In Need of Magic Spells!

Life really needs a little magic, getting news and dealing with all of the news that I've had over the last few months since the start of 2026, there's issues in the world, there's issues in MY world and I'm barely holding it together... I NEED a little magic... I don't want it, I NEED it and we all know there is a massive difference... I'm going to take matters into my own hands, and try to conjure something up... 

At this point I wish I could channel some of my inner Ursula, ya know the one that sings "Well I fortunately know a little magic, it's a talent that I always have possessed"... If you don't know, it's time to go watch a Disney film about a Little Mermaid... 
I know that my outfit is a little Witchy today, it's the fault of the dress and the amazing Vampyre Gloves - from Psycho Barbie - but when the magic was flowing from my fingers and Aetherlune reaction happened - the Aetherlune Jewels were released at the Magic Fair by Static and although the event has closed, they should be available at the mainstore - and the magic of the Crystal Cauldron started to glow... Let's hope that this helps...

The Future Of Self-Preservation!

Do you ever stop and think about the future? I am not the kinda girl that enjoys any form of Science Fiction, be that in movies or books, but the hubby really loves Star Wars... I think back to pictures of history that we've seen where they say in 2025 we'd be driving flying cars, and Back to the Future had so many gadgets that would be handy but are non-existant... I wonder will humans look different, they already warn about changes caused by technological influences like smart phones... But wouldn't it be better to be something more interesting... 

I'd like to think that we mutate into something a little cooler... Adding some Cyborg parts to make sure the human body runs smoothly, but like I've said they talk about Smart Phone hands and App watching neck with a hump since we spend so long looking down at phones and tablets, but I was hopeing maybe for more eyes or something so that I can see better and don't have to wear glasses any more. I know I could wear contacts but I cannot stick my fingers in my eyes... 
As for protection though, I'd stick with the old school methods... Like they say, if it aint broke, don't fix it...

The Tickles of a Ghostmage

The doors have opened, and the Midnight Order is here to release their magic onto the SL world for just a little while. There has been a sudden surge in magic since the doors have opened... Anyone with even the slightest hint of magical aura is already aware of it's presence. It's not just the living spirits that are able to enjoy the feeling, the dead are riding and on their way too...

That magic wakes the dead with gently tickling of some Ghostmage Hands - available from Aii at the round of Midnight Order that runs from today until February 20th - over their bare skin. Magically Painting Poinsettias

When you think of Christmas decor, what comes to mind? Fairy lights, tinsel, baubles perhaps? What about natural things? A Christmas Tree, Holly, Mistletoe? I love all of those things but something my mum always loved to have around the house when we were kids, and even now, is a Poinsettia. Normally in a gorgeous shade of festive red, but sometimes in white, there was always one decorating our home at Christmas time... 
Did you know though there is a magical being that is tasked to paint the leaves that brilliant shade of red??

There is a Nature Spirit - with a head from BeSpoke - that is a wizened old fae who has travelled across the world from its home lands in the deciduous tropical forests of Mexico and South America, which coincidentally is where Poinsettia originate from, to paint the leaves of the plant of purity in a vivid shade of Red... They also help to keep them alive and looking gorgeous in the wintery cold...

Home to the Laundry!

I'M BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK... Didyamissme? I'm not sure many people will have, or did or do, but I'm happy to be home although I'd much rather not be thinking about going back to work next week... Work is such a rude word, and I admit I love my job but would prefer it if there were a lot less people... 
I'm back home though, and I'm ready to rock and roll once more. It was a lovely trip, some family issues aside, and even though I'm ready to run home at a moment's notice right now, I'm glad to allow things to get back to normal... 

One of the biggest problems with going away on vacation is that you always have so much to do when you get back, and some how it seems worse than the cleaning and organizing that you have to do before you go... I'm not talking about cleaning so much but there always seems to be a small mountain of laundry, and even though it's one of those jobs that are less crappy than others, why does vacation laundry always feel like a massive mountain to climb?! 
Wouldn't it be lovely if there was some magical assistance that would help you with those mountains?! I'd love to have myself some Lil Witches - like the ones from Tardfish - that could sort, clean, and then iron my laundry, if they could fold and put it away too I'd be even more appreciative... Since I don't have any helpers, I guess I'll have to do these things alone but maybe someday it might be a thing we all have... A little laundry witch!

