Draconic Sushi and Steamy Noods!

Again with the posting blog posts at dinnertime, I always seem to find myself working on blog posts just after dinner when I've been thinking long and hard about dinner and what I want to eat, invariably the thought on my mind influences my blogging... 
Food was on my mind... I wanted something delicious and spicy... Something warm and filling... A little bit of spicy magic...

As I sat down to dinner, I had chosen a bowl of delicious Hearty Tonkotsu Ramen - from Cat-Noodle - with a naughty side order of Orenji and Pinku Sashimi - also from Cat-Noodle - I know it's naughty and a lot of food but I was feeling articularly hungry... I added an order of Boba Tea - from Junk Food - in both Matcha and Strawberry flavours since I couldn't decide which one I wanted... 
Though I was just settling down to enjoy the dinner, there was a a splashing in my noodles, there was a bigger splash and a Dragoon - from Tardfish at Hongdae until June 20th - flew from my bowl, flapping around the room and filling it with delicious sushi scents... Isn't he an adorable sushi dragon?!

Bullets and Beer for Bartering!

I find myself sitting around at the moment, wondering what the future will be like... Will there finally be peace? Will the world have another Ice Age? Who knows if people will even be human, or will we have been altered to allow cybernetics become a thing? My mind went adrift, I became a little robotic, and I made sure that I had plenty of things to trade if the economy crumbles... 

I have a feeling that the bartering goods of the future will be bullets - since let's face it there will never be peace so that we can live without them - and beer... I stocked up, and made sure I had plenty of both so that I can pay for any cybernetic upgrades I might need in the future...

Sunday Night, Bath Night

Sunday Night, Bath Night... I've said it before but I'll say it again, when I was little, even though we did it during the week too, every Sunday night was considered Bath Night because we had to get ready for school the next day! I stick to that theory, no matter what I'm doing I'll always make sure I have a shower - since I'm not lucky enough to have a bath - on a Sunday...  I wish I had a bath, nothing feels more relaxing than a warm bubble bath... 

In the calming, soothing space of a bathroom - like the Masculine Bathroom Backdrop from Synnergy - where the lighting is low and the bath is full of hot, bubbly water, it's like a little piece of heaven... I had it all the soft lights, the soft music and the bubbles, normally I'd have something delicious, but I had to make do with have a chance to smoke a sneaky cigarette that was a little funny - available from Avenge at Kinky Monthly - so funny in fact that even the smoke was smiling... It was so relaxing...

The Bungenie in the Lamp

For some reason I found myself being a little more random than usual this morning when I sat down and took a look into my cavernous inventory to decide what I needed and wanted to blog today... There are so many options, I needed to focus and find something that got my mental cogs working... 
It needed to be somehing different, it needed to be something mystical, but then I let my mind drift and it ended up in a meditative state and somehow there were bunnies involved... 

Inside my Dreamy Genie Bottle - a super old skybox from Trompe Loeil, that I'm not even sure they sell anymore, but you may be lucky - I sat on a very comfy cushion that will allow me to Meditate Anywhere - a cushion you can float around on from Ananas at ACCESS until June 8th, I'm not sure what happened, but before long I felt strange, the cushion was floating... Was it the magic of the meditation, or did I start floating because of the two HUGEEEEEE Bunny Fans - from Krescendo - that blew me up into the air??
It was like magic as I floated into the air, and while one of my littee bunny friends, who had sat in my cleavage as ir's easier to talk to me and tell me how much he loves carrots - and is from Tardfish - and then th magic spread, it sparkles and the Kaori Flowers - from Emotional Circus - swirled the room...

Faking the Fireflies

I've finished work for the week, and although I only did very short hours, I am feeling kinda worn out. I want to do something relaxing and chillaxing, find my inner peace... 
I think I'm going to wander out into the night and collect up some more fireflies, I need some more of natures fairylights... 

There's nothing more relaxing than freewheeling on a bicycle in the evening through the peaceful fields - a backdrop from Synnergy really - to the perfect spot where the fireflies gather... 
Curling up in the long grass, listening to the pretty sounds of the evening, the smell of the flowers in the air and an empty jar waiting to hold some new fairylights...

Funny Drinks at the Office!

Work was a strange day today... People were in a happy mood, but there was a change in the weather that means things were a bit strange. It's definitely fun to be back at work again, things have changed so MUCH but I'm sure that I will get back into the swing of things sooner or later... 
While I'm working away in the shop, Rudh gets herself all dressed up and heads to the office... 

