Today, Sunday June 30th, is the last day for Eclipse! I know, I know... Sad Face! It's also the closing of a chapter for the Eclipse Event as with the end of this round they are making some changes to the way it works... What those changes will be, we have to wait and see but it all sounds so very exciting - as well as a little sad! It's been an honour and great fun to work for this dark little event, that's proved 'October Never Dies'...
Now for one last post, I'm going to dip my toe into the water and wait to see what comes next for this dark, macabre little event. It's hot, and I think a swim would be lovely! The little dead doll in me is crying out to swim with the nice fishies!
This post-apocalyptic beach is the perfect place for a dead doll to spend her hot summer days, sitting on an old jetty that sticks out into the sea. Using an Acid Rain Lookout Post - from DRD - to shelter from the sun's heat she watches the fishies devouring some of their last meal.
I think though it must be something to do with her blood that drew in the sharks today, I mean she's got cuts all over, and the Savette Cami - from 1313 Mockingbird Lane - that she threw on over her bikini is looking a little threadbare!
Although you can't really see it in the main photo too, this living dead doll like to take a few risks... She's wearing her own mini anchor around her neck - the anchor comes from Ama, and would normally be perfect decoration but Rudh replaced the pretty decoration for a huge weight to help her sink!!! Since it's not so clear in the main photo then, oh yes, I've been a good girl and have added a close up!!!

It's SO Hot again today, but I'm lucky because school's out for summer break where I work in SL and that means I don't have to be stuck in the office whilst I melt.

So I promised two posts in a day, and well I've been on such a mermaid kick lately that I couldn't help myself taking the underwater route again today... What can I say, I love being a mermaid... Let's blame it on Ariel as she started it all, but why blame when we know that it's awesome to be a mermaid!!
Some how though, when I end up as a mermaid I seem to go pink?! It's not my fault it just seems to be a natural thing but why pink?!

It's early - well early-ish - for me on the first day of many lazy days off, and I think today I'm going to try and do more than one post to see what interesting things I can get up to... Gotta love dogs, aren't they wonderful when they behave like little buggers?! People say to me why don't you have kids, my answer is usually along the lines of my fur babies being bad enough LOL...
Still... COFFEE!!! I want a mug like the one in the picture in RL please, this is the perfect coffee cup for someone you don't know... I mean you can offer them milk and sugar or you can put it in their cup like this and they can decide... FIKA makes an excellent cup of coffee by the way, miles better than those coffee places like Starbucks!
Another plus side to drinking coffee at home is being able to smoke a blunt in your jammies!! I picked up some pre-rolled blunts from Junk Food, because I'm far too lazy to roll my own in the morning, and it makes for a great start to the day, lounging on the sofa with a coffee in one hand and a blunt in the other!

It's the weekend!!! I finally have some time to myself, and I've just been told some even better news in that I have the weekend off from my SL job - as well as ALL of next week!!! So this means only one thing... A LITTLE MORE RELAXATION TIME FOR ME!!! I'm going to party it up and have some fun for a change! Starting with a trip to The Beach in SL...
It's the perfect place for me to run around in my adorable, yet sexy, surfer girl style - RealEvil Industries - Sereia Bikini. It's a Gacha set, but the collection includes jewellery and if you're lucky you might get your hands on the RARE Bikini!!!
Now whilst I was running around on the beach enjoying myself, I noticed that people were starting to stare a little... I thought that it was because I looked so fabulous, but actually, and unknown to me, my mermaid scales were starting to appear a little translucently on my skin... It must have been a combination of the salt water and the sand... DAMMIT, no one is supposed to see those! THIS IS WRONG - although aren't they a pretty creation from the store for this month's round of ECLIPSE?! Subtle, and only available to see in the right lighting, these scales can be left white - as is the default on the maitreya body - or tinted. I loved them being white, my mermaid colour tends to change depending on my mood but in white they look translucent like they may or may not even be there... SO GORGEOUS!

