Bonnie Chaos at Midnight

I'm at that stage now, where I don't know what to do but I don't really want to do anything... Yes it is apparently just me going through the grieving process but right now I feel somewhat useless and nothing I seem to try is working... I can't get into reading, knitting, decorating in RL or SL, and blogging therapy seems to be a non-starter too... There are so many fun things I could be doing... What am I doing? Doom-scrolling and staring into space... Everything I try seems to be going wrong!!

I NEED to find a way to turn my brain off, to stop myself from wallowing and yes, allow myself to grieve but allow myself to find strength and start finding my "normal" again... I'm dreading it!
Everything seems to be going wrong or turning to chaos and I'm NOT going to let myself drown in that... Think of the chaos that some people go through, real or imagined and things don't look so bad, I guess... 
I NEED a RL distraction for a bit... Something Dark, Mysterious and set in a Midnight Order perhaps... Something with gangsters and molls, something twisted and chaotic...

A Little Dane-ish Basketball!

Well it's a HOT day today... How can it legally be allowed to go from 12degrees centigrade to 27degrees centigrade in less than a week... We're experiencing Summer temperatures in MAY and last week it was freaking cold here... WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON? 
Since work was so crap today I NEED to find a way to let off a little steam tonight... I've decided to do something wild and crazy, I'm taking my puppies out for a little fun?!

Payback Can Hurt!

I'm in a bad mood, I'm wanting to kick some ass of some random people and that's all because recently some random woman decided to respond to the basic question "Can I help you?" with opinions of how I could do with losing weight and that because she'd done it maybe it would help me too... I didn't know this woman, I was asking a customer that came into the store if I could help her with anything and, frankly, she was lucky I was being polite because I was at work...
Really in my mind, I wanted to show her how her rude words affected me... I was pissed... 

I guess in my mind I kinda planned out all of the things that I could have said rather than the polite, but I'll admit Mrs Brown based "That's Nice", whilst the Rudhish side of me, like the little devil on my shoulder, wanted to go all Resident Evil and show her much weight she could afford to lose, starting with the rude tongue in her head...

In Need of Magic Spells!

Life really needs a little magic, getting news and dealing with all of the news that I've had over the last few months since the start of 2026, there's issues in the world, there's issues in MY world and I'm barely holding it together... I NEED a little magic... I don't want it, I NEED it and we all know there is a massive difference... I'm going to take matters into my own hands, and try to conjure something up... 

At this point I wish I could channel some of my inner Ursula, ya know the one that sings "Well I fortunately know a little magic, it's a talent that I always have possessed"... If you don't know, it's time to go watch a Disney film about a Little Mermaid... 
I know that my outfit is a little Witchy today, it's the fault of the dress and the amazing Vampyre Gloves - from Psycho Barbie - but when the magic was flowing from my fingers and Aetherlune reaction happened - the Aetherlune Jewels were released at the Magic Fair by Static and although the event has closed, they should be available at the mainstore - and the magic of the Crystal Cauldron started to glow... Midnight Order Militia

It's January 20th, and that means that today OFFICIALLY the Midnight Order is opening it's doors once again and welcoming the magical spark back into our Second Lives... There is so much going on in the world right now, and I think we need a little magic, a little spark that will make things seem a little better... There is so much going on in the world right now, and not just the wider world, my personal world is in chaos... I NEED to find a way to get myself some answers and calm my mind... I NEED someone to give me a little break... 

I am checking mysef into a cosy little place called Death Row for a while... It's not like the real place but it's a hotel that is themed and the bedrooms are supposed to be cozy, comfortable and padded... The people that mill around the corridors are dressed in a Sovereign Uniform Jacket and Hat - from Oracle, available until February 20th at Midnight Order - and gorgeously warm looking Borean Furs - from Static, also available at Midnight Order, and perfect with the Borean Gloves that match - and definitely rather sexy to make the stay seem daunting... 2025's Dumpster Fire

Well hello hello, welcome back after the Christmas festivities, and I hope that you had the most wonderful of Christmasses... I've been thoroughly spoilt and had enough books for at least a half year of reading... My reading total this year was 70ish and I had more than half of that for Christmas... Yet the year isn't over, we still have a few more days left of 2025 before the celebrationof New Year and that's where I will be getting off for a bit... I'm going to go home to see my parents...

