Wanna Fight? Bring It On!

Grief is such a terrible and weird thing for anyone to go through... They say there are 5 main phases, but honestly it feels more like you're on a sliding scale and can go backwards or forwards at any time... I feel like I'm taking two steps forwards and then four back, only to move another five forwards and three back... If I could just work through the stages without any of this back and forth, that might be good for me right now... 
At the moment I'd say I'm definitely feeling angry about things... It's time to vent again... Please bear with me... 

When you lose anyone it doesn't matter who or how, even discovering someone you barely knew has passed can be a strange feeling of grief but, and maybe this will sound weird, I am angry about a few things and I guess the guilt of being mad at them isn't helping me heal... 
We've known that mum was sick since November, that's true... My parents decided that it was better for us to NOT know how bad things were so that we'd continue with our crazy busy lives as normal. I don't hate them for their choice, but mentally I had less than a month to prepare and yes I KNOW there'd never be enough time to get used to the idea that someone you're very close to is terminally ill, but it might have helped a little now if I'd known earlier?! Maybe?! 
Also, and this may sound even weirder... My grandmother - Mum's Mum - has been sick with demensia, unable to get out of bed, and wishing that she would be able to just sleep and not wake up for almost 2 years now... She's 94... WHY DID MUM HAVE TO GO FIRST?! I love my Grandma, I've been mentally preparing to have to say goodbye for a long time, and she out-lived my mum... Why couldn't mum have done what her mum did and live to be as old as the dinosaurs?! 
Perhaps it's weird to think like that, and I promise it's not the most forefront thoughts in my mind, but it's there... It's hurting and I NEEDED to release... Some day I will get back to blogging properly when I feel up to it, following the schedule I set and managing targets but right now... Anyone wanna fight me?

Mythical Gargoyle or Dark Goddess?!

It's been a weird day today and not entirely in a good way... My mum has been taken into hospital and we are waiting now to see what is going on. I'm on the edge of my seat, and hiding from everything I should be doing today... Of course there is only one thing I could do while I wait and that is to slip into a world of my own fantasy, I used to say the more dead I looked the happier I was... I think now the more fantasy I go, the more scared I feel and am searching for a disconnect... Somewhere a little magical where the beings that can be found hiding in the dark are a lot less scary than real life things... 
Today I met the most gorgeous, ethereal being in a dark and gothic ruin... 

As I was exploring the Ivyfall Ruins - which happens to be one of the most gorgeous new backdrops from Synnergy.Tavis - I stopped to gaze into the pretty birdbath that was glowing in the moonlight... I was mesmirized by the way the flowers growing all over the walls and the way that they seemed to glitter in the moonlight streaming through the arches... 
It wasn't long until I could feel a presence in the room... In the shadows, a mystical gargoyle with a third eye and two mouths in her hands... She's marked as a nightmare - thanks to the amazing Nightmare Fades from Psycho Barbie, available until June 29th at Disturbed - and since it's her job watching over the ruins of this magical place, her third eye seems fixated on me...

Roses on the Royal Grave

As always with me you can NEVER tell me which type of mood I'll be in when I start to plan out something for a blog post of the day. I love the fact that I can just open my wardrobe, see what is new to play with and then just see where an item that I picked out will take me... 
Today was a dark and sad and depressed kinda mood today and the result was something partially medieval princess, partially gothic funeral... 

After the death of the king, his undead princess bride was only able to briefly attend his burial before the people of the town started arriving to pay their respects with the rising of the sun... 
She's still bleeding through her pearls from the last bite he ever took, and she hides her face and hair under the trappings of a Solemn Bride - from Static - but just before the sun rises she takes one last rose and casts it into the open grave as the Gravediggers - which is actually the name of the backdrop from FOXCITY - start to bury him in the eternal darkness... 
On a side note, aside from the story I was creating in my head as I set out this blog post, I HAVE to make a little point of sharing this gorgeous Nightshade tube style dress with you... It's part of an outfit from Psycho Barbie, that is available at the main store, with a fluffy off the shoulder cardigan/jacket also being available!!! Time to Rehydrate

I had a day off and decided to spend the day with lots of music and dancing and it made getting my chores done much, much, much more interesting... I'm on a happy cloud nine where music is concerned at the moment... Next month I get to go back to the UK to see Take That - as well as my parents and sister - and yesterday I booked tickets for HellBone's Birthday to see Five Finger Death Punch on their anniversary tour in Europe next year... I know that they are total opposites musically but I LOVE both... I'm a happy girl now... 