Rainbow Space Race

Holidays seem to bring out the best in my mood... I've only "officially" been on holiday since this morning, but my boss got home and we did a hand over and NOW I CAN FINALLY RELAX... 
It's bringing out the bright, sparkly, colourful, vibrance in me. It may be freaking hot here at the moment, but it's going to be a lovely few days and then on Wednesday I'm leaving to see my parents... I CANNOT WAIT!!! 
Until then I'm letting the colourful, sparkles take their hold on me and we're heding toward the finish line of being stuck doing work-like things... 

 

So yes, the colourfulness in me has burst out in a shower of rainbow sparkles and magic... I felt giddy as I saw the finish-line in the intergalatci race between the rainbow lit planets - the collection is actually from the Space Splashdown set, created by MadPea for the current round of equal10, and is perfect for a summery space party...
A race like this was bound to be won by the space babe, and even though she HATES Aliens, today she's been accompanied her favourite Fuzzy Noodles - from Sakura - but even though she made it to the finish line, our space babe missed the rocket as it launched to the next planet in the space race...

Moonlight Glow of a Galaxy Demon

There are times when I get more than a little excited over an outfit that leads to a brilliantly, brightly, sparkly wondful new character who will take up residence in my brain until I'm able to bring her out and show her to the world... Today is one of those days when someone gets to shine... 
She's a spiritual demonic being, she sparkles in the moonlight as she holds the moon in the palms of her hand...

Her outfit is other worldly, a dress with a vintage retro spacegirl style - thanks to the gorgeous Dita Dress from PSYCHO.Byts - and since she's holding the moon in her hands the stars are drawn to her like moths to a flame... She glitters, her aura sparkles and the moonlight gives her a lumious aura. The light radiates from her mottled purple skin, and the stars as they shine tickle making her tail twitch - the body paint, the tail and the halo of purple moons are part of the set from Forest Fantasy Store called "Galaxy Demon"...

Hoops of Rainbow Colours

When life is dark and somewhat monotonous, it is at that moment we must try our hardest to find the sparkle and bring some light to our own boring day-to-day routine... There are so many ways that I LOVE to relax, unwind and recharge my rainbow sparkles. I am very much back into reading these days - smut and violence dark romances I admit, but it still gets me feeling good - I am crocheting a blanket of old scraps of wool and when I do get into Second Life, I'm currently on a creative wave - athough I'm not sure how long it will last...

It feels easier to let Rudh find our inner sparkle as there's always another personality lurking somewhere beneath the surface... Neon comes pouring out of her today and once it glows, she sparkles... Colours of the briliantly bright surroundings lighting up her skin. Snowflake Magic

Why is it that snow always feels so magical? It's like the swirling, sparkles of magic that slowly drift away after the magic has been cast... It always seems to make me think of fairies, of fairytale magic and of those stories that cause the imagination to run riot... That's why, snow seems to pull out the inner fairy in  me... 

The Snow Fae that seems to be luring my mind into her dark little dance, to watch whilst she creates the most intricate little sparkles... 
She may be dancing in the snow, but she wears no clothing causing frost bite to rip through her extremeties... All while things get a little Frosty... The snowflakes and ice sparkle in the moonlight, and hopefully the magic will last a little longer...

Glitches in the Light

I had a long hard day at the academy they send us to for assistant manager training today and there is so much information buzzing around in my head that I am having trouble focusing... It's like my brain keeps glitching right now, though that could have a few alternative reasons as to why... 
The glitching idea though has definitely been a factor when it came to planning a photo for today's blogging session... My mind kept glitching, and I ended up becoming the cutest of glitching cyborgs... 

I'd had the weirdest dream last night which I guess played a part in both my brain glitches and the reason that I'm in a room urrounded by monsters in cryogen tubes that we're working to extract the DNA from... The chamber, and the pods - both of which are Celeste creations - are kept dark and calm so as not to rouse the sleeping monsters, but I have to be careful, my glitches could mess everything up...