Heading into the office, dressed in an awesome Aili Romper - from miss chelsea - that I've had waiting in my closet for the day I started working. At break time, I took my fab purse for a trip to the canteen to grab myself a soda. I have been warned about the drink coolers. Magic to make the Rain go away!

The magic seems to have taken control just a little more than usual and it's something that I'm not afraid to admit I am loving it... 
Today I had to make a little trip into a very magical place to grab something that was urgently needed... I needed some of that fancy potion to add just a little spice to the dinner that I was planning on making... I can't make the dinner without that magical spice... There was just one little problem... RAIN!

I wandered into the street, somewhere hidden that most people would never notice... Down back alley, round a corner and down a stair... It's a place of Witchcraft and Wizardry - the event is open still until June 5th - as I headed to a little shop that sells the amazing Wiggleweld Potion - from STOIC. 
Unfortunately, it started to rain as soon as I stepped out of the door... I had no choice but to find myself a makeshift umbrella, luckily I had my wand up my sleeve, and I'm not the best little Witch I do know the Parasollus - from Quills & Curiosities - spell, that can make me a umbrella in a moment.

A Magical Bath and a Sandwich from Heaven!

The weather had been super hot last week, I mean not total summertime temperatures, but definitely warm. Now the rain has come back and it's settled in, making everything cooler and damp... 
It's the kind of weather that makes me want to curl up with a good book, I mean I'd love to step into a hot bath with a good book, and maybe a little snackette?!

A Bath can be so magical, I love the chance to just lay back and let the water 'magically' soak away any aches and pains that I have gripping my body. I miss having a bath in my RL house so much, I have one in SL but its the magical bathroom that means so much more... 
The hot water and the magical bubble potions that soak away the aches and pains - thanks to this amazing bathroom set from DISORDERLY - and fill the room with adorable little bubbles, a great book with some new facts or fun stories, and the most delicious Swirly Strawberry Sandwiches - created by Cat-Noodle, available at ACCESS until June 8th - full of cream and fresh strawberries!

Dancing in the Rainbow Lights

Do you ever have days where you know you want to do something, but have absolutely no idea what it is that you want to do?! I seem to get those a lot, and no matter what I do things always seem to just magically come together so that I create magic to make myself happy!
Today was one of those days, my inner demoness came to brightly coloured rainbow life, and it was like magic... All that I needed was time for a little floorshow...  

Believe it or not but this whole picture came about today because I was playing with a new release from FOXCITY - available until June 10th at Kustom9 - that isn't the usual poses or backdrops that they are most well known for, but is actually a Sunset Lamp that casts the most amazing lights to enhance any picture... I've used a rainbow lighting today but there are SO MANY different colours and patterns to play with... 
It was perfect for lighting up my performance as my dark little demonic-self as I danced in a hoop - which is actually a pose from -Extra- - it glittered off my adorable new body suit and lit up the stage... Binge watching with my Fur Babies!

 I've had the day from hell, I know it sounds a little overdramatic but when you get hit hard with a monstrous migraine all you want to do is find somewhere dark and quite... It's been a nightmare few hours but I was able to catch some sleep after working all day, and have now managed to eat so I'm going to curl up and watch a little TV... 
Nothing better than curling up on the sofa, with an old series on the TV to binge watch and a cuddly friend to share it with is an idea of heaven... 

Made myself a rather large bowl of Veggie-Packed Bibimbap - available from Cat-Noodle at LEVEL until May 24th - and a cup of coffee before I sat curled up under a blanket to watch some Jonathan Creek. I was with my adorable doggy - like the one sat behind me, represented by the Foxwood Boho Borzoi - who got scared of the first murder. It seemed like we ended up having more than a few of her puppy dog buddies - all from Foxwood - coming to join in the binge watching... They lounged all over my bed, and the Castle Thrones - from Krescendo at Kinky until May 22nd - that my fur babies use as their princess beds... I'm not sure Anna, my cat - a kitten from Jian - was all that amused, I caught her peeking at me from behind a chair... Too man dogs for her liking I think...

Caught in the Food Fight

Sometimes at dinnertime things get a little chaotic with deciding what we want to eat... It's always so difficult to decide on what to eat. I get frustrated and I know that I'm not the only one... It becomes a lot of a fight sometimes... All I want to do is throw something foodish at him to break the tension... 
Right now it sends my mind into overdrive, it took me to a place in space where Rudh had to fight her way to find food... 