It's been a very LONG hot few days here in the Netherlands, and I'm finally done having to go out into the world and get some work done. That's it though for this week, I'm done cheesing... It's now just a matter of getting home, eating something that's probably not the best thing for me and lounging around in front of the tv in my jammies!
I REALLY WANT JUNK FOOD! Have a massive craving for it, and I would LOVE a huge greasy burger with fries right now, but that's not gonna happen SO I guess Rudh will have to enjoy it for me!
She's a lucky bugger isn't she?! That burger looks DELICIOUS, and MMMM Fries!!! The burger is a release that I've had for the longest time and was waiting patiently to be able to devour - in the real world it would have gone off by now but thank you SL for no sell by dates on food LOL... It's such a hot and humid day here today... The earliest days of Summer have got me quaking in my boots. I'm not able to function most of the time it gets too hot, and for the next few months I think I'm stuck this way... Bear with me LOL...

It's officially Second Life's 16th Birthday... Happy Sweet 16 Second Life. Many people have different views about this SL universe, those that don't play think it's strange but those that are involved will often say they either love or hate it. We complain when it doesn't work, any time there's a problem the community comes together to rant on social media outlets like facebook. Yet with a platform like Second Life I'm still amazed at the creativity, the friendships and loves that come from a virtual - and some might say Non-real" - environment. Without this 16 year old "game" I wouldn't have met some of my favourite people - I owe my bestie, my hubby and even family to this online universe... Thank you Linden Labs for bringing us all together!
Now the theme of this year's birthday celebrations is dropping us very much into the 50's with lots of retro style and a good dash of rockabilly, so in true Rudh fashion I'm going to celebrate this my own way...
Yes I know it's not truly 1950's in style, and it's also not totally Rockabilly, but it's the way Rudh would interpret it, and well, that's good enough for me!
I found this amazing place with a 1950s & 1960s zone called Time Portal - that appears to cover everything from the Romans onwards - it looks like a really interesting place to explore as a travel through time, so I guarantee I'll be going back to investigate more! She even met Mr.Silent type there hehe!
The outfit though was the reason I went exploring, so I guess you could call it a look of the day?! I bought this crazy, but adorable, Susanne Skirt from ERSCH - that's available at Harajuku - and went to town accessorising... It's FRIDAY!!! That means that once again it's party time, and the fun of the weekend is here... I work over the weekends as with every weekend, but at least the time and atmosphere feels different. So today my RL parents left me after their albeit brief but busy visit, and I'm at that point of feeling a little lost and drained. What do I do in times like this? I turn to SL and look for a fun, and random, distraction and well, what better distraction than going to a beach to cool down on a warm Summers day.
I hate being hot in the summer, as a RL big girl it's not a nice feeling, BUT in SL stripping off and heading to The Beach is something that I'm more than happy to do...
Especially if I have a cute friend too, that I can ride the tide with!!
The bikini I chose to wear today is one from the Rally to Rescue, it's available from Sass - the event will be closing in the next two days, so you have a little bit more time to get in and shop and raise some money for Pitbulls and other animal rescues.

This month, June for those of you that are totally clueless, is also now days going by a different name... Pride Month! A time when rainbows dominate and people start drowning themselves in a myriad of colours. This is all in support of the LGBT community, and although not a part of it myself, I do have many friends and family that are, so I am 100% in support of Pride! It's a great message, even if you're not in the LGBT community, that would benefit the world if more people chose to live by it... Loving, Supporting and Accepting everyone for who we are, not what society tells us we are supposed to be!
Last night I was invited over to check out Second Pride, Second Life's Celebration of the Pride month, and it was so pretty and a lot of fun so this morning before I get caught up in my crazy busy day, I decided to sneak back over and take a quick snapshot... The energy coming out of Second Pride is awesome, it's full of love and it got me caught up like a leaf on the breeze, it was happy addictive!
Of course there had to be rainbows... Luckily AsteroidBox and Fika had some adorable little streaks of colour to give away as group gifts this month. AsteroidBox is flying the flags, Pride Flags, in all the colours you could want to support which ever faction of the LGBT community you choose! Fika has released a collection of things but I LOVE this little teapot purse. I've used one before in a previous post, but I was SO EXCITED to see that it has been released with rainbows for Pride Month!
Now just to warn you, there may be group joining fees in place, but these are low fees, and the group gifts are worth it, so I fully recommend joining both groups!