So today, I've taken myself out for a little more dancing, the club "Night by Cyber" - a backdrop from Vile - I got dressed up in the most Divine Set - from Psycho Barbie - the comes with a gorgeous spiked corset, dress, garters and stockings. The metal spikes reflect the light and the shiny fabric will catch the eye... 
As much as dancing is fun, I might have to take a few minutes for some fresh air and a chance to sneakily rehydrate - from my Midnight Flask by Boutique #187 at the current round of Dubai - before I head back in to dance some more... I'm not as young as I used to be, this is a lot harder than it looks...

Everyone has their hobbies, and the fact that we all have so many different hobbies is wonderful because it shows how unique we can all be... Some love sports, some love music, others love crafting things be that cooking or knitting or pottery or making something wonderful with your hands...
I love to be creative and use my blog to do that, I also love to junk journal and knit, I love music of all different kinds and you should know by now that I read and read and read... Mostly Smut but I read...

Some other people love movies, HellBone is a movie lover, but with so much choice, how hard is it to choose a movie these days... I know that HellBone is a horror movie lover, I would spend forever getting lost in Middle Earth and on a bad day The Princess Diaries helps me feel better, but there are other types of movies out there... In Need of Magic Spells!

Life really needs a little magic, getting news and dealing with all of the news that I've had over the last few months since the start of 2026, there's issues in the world, there's issues in MY world and I'm barely holding it together... I NEED a little magic... I don't want it, I NEED it and we all know there is a massive difference... I'm going to take matters into my own hands, and try to conjure something up... 

At this point I wish I could channel some of my inner Ursula, ya know the one that sings "Well I fortunately know a little magic, it's a talent that I always have possessed"... If you don't know, it's time to go watch a Disney film about a Little Mermaid... 
I know that my outfit is a little Witchy today, it's the fault of the dress and the amazing Vampyre Gloves - from Psycho Barbie - but when the magic was flowing from my fingers and Aetherlune reaction happened - the Aetherlune Jewels were released at the Magic Fair by Static and although the event has closed, they should be available at the mainstore - and the magic of the Crystal Cauldron started to glow... Warning Signs in the Club Tonight!

I may have had the day off today but I've been a busy girl... I'm trying to keep myself occupied at the moment, living in this craphole of a flat... They even asked me if I'd be interested in covering shifts downstairs, and I KNOW the moment that they get me on their list that any time it's busy I WILL be called to come downstairs and help any time it's busy. No thank you, really... I don't want that at all... 
If I was going to take on another job it would be something totally different from the work I already do, aside from the fact that I am entertaining people as they buy cheese, I think I'd need to do something of a little different sort of entertainment?! 

When I first started Second Life, I like a lot of people started as a dancer and an escort. I read a LOT of smut and love it in lots of different forms. I was always a rather bad girl, until I settled down with my hubby that is captain vanilla and like a big teddybear... I love him, don't me wrong but I'm kinda dying to be a bad girl LOL... Maybe that's the new job I've got to start... Maybe I should go back to being an escort and let the bad girl run free... 
It's play time - as the signs on the toy shelves from Krescendo - state, and this club is known to get a little wild... Death Loses His Angel

It's the start of March, and therefore the high season for me starts as it's the start of my Birthday month and the start of the end of my 30s... On March 19th, I turn 40... I cannot wait to celebrate this amazing new chapter in my life, but I'm kinda wishing this year would be done already... Now things are getting a bit worrying as Anna - my darling little kitty - is wobbling on her feet and I'm a bit scared for her too... So I'm starting my month with the amazing death of my 30s... 

