Bohemian Spring

A few days ago, the little living dead doll in me went Easter Egg Hunting over at the Witchwood sim... It was an adorably fun little hunt, with some very pretty spring time clothes and accessories from the stores that Witchwood calls home... Both Petite Mort and Oubliette can be found here, so you know you're going to be able to find some adorable bohemian and witchy attire!

I couldn't resist a couple of pieces from this adorable collection, I HAD to share them with you, there was no stopping me... The collection is made up of 10 items ranging from shorts and tops, to skirts and bikinis, with a couple of accessories thrown in for good measure. Each hunt item is priced between 10 - 20L, so it won't break the bank and you will have a new Spring wardrobe, but while you're there, don't forget that the stores are having a sale too!

Parties at the Monster Bar

At the moment you're getting to see the two sides of my personality bubbling over the edges and down the sides of the cup, maybe it's cabin fever but I'm feeling a little like the two sides of me are fighting to see who gets the light today... Tonight the living dead side of me is being freed and she's heading out for a bit of a Necrotic party!!! It's time to slip into you dancing shoes, the club is calling... 

I think the little living dead doll has definitely had one too many of those cocktails, but in the Monster Club she's letting her hair down and having a damn good time... She's been cooped up for too long! 
She's done her make-up all pretty just for tonight, fully approved by +FATHER+ - who is actually the brilliant mind behind this Undead Face Make-up that comes in three different shades at Necrosis - and even braved adding some of those fancy "Nija" Lenses - from Spookshow, also at Necrosis. For a dead thing she's still more than a little squeamish about putting things in her eyes, eyeballs just feel so icky! As a little extra peek at these things though, I've added a close up, without the bubble gum, so you can clearly see the pretties!

Making Daisy Chains

Since it's Spring now, and since the weather has been fairly nice to look out of the window at, I'm feeling in the mood to get out there and enjoy the early sunshine, smell the flowers and roam free... Thank heavens we have SL to do that in at the moment, right? So I'm in the mood to be a little girlie - some might say hippy-ish - and dance on the grasses, hide at The Getaway, and decorate myself with daisies... 

I've been covered in daisies like this before, probably about the same time last year if I'm being honest, but it's a look and a feeling that I LOVE! When I was little in RL I would always find myself making daisy chains and talking to them in the long grass as soon as the weather was right to be allowed to play outside! 
So aside from the daisies I've dotted through my Sunshower Lamb hair, I had to slip into a new "Beth" skirt from Mug which is decorated with little white flowers, AND I even got a little naughty and picked a bunch while I was dancing through them - thanks to the ChicChica Chamomile bunch available now at Bloom! 
Anyone want me to make them a daisy chain?

Necrosis at Winter's End

Necrosis has opened today... The first day of the Winter's End and all of the little darkly devious little Necrosis store owners have come together to bring us some dark little delights for the start of the spring... There's lots of lovely devious little things... I found myself a pretty little outfit and then had a really good idea, I was going to show off my outfit while doing a little Easter Egg hunting... 

So once I was dressed in my first of many Necrosis outfits, I went for a little Easter Egg Hunt at Witchwood - home of Petite Mort and Oubliette, I'll share more about that in another post - but there's lots of lovely eggs with some awesome goodies to find!

Who knew a Bubble could break a Fort?!

It's not fair... OK I KNOW I shouldn't complain, there are people in a lot worse situations right now, but I am actually jealous that HellBone got to go to work today. I want to go to work, and I know that being at home is the best for everyone right now, but I've been here almost 2 weeks and I'm starting to get a little cabin fever! Still someone must stay home and protect our non-hoard, we never hoarded anything in RL - the usual shopping was enough for us - and now it seems that the supermarkets have most things back in stock again. In SL though it was different, I felt a strong need to hoard toilet roll...

Even if I don't need it now, it's only 7 months until Halloween, and I have plans that involve LOTS of TP! Lots and Lots of TP!!! In fact if you've been hoarding it and have some to spare by Halloween, send it my way!! I'll trade for a can of Anti Corona Spray - from vaak - or some fresh orange juice - from vespertine. I have so much toilet paper that I even tried building things with it... The fort I built fell down when I tried to climb inside whilst wearing the Personal Bubbles - from Bad Unicorn - but it collapsed, so I had to settle for a throne of toilet paper - thanks to BackBone hehe... 
I feel like such a Bathroom Godfather sat here like this hehe...

