Back Alley Apocalyptic Chic

There is nothing better than putting on an outfit and realizing that it's starting to come together with the mental image in my mind that is makes me super happy... Sometimes working on something to blog can be a little trying, I never know where I will be able to go with an idea, I may start with the smallest of items and then suddenly, as I've mentioned before, the snowball rolls down the hill and I end up creating something that makes me smile... Today the starting point was a spiky baseball bat, and the cutest of stripy skirts... All leading to a healthy dose of Back Alley Apocalypse Chic...

Down the back alley, hiding away from anyone that could be out to cause her harm, she's parked her Scrappy Scooter - from DRD - to give herself and her Rottweiler buddy a chance to have a moment to catch a breath... Bruised and bleeding, bandaging her wounds, she's prepared to go to battle with her "Very Pointy Bat" - from Junk Food - and there is even a spare one for anyone who cares to join her fight...

Sitting Pretty in the Garage

Sometimes when I get the chance to sit and plan a blog post there is nothing that really springs to mind as to what I want to do... I have so much to do, the Midnight Order event opens today and I have a LOT of amazing new things coming that I can't wait to share, but for today I ran out of time, and I NEEDED to find something that could be quick and fun and show off my amazing sense of style... Instead of something that takes lots and lots of time to set up, I decided on a cute fun photoshoot for a little Look-of-the-Day... 

I am in LOVE with this outfit, it's one of those that I have been wearing on and off for a few days... These Agnes Pants - from AsteroidBox at Equal10 - look PERFECT with the amazing Riku Boots - from Breathe - as the dots on the pants look so close to the Riku Spikes. The rest of the most amazing outfit just all seemed to fit together so perfectly, and when I went to try and find the perfect place to pose, I didn't make it past the Warehouse - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - where the cars are parked because it just seemed so cool and the perfect backdrop for my Look-of-the-Day...

Hairy Hare Pirates!

Hair Fair 2022 has started, in fact it's been open for a while now, and there are lots of hairy reasons to pop in for a visit. Hair Fair is a very long standing event in SL now, every year they raise money and awareness for a charity that provides support and happiness for children in need... Wigs for Kids is a charity that creates wigs for children who have lost their hair through illness, providing these kids with a boost of confidence and happiness, something that is very much needed in the world...
This year however, there are also PIRATES... The Hare Fair Hares have become a pirate crew and they are on land in search of hairy treasures... 

Hair Fair this year seems to have been met with mixed reactions from the SL shopping community, but one thing remains the same. There is something for everyone, to meet any budget - be it freebie gifts, exclusive releases from a variety of different designers and even the bandanas, which in years gone by were brilliant for shopping in a laggy, chaotic place. Some of the bigger SL hair designers were not present, but that doesn't matter, there are lots of new designers to find showing off their wares, and I know that I managed to find 4 or 5 styles that I love! 
Whilst there though I also fell in love with the cutest pirate crew, made up exclusively of the Hair Fair Hares, that is until I got myself into the crew, and became the new captain... They loved my hair, which I'd just had done at the Exile booth - who made 25% donation to the cause from any of the purchase sales made, Exile can be found in the Foils Sim of the event.

Tonight I'm Going Out!!

I'm posting reeaaaallllllyyyyy early for me today, since tonight, for the first time since I had my scary operation at Christmas, I will be going out for some real fun. Tonight it's all about the live music, and I cannot wait to let my hair down as I go to party at the Five Finger Death Punch concert!! I'm super excited, but also extremely nervous too... I haven't been out like this since before Corona struck... 

Before I get nervous and chicken out, I should get ready. My stomach is in knots, even though I REALLY want to go... 
I wish it was easier, like it is in SL... Rudh will always be ready to go, wandering down the stairs primped and preened and perfect looking. This time the stairs she's decided slowly pose on as she comes down the stairs in a gorgeous Oubliette Tish Dress, looking every bit a dark fairytale princess, which is made to look even more pretty because of the gorgeous wallpaper in the Art Deco staircase - a backdrop by FOXCITY by the way!

The Disposal of a Body

Things have been strange for the past couple of weeks... I know that there have been worse things in the world but I'm kinda falling into a black hole. In the past week, I've lost two people as the Grim Reaper took them away across the River Styx... 
I'm half asleep on the sofa this evening, and I can't stop thinking about these people. One was family, the other was more like family than the first, but neither were people that really deserved it. I'd never wish death on anyone, but there are definitely people that deserve the pain of loss more. 
I'm in such a weird mood, I am frustrated and moody, I don't want to be around people, but I need a hug. Don't mess with me this week, it's probably the best advice that I can give... 