Death has been having a field day but today, the death of his beautiful angel of death... The girl of the shoulder that she sits on is about to enter her 40s causing her a massive amount of shock lol... He's broken, he is shedding a tear and on his knees to worship the loss of his gorgeous angel... Chinese New Year

It feels like a lot is happening all at once in a Spiritual sense at the moment... There are so many different religious and cultural things going on in the world at the same time right now and it feels kinda different that everyone is celebrating something spiritual all at once. It would be nice if it would unite the world a little more, bring us all together since we're all a little closer to our spirituality right now but I doubt very much that will be the case since we all feel so broken... 

Now I know that I am NOT a religious person. I definitely believe in spiritual things, I am always going to believe in fairies and magic, and I LOVE all of the stories from different religions that are uplifting and full of meaning, and I REALLY hope I'm not going to cause offence but I don't like to think anyone's beliefs are more important than anyone elses... I love that we can all be different and believe what we choose, so long as it doesn't harm anyone - yes I KNOW that Wars are constantly, even now, being fought over religious reasons - but it would be such a boring world to live in, if EVERYONE thought the same, believed in the same, dressed the same or acted in the same way... That's my 10cents anyway...
I'm not trying to offend anyone, but I wanted to look a little at some of the current spirituality taking place that I know little about... Besides things I learnt at school there is SO MUCH TO KNOW about two big things taking place right now... Today I will be looking a little at the Chinese Lunar New Year.
So, for us that are not in the know, what is Chinese New Year?
Well apparently it's the most important Chinese Holiday, covering 15 days to celebrate the start of the Lunar New Year, and this year it started on February 17th - yes I KNOW I'm two days late, but I'm moving houses at the moment, give me some slack lol... The reason for the celebration is that it's a start of change, it celebrates family - often honouring ancestors - saying goodbye to the old and welcoming the new fortune for the new year. The whole celebration will culminate 15 days after it starts - so that's March 3rd - with the Lantern Festival!
Another interesting thing that I've often seen but never really thought much of, is that the Chinese Zodiac characters are animal based. Now there is a LOT of information about this, and I could basically write a whole other blog post for it, but this year is the year of the Horse - apparently as I was born in 1986 I am from the year of the Fire Tiger! 
Anyway, thank you for listening to me ramble and learn something new as I went along, I actually really enjoyed looking into something I knew little about and putting together a post for it. I think I will try it more often, and don't worry as always there will be something pretty to look at with a list of what I've got in the picture too... Just accept my ramblings LOL you know you want to...

Go Away Cupid!

It's Valentine's Day but it's ben a long hard day for me at work and now I'm more than happy to curl up with a delivery pizza and an episode of the random crap that I am currently binge watching. Tomorrow is a HUGE day for us, tomorrow is moving day and we're both a little knackered but all will be OK and once we're moved things SHOULD calm down a little... I hope... For now though, I don't need any hearts and romance, all I want is a chance to curl up and get comfy... 

I'm so lucky that I'm done playing the Second Life Dating Game... Hell was someone I met in SL 16 years ago now and though we started as friends, I've been his RL missus for almost all of that time! I met him in RL as a friend, we parted ways as a couple and had a long distance thing for 6 months before he asked me to move in, not just his home but to his homeland... I'll never call myself Dutch, but here I am... 
The SL Dating Game - which in the picture happens to be a blaink backdrop - always felt like such hard work, and you hear so many things going round about people cheating and lying and causing drama to those that are looking for love... I often feel like it would be a lost cause for me if I had to try again, and I'd rather go on a TV dating show like the 1990's Blind Date with Cilla Black LOL... 
Still, Cupid - and his companions like those released from MishMish, available until March 6th at Collabor88 - needs to stay well away from me, I'm happy in what I got even though it's not perfect. Gummy Bears Don't Go THERE!

Sunday is always officially been the start of my weekend, for the longest time anyway... So what does any party girl like to do on her weekend... PARTY of course... A working week for me is often busy and stressful, and people irritate the everloving piss out of me, but that just wants me to let my hair down and go crazy... So for the party this weekend, expect some interesting shinanigans LOL... Maybe something involvin gummy bears lol... 