2026 will be a massive year in my house... I am going to be celebrating my 40th birthday on March 19th, Hell and I will be moving to temporary accomodations from February15th as we have some MAJOR rennovations taking place in our home and there are so many things worrying me about that ranging from issues with builders and work being done to my poor little cat being stressed as we're moving from place to place, and my mother will begin her chemotherapy, but there will be more about that when I'm feeling strong enough to share the details.. Things will be insanely busy next year and I am thoroughly in need of a rest... I'm going to set fire to this dumpster full of 2025 garbage... A 2025 Dumpster Fire if you will - which in this case is actually a toy created by Junk Food for the current round of The Fifty and comes in a package as well as loose that can be rezzed... 
I'll send my love, hugs and well wishes for the end of 2025 and see you in 2026...

Another day in the festive period, another Christmassy look to try and find that festive feeling that I am craving so much... Of course I'm going to approach this in my way and there MAY be a little more of the darker, twisted Krampus side to some of my Christmas looks this year, but that's never a bad thing... A little darkness never hurt anyone, right?! 

Today we're doing some snooping around at Santa's place. There is a HUGE amount of rooms here, some with more Christmas decor than others, but you never know who you will meet as you wander the halls... 
We have bumped into someone who is a little bit of a superstar around here, she's one of the super 9, one of Santa's reindeer... Her name is Vixen for a reason, she's a kinky little deer but she's one of Santa's favourites at the North Pole...

Jewels From Junk!

It has been a long week already and today should have been my day off, and I ended up at work. Luckilly I have a day off on Wednesday so I get two weekends this week kinda sorta... 
I have so much to do in the house, I've been a little lax and needing some time to catch up... I do also want to let my mind wander off to things that aren't helping me feel better. My mum is on my mind, she's in hospital and I'm worried without being able to see her face to face... Hence why today I'm thinking about making something to make her smile... 

My mum is a jeweller, she has been one for about 50 years, and what started as a Saturday job at a local family jewellery store saw her getting a degree in gemology with a specialisation in diamonds... She's BRILLIANT at just looking at a gemstone and saying if it's real or not... 
I was rooting around in the house and randomly decided to become a bit of a Junk Jeweler - thanks to a set released by random.Matter at Salvage Station, that runs until November 30th - so I've pulled some of my junk out to make the things, I've lit a few Vintage Oil Candles - which are a gorgeous release from Candle & Cauldron at Enchanment by the way - and grabbed a box of Skeleton Grahams - from Junk Food - that I had left over from Halloween and along with my BitterSync - from AxisMundi - Robot buddies, I am going to learn how to make something gorgeous out of trash...

Come On, Play With Fire...

I am going to rant tonight about pet peeves because today people were getting on my nerves... I KNOW everyone has pet peeves, things that irritate them that other people do and I know that I may even be someone who irritates others around me but while working I've definitely developed a longer list of things that people that do that irritate the heck outta me... So let's discuss things shall we?! 

I've said it regularly that I work in retail tourism, but that would be in a cheese shop for those of you that are interested, and working in a setting like that you see so many things on a daily basis that make me wanna slap someone...
Firstly, one of the things is the way people act around free samples... Putting dirty hands into bowls of cheese after pushing the tongs used for picking them up out of the way, is just RUDE... Barging people out of the way just to get at the free samples, is just RUDE... Acting like free samples is anal you can eat buffet, is just RUDE... Though I think for me, one of the worst that I have to just shake my head and walk away from HAS to be the way people chew... Slapping their lips when they chew UGHHHH...
Don't even get me started on people that chew gum - which I am totally not against - and then rather thanputting the gum into the bin, they stick it under the table top or the nearest shelf... That's not just rude, that's a DICK MOVE!!!! If I see anyone doing that, they are playing with fire...

The Walk of Shame

Yesterday was my 19th Second Life Rez Day and that meant that she has now enterd the final year of her SL teens... That's a big scary thought... I've been in SL for nearly 2 decades... WHAT THE HECK where did time go???
Of course, being the typical teenager that she is, it was definitely a good reason to go out for a little party!!!

