Shark Bites are Ouchies!

I NEED to do something silly and whimsical today or I am going to actually drive myself nuts... I had NO IDEA what I wanted to do, and in RL we have been so busy moving things around so that HellBone and I can move back home sometime next week that we're both getting frustrated and tired. It feels like we've not done much today but we did a LOT and tomorrow there will be a LOT more to come too... 
So right now I NEED something fun and silly before my head implodes! Dramatic I KNOW, but it is what it is now... So that's why this happened... 

I decided to take the dogs for a walk down at the beach by the Baywater Lighthouse - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - and we had one of those magical moments where as soon as they hit the water, they transformed into adorable little Shark Pups - from Aardvark - SUPER Cute and super fun... I pulled on a hat so that I could join in the fun, and was told that this Chomper Shark Hat - from Junk Food in the weekend sales this week - would keep me safe... Apparently it was the wrong information... One of the shark pups was a little hungry, and decided to take a Shark Bite - which is the shark on my leg and part of the Beach Day Gacha Collection from Mug at Equal10 now - outta my leg... OUCH!

How Far Will I Float?

I've set my status on blogging sites, I've caught up on everything that I need to do, I am packed I think, and ready to go and I've done my last minute weekend shopping before I leave LOL... I guess it's time for me to go back home and face that music, which hopefully will sound like the Take That concert on the 27th, but may also be a lot more stressful since I'll be dealing with my parents and everything surrounding Mum's cancer issues too... 

I stuffed the cat in her travelling bag, the case is fully loaded and I'm ready to wander into the North Sea and pray I don't get smushed by a big ship crossing it's way down the narrow strip of water... I KNOW there are easier ways to travel but it's been SO HOT I'm taking the coolest option right now LOL... 
For now though I'll say, wish me luck and keep that wish going for the 10 days I'm gone please I think I'm gonna need it more than I ever have before! Don't miss me too much, I won't be posting but I will be lurking around on Social Media somewhat! I'll see you on July 1st for some Summer Sunshine!!!!

In Need of Magic Spells!

Life really needs a little magic, getting news and dealing with all of the news that I've had over the last few months since the start of 2026, there's issues in the world, there's issues in MY world and I'm barely holding it together... I NEED a little magic... I don't want it, I NEED it and we all know there is a massive difference... I'm going to take matters into my own hands, and try to conjure something up... 

At this point I wish I could channel some of my inner Ursula, ya know the one that sings "Well I fortunately know a little magic, it's a talent that I always have possessed"... If you don't know, it's time to go watch a Disney film about a Little Mermaid... 
I know that my outfit is a little Witchy today, it's the fault of the dress and the amazing Vampyre Gloves - from Psycho Barbie - but when the magic was flowing from my fingers and Aetherlune reaction happened - the Aetherlune Jewels were released at the Magic Fair by Static and although the event has closed, they should be available at the mainstore - and the magic of the Crystal Cauldron started to glow... Sheep Counting Shepherdess

Today was my day off, I spent the day doing things to relax when I wasn't working on getting the house work done... I wanted to sleep, I wanted to curl up and hide under a blanket and not come out... When I did try to take a nap, there was far too much on my mind and I couldn't get myself to fall asleep if I even tried... 

I had to reach out and seek a little assistance... I reached out to someone I KNEW might help me and she took a few minutes but then took a long time rounding up her herd... Slowly Moving In

It's kinda happened, HellBone and I have almost finished moving into the most different location from our real house, and it's feeling a LOT like we are on holiday at the moment... I don't think the cat has even started to fully understand that we are here for a while and she keeps waiting near any door that she hasn't explored behind yet...
He had to go out for work today and left me to settle in, do some unpacking and try to find my place here, whilst keeping the cat calm... That's what I was supposed to do... It didn't really pan out that way... 

I spent a LOT of my day doing things to settle us in, and make it feel a little more homey... The rest of the day, I spent a fair amount of time laid back on my bed reading a book to look after the cat...

Moving all that Emotional Baggage

This week and next are CRAZY busy weeks in my RL. From February 26th, HellBone and I don't have access to our house in RL because we are having some MAJOR rennovations done that are necessary and we HAVE to get things done. SO, HellBone and I are tidying, packing, sorting and prepping not only ONE but TWO places because luckily for us, my boss was willing to let us live on one of their properties... I have large amounts of anxiety over my roughly 6-month temporary relocation, but for now I'm just getting things ready... 