Random I KNOW, but that's just me and besides who doesn't love a good gummy bear... I was given a bag of Haribo Gummy Bears and they somehow became my inspiration LOL... 
So when I was being weirdly random and digging through my hoard to find something to wear over a pair of ripped fishnet stockings - that just happen to be a creation from Psycho Barbie, that comes with ripped and non-ripped BOM versions plus a pair of BOM panties - it could have been a look that went in any direction... Then I had a call, that lead to a game of playtime and a little bit of drinking, and before long kinkier things were happening than just a fun game with gummy bears... This MAY have lead to Gummy Bears being hidden in places that could have caused stickiness and SHOULD NOT be hiding places for candy...

Trouble Under The Sea!

When I get a random idea for a blog post they tend to be the ones that make me smile the most. I will always admit that half the time when I start a picture I have NO idea where it will go or what the outcome will be but I have to say that these are the pictures that make me happiest. The entire reason that I blog is a chance to forget the world around me and find a little happiness, so the ones that make me laugh most are the best for me... 

Today was one of those days, and so while I was putting my ideas together I decided to go for a little swim and see where the ideas went... 
I was wearing a bathing suit - which is actually an amazing outfit from Psycho Barbie called Narkissa that ISN'T a bathing suit but looked perfect as a wetsuit, and I'm sorry to the Psycho Barbie team for misuse of their clothing lol - and splashing around in the water. I took a deeper dive down into the water and that was when the trouble went from barely there to TERRIBLE. I guess it may well be my own fault though as I have to stop myself reading so much of that monster smut LOL...

Demonic Nuns at the Bloodlight Chapel

It's Halloween season, and I've been able to play with my first Halloween pictures and it felt like such an amazing feeling being able to get myself all spookified... 
I had so many ideas, I didn't know where to start so I ended up heading to the most amazing place to start the Halloween season... I've been wandering the graveyard until I bumped into a new, dark little friend...

I've had a long day at work but fancied spending a little time on my own to write something and let off some steam... 
I got soaked on my way home today, so now I'm sat curled under a blanket, listening to some soft music that will make me happier and find myself singing along...

When you hear that favourite song, it alters the mood and no matter how you are feeling it can be hard not to sing along... The first few notes just hit right... 
For me there are lots of songs that remain my favourites but no matter my mood if I hear "Wash it all away" by Five Finger Death Punch, or Take That's "Make this life yours" - in fact ANYTHING by Take That really - I will be much happier when the song is done... It always makes me laugh when I tell people my two favourites are Take That and Five Finger Death Punch...

Apocalyptic Chic!

Tomorrow is King's Day, it's a very important day in the Netherlands and I've spoken about it before but will definitely be talking about it tomorrow too... For now though, it's King's Night and already the place seems to be going crazy... I love seeing the people having fun, but I hate the disrespect and almost fighting attitude that some people seem to be having... Can't this be about fun and freedom, not fighting like it's the start of the Apocalypse... 

There is something about Apocalyptic Chic, the ripped fabric, the metals and wearing bullets as an accessory... I've never even seen a gun in real life, air rifles aside, but in Second Life I seem to use them kinda often... I don't know what I'd do with a real gun, I'd probably be shaking to much to be able to put anything to use... I mean, thinking about it, I don't think I'd be much help in the Apocalypse, but I KNOW I'd at least look good while thing were burning down around me...

Tree Shopping

Today was my day off, it's working now until Sunday and working in retail at this time of year SUCKS with a capital suck... I've had a lovely day off today though, taking some time to get some pictures done and play with some of my SL Christmas decor, as well as doing a little RL wrapping and some general household chores... 
There was one thing that I needed to make sure I did today... It involved trees... 

There have been so many things on my to-do list today, and one of those was going to a tree farm. This year we HAVE to have a fake tree since my monster in law is moving into my house when we go home to the UK over New Year. Normally I LOVE going to choose myself a real tree, with it's soft needles and the scent of pine. 
So today, I took myself over to the gorgeous Moochie where 'Tis the Season with my St.Bernard Puppy - from Jian - in his soft reindeer outfit and myself dressed in something warm and some big ol' Alice Boots - which are the new release from PSYCHO.Byts - that are perfect for any time you wanna look good whilst having warm toes! Our mission, pick out a tree, roll it up and take it home to adorn my home and make it festive!!!

