Heathen of the Neon Skies

I am sorry that I seem to be a little absent at the moment. RL has become something of a crazy nightmare as of late considering that my boss is away, and the only other person besides myself with any authority at work is off sick. I'm not able to give my SL much time at all, and I really hope that I can manage to get through the requirements of my blogging schedule this month. I'm going to have to be really good and keep track of things well... 
That aside though, my brain is both extremely sleepy, and my mind is wandering to random places stuck in the deepest corners of my mind. where the colours are bright and there's mystery in the lights...

A Little Neon Weirdo

Some people might be thinking it whenever they see my pictures, others may think it whenever they see me wandering around in world, but if you ask any of my friends they are more than likely to agree that it is absolutely true. I am more than willing to admit that I am more than a little weird, I am totally happy to admit that in fact. I'd rather be weird and somewhat silly, as opposed to being boring and stuck in a place without colours and sparkles and randomness... 

In the neon sunlight of a Vapor Sunset - a backdrop from Paparazzi - I've let the little weirdo in me come out to play. I love when the weirdo surfaces and hides from everyone in her day to day life... There ar so many different things that can spark my imagination and make the weirdo appear, one of my favourite ways to find the inner weirdo is to put a crazy outfit together in SL and let my weirdness shine... 
Today the little weirdo danced around in the Neon Light, dressed in a cloud of lime green sparkles and dancing Infernal Green Flame - from THIS IS WRONG - totally fluffy from her jacket - the vivid off-shoulder fur from Gabriel - to her fluffy Punished Devil horns - from KitCat - and decorated with glow sticks to light up the night...

Cupid of the Future

It seems like every year the holidays become more and more commercial, maybe I'm just being a grumpy old fart, but it seems like nowadays you can get everything and anything you want covered in hearts at this time of year... I find myself wondering, what a holiday like Valentines will be in the future... Will cupid grow up a little and become part cyborg, ready to spread a little futuristic lovin'? 

I would think that in the future, cupid might have become Cupids - or would that be Cupiden as a plural? - and there might even be female versions of the little angel... I know if there were, and it's the future they might be less baby-like, more adult in size, and armed with a brilliant new gun - like the UNA Cupid's Gun. Everything Valentine has gone much more high-tech to keep up with the times, and so from the Control Room - one of Synnergy's newer and most futuristic backdrops - they can keep tabs on all of the love arrows circling the world... 
Debating if someone should be struck with an arrow, should it be love or will it be heartbreak?! Life's big questions...

Looking Chic in the Toxic Glow

Things in the dark are often fun places that my wardrobe in SL tends to lead me to... I LOVE that I can play around with the darker looks and still on occasion, rock out like a Disney Princess... Yet, there are times when these worlds collide, and those times usually involve some kind of neon light!

At the High Base on the hill, I went to get the glow for my Neon... It needed a little extra toxicity to make it shine brightly aqua blue... What started with the addition of these Sigourney Boots, that can be found at the event based on a movie that made their namesake famous - although these boots are located in the 1313 Mockingbird Lane booth of Mainframe -  the subtle glowing tails on the thigh high boots, meant I needed to find the perfect neon dress and for that there's only one place... NORMANDY! So with boots like these, I needed the new Reckless Dress...

Do Cyborgs Cry?

 Do Cyborgs ever cry? I'm not all that clued up when it comes to Sci-Fi as a genre, and so things like cyborgs and robots are REALLY beyond my imagination. Yet I understand enough to know that they are programmed to be something akin to a human... If so, do they know how to feel anything? Maybe not emotions like love, but what about rage or sadness when they lose a part of their body as an example? Would they be able to cry? 

I'm such a wuss that I cry at everything, so I feel like a cyborg version of me should at least be able to cry, even if she did not understand her feelings... 
I mean if she was in a fight within a Hacked City - a backdrop from The Bearded Guy by the way - and she was being chased by a pair of Bunbun Robots - from MishMish at Collabor88 - that were not meant to be mad but, well.. the city has been hacked, and there was an accident that lost her her arm - like the Infinity Arms from PSYCHO.Byts at Mainframe Event until August 13th - I think she'd let the neon Crybaby - from Doe - tears roll down her cheeks...

Demons love a good Chassis Augmentation

Anyone who knows me, or has read anything or even has heard of me may well know that I am, and have been or the longest time, a Secretary for the Gators MC in SL, and have been married to HellBone who is a RL Biker for many years. So I guess I have a somewhat pressure built affinity for a good motorcycle. I notice them more in the street, and love the sweeping lines of the bikes that my hubby makes in SL... 
So for some reason today, the demon in me had been playing in the garage, and suddenly she spotted something red and shiny... This demon is a motor head, drinking toxic waste and getting her kicks with the big rumbling machines... 

The toxic waste in the corner of the garage was delicious for her demonic tastebuds... Recharging her inner core, giving her a little Chassis Augmentation - thanks to the amazing new body piece released by FIKA at the new Mainframe event - the inner workings glowing as they charge. 
She approaches the new bike that's been parked by it's handsome rider, it's a shiny red Red Bob Chopper - from Hogs & Cart Wheels that will be available soon at the new round of Necrosis - she cannot help herself but take a seat on the seat of her bike, enjoying the feeling of the rumbling of the machine as it calms down...

Apocalyptic-ish Ramblings!

When you're lost and alone, wandering the dusty streets of the post-apocalyptic you can head on down to Tralala's Diner to get yourself a delicious burger... It will help you with the desolation, the loneliness and the sadness, it will make you smile!!! 

Feeling a little less girly than I have been recently is definitely making me feeling somewhat happier though, I'm loving getting back into my dead doll roots a little bit, and well... Halloween isn't that far away! Today being a little post apocalyptic I've pulled on a mask - good in both world's for wearing one I am - and granted it's a little more dangerous looking in SL but that's the fault of PSYCHO.Byts with their Feral Gerd Masks - available now at ACCESS - and it's funny that my mask covers more than my Mug' top but that's also because of my Cyber Pasties from the MuggleBorn Mainframe! 

OH and one more thing that I want to point out, is the little red dot on my amazing Mug top... It's not actually a dot, it's a Boma Cola Bottle Cap Necklace that comes with some earrings and a tongue piercing - you can get your set too amongst the Desolation from Star Sugar!

Stuck in a Cyberpunk Capsule

Blogging for me is a form of therapy - it helps to clear my mind of the stuff I'm over thinking about and focus on something productive. I love the planning and creation of pictures, I love the time thought writing up something interesting. I LOVE more than anything when I can slip into a picture which I really enjoy - no matter if others agree - I will always create what I enjoy and if other people appreciate it then GREAT!
Sometimes though it's also fun to slip outside my comfort zone... Sci-Fi is one of those genres for me, since I've had a terrible phobia of aliens I tend to avoid the style just on the off chance but sometimes, things fall into your lap and you find yourself lost in space... 

I was running through the space station, and had to dive into a Cyberpunk Capsule - from MINIMAL - and tapped into a computer that's built into my Entropy Head Accessory - an Inner Demons release at Mainframe - my cyber implants - from PSYCHO.Byts - glowing just a little to warn me of incoming danger...