Every time I have a day off it's like the typical Moving Day scene - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - there are boxes and cleaning supplies and mess everywhere... It's not just the stuff though, it's all the emotional baggage that I'm carrying - represented so perfectly by The Bearded Guy's What I Carry box - that is making this harder. I am exhausted, I am running on high anxiety and I can feel the clock ticking in a count down to when we are needing everything done and ready by... The cat isn't helping too as she's stressing while the house empties around her and she screams at the top of her little lungs in the voice of her people... I wish there was more hours in the day, just a few hours more then I'd be able to have a proper dinner, rather than just some pizza in my mouth as I dash past... Although Mouth Pizza is flipping delicious...

A Weekend with the Class Pet!

As it's the weekend, many people have the next two days off...I've been working Saturdays in the cheese shop for  while so I am not one of them but come Sunday I can relax a bit or at least not have to go to work anyway LOL... Relaxing won't happen until we move into the flat for a few months... 
As a kid I ALWAYS loved when the school bell rung on Friday afternoon and it meant we had two days without school. There was always one thing that I'd heard about with friends in other schools though that we never had the experience of... Someone always had the luck of being able to take home the class pet... 

One of my friends even got to bring her class rat home once, I don't think that her mother was too pleased at having a rat in the house over the half-term holidays but it was fun to be able to see it for a while... SO in homage to that I decided that this weekend I'd be the one to bring the class pet home, since I was always a teacher's pet I think I deserve the treat don't you? 
I've packed up all my school supplies and I'm ready to head home, but I cannot forget to collect B-Rat-nee Spears - who is a Button Ears Dumbo Rat from Aardvark at the current round of ACCESS until February 8th - and I'm all set to go home!!!

KABOOM Loading... The Machine Uprising!

Today has been a day when it felt like the world went BOOM... I know there is SO MUCH going on in the world right now, we're teetering on the edge of some pretty bad times but I am also dealing with things in my RL situation that I've mentioned before but they are getting closer and more daunting day by day... 
Today we discovered the officialy starting date for the work on our home, I'm not looking forward to February 27th... It's D-Day... The day that my own little world will go BOOM... 

I needed to do something a little bonkers to make me feel a little less high-anxiety and thought maybe if the BOOM was able to happen, then I'd be able to relax... BOY, did that happen. I couldn't stop giggling as this picture came together on my screen... 
The outfit I wore as I set the flaming match to the fuse of my Bomb - a Boom Baby Holdable Bomb from piXit - was provided by the Division Union - actually the Division set released by AsteroidBox at Kustom9 - as part of my uniform for the resistance... Apparently the machines are coming to life, raising a little hell and I'm not just talking machines in the military... As I was sending out the Emergency Broadcast I had the shock of my life, there on the balcony of the office building, amongst other robots of varying shapes and sizes, was my Funky Fridge - from Junk Food - and my toaster!!!! It's an Armageddon of robotic proportions...

The Gingerbread Slay

Honestly it's hard to believe that it's Christmas week already, even with the fact that it feels like we've been talking about Christmas for ages now, I'm still shocked that it's almost here... Is that weird?! I guess it's because I don't feel ANYWHERE near the Christmas Spirit because there have been so many things dragging my mind into darker places than I've been in a LONG LONG time... I'll talk more about that after the happiness of the festivities are over, but for now I'm going to throw the prettiness into the ring, shake it up and see what happens... The darkness seeped through just a little and took over the gumdrop candy cuteness... 

I am in the mood for a little chaos, a little mayhem and a little evil... I've decided that my version of the Sugar Plum Fairy would rule her little corner of Sugar Land with a somewhat deadly iron fist... Her home at the Gingerbread Manor - which is a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis, that I have actually butchered to use in the background of my picture, and have actually added the official Ad Poster to the bottom of the post... Oh and I'm sorry Synnergy.Tavis, the backdrop is gorgeous but I needed it to be a little different - in the Gingerbread town is perfectly positioned  to watch over her Gingerbread subjects...
That's not all... It's the perfect place for her to be able to get a Gingerbread Throne - from BackBone for the MadPea Advent Calendar - dragged out to the best view point for the public executions of the guilty in the sugar wars... Polar Flair in the Alpine Drift

It's getting a little colder here but no where near as cold as some places out there at this time of year, and I heard it will be getting colder, but I don't think we'll be seeing much snow over the Christmas period... Before the holidays start though I feel like I need a little break from the madness, I'm not feeling very Christmassy and therefore a break to stop and reset might do me some good... 

I am NOT a fan of Skiing, in fact I've NEVER done it. I'm much more the type of girl that would rather curl up in the Ski Lodge with a book... In fact at the moment I'm reading a really funny one, full of murder and mayhem and spice, but it's set in an Alaskan Ski resort paradise as a Winter Retreat for Serial Killers - it's called Slay Ride by Lauren Biel... 
It did kinda influence my decision as a blogger today, I wanted to be in the snow, I wanted to try and do some Skiing, although that was the plan rather than what actually happened... When I got there, the Polar Bears - from Aardvark, available until January 12th at Kustom9 - were already using the Alpine Drift Slopes, showing off with their Polar Bear Flair...