Kitsune on the Moon

Like a lot of places in Europe, the Netherlands has been extremely hot this week and it looks like it could be here a little while longer. It's holiding back that Autumn feeling and letting the summer stick around at least a week took long, and I'm done with this weathers frankly... 
There are signs however, that Autumn and Winter are heading on in, days seem to be rapidly getting shorter and I love the darkness in the evenings. One plus to it being so hot at the moment is that the skies are still pretty clear, and it gives a perfect opportunity to see the skies lit with stars... 

You know me by now, you should know how much I love magic, how much I love the stars and how magical things can feel... I'd put together an amazing look that I was in love with, and that had a little magic since I'd found an outfit with a little Kitsunishness... I LOVE this AsteroidBox Eline Bodysuit, and for some reason I just couldn't stop thinking about how cute it was when I paired it with Stoic's Kitsune Parts... 
From then on I decided that I wanted to sit on the moon with a Kitsune or two - thanks to the adorable pets from JIAN - and sprinkle the stars to light up the skies...

A Dark Nymph is a Forest Light

Tomorrow is a day I've been waiting for, for a FEW weeks... Tomorrow is the first day of my long weekend, I have three days off in a row, and I AM SO EXCITED! It feels like like magic, the air feels powerful and I honestly am extremely happy to announce that I have NO PLANS AT ALL!!! 
I am going to sit back, relax and let the magic happen...

Radiating Glitter in the Pipelines

WHY IS IT SO FECKING HOT ALREADY??? June is supposed to be the month that things START heating up not go into instant overdrive and suddenly flip from 20-24 degrees centigrade all the way to a HUMID and gross 30-32 degrees centigrade... It's A FECKING JOKE SURELY?!
I feel like I've entered a strange new world, maybe one on a different planet where the temperature is hot and humid even on the dark side of the planet... Mercury perhaps?! A planet where people live under the ground in some weird cyberlicious bunkers, and have to use cyborg parts to stay alive in the heat... 

We'd all be radiating some weird kind of toxic glitter that evaporates off our bodies in the place of sweat... Each person requiring different cybernetics to assist them in staying alive down here... I've had to wear a HUGE pair of Cyberneon Destiny Goggles, since my glasses broke on arrival, AND I have to keep my head held high in this Cyber Collar -from Boutique #187 at Cyber Fair until June 25th - which assists with the air that I breathe, all run by my Powered by Master Chip that has been tattooed into my skin - thanks to Adora-tions...

Falling into a Dream

I've had a LOVELY lazy day... I don't get them very often at the moment considering how my work schedule has been and although the shop has been calming down, I don't think that I will be getting many more relaxing days for a little while yet... So whilst I've been relaxing, lazing and generally letting my mind wander, I'm lost to a perfect daydream... Wasting the day, spending it dreaming...

Dreams are such strange things... Some nights I can have a really deep sleep and dream of nothing, others I am so restless that the dreams are kinda vivid and make me wake up wondering what the heck I've done to cause the strangeness... There are very few days that I ever have the kind of dreams I want to have again and again, although those little fantasies are the ones I find myself falling asleep to... I am SO exhausted at the moment I tend to have no trouble falling asleep... 
As I'm falling asleep it feels a little like I'm falling down into a rabbit hole, just like Alice did into Wonderland... As I fall, the magic sparkles around me and so many weird, wonderful and pretty things float on by... Some adorable new friends, some amazing new furniture and the silliest new sets of eyes to watch my fall... I just hope there is something soft to land on and that it doesnt turn into one of those nasty dreams with a feeling of a surprise fall... Ugh how I hate those!!!!

Radiant and Fluffy

I've loving a day off, it's like a bright spark in the busy moments that are glittering, radiant and colourful... It's what the weekends are made for... 

The Inception is a radiant, bright spot in my weekend and I love the fact that I can get colourful... 
Whilst I'm radiating a handful of neon greens and yellows, I can't help but let myself feel super happy, in a glamorous outfit, that's super soft, super fluffy, and a little edgy... A look of the day for a wildly lazy Sunday...