Saturday Morning when I was younger meant only ONE THING... Cartoons!! As a kid - like many other kids out there - I'd be getting up, grabbing some cereal and laying on the floor watching the same cartoons I'd seen replayed a thousand times on Nickelodeon.
Now that I'm older, it doesn't seem to be so much of thing that I'm able to do anymore, BUT there's always wishful thinking... Maybe next Saturday?!
Of course when Rudh watches Saturday Morning Cartoons, it's done with her usual dead girl flair... mostly because the cartoon that is about to start is ECLIPSE based. It was bound to be a little dark and macabre... although maybe not to the same extent as her Teddy Bear?
She's been good and pulled on some decent looking clothes that could be seen as floppy around the house clothes - although technically it's actually a Tank Top from Pretty Sexy Things at Rally to Rescue and a pair of Storybook pants - yet there's more than a couple of things from the new round of Eclipse too!
Her new earrings are a release by Spookshow called Diabolos. A set of earrings that may need modifying to fit your ears, but are very easy to make fit no matter the style of ears you wear. You may also notice those reddish looking scars on her cheeks - that's blood by the way - and it's a new makeup release, along with the adorable little Skull Ribbons, from The White Crow. Both of these things can be grabbed at the new round of the ECLIPSE... The Eclipse, so I'm told, will be changing soon too! A new Eclipse will appear once in the two months, and there are more changes to come too... Sounds exciting doesn't it, let's wait and see what the future brings, but for now enjoy the new Eclipse!

Extra, Extra... Read all about it! Today's News states that Rudhmellowen is tired in RL and plans to spend the summer in a reverse bear-like state, hibernating during the coming warm Summer months!
It's not really a scoop, I've been feeling tired for a while, but there's no rest of the wicked and I don't think that any time soon I'll be able to follow through with my hibernating plan...
Still makes for a cute idea... Selling newspapers will also help to fund my shopping habits I guess, but that's more work for me... Seems to be a re-occurring thing for me most of the time that!

Sundays are a magical time... The time of the week when it's still the weekend and it can be as much of a lazy day as you want it to be, but also there's that dread in the back of your mind as work looms on the horizon.
It's days like today when my mind slips into a fantasy place, and I start day dreaming... Today my dreams take me to a mystical elven kingdom, where the pretty elf maidens are in the process of preparing a delicious brunchfast for their elven king... On the menu this morning, freshly procured dragon eggs...
The elven warriors were sent on a mission to reclaim the White Gems of Lasgalen - yes it's a Hobbit reference, if you have no idea look it up LOL - but although the Dragon kept all of his precious hoard on this day, the warriors were lucky to escape with both their lives, and a delicacy fit for their king. Dragon Eggs are the BackBone of the Elven Speciality Delicacies, especially when the king has them brought to him by one of his scantily clad beauties.
For those of you wondering by the way, the outfit is actually a dress by Fetch - which I had to add my own panties to, just in case you're a little shy - called Sarella Gown, that I chose to wear with some Lassitude & Ennui Zornhau Boots. Both of these things, along with the Dragon Eggs, are available to pick up at The Final Winter - this event is based on Game of Thrones but even if you haven't seen it there are plenty of awesome and pretty goodies that can be used away from that context too!!!

It's Saturday, and after plenty of rest and a few good laughs with members of my Gator family last night I feel like I'm actually rested. I can handle the situations that were forced onto me in RL, and I will overcome the heartache but enough about that, I'm not going to spoil my happy mood... I feel like letting my hair down, drowning myself in colour and dancing around like a crazy person... That's exactly what I'm going to do!!! Bright colours... NEONS in fact!!!
For Rally to Rescue there have been lots of bright fun releases, but this dress is definitely topping the scale for the most colourful... It looks like it's been dipped in oil and it coloured in rainbow tones. It's a dress from Stargazer Creations and it's a donation item for the animal charities!
So, because of all the colours, I went totally overboard with the rest of the colours in the picture too.. Bright pink hair, some pretty head decorations and a rainbow puppy from Jian.
Also, something I want to point out is the adorable little heart tattoos that are on my face... They are little bits tattoos from FIKA, I love them I'm wearing them all the time... Take a look at the ad board and a close up, aren't they cute?!