Paws & Disorder for Christmas Chaos

Pft it's getting closer and closer to Christmas and I get to a certain point in December and think "SHIT" I have so much left to do still and not a lot of time to do it... HellBone is done with work for the year, and I'm going to be making him a list that's similar to the one that Santa makes, only he will be on the naughty list he doesn't get things done... 

Santa has left me as one of his favourite Ho Ho Ho's to decorate the Gift Room in his home at the North Pole - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis by the way - and it didn't take long before it became total chaos... One of the helper elves was pestering the poor old, grumpy black cat, while the other sat on the table and forgot his wrapping to watch me work with a dreamy look in his eyes... I was too busy trying to organise the cats that were causing chaos, too many Paws and a lot of Disorder, which sounds like a damn good name for a movie "Paws & Disorder" - which are a collection from Aardvark at The Arcade - and makes things a LOT more silly fun than decorating a Christmas tree any right to be...

Gingerbread Magic!

You can kinda tell I've had the day off today, a much needed day of rest so I can look through all the things I need to work on and see what crazy interesting things I can come up with... I want to find a little magic, I NEED to find a little magic, and I want something to make me feel Christmassy... 
Let's close our eyes and find a little of the Christmas magic... 

One of my favourite things about this time of year is a sudden need for some gingerbread cookies... I haven't eaten them all year, I've been resisting the urge and now I'm going to enjoy them dipped in some coffee... I cannot wait to taste them... 
I find myself a drawn to the magic of the cinnamon, the ginger, the crunch and apparently I'm not the only one... The Last Day of November

Well Hi!!! It feels like forever since I had a chance to sit down and talk to you here... I've been such a busy girl in RL that eveerything seemsneglected and then I add to that the way my brain is fully and hurting, and I'm just tired... SO TIRED... Yet here we are, at the end of Novemeber and it doesnt seem hard to think it but how in the holy hell did we get here?! Pft, I guess it's time to try and get into the spirit of the Christmas Season... 

As Brit comedian, Michael McIntyre once commented, once December comes everyone starts discussing the "emotion of Christmassy", the feeling that we get for this festive holiday and I'm looking forward to the moment I get to make my announcement that "today I felt Christmassy for the first time" but right now I'm more interested in being a hibernating bear than celebrating Christmas LOL... 
Still I am going to make an effort, I HAVE to for my own mental wellbeing, and maybe a little Christmas sparkle will make life just that little happier... I've been busy in RL sorting things for the big renovation next year but that meant I was able to get my Christmas decorations out of storage... Is it just me or do we put the same little trickets and decorations out every year?! I cannot bear to spend a Christmas without them, each one is like a little trip down memory lane... A reminder of happy times and the sparkles of days gone by...

The Wolves and The Enchanted Snowman

There is still a lot of interesting things going on in the Enchantment's Frostbitten Graveyard. The inhabitants have come out to play in full force, and their awakening has drawn in more friends to explore the frostbitten landscape... For some reason a snowy graveyard always feels a little Dickensian in it's drama to me, maybe that's just my love of the Victorian Gothic ghost stories perhaps, but I love the frostbitten temperatures at this time of year... 

Since the fresh snow has now coated the Lost Cemetary - an older but still amazing backdrop from K&S - leaving it looking a little Frostbitten - thanks to items created by InkMe, for this month's Enchantment - it seems that the cemeteries inhabitants have been busy building snowmen that may be a little darker than outer appearances would have you believe... The snowman whose eyes seem to glow and has a strange set of roots that seem a a little rotten... Something is amiss with that snowman, I guess that is why the Wild Wolves - a new release from Aardvark available until December 8th at ACCESS - are being fairly cautious around it... 
The protector of the wolves is a guardian of Blind Faith - a headdress from MoonSha, available at Enchantment - but she will hav to work some serious magic to rid this poor little snowman of whatever magic is making him crazy...

Tricks or Treats for Halloween

Tomorrow is the big day, the one we've been waiting for ALL MONTH... Tomorrow is Halloween. The spookiest day of the year when the spirits come out to play... There seems to be something so special at this time of year, and although sometimes I wish it was celebrated here like it is in America, I've done all I can to make things happy... It's a long shot considering everything that I've got going on at the moment in RL, but I've carved my pumpkin and got some candy ready just in case... 
In SL I have other plans... In SL I am getting ready to take my own kids out on a mission to Trick or Treat... 