Missing You

I know sometimes I'm random and I'm a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions, but I made a RL mistrake today and it's hurt me and I feel a need to get it out and talk to someone. I don't wanna burden my hubby with it, and my family and friends are all busy so why not vent here and let it out this way, maybe someone out there can relate... 
It's getting closer to Christmas... This Christmas will be my first without my puppy Izzy, and even though we lost her in February, I caught myself about to buy her something as a gift for Christmas this morning...

I know it seems like a silly thing, I was buying a gift for my kitty... Anna has become so used tobeing the Queen of the house, but I spotted something so adorable for the puppy that I ALMOST bought it before I remembered that Izzy will be eating her Christmas Turkey with other pets from my past... It brought a tear to my eyes, and I fought hard not to let the hubby see...
Needed to find a way to get it out of my system. I miss her so much, and even though there is NO PLAN to get a new Dog anytime soon - I love the freedom that I have without her being here - I can't stop myself from missing her... I had to find somewhere peaceful, to curl up with a cool drink and my memories, I needed to think of her and have a good cry to get over things...

Backstage with the Band

I am a child born in the 80s, and raised in the 90s. I was a fan of one of the UK's first - and if I may say so best boybands Take That - and although I was a fan of them I also fell hard for one of the most important grunge boys to ever hit the music scene. My early teenage years would have been NOTHING with Mr Kurt Cobain... On one hand there was Mark Owen, the other was Kurt... I was a cheesy pop, grunge diva kinda girl... I was the kinda girl at school hung out with the skateboarding boys, wearing a hoody and plenty of eyeliner... Listening to the angsty kinda music that drove my Dad bonkers... 

I had a teenage crush on Kurt Cobain for so long and was mortified by his death... I had a jealousy toward Courtney Love, purely because she was his other half, although I LOVED listening to her band Hole... 
Rudh got all excited when she heard that there was a Shotgun Pop-Up event with a Grunge theme... Her and her mates had already decided to try and get a gig with their grunge band, the Free Candy, and rocked up to their first show with an old truck - a truck from Bad Unicorn - loaded with gear... Dressed in an outfit that pays homage to Miss Love's style back in the 90s - thanks to an amazing release from miss chelsea for the Shotgun Pop-Up Event - she's ready to rock out and find her own Nirvana...

Fluffies and Sparklies

I go through days of randomness where I want to do silly things, I want to do dark and deadly things, I want to do futuristic cyborg type things and then there are days like today when I want to be a sparkly fantasy being that's living in a world of brilliance and colours... I love each and every mode of my brain, but for some reason days like this, I feel bright and effervescent... I LOVE taking a walk through the stars... 

I know that I have a random style, you never know what my pictures will be like on any given day and that's why I feel like my blog is a definite form of therapy for me... Doesn't matter what my mood is when I start, doesn't matter what the picture looks like in the outcome, I'll always be feeling a little lighter, a lote more relaxed and will definitely be smiling... 
Today the smiles are bright and colourful, cute and fluffy, magically angellic with a hint of "awww look at that thing"... An angel walking on and through the clouds, talking to the Fuzz Balls - from Sakura - and the Magical Bears - from Tardfish for the current round of Kawaii Secrets - stretching her Ethereal Wings - by Doe, who is at the moment making simply amazing wings that I admit I'm totally addicted to - and letting the light dance under the Fairytale Umbrella - a gorgeous creation from YOKAI...
Light, Colour, Feather Soft Wings and some adorably fluffy friends... Always makes for a great and wonderful feeling...

A Clutter Gang of Cats!

We had heard that there have been some unsavory types lurking around in the rubble outside of the Midnight Order, whilst the magical and regal reside within... They darent venture out the doors, not only is it rubble there is falling buildings and fire, but the worst threat is the dangerous Black Gang Cats Biker club that patrol the streets looking for trouble... 

The area around the Midnight Order has been nicknamed The Barrens - which is actually a backdrop by Synnergy.Tavis - that have become an almost apocalyptic wasteland, controlled by the Black Gang Cats - a series of models by D-LAB, available until August 20th at Midnight Order. 
The leader of the Black Cats Gang arms herself with axes made of street rubble, and she carries chains for capturing those magicals that dare leave the Order...