Rainbows in the Stars

The stars are shining bright tonight, as they twinkle it's in rainbow colours, blues and pinks, yellows and greens... They sparkle and twinkle and glitter in the dark... They have invaded the White Tower - a skybox created for Midnight Order by ChiMia - of the Midnight Order, which is slowly preparing to disappear into the darkness when the doors close on the 20th of the month... The members of the order gathering together inside the towers walls, basking in their last moments to dance in the light... 

Sometimes I like to make dark, macabre and brutal looking pictures, but I LOVE times when I get all pretty and sparkly... 
The sparkling stars were an inspiration for me today, the starsigns forming a 'Starry Halo' - an accessory from LuluB! - and whilst her head is in the clouds, she's sparkling... The lightning in her eyes sending sparks from her that reflect the colours and glitter through the room...

Head in the Clouds

Having one of those days where all I want to do is get myself into a pair of comfortable pyjamas, and let my mind wander off into the most fantastical of places. I had my first day back at work after a holiday and it was terribly dull... It's that period just after Christmas when the city seems to be in sleep mode. I wish that I could be in sleep mode too... I would be up in the clouds and dreaming of the stars...  

There's so much magic in the stars, the clouds and the moonlight, and even though there are things in space that may or may not exist, depending on who you talk to, I am still drawn to the stars, drawn to their glittering prettiness... 
I had the most amazing experience of star gazing when I visited my little sister in RL, she lives in a very rural cottage in the middle of nowhere, and the stars there seem more amazing than I have ever seen before. When it's clear you even see the galaxies... It brought a tear to my eye... 
For now though I'm going to laze back and let my mind drift off into the stars...

Cookie Chaos in my Holiday Kitchen

Since it's the run up now, day 2 on the slippery slope to the Festive Days, I decided that whilst I was at home it might be a good idea to get started on my Christmas baking. I've never been a very good baker, in fact I sometimes wonder how I manage to cook toast without it burning, but since Mum has already made and past me a home-made Christmas Pudding I figured that perhaps I should try and make some delicious cookies this year... How hard can it be to make gingerbread? 

In my adorable little Holiday Kitchen - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - I pulled out all of the ingredients, and pulled on a sexy Baking Bae Apron - from Vanilla Bae - to get myself started... Once I started, I couldn't stop myself from baking more and more, houses and gingerbread men for everyone and as decoration too, but things started going a little strange. I'd followed the recipe in the strange old Thor's Country Cook Book, and I'd rolled the dough to the right consistency, but it started to escape... It was Escaping raw dough - from Aardvark for The Farmers Market - the dough was coming to life, and then the Gingerbread men became Psycho Cookies - from Tardfish at The Warehouse - running around with knives in search of a gang of jelly babies to rough up! I'm telling you, Christmas Candy is BRUTAL!!

Royal Guard defends the Stairs to the Sky

I noticed lately that things have been doing a lot of pretty but normie looking pictures lately, I had so many things on my mind since I've been back to the UK, and now I'm wondering how I've gone this long without a little magic, a little fantasy, and a little sparkle... 
I feel stronger after my visit home, I feel powerful.. I feel like I could protect and defend and have the power to do anything I set my mind to... I feel like I could defend the stairway to heaven...

Dark Immaculate Heart

I still cant get my mind into blogging something normal at the moment, for some reason I cannot get myself into a normal frame of mind... I think that my mind is stuck in a fantasy world after all of the costumes that I've been putting together for the Halloween festivities... Maybe I'll keep myself getting into the fantasy spirit... It's something I LOVE doing, I will be sharing a little love for dress-up, lot and lots of Love... 

Love is an amazing thing, it can be wonderful magical beautiful, but it can be brutal dangerous damaging. Love can be warm and cozy or hot and fierce. Love can be between couples - or poly relationships - family and even friends, yet when it disappears Love can be the most painful thing in the world to lose. If love is anything, it's deep, it's happiness and it's a better feeling than the most powerful drug could provide. 
Love can be good or bad, if there is a cupid for the good kind of love there should be a goddess somewhere for the bad kind. She hides in the Sanctuary Hell but wears the marks of the Dark Love goddess in the form of the Immaculate Hearts - from CUREMORE.
