Looking for a Pot of Gold!

Today is the day for the Luck of the Irish... A day when people go crazy for all things green, drink a lot more Guinness than they might normally ever do and even try a little Irish jig or two. People start hunting Leprechauns and looking for pots of gold at the end of rainbows, and maybe if you're lucky having a nice bowl of a hearty stew... Like many holidays though, St.Patrick's day has its roots in religion and it's true beginnings commemorate the arrival of Christianity in Ireland... 
I am not the religious type, but I've always loved the magic of the world so I'd be much more likely to go on the hunt for Leprechauns and their gold... 

When I was a teenager, my parents took me to Ireland and we travelled around the Ring of Kerry. It was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous, enchanting, I even joined in the magic and kissed the Blarney Stone but it felt so easy to imagine the fae folk and the leprechauns hiding in the flowery meadows... If you saw a rainbow, you coudn't help risking a peek around for a pot of gold...

Glitches in the Light

I had a long hard day at the academy they send us to for assistant manager training today and there is so much information buzzing around in my head that I am having trouble focusing... It's like my brain keeps glitching right now, though that could have a few alternative reasons as to why... 
The glitching idea though has definitely been a factor when it came to planning a photo for today's blogging session... My mind kept glitching, and I ended up becoming the cutest of glitching cyborgs... 

I'd had the weirdest dream last night which I guess played a part in both my brain glitches and the reason that I'm in a room urrounded by monsters in cryogen tubes that we're working to extract the DNA from... The chamber, and the pods - both of which are Celeste creations - are kept dark and calm so as not to rouse the sleeping monsters, but I have to be careful, my glitches could mess everything up...

Baddie of Mario Land

Sometimes I find myself getting a little random in my blogging... I guess that I live up to the name sake of my blog really. I start with an item, get confused, find another item that kinda looks cool with the first item and after a few minutes my mind whizzes off to the most random of places... 
For me today that random place my mind went to happened to be Mario Land because the idea that came bouncing into my mind was started by a hat and teamed with some gloves and tadaaaaaaa.... I was dressing myself Bowser Style... 

I can't help where my mind runs off to, I never knew that Mario Land would be so much fun especially when I went from being the good guy before to being on the bad team...

Ladies and Gentle Bugs

I've slipped into a bit of a hole recently, I'm finding it difficult to focus on anything as I'm getting to the point of needing something different in life. I'm getting bored, I'm overly tired and want to get away somewhere different, so I can see new things and feel more relaxed than I currently do. In fact, I'm eager to get myself away, and the reason being is that I am almost at the point of going back to the UK... I NEED to go home and see my family, be amongst English things and do nothing more than read a book... 
My mind needs to be able to drift off to a magical world... Like the fairies that live in my head and my SecondLife... 

You should know by now the love I have for all things fae. I've always believed that I would be a mermaid if I could be a fanatasy being, but I'm beginning to think that I could also be a fairy. 
Today I'm getting into a new set of wings, that comes with a perfect pattern of spotted markings... I'm going to be dancing in a fairy glade, the one that is known as the Sunken Temple - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - and down amongst the daisies and dandelions, is where the Lady Bugs dance... The little Lady Bug Fae wears the spots of her friends on her skin - a gorgeous new set from Fantasy Forest Store that includes the wings and body paint shown here but also wings for flight, antennae, headdress and a staff full of magical power - that allows her to perfectly blend in...

Laundry Days at the Pole

I am not a fan of this being a grown up thing... I mean you have to be serious and go to work all day and then when you get home, you have to do more fun things like household chores. The laundry needs folding, the dishes need doing and there is a stink coming from the cat litter tray that could make even the devil cry. 
It's not only in RL where this can be a problem though, the work is never done for a girl in SL either... Since it's nearly Christmas, I've had to take on a little extra work to help pay the gift purchasing bills, and today it's laundry... 

I took a job working in this adorably busy little town, full of the cutest little folks with a leader that's jolly and welcoming, although he has some interesting tastes in clothes... I had to hang them up as it's Santa's Day Off - a washing line set from dust bunny, available at Anthem - and it's not too bad, I don't even mind the uniform really, the Santa's Helper Hats - from KitCat - are brilliant and warm...

Cheesy, Magical, Goodness!

One of the things that always gets my imagination flowing is the creation and the excitment at creating one of my fairy folk looks... I LOVE being dark and gothic, I LOVE being cute and girlie, but I really do love the excitment of fairytale... 
Today I have to say that I think the cravings for dinner, just made the little fairy tell the true story about where the magic of Pizza comes from... 

In the fairy realm, there is a special area dedicated to what us humans would refer to as the Kitchen but they refer to as the magical cooking pot... There are fairies that cook all kinds of good things. Some for ice cream, some for veggies, some for candies and even, the best for last, he fairies for Pizza... 
The Pizza fairies are brilliant, they cook their delicious wares on giant magical Pizza Ovens - from Krescendo, and yes I have enlarged it for my picture today - and as the pizza flies out they take them for a Cheesy Drive - the new cheesy vehicle from Ananas at Level, which actually gives you delicious slices of pizza - guiding them back to earth to feed the people that are in need of some cheesy goodness!