Well, it's been a crazy busy week this week... There's been so much drama in the cheese shop and my RL friendships have taken a massive beating but right now I'm just tired. SO very tired. It's been physically, but even more mentally exhausting and I just want to sleep all weekend now.
As you can tell I'm even too sleepy to get Rudh to do anything right now, I'm just gonna let her sleep, while I "sleep" through my RL Friday!
Though, while she's sleeping there are a few things that need to be shared, so as I let sleeping dogs - or in this case cats - lie, I will just take a moment or two to point out the super awesomeness that needs sharing!
First take a look at the framed articles that she has up in her bedroom... On the left you can see the amazing Flamingo Print artwork from the DOUBLE 0s, and on the right some adorable pictures of our RL fur babies - Izzy the dog, and Anna the cat - in some awesome Yuca and Lola Frames from Belle Epoque. Both of these things are available at the awesome Rally to Rescue event, hosted by Ghost Bullys MC to raise awareness and funds for Animal Rescue charities, until June 20th!
Also, while you're looking, check out these amazeballs slippers from Violetility. They are a gacha release for the current round of The Arcade, and are one pair of a collection of Supernatural Slippers... It was so hard to decide which slippers I wanted to wear, they are all so cute and comfy, but well it's Cthulu how could I not choose these?!

I don't really have much time today, I will explain later when I have more time and can actually focus a little but right now I'm all over the place both mentally and physically! I did however, just make myself a cup of coffee and find a few minutes just to sit down and write a little something here - heaven knows I needed a chance to enjoy a little therapy lol - and so for this super speedy post I want to do something that's kinda like a little dedication to my SL Daddy - Chopper Mosely - who celebrated his RL Birthday on Monday!! SO, to honour him, I'm going a little bit Country!
I'm not normally a country girl, but for Daddy, it can happen once in a while! The things we do for our parents huh?! SL or RL, LOL!! Aside from being a country music fan, my dad has possibly - second to me I'd say - the biggest collection of animals in SL... Every time there is a Jian release we're chomping at the bit to get at it, yet I may have found a store that he would love called Teegle. It's full of animals including some adorable horses that are perfect for his country vibe - and I know this may get me killed by my Mommas, but to make Daddy happy it's worth the risk in sharing!
I discovered the Teegle horses at a little Horsey themed place called Rosewood Farms, and thought it was the perfect location to get my country girl on... LUCKILY I had just grabbed some brand new Watercolor Boho Tank Tops from Petite Mort that are available if you're willing to play the gacha machine for them in the Women Only Hunt until June 22nd. The 5 different designs are so pretty, I LOVE the feathers.
Anyway, this one was for you Daddy, so Happy Birthday... Unfortunately for me, RL is dragging me back kicking and screaming! Roll on the weekend!!!

For a while now I've been kinda sweetness and light, but there are just some days when a girl needs to let out her inner darkside, and today is one of those days for me... It's so hot here, I feel like I'm melting but I'm stuck behind a PC working so there's no rest of the wicked.
So I'm letting the Inner Dead Doll out to play for a bit, she can handle the heat considering her vacation home is in the depths of Hell... She's happy to be let out to smell the flowers...
The look in her eyes tells me that even she's finding it a little too hot though, and she's hiding in the dark hoping that her flowers don't wilt too fast... Suddenly though the sky is opening up and big drops of rain are falling... HEAVEN!!!

Today is the opening of the Rally to Rescue. An event, being run by our dear allies the Ghost Bullys MC, that will be aiming to raise awareness and donations for animal charities... A team of fab designers have joined forces to provide donations, and Racey - GBMC President and my kick butt Sister - has been working her butt off to ensure that this will be a brilliant event!
I'm excited to be a part of the team, there's some good stuff that is worth sharing with everyone that is even the tiniest bit interested, but before all the fun starts there are a few important things I need to do... WASHING THE DOG is one of them... I mean the event is about our furry friends, they have to look the part right?! Stars of the show and all that jazz...
Outside our old "Brownstone" - a backdrop from Image Essentials - with HellBone's new "Rescue" Bike parked in the front, as I set out the TOUCH MIA Puppy Love Bath set and dumped the dog into the suds. Hell's bike didn't stay shiny, new and clean for too long, the dog wouldn't sit still... The water went EVERYWHERE...
Finally though all the dogs were bathed and ready to strut into the event and help promote the shopping to everyone that wants to see...