In the space station, Rudh started to head down the corridor toward the Dinner Hall she realised that shewas not alone, and there would definitely not be enough to share!! Time to bring out her favouritest of weapons, the Food Fight Gun - from Hangry - shooting all the dark competition to get through the rush... Have to apologise here, I didn't mean to pelt you with a burger, you just got caught in the firing line...

Catching Fireflies

What a day I've had today, it was my first day back at work and I had a blast... I had been a little nervous, but when I got home and had taken a shower to relax, I sat down and now I'm stuck hehe... 
I decided to take a n evening to relax a little bit, aside from doing the dishes and maybe hanging some laundry I'm taking things easy hehe... 
I might read a book, watch some random silly tv series or even spend the evening in the garden and watch for the animals coming to dance in the evening skies... Bats and moths, and fireflies... 

I decided to go with the latter, for Rudh at least, she's been sent on a little camping trip to the Grand Canyon - thanks to a backdrop from Synnergy - to catch fireflies so that she can bring them home to her garden... I used to love 'Catching Fireflies' - though in this case the jar is from tarte - I just have to run home fast so that they are safely, deposited in the garden...

A World of Burton

As the courtcase of one of his best friends seems to have taken over the media throughout the world, Mr Tim Burton has taken over a lot of Second Life this week as there is an Enchantment that has gone a little Burton-esque... Christmas Nightmares, Juice with Beetles and a touch of Wonderland have taken over, not to mention there is a demon barber on the loose... If SL wasn't scary enough at times, the monstrous mind of Mr Burton has taken over... 

This is definitely not the End of Story - a backdrop from K&S - though, the creatures have now found their own happy little lives in Second Life. Hiding in amongst the Curly Wurly Trees - a new release from LOVE for Enchantment - inhabitants of wonderland seek guidance and luckily for them Rudh and her gorgeous new Sand Slug friend - from Tardfish, also at Enchantment - are here to lead the way...

It's ALIVEEEEEEE!!!

Just as I'm on the verge of being able to go back to work in the cheese shop - something I've been waiting MONTHS to be allowed to do now - it seems like everyone around me is getting a cold... I'm crossing my fingers and praying to any God that may hear me, that I won't catch anything. I WANT TO GO BACK TO WORK NOW!!
Since I'm avoiding it in RL though, perhaps it will work like the chicken pox in RL, I'll get Rudh to catch it in SL, and then maybe it won't be so bad if I do? Rudh seemed to have picked up the cold pretty quickly, I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact she's been exploring the magical places of SL recently... 

In these magical places, she's gone and caught herself a cold... The works hit her hard, her nose is running, her eyes are watering and she's full of phlegm. Blowing her nose into a tissue, for some reason she decided to actually look at what her nose had created... Still looking like a terrible mess, her nose blowing bubbles in her boogers - thanks to the Stuffy Nose Set from KitCat - and maybe it was a mistake, a disgusting snotty mistake... 
In the tissue, when she looked, there was the biggest snot pile she'd ever seen in her life. Then the shock got bigger, it started to move! The "Smol Sludgie" Snot Monster came to life in her tissue...

Glitches Open Doors!

The Cyber Punk Fair has now opened it's doors, the world is fulled with cyber colours and punk style both of which have been pushed into the limelight... It's causing uproar as people are racing to get their pretty cyber punk goodies... Unfortunatly, when Rudh went to take a little look around, she'd gotten herself in a spot of trouble with some of the security team... She had to run...  

The dogs chased her into her Sci-Fi Hideout - a backdrop from FOXCITY - the Robo Woofers - from HILTED - were relentless... The door opened with the help of her tattoo markings, they look like a Glitch - a tattoo from GERMINAL available at Cyber Punk Fair - but they are actually the only pattern the door SHOULD respond to, though apparently the door likes the dogs too...

Dancing Cakes!

Saturday Night, it's Eurovision Night, and ALL I want to do is eat cake right now... Since I've recently started a Lifestyle Coaching Course that will be assisting to change my life habits which include eating habits, I don't think a HUGE portion of cake will be a good idea. 
Perhaps it will be better if I head to the Sugar Bowl and help myself to cake in Second Life instead?! 

What I saw when I got there shocked me... Among the milkshakes and the donuts, it seems like music fever has gotten to the inhabitants of the little bakery... One of the most adorable little Cuppycakes - a costume from Ananas at Equal 10 - has decided that it's high time the to teach the Junk Food Birthday Cakes how to sing and dance...

