St.Patrick's Day

It's St.Patrick's Day today... Traditionally only a special day in Ireland, it seems like it's slowly seeping out into the world, and I kinda get the feeling it's become more of a thing in America now than Ireland even. Maybe I'm wrong, but anyone that I spoke to today that seemed to be celebrating was not current Irish but of Irish decent... Funny how traditions shift and change throughout the world isn't it? Wonder why St.Patrick's Day become such a phenomenon, but things like St.George's Day - which is a patron saint day of the English - for example, was less of a thing... I mean everyone celebrates their own chosen things, personally outside of SL I wouldn't be doing anything for St.Patrick's Day but in SL is a whole different story... 

I've seen so many people partying and enjoying their St.Patrick's Day celebrations in Second Life and I think that's bloody awesome... I really do... I've always been like that and lately I'm a LOT less like the party animal I once was. I spend far too much time on my own at the moment, I think I should make some new friends or hang out with the old ones that I still have... I wanted to do something different, something more my usual loner style at the moment... Something with a hint of magic, something to test myself with practising decor pictures... 
Today, I heard a noise in the shed... When I snuck down there was a magical air to the place, the table top where I am learning the new art of flower pressing and drying for arts sake had some gorgeous little bright green shamrocks all over it... Gold coins glittered in the rainbow light, and there was a mysterious hat on the table that wasn't there when I left the shed earlier... 
So for now I'm going to set up a trap and wait to see if there is a Leprechaun exploring my shed, until then, Happy St.Patrick's Day...

Killing Cupid

It is hard to believe that it's almost the end of February already and that means we're already two months down and into the third month of the year. March is one of the most important month's of the year, since it's my Birthday month and this year I'll be a number that rhymes with sporty... First though there is ONE thing that I have to do before we end out February... 

I need to rid us of that annoying little thing that has been buzzing around us for the month, and that means someone perhaps me, needs to get rid of that little Cupid... I think if I'm lucky I can catch him in his hideout somewhere in the Tunnel of Love - which is a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - I'm armed with a few things like bows and arrows, and even the Until Death Axe - which is from Krescendo - and and makes the perfect weapon for an angel killer like me...

Prepping the Bad Magic before Valentine's

Ahhh Wednesday, thank fuck you're finally done for me and I have the day off tomorrow... I NEED to have some time to relax, although with the building preparations and having to pack umore stuff I think I have a lot more to do than I might have anticipated LOL.... 
For tonight I'm going to kick back and work a little magic... The month of the hearts and flowers and romance is alomost upon us and for the next couple of weeks everything will no doubt be full of Valentine's sweetness... I'm not a Valentine fan, can't it be Halloween again?! Perhaps I need to find a way... 

Now if there is one thing I do know is that Monster Smut is often a good way to enjoy the romance and seduction without things being too sickly sweet... Since starting my reading journey I've discovered a LOT of new things that are somewhat intriguing... 
I've decided to let the bood thirsty monster out of myself, I'm going to let her let her hair down and plan her Valentine season... No mush, no sickly sweet, not even a card, just dark Valentine funsies... The Gingerbread Slay

Honestly it's hard to believe that it's Christmas week already, even with the fact that it feels like we've been talking about Christmas for ages now, I'm still shocked that it's almost here... Is that weird?! I guess it's because I don't feel ANYWHERE near the Christmas Spirit because there have been so many things dragging my mind into darker places than I've been in a LONG LONG time... I'll talk more about that after the happiness of the festivities are over, but for now I'm going to throw the prettiness into the ring, shake it up and see what happens... The darkness seeped through just a little and took over the gumdrop candy cuteness... 

I am in the mood for a little chaos, a little mayhem and a little evil... I've decided that my version of the Sugar Plum Fairy would rule her little corner of Sugar Land with a somewhat deadly iron fist... Her home at the Gingerbread Manor - which is a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis, that I have actually butchered to use in the background of my picture, and have actually added the official Ad Poster to the bottom of the post... Oh and I'm sorry Synnergy.Tavis, the backdrop is gorgeous but I needed it to be a little different - in the Gingerbread town is perfectly positioned  to watch over her Gingerbread subjects...

Card Magic for a Royal?!

I am currently in a VERY deep rut... I seem to put together an outfit that I LOVE, that I feel happy showing off and being seen in, and then when it comes down to actually taking the picture, I feel like I'm way off and it's not good enough. I don't know if I'm just in an unhappy place right now, or if I'm genuinely just over thinking that my pictures aren't what I want them to be and subconciously comparing them to others again... It's like being a magician that's rubbish at card tricks right now... 