Now that a new day has begun, and in my neck of the woods almost finished, Rudh willbe suffering the consequences of her fun time out partying... When you get old it always seems to feel harder after a drink or two. Maybe that's just me but I aways end up feeling yucky the next morning, and hangovers definitely last a week or more LOL...
She made the walk of shame home this morning... The lights were just coming on in the houses as people were waking up to start their days... She´d decided that the hair of the dog was a good idea, carrying home with her a Wine Box of Pink Moscato - which is an Anthology release from Junk Food - that may or may not be leaking over her shoes... Just gotta hpe she can get home before HellBone wakes up...

Raise Hell Baby!

I've been in doubts whether to talk about this but I'm feeling emotional since seeing Ozzy Osbourne, and Black Sabbath's final concert on TV the other day. It's all over social media if you haven't seen it and it looks like the best concert ever... I wish I'd been able to be there... It looked like such a happy event, even though there was the saddest of undertones that it was the last ever time we will see Ozzy perform... 
It's woken up the darkness in me... The Prince of Darkness may be retiring but his legacy will forever live on... 

The dark little fallen angel in me had a tear in her eye on waking today and seeing a the amazing clips all over the internet... Seeing the Prince of Darkness on his elaborate throne, he seemed to be loving life although wishing he could jump around and rule the stage like he once had... 
I'm dressed and ready for a litte fun now that I've woken from my slumber, I've primped my wings, pulled on a party hat and grabbed a flask full of something naughty... Now that the Prince of Darkness has retired I think it'stime we raise a little hell...

Laundry Days Can Be Good Days!

Today is the last day that I will be home as the hubby's nurse, even though he is not healed and is still in a lot of pain I have only been able to have a week off to look after him and therefore... It's time to get ready for work again... I have a few things to get done around the house, but the one job that seems to be never ending is laundry... I have a mountain of laundry but it's one of those things you need a washing machine for, and since my washing machine had other ideas... 

The ball bearings are loose in my washing machine, luckily last month I had my holiday money and that means I have a little flexibility and only need to wait now for the delivery of my new washing machine. 
Until then I'm spending my evening in the local laundrette... There's no one here, it's too warm and most people around here have laundry facilities at home, so I'm here alone... I'm bored, and I think I'm going to be a little rebel and see just how good the vibrations of a drier can feel... 
The aftermath of the feeling is that it's the perfect time to ignore the signs and have a cheeky cigarette, I just hope it was as good for the machine as it was for me...

A "Hotel" Stay!

I know I've been complaining about work a lot lately, but I'm going to do it again because well... I can... If yout don't like it just take a look at my pretty picture today and I'll see you later... Otherwise I've been driven crazy enough by the visitors to my place of work that I'm done with daily life and have finally found the perfect place for a rest... 

I'm tired, mentally and physically - so much so that I can't even think straight enough to write and words like physically are a problem - but there won't be much of a respite. I get Sunday and Monday off but I NEED MORE TIME TO REST!!! I'm checking myself into an old boutique "hotel" I've discovered, it's called the "Asylum for Criminally Insane Women"... I don't think I've done anything criminal, but perhaps if you could see the things I think about certain customers, maybe you'd disagree... Plus I've heard they have excellent padding to keep rooms nice and cosy, and damped the sound of aggrivated screams...

Have A Nice Day...

Finally I've had a day off, and it seems like it was a blink and I missed it situation. There was drama that my hubby has now taken over sorting out, and all I seemed to do was laundry. I didn't even get a chance to finish my book like I had planned to... I just need more of a break... I need more time to relax... I need a break! 

I LOVE my job, sometimes we get to meet the nicest people and have fun doing so. The company I work for is brilliant and we're all treated like a member of the family in a family business... Then there are the customers that make me really question people and their way of living... Sometimes I wonder if Corona actually happened, or did I imagine it considering the way that people eat the samples I've set out. There is definitely a lack of manners and respect in some people, that's not restricted to age, sex, race or culture. There are horrible people from everywhere you can imagine... 
The worst part of all of this, is I have to be polite and welcoming and wish them a pleasant day rather than being able to wish them the kind of day they deserve... Since I've been such a good girl, not thinking of ways to murder everyone I think I deserve a bit of a break...