Spring iz sprung,

the grass is riz! 

I wonder where the birdies is! 

Technically the rhyme is "boidies" that heavily accented way of saying birdies, but my mother always used to say it like birdies so it's what stuck with me, and what pops into my head every Spring. It's officially the Spring Season here and it's brought with it some gorgeous weather and the sounds of birds, and splashes of colourful flowers. Yet, due to the virus we're all stuck inside, not that it's a bad thing but we're missing out on that gorgeous spring sensation! The time when new life comes crashing in around us with a cacophony of colours, sounds and smells! I'm missing being outside, can you tell?! 
For now at least I guess we're lucky that we can spend time in SL and enjoy those pretty Spring time things...

Dripping in Luxury

The cities have become such quiet places now that everyone is on lock down... You can walk the usually bustling streets and hear silence, with the occasional person way off in the distance. It's become like an eerie ghost town, all the people are hiding behind closed doors... 

Even the hookers on the street corners are disappearing... Poor Rudh was standing in the growing darkness for a long time waiting to see anyone, and the only car that came around was a cop telling her to get back into her quarantine house... 
On the plus side though she was the best dressed hooker in Little World that day... Dressed in a simple but sexy Mini Bodysuit - from MuggleBorn - and wrapped in a gorgeously soft Fur so she was "Dripping in Luxury".

The Grubby Friends Search for Grub!

Now that I've updated myself I had to try and do something that's very important for me... The Living Dead Doll in me needs to be able to get out sometimes. So it was time to test out how the zombie me looks with my new face... The Living Dead Doll was set free... 
She's lurking in dark places, hiding from the light, and this time she's not alone... While having been in hiding she's found herself a new set of grubby little friends... 

Hiding at the Ministry of Darkness, the Living Dead Doll peeks out of the shadows. Her Grubby Friends - the current group gift from FIKA - forcing her out of hiding to find some fresh - yet rotten - food... 
There's a limitation on brains, this zombie girl will settle for something simple... Maybe Pizza?!

An Extra Smoke Break

It's finally Saturday... I've been stuck in lock down for a week now, and although I'm trying to keep myself busy I still find myself feeling just a little crazy being at home. I want to go out to work, and I'm at that point where I miss being at work - never thought I'd be saying that! 
Even Rudh is determined to get out, she's sneaking down to the parking garage, as we speak, for a sneaky cigarette...

Doctors for Desperate Times

Now that the Corona Virus is in full swing and we're all being forced to stay stuck at home - for the best reasons I may say and I'm not knocking the isolation thing trust me - the Doctors and Nurses that are providing care for the sick are getting stretched thin, they've had to call in reinforcements... The Plague Doctors are coming back and they bring some interesting practices with them... 

Their masks make them look daunting, his like a old-school plague doctor, hers without any facial features at all, and all that black is more than a little intimidating... But hey if they have things that will help the sufferers feel better, then that's what counts right?! 
As a side note, as well as these AMAZING outfits from ANTINATURAL, I decided to wear the Dentata ring set from Ama... BUT while I was taking the picture I realised they are teeny tiny, and then I forgot and changed and cleaned up and dammit I didn't do a close up... I hope you can forgive me and instead get a good look at the Ads that were created for these adorably toothy rings...

Happy Birthday To ME!

Today is my 34th Birthday, and I know it sounds silly but it's one of the weirdest Birthday's I've ever had. Normally I'd have friends and family around - my parents had planned a visit to see me in the Holland - but that cannot happen due to the Corona Virus, so everything feels so quiet, calm and, if I'm honest, a little surreal! It's been lovely in a weird way, HellBone made me a cake and spoilt me with gifts but I've just been reading and relaxing which would normally be a novelty, although it's becoming a bit of a normal right now LOL... Looks like I will be celebrating more in SL, maybe?! 

Even in SL though, it seems a little quiet, all my Gators are away and instead of seeing them more, I'm seeing them less LOL... 
So it's a Birthday Party for one! More cake for me! Wonder if I could freeze it so it's available after the virus has passed and everyone can be together in the same place...