Honestly I don't mean to appear mean and moody today... I'm sorry for anyone that gets in my way but I'm in such a mood I could go on a murder rampage. 
I know the perfect place to throw a bagged body over a bridge, if you head out into the middle of the wilderness you'll get to the Overpass - a gorgeous backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - I'd recommend a sturdy vehicle, like a H&C Wheels Truck - the Reverence for example - as the rods get a little rough...

Splat into a Tree

 After a long hard day in RL, I feel like I've been run over by a bus... It was so busy and people are so rude, all I wanted to do was come home and chillax... My body is in pain, even though I know that I shouldn't complain because it's only due to working and the pain will fade, but right now I feel like I've been hit by a bus LOL... 
Still least it's a better reason than why Rudh is in pain... Her reason is a little more silly, and actually a lot more funny... 

She was out riding her brand new Witches Broom around the garden, when suddenly while distracted she flew straight into a tree - thanks to a pose from DPSP called "Clumsy Witch" - it was all the fault of HellBone who distracted her... But what's worse is that the cat decided to bail rather than check she was ok LOL...

Home before Dawn

 Remembering back to when I was a teenager, I am suddenly reminded of how it felt to try to sneak into the house when I got home really late from a party... I never had a curfew or anything like that, but if I was out past 2AM, things could get a little sneaky, and somehow the cat always managed to end up making enough noise to wake the dead... 
Now I'm older, and living like an adult in my own home, I don't have that problem. Though my cat does share similar attributes and makes enough noise to wake the dead... When you're a normal person, that's only a metaphor, but when you're a demon like me, well... then it becomes a problem LOL... 

Now OK these poor little dead bodies are trapped in the walls, maybe they are just desperately trying to get out, but whenever I come home they seem to want all the attention... 
I LOVE this outfit though, it's one of those that I'd never have been brave enough to wear in RL let alone try to go out in LOL... Nevertheless, the Demon in me chose this outfit, and I definitely wore it well... It's an amazing outfit from Eclipse Design called "Alma", and I teamed it with a pair of thigh high strappy boots from [Breathe], for what could be one of my favourite outfits!! 
OH and one more thing that you need to check out, maybe a little more clearly than I've shown them - and I really hope I don't get into trouble for - is the amazing "Villain Claws" - from Six Feet Under. They are just the cutest claw jewellery that I've seen in a long time... I've added the ad to show them more clearly!!

Taking a Peek

I am having one of those lovely fairly lazy weekends and I'm hoping that Christmas will mean that work gets a little more crazy this week. For now I'm just doing a little gentle shopping in Secondlife, preparing gifts for friends and family, wandering around the shops at Rosa Scotia and making a list of pretty things. That was until I wandered past the bakery... I had to double back and take a little peek in the window!

In real life I cannot walk past a bakery without holding my breath, just the smell of the freshly baked goodies makes me pile on the pounds. The delicious things smell so good, and I cannot help myself so I've learnt to hold my breath and avert my eyes... In SL looking in the window doen't hurt and I may even pop into the bakery and pick myself up some fresh bread.

Summoning the Demons

There's been so much drawing on the magic of the Halloween season already this month but with every day there is more and more to see, do and explore... I LOVE this time of year for all the dressing up and play time and dark twistedness that I can play around with... 
Today I decided that I wanted to do something more to bring the Halloween Horrors to life, draw the darkness out to play... Time to start making sacrifices in Hell... 

On the altar in Hell, Rudh is offering herself up to the darkness... A sacrifice for the Gods of the underworld... Happy Birthday Necrosis!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY - or should that be Anniversary - to the little corner of darkness that is NECROSIS! It's such an honour to be able to say that the way this team has grown and supports each and every member, the way that we're a shady little dark place in the bright colours of SL, and the fact that the masterminds behind it all - Guen Gothly and Asbjorn Raven - have nurtured Necrosis into a pretty awesome little dark corner... So it's time for a little Birthday Party... 

Who doesn't love a good party! I LOVE decorating and making things look pretty, and well it's so easy to make a great location with all of the goodies available at Necrosis. After riding to the cemetery on the new Necride - from my Hubby's store Hogs & Cart Wheels - and started decorating with some awesome goodies like the Dahmar Cooler - from Black Jack Speed Shop - and some awesome decorations from Lilith's Den including the amazing cakes!!!

A New Queen of Wonderland!

