Sad, Trapped and Lost

I'm feeling very low today, I don't know why I mean aside from the random things that I usually complain about lately... I'm worried about people I care about are sick, I've got the stress of the house and the fact that HellBone is getting stressed and pissed and overdoing things, and I'm very very very tired... Today, nothing is making me feel happy, and I need to find a way to get my head above water...

I feel like I'm sitting alone in the dark and I am just going through the motions to keep my brain working and not breaking... I'm trying to keep my joyful attitude joyful by bouncing around on one of the Gummy Chairs - a release from Junk Food - that has been abandoned in my mind since my teens. 
I'm feeling shite, I'm sorry that I've been ranting here and there and I'm just wishing I could go home and spend some time with my Mum... I wish I could be there to help her and I wish that I could get back to my own home...

A Trashy Kind of Day!

I need to take a moment to send a message to anyone reading that I'm sorry for being a bit of a Debbie Downer at the moment... I'm trying to keep mysef swimming but at the moment I'm barely able to find the energy to doggy paddle so that my head stays above water... It's just a lot going on at the moment, I'm kinda done with the stress of living here - you may have already guessed this fact - and soon I'm going to be reaching 40 and all I want for my birthday is a cuddle from my mummy... I cannot get one... I feel icky and gross and want to hide away from the world... 

I have been so stressed and getting frustrated, but I think that I'm going to just hide away for a while... I'll curl up somewhere dark maybe in a place I belong, like in a garbage bin like a piece of Premium Trash - as the set that is aptly named from piXit - as it's where I belong since I got mad and ripped up poor lil teddy... He was only trying to comfort me... I feel so bad about it, but please don't come at me, your opinions of my grumpy mood can be left in the Opinion Bin beside me - a release from Krescendo, for this month's FaMESHed - and since I'll probably get bored sitting here, with no one to talk to now that teddy is toast I will read them shortly...

A Gang of Trash Pandas

On my day off today I've been more than a little lazy. We had some news this morning that made me feel shell shocked and has left me hanging until we have more news... It's made me feel like a grumpy, cantankerous, old lady that wants to do nothing more than read her book and eat junk food... I'm not complaining, we're all allowed to have days like that, today is my day... 

Today I'm living my best life like a Trash Panda, and there will be no fucks given... 
I'm sitting around on the couch, though it may well be a wearable trash can - like the one from Junk Food - for all the mess I have around me. I'm piled under books, knitting and right now my laptop as I write my daily nonsense... 
Visually it would look like me sitting in a trash can in an alley, outside the Neon Cherry Club - with Cherry Skull Neons from Six Feet Under - with my crew of Trash Pandas, looking for a delicious treat...

The Free Red Light Library!

I was supposed to have the day off today, but being the Ass Man at work, that wasn't able to happen. It meant I had to leave and head into the city, and face the most disgusting Amsterdam that happens all year... It's horrible and I'd hate to be a tourist expecting a beautiful city on the day after King's Day... 
I seemed to spend a lot of time waiting, and it got my mind wandering... I was scrolling through the internet and wishing I lived in a place where I could have a free library with my neighbours... It led to my mind going off in a different directions... 

I was wondering about these free libraries, but rather than a neighbourhood library and books, I was wondering how things would go with a free "library" in the Red Light District... Perhaps they'd repurpose an old phone box, to become a London Style Shelf - like the one that was released by Boutique #187 for Man Cave - and they might have the odd toy to play with but I'm sure the hookers would LOVE some steamy reading to enjoy while they wait for their next client... 
Rudh definitely looks like she needs a bit of a break too, she's slipped on a simple Tetra Dress - from Garmonbozia, which is available until April 27th at FaMESHed - as it keeps her back uncovered and lets the ast client's possessive back scratches all over her back sting a little less...

Trick or Treating for Pennies

 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! The day of the darkest magic has finaly arrived and there is so much fun to be had... I'll admit to you now that this October has been a whole lot less Halloweeny than years gone by, and even though it feels like I've done a lot less Halloweeny stuff this year I'm kinda happy to just be able to relax and enjoy the chill in the air... 

I spent a long time trying to work out what I wanted to be this year for Halloween... I finally got my Hop(e) on - which also happens to be the name of the backdrop from K&S - and realised that posing in the sewer there was one character I had to be... The sewer seemed far too full of trash, and even the tentacle monster that dwells in the dark wants to escape... 
What kinda Halloween spooky lives in the sewer you might ask? For those of you that appreciate a good horror movie, there's only one real answer... I'm dressing all cute and evil clowish, I'm going to get my IT on... 
One of my store obsessions, Mug, made the perfectly girlie version of Pennywise's outfit - appropriately called Penny, and available until November 10th at Kustom9 - and with the addition of a little make-up to look a little Scherzo - in a make-up that is a Hunt Gift from Fallen Gods Inc, at the soon to shut Trick or Treat Lane - and my clowning around was ready...

Abandoned Puppies in an Alley

I've done working this week, after today I have two full days off and I cannot wait to relax and rest up and prepare for another 4 day work stretch at the end of the week... 
I feel like I might need to find myself somewhere new to hideout. As I was wandering around the city on the way home from work, I spotted some sad, new, little friends that had been abandoned in a cardboard box... The poor little babies are waiting and hoping that someone will find them and take them home, I think perhaps this time I might join them... 

After the week that I've had I think I need to find someone who will look after me... I'm fully house trained, and all it would take is a mountain of blankets, lots of delicious snacks and perhaps a cuddle or two... I don't require much. ALSO, I need the person that takes me home to take my puppies with us, I'm not leaving them out in the cold overnight, my little Box Buddies - from Tardfish, available until April 20th at The Warehouse - it's me AND the Puppies...