My New Look is a Pot of Gold!

First of all, I want to say, Happy St. Patricks Day! Whether you're Irish or not, it seems to be the done thing now that everyone gets a little green on March 17th, and dances an Irish jig or two after consuming one too many pints of Guinness... So while the world is going corona crazy, maybe it's time step back and get your Guinness on?! I most definitely did, while I was exploring the gorgeous little corner of Ireland in SL that is Finian's Dream! 
In other news though, and the main point of today's post is it's time to share with you an update to my pretty barbie, one that I'm kinda excited to see finally happen but yes, I know, I'm late to the party! Rudh has had a little change, nothing majorly noticeable, but she's definitely looking more grown up... 

I'd been talking about it with my bestie booboo, Manky, for some time now but never actually found the push I needed to get myself out there to find what I wanted. Manky not only pushed me in at the deep end, by giving me the means to fund my upgrade as a birthday gift, but he also - like the shape-shifting guru he is - seemed to know EXACTLY which head would be best for me... Ladies and Gentlemen, Rudh is now Catwa Bento and BoM-ified! The Catwa "Jasmine" head, and a gorgeous skin from amara beauty - which I stumbled upon at the Skin Fair - and now I cannot stop looking at myself! Why didn't I do this sooner? Why does my fear of change hold me back SO MUCH when everyone seems to be able to chop and change their heads so easily LOL... Thank you so much for the amazing Birthday gift Manky BooBoo!

My New Dinosaur Friend

DINOSAURS!!!!!! I LOVE DINOSAURS - and Dragons too but today it's all about the Dinos!!! Maybe it's because I've started feeling like a bit of a Secondlife Dinosaur! I have been in world nearly 14 years now, and started playing when I had just turned 20 - with my Birthday coming up I'm beginning to get a little nostalgic! 

As I was checking up on some of the Dinos in the Gator Dino Park, I had to step out of the jeep - a Dino Park Vehicle by Hogs & Cart Wheels - and greet one of our newest little cuties... The Three Horns - dinosaurs from the Dino Buddies Gacha by Jian - have had a little addition it seems that the little MishMish was born!
The cute little thing followed me around as I checked on the other dinos... I think I made a new friend!

Boys... You forgot the Angel Blade!

Yesterday the Gators MC threw me a little Birthday Bash in SL... We like to throw interesting themed parties that can get a little chaotic at times, themes can be pretty interesting - I mean we've partied in poop at least 3 times by now - but this year HellBone chose a theme that made me super excited, this year was all about Supernatural!!!
Without giving any spoilers, I crawled out of my bed and into a flannel shirt - which is actually a new release from Vinyl for Equal10-  I "borrowed" from Sam, grabbing an angel blade I went to see where the party was... 

Looks like it being just my luck, the boys had already gotten into the cemetery and got the party started without me... What did I warn them about starting the fun? Opening portals to Hell, and releasing all the goodies within is not fair when I cant be there to play too... So I decided to sit on the "Baby" - or in this case the Metallicar from Hogs & Cart Wheels - and wait for them to come back and find me. It won't be long, they left the Angel Swords - from Violetility based on the Supernatural Weapon of choice - behind too!

Magic in the Forest

Wandering through the Lost Unicorn Forest, the magic starts to take over and the spirit within me starts to break free. The magic bubbles up inside and breaks free, sparkling through the pastel trees and flowers of the beginning of Spring. Maybe it is the magic of the forest spirit that is calling the spring out to play... 

The darkness of the forest is apparent in the dress of the spirit... She wears the black robes similar to "Pygmalion's Bride" - from the gacha collection available by CURELESS - but it is the death aspects of her outfit that allow the lucky person who spots her to see the death of the Winter being pulled away to make way for the freshness of Spring. 
Her Mask, hidden behind the Huvud Crown - from FIKA - shows her status, the bones of the crown revealing the darkness of her winter while her white dancing veil draws in the lightness and colour...

A New Home with a Native Spirit

HellBone and I have been considering moving in RL... It is something that is being discussed but not something that's anywhere near set in stone, and the feeling is already making me very nervous. Why can't it just be more simple like it is in SL to contemplate a move? Some people change their house every week, and I LOVE moving into a new SL house when I can... 