I'd never be a good magician I am far too worried about putting on a good show and I'd end up being ill... I'm terrible at putting on a show, though saying that I put on a show of being happy and confident and smily most of the time and right now that mask has slipped... 
I feel like I'd be lost in my own mind, a Wonderland of sorts and I feel lost... Magic or no magic, I'm feeling lost... One thing I do know is that I can still put a kick ass outfit together, least I won't lose that skill I suppose, but then that's like putting on a mask and I'm very good at that... 
Knowing me, I'd be wandering down a Grand Hall - a backdrop from Paparazzi - heading to do a magic show for the queen and it would all go horribly wrong...

Do you play Croquet?

Things are crazy in my household at the moment. My pain in the butt, whom I love muchly, hubby was operated on yesterday and though he's home he is in a lot of pain. I've been allowed to take a few days off so that I can look after him which so far has been fairly OK... He is a little high on the good kind of drugs, but it's me that seems to be stuck in my own tiring little Wonderland, I'm running around all over the place doing things for him... I finally managed to get a little time to rest and so I ended up finding a Wonderland that was a little less stressful... 

What to do while I'm here to relax? Anyone fancy a game of croquet? I always used to love the idea of the flamingo croquet that Alice played with the Queen of Hearts in the Disney version... I wanted to play with the croquet mallets so badly because they looked like heaps of fun... So in the gardens of Wonderland I'm going to ask, DO YOU PLAY CROQUET?!

A Darker Side to the Easter Bunny

I've been off work sick for the past two days... It seems like there is a dreaded lurgy going around, as everyone in my work team has been hit, just in time for the high season in a striking resemblence to the events of 5 years ago when COVID initially happened... Tomorrow I am planning to try and go back, we NEED people even though I'm still not really well enough... Today I'm having to try and do things as normal, so that means it's time to try and work on a little something for my blog... I'm not in the best mood, so something dark it is...

Today we're on a pathway to find out, and I'll warn you now, it's not all chocolate, cute animals and pastel colours... There's a darker side of Easter, there's a monstrous establishment where the chickens are forced to lay the brightly coloured eggs that decorate tables and homes for the festive season... They once they have been laid they are taken to another location where the gnomes fill them with chocolate... All under the watchful eye of the Easter Bunny and his minions. Not all of the minion bunnies are the cute cuddly kind, there are the darker, twisted overseers are just that, dark and twisted, controlling and a little evil... Yet they run a tight ship, but they look SO feisty, fabulous as they do it...

Taking Back The Dragon's Keep

I'm on such a fantasy kick at the moment, I cannot get enough of the ability to slip off into another world and let the fairytale world take over my mind... Slipping into a world where there is no negativity, the only darkness comes from the magical evils that balance the world of good and evil. In every good fairytale, there is a battle between good and evil, when one foe is vanquished, another will fill it's shoes in time... 
This time, the Queen of Hearts may have relinquished her hold over Wonderland, but there is a new dark power rising... Someone heard that the Jabberwocky was destroyed in the battle of good and evil, that person is coming to exact their revenge for its death... 

The next battle for Wonderland is unfolding at the old Dragon's Keep - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - since it's rightful owner has returned home to discover that Wonderland Card Soldiers - from Boudoir - have moved in to claim the territory... The dragon breeder, the ruler of the dark territory and person that gave the Jabberwocky as a gift to the Queen of Hearts, on the back of her own dark beast is newly back from the Forboden Realm... From the look on her face, she's furious... She's ready for war and now the Midnight Order has arrived, her babies are awake and ready to burn the cards to the ground...

The Doctors are IN!

I've been feeling shockingly shit for the last few days, I know that it's nothing too bad - just a migraine which although I'm not suffering like some people but head pains always seem very debilitating - and I guess that it has influenced my photography, as things tend to do, therefore today I've called the Doctors in and they are here to make a diagnosis for my 31 days of Halloween looks... 

The Doctor is in the house, but the diagnosis is NOT looking good... A second Doctor, Dr. Plague - a cute little release from MishMish at Kustom9 - is already in attendance, and that means there must be a bit of a problem... Now that Dr. Noxious - the mask being part of a set with a hat from Quills & Curiosities at the new round of The Warehouse - has wheeled in the Blood Brews Cart - from DRD - a proper diagnosis can be made... The patient laying on the Bat Bed - from Violetility at FaMESHed X - isn't looking too well, in fact he's looking pretty dead, I don't think there is anything that we can do to save him... Onto the next...

I've had a VERY busy day at work today and had to deal with more than my fair share of rude and disgusting customers. Remember people, it's NOT cool to treat people that work in retail like crap - it's not cool in general to treat anyone like crap, but just because someone works in retail doesn't mean they are any less important than you... 
It made me so grumpy, I had to control my anger but sometimes some of those people make me super furious, I was seeing red... I was out for blood, and so to dispose of the bodies that I slaughtered I decided to package them up and sell them to these asshat customers... It became my 11th day of Halloween look... 