The Turtles have the Best Pizza

Today for my 12th look of Halloween I found myself dressing into something that very much reminded me of my childhood... I have been doing some dark, scary looks for the Halloween challenge, and since today is a special day for my family since my Grandma turned 90 today, so I didn't really feel much like being dark and scary, and let my mind regress to my childhood... Back to the 1990s, back to one of my childhood favourites... 

I used to LOVE the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the original late 80s/early 90s ones - not the scary looking white eyed ones that followed later - and so when I saw that Rosary had released a Ninja costume collection I realised that I had SUCH a hard time deciding which turtle I wanted to be... Leonardo was a cool leader, Donatello was super smart, Raphael was loyal and rather macho seriousness, but I guess Michaelangelo HAD to be the one I chose... He had NUNCHUKS!! Nunchuks are COOL!! Being one of the TNMT has more perks than just nunchuks though, there's PIZZA! Lots and Lots of Pizza!

What will the Future think?

The Celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee were bright and fun and perfect to show thanks to Queen Elizabeth II during the concert at the palace last night. I'm not a royalist, but she's given her life to supporting the country, and has been through so much as a guide for our nation... Now one of the reasons I'm talking about it, is because I was inspired with a section that they shared on the environment, it got me thinking about what we'd be leaving for the future... 
My mind was racin... A story came to life...   

As a lover of all things Mermaid, my mind went straight to "what would a mermaid from the future think of the seas we're creating?" You hear so often of the garbage that is being dumped into the oceans every year - I know that it's not just oceans being polluted but in this case that's what I'm thinking about more... 
In the Mermaid's Cove - available from Synnergy as a gorgeous backdrop - one of the Cyber Cove Mermaids - from Decoy at Cyber Fair - of the future has returned... Swimming through the waters, dodging the trash and wearing her oxygen tank to Just Breathe since the water is now toxic. 
I'd hate to know what they would be thinking about the state of the oceans...

Bye Bye Halloween, Till Next Year!

 Hard to believe that Halloween is over, and that if you listen very carefully you can hear the sounds of Mariah Carey and her Christmas song in the distance getting closer and closer every day... For now though I have to sneak up into the dark, scary attic to put my Halloween decorations away. 

I'm carefully packing things up... All my pumpkins and scary movies and costumes, neatly boxed until next year. Filling Boxes of scary movies - from Junk Food - accessories and costumes - from Violetility and Ananas - and smiling at all of the memories that they've given me this year! 
Is it me though, or is the Mariah Carey Music louder up here in the attic... It's coming from behind me where all the Christmas decorations are.. Dun Dun Dunnnnnn... I have to get outta the attic for a while lol...

Saving a Friend in Need

I keep watching these movies on youtube about people that find animals in random, not good for them situations, and I keep ending up crying watching them... I want them to save the animals, and I want them to save the animals too... I never see an animal like that, but in that situation I don't know how I'd react... 

Thanks to an amazing pose from Fashiowl, with the gorgeous puppy who had made his home on the street outside the bad of the bar, I was able to rescue a friend in need...

The Problems of Dogs in the Rain

Even though the sun is shining now, it's a little deceitful... There's more rain predicted, as if we didn't have enough already today... This morning when I woke up the skies had opened and it was POURING! Typical on a day when I have things planned that I need to do, but even worse, if you're a dog owner... 

I love my god I really do, but on days like this today, when I had to go out into the rain for her to have a wee... I'm seriously thinking "could I try training her to use the toilet?" 

I love to walk Izzy, make sure that she gets in her daily dose of tiddling where another dog has left a make, lots of sniffing and plenty of standing stone still waiting for another dog to be out of her way... The worst habit she has though is that she will poop, I have to pick it up, and then two minutes later she's pooping again and I have to carry not just one but TWO POOP BAGS!!! 

I was inspired by the release of the new Dog Park Items from Star Sugar, which included the epic Waste Station, and while I set up to go for a walk it started to rain.

Rescue Me from the Shadow Man

As it's nearly Halloween, I decided one dark night to head out on my own to do a little ghost hunting. Armed with some of the tools I'd collected after watching one too many episodes of Ghost Adventures, I walked a little too far, ending up in a dark and seemingly abandoned sewer. It seemed like the perfect place to bust out my tools and hunt some ghosts...
Until I woke something up in the dark, and found myself getting scared and lost in the dark tunnels... Amazingly I found a spot where there were just a few bars of cellphone signal, a place I could put out a call for help, waiting there cowering in the dark until my hero came to save me... 
My hero isn't the cape wearing kind... My hero is in a baseball cap and muddy jeans... My hero is my Daddy!

Lately my daddy is acting as my blogging inspiration at the moment... I say inspiration but actually it's more like bullying because basically my blogging mojo stopped working and he was standing there pushing me to try to get things done, though I guess that's what a parent's job is sometimes! Chopper has been like a Daddy to me for a long time now, and yes it's proper parenting none of this BDSM stuff. He's one of my closest friends and I wouldn't be able to do SL without him anymore, he's even good at rescuing me from the ghosties... Just ask Zak Bagans... No one messes with Bluto - right Chopper?!
So I had this pose from Secret Poses - which is available at The Men Jail Event - and when we went looking for a setting at Backdrop City, this Paparazzi "Moody Sewer" jumped out... With a few added touches like the garbage and leaves, and the addition of a Shadow Figure lurking in the halls, the stage was set.