Do Cyborgs Cry?

 Do Cyborgs ever cry? I'm not all that clued up when it comes to Sci-Fi as a genre, and so things like cyborgs and robots are REALLY beyond my imagination. Yet I understand enough to know that they are programmed to be something akin to a human... If so, do they know how to feel anything? Maybe not emotions like love, but what about rage or sadness when they lose a part of their body as an example? Would they be able to cry? 

I'm such a wuss that I cry at everything, so I feel like a cyborg version of me should at least be able to cry, even if she did not understand her feelings...

Casting a little Magic

It's midweek and I'm feeling that I have a need for a little magic in my life right now... Even though Holland seems to be opening up a little, it's also 'apparently' one of the worst places in Europe right now for Covid cases... It's making me more than a little blah, so a touch of magic and the casting of a spell to cheer me up should help... 

I found myself wandering up to the darkest part of my attic - a skybox from PITAYA if you're curious - and checked that the spell waiting in my cauldron - part of a set from Violetility - was still ready and hadn't gone bad... 
Once the magic started flowing, and she'd cast herself a orb with a a large "Exterior" Halo - a set from LuluB at Cyber Punk - she started wondering if she should have worn more clothes as her cloak began to singe and her Succubi Pasties - from The Rotting Lab - began to feel like they weren't covering enough. It wasn't her fault that the Wicca Underwear - from MuggleBorn - didn't hide all that much, they matched so prettily with her Momo Veil - from Six Feet Under at The Darkness Monthly Event!
NOW... Just for the record I do have a little confession... You can see the tops of the panties that are part of this MuggleBorn Set. The gorgeous set is a mainstore release and it works well with the previous releases of Wicca Accessories. I was planning on showing off more of it, but it is VERY revealing when it's on and I kinda chickened out a little! Who has awoken the sleeping demon?

I´m staying on my fantasy kick, I seem to not be able to get get away from it at the moment but today a dark goddess reared her head and who was I to deny her. 
She arose from her slumber in the Mausoleu - a backdrop from PALETO - when her sleep had been disturbed by the noise out side the walls...Her halo glowing white, though it's not because she's so innocent and pure, she's furious for being awoken, she's white hot with rage...

Watching the World go by...

Yesterday I turned 35 and it was my second lockdown Birthday since the Covid Pandemic started. I will admit that this year, was a little different from the last as I KNEW what I had coming. but somehow it felt lonlier and more empty than last year. 
I was spoilt by my hubby but had no visits from family or friends, and even things in SL were very quiet, yet I had a had a good day overall... I'm just trying to sit pensive and thoughtful for a moment as I hope I can get myself back to positivity after a few days of feeling empty... 

I was laying on a comfy sofa, reading a good book - nothing feels better than reading a good book to take you away from the feeling of lonliness during this time - but I was distracted by the silence in the city that is locked down by a curfew clock. Laying my reading glasses aside, I sat up and watched from the balcony, basking in the flickering lights...

A Hot Bath on a Cold Day

Today has been my first day of my vacation over the festive season, I'm looking forward to a few weeks to relax... I have a lot of Christmassy things to get myself feeling a little festive. I've got presents to buy and wrap, people to spend some festive fun times with and so many things to see... 
However I am going to rest and relax... First with a nice hot chill in a pool... 

She's been chillaxing after working in the snowy garden, building snowmen and setting out lights around a Christmassy home... It's now time to relax and would it be wrong of me to drink the hot chocolate that I'm bathing in?!

Destroyer of All Things!

 I've been chatting with one of my MC Brother about his new puppies a lot lately, so much in fact that he's swamping the Gators with pictures of the adorable, terrible twosome... His house looks like a doggy toy graveyard! He says no matter how much he cleans it, there is ALWAYS cotton stuffing from the toys... Now I love puppies, and I love plushies, and my dog when she was little got her teeth on my favourite childhood stuffed animal - trust me she only did it the once! Yet both those things got me thinking, and well... Thinking can lead to some adorable pictures... 

The puppy - a Scruffy Shepherd from Jian in this case - was just chilling in my house, being cute when things got very quiet... I turned to check and the little asshole was ripping into teddy!!! My little teddy Sakura had become a very scared little Victim Bear... Just fluff and stuffing!! 
Anyone know how to lead a funeral for a teddy?!

Blood, Blood, Gallons of the Stuff...

 Ever have one of those dreams that seem kinda kinky but are actually totally disturbing with a hint of twisted craziness... This morning was like that for me... I woke up thinking WHAT THE FARK?! To get it out of my system I had to create something akin to it, just so that I could forget about it and move on... 
Picture it, dark BDSM club and I thought wha-hey this is gonna be good, but then the violence started and there was blood everywhere, and me dressed as what I only assumed was some kind of maid... I remember running to the bathroom to hide... 

That's when I woke up and had to recreate what I had seen in my head...

Murder in the Office!!!