Today I'm blogging a little early, as I'm heading off into a wonderland of live music that I'm VERY excited about later - it's Five Finger Death Punch if you're wondering ladies and gentlemen - but I couldn't leave without allowing Rudh the chance to slip off into her own little Wonderland! By her own, I kinda mean she's going to be doing a take over of someone else's LOL... Alice's in fact, because what Wonderland would she want other than the REAL wonderland. 
She's about to invade one of the Mad Hatter's Tea Parties in the Storybook Forest, and in true Rudh style, she's going to look fabulous whilst doing so! 

Aside from the fact that she has a thing for looking fab, this cannot all be put down to Rudh... The amazing Queen of Hearts outfit is actually from the 1313 Mockingbird Lane Epiphany gacha collection, and everything that she's wearing - shoes from Breathe, and wig from Exile not included - come from this collection. Even the amazing Flamingo Croquet Mallet is an exclusive for the Epiphany - the kind you will get for trading 25 points for! 
One last thing to mention, before she sits down and starts scoffing cake is I felt it might be a good idea to include a little close up... The tiara for the collection is adorned with hearts and playing cards, BUT more than that, she has this sweet little Cheeky Word - a current group gift from FIKA by the way - carved into her lip, so EVERYONE has no doubt as to who she is!!! Otherwise, it's OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!!

Dumped & Abandoned

At the beginning of the year a lot of people will often make changes in their life that they have been holding back on... For some that means the start of a rigorous exercise regime or a new diet, others will take on a new career or welcome a new pet into the family and for some, the perhaps unlucky few, they will find that the relationships they've been stuck in are suddenly over... 
In this case, Rudh found herself abandoned at the local train station, her few belongings that she wanted to take with her in cases by her feet. The last night of rough housing scarred forever into her thigh, and the look of a rough night on her face... 

The most important of her possessions are in her handbag - a "Don't Watch My Bag" from Tentacio - that she's having to carry in her right hand since any brushing against the Mystic Thigh Carving - from Fika - on her left leg sends a sharp pain through her body. His pet name "Poppet" will be left as a permanent scar, a permanent reminder of the fun they had before he dropped her off and left her to fend for herself.

It's looking a lot like Rain, Dear!

One of my favourite jokes for Christmas time, is when you see someone looking out of the window as Santa flies by on his sleigh, and they utter the words "It looks like Rain, Dear!" It's a silly old joke, one that my Grandfather used to do every year, but it still makes me smile as I think of it! 
So, because of this, every year I try to do something reindeer related so I can tell people, look it's Rain Dear! 

This year I got EXTREMELY lucky when it came to Reindeer because not only did Jian set their Reindeer collection up for the Saturday Sale at a whopping discount for only 75L, but also 1313 MockingBird Lane, made an amazeballs gacha collection for the new round of The Epiphany called Blitzen! Not sure Blitzen is the right deer for this outfit though, it's a lot of that naughty little Vixen hehe...

Uh oh... Daddy's gone away and left the toy closet door open... Whatever will a good little girl like me do... Oh who am I kidding, there's nothing good little girl about me. We all know that as it's Rudh standing there, I'd be reaching into that cabinet and taking a few things to enjoy. I'd probably end up in a lot of trouble for it, but that's what I do!! 
It's Daddy's fault for leaving the toy cabinet open... Right? 

I'm so in love with this cabinet it's just awesome, stuffed full of all the toys that a girl like me could possibly want. Who needs Santa when Daddy has a toy closet like this?!

Morning, it's Time for Bed!

Today is one of those days... The kinda day you feel like hiding and not coming out, yet you force yourself to keep going no matter what. Nothing seems to be going right, I feel like I'm coming down with my second cold of the season ALREADY and I just want to sleep more than anything else. Yet I'm trying to be good, I'm trying to keep moving and hoping that there is a spark somewhere that livens things up?!

She's been out partying to try and liven things up, and apparently is having to do the walk of shame down a seedy hotel corridor as the cleaning staff start their morning rounds.

I got in from work today and I'm feeling pretty worn out, though I'm not sure why, maybe it's something to do with my cold?! Yet I'm feeling drained and could use a long nap lol, maybe like a long nap[ overnight?! Is it too early to go to bed yet?! 
Rudh seems to have passed out too, on a brand new hotel bed, but I'm not sure it's for the same reason that I'm tired?! Seems like she got into the hotel room, and couldn't open her suitcase fast enough, needing some relief before she slept... 

Looks like she ripped her suitcase open with a knife - perhaps the one held in her garter?!  
Her destroyed suitcase laying torn open on the bed, revealing that her holiday packing did not actually include clothes, but a rather large collection of Travel Toys from Cult. 
The bed is a brand new one that's created by Violetility for the new round of RLD... It's a Hotel Hookup Bed, and although Rudh isn't hooking up with anyone she's had LOTS of fun in the hotel LOL...