The Crimson Room - from NinaX - while the blood was left to drip everywhere from the Fresh Meat - by Lilith's Den and Ghoul - that hung from the meat hooks. She'd take the parts down, cover them with blankets and wait until she was ready to sort the Packaged "Meat" - a gift from Junk Food at Satan Inc - into their different brands, ex-boyfriend, ex-girlfriend, nosy coworker or even the slightly exotic zombie meats... You're welcome to come and purchase some of this delicious fresh meat, pop down to the "Pleased to Meat You!" where I'll wear some of the samples and sell you a delicious slice of ex-boyfriend for my 11th day of Halloween look...

New Ways to make Easter Eggs

Easter is one of those very weird holidays, it seems to change every year and can be as early as the end of March or aslate as the end of April, but this year it falls on the second weekend in April. This means that as of yesterday there is exactly a month till it's chocolate egg day, one of the most confusing holidays that sees us getting chocolate eggs from a rabbit?! 
Since we're now on the month long run up to his busiest day of the year, as Santa spends time getting ready for Christmas, the Easter Bunny spends a month getting ready and preparing the chococlate eggs. There's always been rumours as to how the eggs are made, I'm about to reveal his secrets, but I'll warn you it's not exactly PG... 

Although, this is a fairly modern technique, the Easter Bunny has gotten bored of the conventional methods and is testing new things. This year he's gone for the kinky method as a trial run, he's trying to get the girls to make the eggs for him... For it to work successfully, he just needs to get the test subject excited enough. Its just needs a little Tough Love, and a few ropes tied in the right way...

The Mushroom Fae and Her Friends!

Since it's my Birthday Month, I'm doing all sorts of random pictures that make me happy... There's not going to be any coherency, I just want to do all the things that make me smile... 
Today I slipped into another of my mental fairytales... 
A dark cottage in the deepest parts of the woods, where the mushrooms grow in the long grass, you will find a small stone house. The mushrooms grow more abundantly here as there is magic within these walls... A fairy magic that keeps the mushrooms dancing... 

The little mushroom fae is drawing the magic into the glade, providing the mushrooms with their chance to dance. Everyone knows that mushrooms love to dance... Their dancing brings in the fawns of the Forest Tales - a re-release from gacha to instore regular release from YOKAI - and the mushroom fae will appear in the doorway of her cottage to feed these adorable little friends...

Magic will bring him to life...

I know that it's nearly Christmas, but right now I need to take a break from the festivities... I decided to make sure that I got myself a Christmas present that I wanted. This year, I'm thinking big, and have decided to take a little magic of the season into my own hands, since I doubt that Santa will be able to bring me what I want lol... This year I've decided to upgrade HellBone, I'm going for someone adorable...  

I think I'm going to test my magical theory out on my Sam Winchester doll... Bring him to life. That way if something goes wrong, he will be able to stop whatever demon I summon lol... 
Setting up carefully, Sam in the middle of Pentacle, in the middle of a demon trap, ya know just in case I get more of a Chucky than a Winchester. 
Pulling out the Haunted Tome - from Vae Victis, as a gift at SL Shop & Hop - and as I started to read the pages out loud, the papers ont he floor seem to come to life. A Little Peace On Earth

This time of year is all about Peace on Earth, and I feel like this year more than any for me that's a big thing I should be focussing on right now... Maybe not on Earth, that's a big ask in my mental state right now, BUT maybe it's time to think of a little Peace for Me! I'm in a war with my own emotions, missing my family, and I'm kinda wishing I could fast-forward to next year to see them... 
Time to spread a little Peace in my own Earth... 

Up in the stars, the Angels watch over the Earth, with the exception of the Rudhie Angel... Rudhie Angel is too busy with my personal well-being, selfish I know but it has to happen right now... 
The Angel in me is trying to get a little festive with it, enjoying my love of one of my favourite things at Christmas... Fairy Lights... Mushroom Tea

It's been my last day off for the rest of the week, I won't have a day to just rest and relax without work getting in the way so while I'm relaxing I'm going to let my mind slip into a fantasy world... 
While I was digging around in my inventory and my mind ended up going somewhere almost Wonderlandy, with a hint of a trip to the Caterpillar's home... 

Somewhere in the Caterpillar's Garden you might spot someone he is friends with wandering around and setting up her own little tea party... The Hatter and the Hare aren't the only ones that love a cup of tea in Wonderland after all... 
Everything is mushroom themed, since this little corner of Wonderland is all about the mushrooms. There are cookies that will make you bigger and muffins that will make you smaller, and the cute little Mooshi Mushrooms - from MishMish - will entertain with their cute little dances and songs...