I've been at work for a few days now and things are getting a little crazy here in RL... Covid has taken over again and things are back in code red here, meaning that everything has quietened down and there's a lot less going on in my RL... It's driving me a little stir crazy with worry... 
So stir crazy that Rudh went to great lengths to get rid of some of her work stress... She even made sure that one of the problems was handled very delicately... 

I was always told if you cant fix something with a hammer, then duct tape works, and if you can't fix it with that then cutting up in a million pieces... What happened to start as a lunch date became a bit heated, somewhat erotic and finally things got annoying so she had to cut someone to pieces to get them to shut up...

Apocalyptic-ish Ramblings!

When you're lost and alone, wandering the dusty streets of the post-apocalyptic you can head on down to Tralala's Diner to get yourself a delicious burger... It will help you with the desolation, the loneliness and the sadness, it will make you smile!!! 

Feeling a little less girly than I have been recently is definitely making me feeling somewhat happier though, I'm loving getting back into my dead doll roots a little bit, and well... Halloween isn't that far away! Today being a little post apocalyptic I've pulled on a mask - good in both world's for wearing one I am - and granted it's a little more dangerous looking in SL but that's the fault of PSYCHO.Byts with their Feral Gerd Masks - available now at ACCESS - and it's funny that my mask covers more than my Mug' top but that's also because of my Cyber Pasties from the MuggleBorn Mainframe!

Life's a Beach for Summer of Goth

Life's a beach at the Summer of Goth for Necrosis... There's so much pretty but pretty dead stuff available in this round that a girl simply cannot resist getting her swimwear on and heading to the beach... 

She grabbed my big pink flamingo floatie and headed to the beach at Amavatar and went for a dip in the ocean... Had to be a little careful, didn't want my new jewellery to get wet... It wouldn't work nicely with salt water... Gummies and Games

It's a lazy Sunday, not that it's different from any other day at the moment they are all pretty much bleeding into one another... Today though I have plans... I'm going to sit around playing games, eating candies and DRINKING... 

I'm playing some of the weirdest video games, in my laziest of comfy clothes - an awesome top from Vinyl with the best slogan EVER "Be a duck in a flock of flamingoes", and a new release pair of "Rosie Trackies" from MuggleBorn. I grabbed some snacks from Junk Food, who also have the best vodka I've tried in SL, and curled up on my amazingly soft Fluffy Beanbag - from Violetility - and I'm now not to be disturbed lol...

Fairy Spells in the Sun

Normally the living dead doll in me wants her day in the moonlight but recently, with all the time I've been spending cooped up in the dark I've actually wanted to be outside and play in the flowers and sunshine of Spring... The fantasy fae in me has pushed through the crowd of pretties and she's going to spend some time in the sun to read some of her magical tomes... 

The little fairy has had a very busy morning, going shopping at Ostara's Altar to buy a pretty outfit - the dress I'm wearing is from [QE] and is called Lorelei Corset Dress, the pale pink colour is almost skin toned and it's decorated all over with pretty pink roses, but if pink isn't your thing then there's a green version too. She's also wearing some pretty jewelry from Velika Rituals - a set of adorable butterfly jewelry, and because they aren't so clear I've shared the ads of both the jewelry and dresses!  
She's curled up in an adorable bed, that could easily pass as a Garden Daybed - from the gacha collection Mushroom Room at Gachaland by Star Sugar - she's joined by some of her adorable little fae friends and her mushroom plushie, and with her magic wand - a Stay at Home Club Gift from MuggleBorn - she's practicing her spells in the evening Spring sun...

Dripping in Luxury

The cities have become such quiet places now that everyone is on lock down... You can walk the usually bustling streets and hear silence, with the occasional person way off in the distance. It's become like an eerie ghost town, all the people are hiding behind closed doors... 

Even the hookers on the street corners are disappearing... Poor Rudh was standing in the growing darkness for a long time waiting to see anyone, and the only car that came around was a cop telling her to get back into her quarantine house... 
On the plus side though she was the best dressed hooker in Little World that day... Dressed in a simple but sexy Mini Bodysuit - from MuggleBorn - and wrapped in a gorgeously soft Fur so she was "Dripping in Luxury".

Anyone Fancy A Banana Split?

As it's a Saturday and I've been so busy lately, I feel like it's time for a little treat... Something deviously naughty that normally I'd run a mile from, but can justifiably allow myself today. I'm nothing thinking of anything elaborate or expensive, but something that will definitely make me smile... ICE CREAM will do that, like the banana splits that my dad used to make when I was a kid... 

Rudh wanted banana splits too, admittedly she did it in a different way than I would when I was younger but more is the question now of, can you look her in the eye while she eats her banana?! It's one of those challenges that I love to play with male friends even in RL, and as soon as I saw the bananas from Junk Food I knew I would be playing with them in SL too! 
It came together so perfectly with the awesome new Sherry Lingerie - that could also make the perfect bikini really - from MuggleBorn. I chose the Banana print to match my new toy - which is a pattern available in the fatpack - and then set about making some delicious banana splits!
