to showcase the ad, along with the ad for the gorgeous dainty Mariella Rings by Ama - that are available until today at Cosmopolitan!
For the location, I HAVE to let you know, if you want somewhere gorgeous, elven and something that seems to come straight out of my Tolkein imaginings then you NEED to check out the Lost Unicorn. It was PERFECT!