I let the kids pick their Halloween costumes this year, and we have made a collective decision as to what we're going to be... They are a pack of little ghosts, some Meow-oween Cats and Howl-oween Dogs - both of which are from Aardvark, with the cats at Kustom9 and dogs at ACCESS - and so I as their responsible adult I've decided to be their Ghostbuster... 
Things have been successful so far... The kids have all had lots of delicious treats... The last house on the block is known as "La Villa" - which happens to be a backdrop from FOXCITY - usually has the bestest of treats which are set out on a Candy Chair - from Junk Food - for easy access... 
Since I won't be around tomorrow though due to being stuck at work until late... HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

Cinder Moon and the Sabertooth Beasts

Days off are lovely at this time of year, or at least I think so... I love having a reason to be hiding in the coziness of my house while the weather is causing chaos around me... I love that this time of year things are getting darker, and since it's spooky season, everything is just that little bit more mysterious... 
I LOVE being all kinds of different characters at this time of year, although I'm finding it somewhat difficult to get motivated this year... I don't know how to get in the zone, maybe I NEED to speak to the mystic gods and ask for some magical assistance... 

Today on a trek into the jungle I've come to ask for assistance from the Cinder Moon Druid - dressed in a Cinder outfit from Enfant Terrible at Engine Room until October 20th, and a Druid Moon Staff from Simply Shelby - at the Sons of the Sun Temple - which is a backdrop from The Bearded Guy - and she's the person that may be able to help... 
Beware her Sabertooth Beasts - a gorgeous Engine Room release from Aardvark - though, they can be soft and sweet little kittens but mess with their mistress and you're in big trouble and whatever you do, don't call them tigers...

Sneaky Fairy GodPossums!

I'm super tired after a long day at work today and I cannot wait until it's time for bed... I'm home now though and tomorrow I'll be having a lazy at home day... Right now though I NEED to get my brain relaxing... I'm going to put on  some old children's cartoons or something and let the colours drag me away to a happy, restful place... 

For some reason my mind started getting all excited thinking about the original, and therefore best, version of the My Little Ponies, which in turn led to my brain getting Rudh all rainbowed up and sparkling for a trip to a My Little Pony-esque world...

Harvest Treats Time!

I know that Autumn doesn't officially start until September 22nd, but that isn't about to stop me from getting into the Autumn Spirit as it's my favourite time of the year... I LOVE the autumn, and although I'm trying hard to avoid all things pumpkin right now, I'm going to start letting the leaves fall, collecting the conkers that the trees gift us and wrapping myself in lots and lots of snuggly blankets while I cuddle a cup of tea and read a book... 
There are a few tasks that I have to get done this time of year... I started to assist the mushroom folk in their harvest, and today I get to harvest something even more magical... 

Being a magical being has it's perks and that's why the plants in my perfect little magical greenhouse are now ready for the harvest of some very interesting treats... The Sugarfora - from dust bunny at  kustom9 until September 10th - have been growing hard and have some delicious treats for us this year... The hanging Macaron, the Donut Tree and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Bush keep me happy with delicious treats all Winter if I am lucky, I have already got a crop of Iced Pink donuts - in a bucket from Junk Food - and am testing the chocolate chip cookies which I have to tell you are DELICIOUS!!!

Peach Treats for the Wee Cows!

Well guess who is back again, it's been a VERY busy few days with a visit from my parents but I'm finally back and have SO MUCH to catch up on that I don't really know where to start at all... This visit was mostly for the SAIL Amsterdam event, but entertaining people that are staying in your house definitely feels draining lol... I love my parents, I couldn't ive with them... 
I have a lot of things to catch up on right now... Plants need watering, and there are animals that need caring for on the farm... Let's go do that, it will help to relax me...

A Puppy Awakening!

I have to admit that even though today has been the first weekend off I have hd in a few weeks and that I had SUCH HUGE plans to get things done, I find myself feeling sluggish. I'm being slow in everything as I've got no desire to do anything that involves moving... I want to read, I want to laze around, I want to sit back and chill but I have so much to do... Someone wake me up, make me some coffee or something?!

I can't pick up my phone today, without being lost to doom scrolling. I can't sit on the sofa without staring off into space. I can't do anything without letting my mind wander to other things and distract me from the main thing I should be focusing on... 
I sat Rudh down to do her make-up, her Ghoufriend Make-Up - from HAUNT available until August 20th at Midnight Order - if you will, and it was all going well, until she suddenly woke up at the arrival of the cute-looking but somewhat evilly divalicious Pawradise Pups - from Aardvark, and yes they are cute I'm just being silly calling them evil, at Collabor88 until September 7th - arrival... Their arrival means that the Demons are Coming... I better hurry up and get ready...