There's less stress involved I suppose, less packing and unpacking is involved and a heck of a lot less chaos... I mean if you want to move in SL it's easy right? 
I will admit though that I LOVE moving into a new house in SL. Finding the perfect new dream home, or even just a temporary place until you get everything unpacked and looking pretty and then move on. 
I've thrown some of my new Native Spirit furniture - from the gacha collection by Petite Mort at Imaginarium - into my new summer guest house - from Trompe Loeil - and am slowly settling in. Even the cat seems to like it here! 
I just wonder how long it will last before I get cabin fever and need to move again hehe...

Recharging in the Tea Zone

Cyber Fair has opened in SL promoting a deluge of cyborg related pictures. and it's all very futuristic and exciting. Cyber has never really been a style I've dug into but looking at all of these gorgeous pictures a girl cannot help but get caught up in thinking about the what-ifs... 
In the future, when we're all wired in and needing to plug in to recharge our systems - an idea which actually sounds pretty good even for me right now - I'm hoping there's still tea! It would be nice to plug into a recharging point and drink a cup of tea while I charge... 

They could be like "Tea Zone" - signs made by Inner Demons available at Whore Couture Fair - I'd definitely be comfortable plugging myself in to charge if I could have tea too! 
In the future, I wonder if Cyber does become a thing, will we need to plug in? If we do, I WOULD LOVE to have plugs like the amazing "Feel the Connection Implants" from PSYCHO.Byts, and would definitely be down for some body improvements like this "Antebreachium Augmentation" from FIKA. It seems so strange to think of myself with robot parts, but if it ever were to happen I'd want them to look like these. Both of these things, along with some of my other props, are available at the new Cyber Fair, which runs until March 25th.

Anyone Fancy A Banana Split?

As it's a Saturday and I've been so busy lately, I feel like it's time for a little treat... Something deviously naughty that normally I'd run a mile from, but can justifiably allow myself today. I'm nothing thinking of anything elaborate or expensive, but something that will definitely make me smile... ICE CREAM will do that, like the banana splits that my dad used to make when I was a kid... 

Rudh wanted banana splits too, admittedly she did it in a different way than I would when I was younger but more is the question now of, can you look her in the eye while she eats her banana?! It's one of those challenges that I love to play with male friends even in RL, and as soon as I saw the bananas from Junk Food I knew I would be playing with them in SL too! 
It came together so perfectly with the awesome new Sherry Lingerie - that could also make the perfect bikini really - from MuggleBorn. I chose the Banana print to match my new toy - which is a pattern available in the fatpack - and then set about making some delicious banana splits!

Welcome Home for Heart Replacements

I've been so busy with work and being sick lately that I feel like I'm losing myself in the midst of things. I haven't really had time to stop and smell the roses, let alone sit down to take any pictures that I can blog. 
Now that I've finally found a little time, I decided for some reason to do something a little dark and macabre! Everything has been a little too cute and bright lately, and I needed to let the Living Dead Doll inside me have her day in the light... So today, as a possible cure for the way that she's feeling, she's having a heart replacement... 

In the dark old "Welcome Home" Asylum - a backdrop from Ex Machina - a "Hospital for Souls" the Hydrotub has been set up as a make shift operating table to remove her heart and then replace it with a Mekaniskt Heart. The device is a new invention from FIKA - available until March 15th at Aenigma - which will do the beating for me, and can be easily replaced when I'm getting heartbroken!
Just a short break for recovery, I have a long weekend, and so plenty of time, and I'll be back fighting fight and a little more android than usual hehe...

Want some Lemonade? It's got a kick to it!

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade... I'm suffering with a really bad cold at the moment so I could really use the vitamins, plenty of vitamin C. Luckily I love fruit juice and I'm drinking it by the gallon at the moment. Though at the moment, nothing seems to be working, so maybe I think that it's time for me to start adding the good stuff... Vodka maybe?!

I dressed up all cute, wearing a new Decoy outfit called Renee - it's a gacha collection available now at The Arcade, the shorts and tops are commons but the jacket is the rare just for those that want to know - and I went outside my little house to set up a lemonade stand. When life gives you Lemons - a pose set from NANTRA - made for the perfect little shop, and I was being good making sweet lemonade, that is until I got bored and felt that vodka was needed lol!