Rats in the Tunnels

April is here, Spring has officially started to spring, and there's something weird going on in Amsterdam where the people are causing dangerous chaos. In the last week there have been two major incidents and things are getting a little scary even in the middle of the day now... Things are changing, we seem to be heading down a bad road, maybe it's towards war, maybe the apocalypse is coming, whatever happens it doesn't feel like it's going to be good? 
Of course, when I think of the Apocalypse, my mind wonders and the fantasy begins... People evolve, situations change and because my mind drifted... I'm slipping into a fantasy world...

Getting Dirty

It's been a busy few days since I've been back in the Netherlands but that may be because I've been back at work and it's been crazy busy... The high season is coming and people seem to be making an appearance within the city... I'm tired and sore but my mind is happy that I was able to get back to work, AND that tomorrow I get to have a lovely day off... 

I love my job, sometimes it's hard work but it's a job that has lovely colleagues and a usually happy public that I can entertain... Sometimes I want to murder a few people, and there are always people that think they know better but it's job that I go out and do, that pays my bills, gets me to meet a variety of random and interesting people and COME ONE, it's CHEESE!! Rudh likes getting dirty in other ways, but even she needs to admit that sometimes it's good getting her hands dirty...

It's the month of Love and even though I'm happily married with a grumpy old bugger as my RL - he's my SL too and someone I love more than I'll ever admit to - we're not the romantic type... Our date nights, which seem to be few and far between are never cute or sweet, they usuall involve us looking around weird museum exhibits or the zoo or at loud music events, and I'll never complain about that... I'll even happily share our engagement story which was a HUGE surprise and one he has to compete with any time he buys me a gift LOL... Yet I can't help feel like the romance may be missing at times... 

I guess I'm living my romance needs vicariously at the moment through the books I'm reading, although they are a little darker than your average romantic heroine needing to be rescued... 
At the Retro Diner, the waitresses like to assist with all things romantic, if and when they happen... Dressed in their Paris Uniforms - from littlefox and with a hat from hive all part of a set released in combination with the amazing Fast Food Set Tray from Junk Food - they will assist with anything that they can, including in this case a rather unusual Unconventional Proposals - like the one from Hangry - with the ring hidding in the Nuggets...

Smoke Break in the Alley

I have been wracking my brain, trying to think of new and different ways to relax... I read a LOT, I spend time taking pictures, I knit and crochet, and I have recently restarted my scrap booking journal again. I want something new, something interesting and I feel like I need to find something new... SOMEONE GIVE ME AN IDEA... SOMEONE GIVE ME SOMETHING FUN TO DO... 

If I don't find something to do, my mind can wander to dark and twisted places. I read some of the darkest, smuttiest works of fiction. The one I just finished will not be leaving my brain for a little while, but that doesn't mean I'm willing to enact them... I'm tempted in SL, but the hubby is far too vanilla for that lol... Maybe finding a Sugar Daddy?!

I'll sneak out the back of the club to have a momentary smoke break, hiding in the shadows, until I feel brave enough. I look fierce and ready to find someone to play with, but that makes me nervous, and a girl needs time to clam her nerves...

Time for some Christmas Chaos

I've been making pretty festives lately, and I love the pretties that come with this time of year... I will admit that the darker and more twisted side of me is not happy though, and I'm fighting back the thoughts of not committing murder tomorrow as I work in retail for the next coupe of days... Missing You

I know sometimes I'm random and I'm a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions, but I made a RL mistrake today and it's hurt me and I feel a need to get it out and talk to someone. I don't wanna burden my hubby with it, and my family and friends are all busy so why not vent here and let it out this way, maybe someone out there can relate... 
It's getting closer to Christmas... This Christmas will be my first without my puppy Izzy, and even though we lost her in February, I caught myself about to buy her something as a gift for Christmas this morning...

I know it seems like a silly thing, I was buying a gift for my kitty... Anna has become so used tobeing the Queen of the house, but I spotted something so adorable for the puppy that I ALMOST bought it before I remembered that Izzy will be eating her Christmas Turkey with other pets from my past... It brought a tear to my eyes, and I fought hard not to let the hubby see...
Needed to find a way to get it out of my system. I miss her so much, and even though there is NO PLAN to get a new Dog anytime soon - I love the freedom that I have without her being here - I can't stop myself from missing her... I had to find somewhere peaceful, to curl up with a cool drink and my memories, I needed to think of her and have a good cry to get over things...