Perfect for a get away!

Tomorrow I go back to work in RL and I'm not sure how looking forward to it I am... It's been a very restful few weeks and having to get back into the swing of normality just feels YUCK! 
Maybe I should do something bad, like murder someone and go on the run... Live a life like Bonnie and Clyde... Do it to celebrate an event's special event?! 

A murder as a tribute to the Necrosis for it's second anniversary celebrations, and possibly a request to whichever God is listening that I can get through dealing with the public again without murdering any of them...

Tiny Little Mushroom Fairy

So yesterday when the evil looking Sprite disappeared from the doorway into the fairy kingdom I did something bad... I stepped through the door into a world of Chronicles and Legends to find a little magic... 
The world is enchanting, and I'm sure there will be many more trips through the door...
The first being that I encountered happened to be an adorable little fairy with more than a tiny love for mushrooms. The pretty red and white kind, that always make me smile, and she invited me to take a seat and have some tea... 

Her little glade is filled with the gorgeous Red and White Mushrooms - ranging from the giant crystal adorned ones from Granola at Equal10, to the Fancy ones that match the amazing Mushroom Throne from Boudoir - I've never seen so many in one place. She even has the most adorable little Mushroom Head - from Ananas - as a hat!!! While her Seelie Gossamer Wings - amazing wings by the brilliant Celeste - fluttered as the sparkles in the air drifted through the flowers... 
While I'm talking about the wings I have a confession... These beautiful wings are the Seelie Bento Wings from Celeste that are now available at Chronicles and Legends Event - where a LOT of the items in this post came from I should add - BUT I used the hud that comes with them to colour them slightly to fit with my colour scheme... I wanted to show how gorgeous they are without the colouring changes I made, so I'm going to add the store ad and let you see for yourself!!! They are SO pretty!!

Hoppy Chocolate Eggs Day!

 Since it's Easter today, and since all I really get out of Easter is that it's the day the bunny brings the chocolate eggs, I decided to join the band wagon and get my bunny on... There are so many different bunnies out there today - the sickly sweet cute kind, the wannabe playboy kind and even the slightly dark and depraved looking kind, although those are still cute because let's face it ALL BUNNIES ARE!
Rather surprisingly, Bunny Me chose not to go down the Playboy-esque route and instead opted for adorably cute! I guess though her mind was made up when she made a discovery in the garden!!

Hopping around in her garden this morning, was the most adorable little pink bunny... Now being curiouser and curiouser like Alice - yes, the Wonderland version - she knew that Pink Bunnies rarely happen, and decided to follow it... 
Turning the corner into a different part of the garden - this is actually an adorable backdrop from Synnergy by the way - she couldn't believe her eyes... The bunnies - from Jian - had set up shop, and with the help of some heaving baskets stuffed full of delicious Easter Eggs - from Junk Food - they were sorting them to hide them in the gardens! 
Before anyone faints though, I KNOW I'm wearing white! I couldn't resist these amazing pants from CryBunBun. I think I may have even bought them last year, but they are just perfect Easter pants, every Easter should feature Bunny Butts!

Murder in the Office!!!

I've been at work for a few days now and things are getting a little crazy here in RL... Covid has taken over again and things are back in code red here, meaning that everything has quietened down and there's a lot less going on in my RL... It's driving me a little stir crazy with worry... 
So stir crazy that Rudh went to great lengths to get rid of some of her work stress... She even made sure that one of the problems was handled very delicately... 

I was always told if you cant fix something with a hammer, then duct tape works, and if you can't fix it with that then cutting up in a million pieces... What happened to start as a lunch date became a bit heated, somewhat erotic and finally things got annoying so she had to cut someone to pieces to get them to shut up... 
Least she looks gorgeous in her brand new MuggleBorn "Clio Lingerie", I just hope that the blood washes out and everything will be able to worn again!

Keeping the Earth, Safe in it's Place!

Fantasy Faire is up and running, it's one of the biggest events of the year in SL that has been running for years, and raises millions of Linden Dollars for Relay for Life... As you might imagine it's all fantasy based, but for a girl like me it feels like wonderland... I bought more than I might normally because it was for a good cause but now my hoard is overflowing with new fantasy pretties! 
I fell in love with my new balloon, and that lead to the angel in me to float in the galaxy, keeping the earth safely in it's place... 

So the whole thing started because I fell in love with the Holding Planet from Boudoir, and then found the amazing make-up from Venge... Both of these things are available at the RLF Fantasy Faire, and yes you cannot really see the make up clearly but I have added a close up below.
All the pretties as she floats through space... Dancing through the stars, keeping the Earth safe in it's place!