The Monster Clique of Fairytale High

Been reliving my teens, sitting to watch some of the moveis that I loved when I was younger. Nothing better than some of the teen romances of the nineties and noughties for me... I am a happy girl, I've also been catching episodes of Monster High on the internet, and I love that series, I wish it had been around when I was a kid... 
It got me thinking, if I was back at a Monster High, what would it be like, and what kind of monster gang would I roll with... Well of course, there's no better place than in SL to find that out... I was going back to High School... 

I think I'd be one of the mean girls at a fairytale high school - maybe not so much if it was just a monsters only school perhaps - but the demon in me would definitely be leader of her pack... On the cheer-squad to stay in with the cool kids, while the dark monstrous types that were my crew made me their Queen Bee - or their Regina George if you know the reference... 
Dressed in my uniform - a new release from miss chelsea, available at Anthem - and my hair done in a style to match my pom poms, as I pose with my posse in our classroom during lunch so we can be close to the lockers - such an adorable new release from Boutique #187 - that hide all of our stuff during the school day. My Fairytale High School Posse is brilliant though, the best friends a girl could make-up... Pinhead's gorgeous sister, Pippa, and the Paper Cut Fairy are my gorgeous ghoul pals, whilst Bill Loon and Bobble Head, son of the Emojis, are the boys in the band hehe... Brilliant to be back at school...

Dino Nuggets Take Me Back!

I had to make dinner, I hate making dinner just for myself as I always feel like I cannot be bothered. There are a few staples that I always keep in the freezer just on the off-chance; fish fingers, pizza, french fries... The usual, horrible, frozen fast food, but very occasionally on the very odd occasion, I have some chicken nuggets...
Though tonight I sought something quick and easy, and hit the jackpot... DINO NUGGETS!!! I couldn't believe my luck, I hadn't had them since I was a kid... They seemed to magically take me back in time... 

I ended up feeling like I was passing through time so much that I was transported through time to a land where the dinosaurs weren't only on my plate... At first I had a bit of a shock, thinking I'd been transported so far back in time, the Dinosaurs still ruled the world, but upon further inspection it was just to another memory from my childhood and the land of Jurassic Park... 
Now as I was looking around I noticed that I wasn't the only one looking to indulge in my plate of delicious Junk Food - the Dino Nuggets are a Junk Food release - I think I got company... I wonder if the new dinosaur buddy of mine, will realize I'm actually NOT a dinosaur, how long do you think I can hide in my Home-Made Dino hat - from Ananas?!

Bedtime for a Vampire

Even after having had a vacation last week, I'm feeling very tired. I guess maybe it's because I have done NOTHING over the last four months, and I cannot wait to get back into somewhat normality as I head back to work next week, but I didn't ever think I'd be getting tired simply by doing nothing... 
It's morning now, I've been in bed all night and as I'm writing this I've been falling asleep on and off all day... Maybe I'm becoming a bit of a vampire in the daylight and a bedtime snuggle monster by night... 

In the morning, the Vampire in me is desperately sleepy and muchly in need of a daytime snooze, she decends the spiral staircase - a backdrop from FOXCITY - to her Danse Macabre Coffin - an oldie but a goodie from Remarkable Oblivion, a store which I VERY much miss - for her daylight slumber.

Back At Home Again!

Guess who is back? Yes, it's me, who else would it be that could be found writing here, no one else would be wanting to share their crazed ramblings in a place like this... I don't think anyone else is bonkers enough really. Anyway, did you miss me??
I know that it's only been a week, but I love the feeling of getting home... 

Getting home feels lovely... Dumping my luggage and stripping off my dirty travel clothes as I walk through the house, I have to decide if I'd rather shower or have a cup of tea first... In this case, the shower won and after I'd spent far too long in the shower, it was definitely time for a  cup of tea and a delicious club sandwich - from Vespertine - which I'll enjoy on the last of the days sunshine while I'll I sit on the Fire Escape - a new backdrop from FOXCITY at Collabor88.

A Long Train Ride Home

OH MY GOD IT'S FINALLY THE DAY... I've been counting down to this day for WEEKS now!!! It's finally time for me to step out of my SL world and into the RL one as I'm leaving for a week of family time!! I'm heading back to the UK, finally, after all of the Covid restrictions and my nightmare of being in the hospital... It's finally time to go home and reset my batteries! 

Getting ready to go is always a fun task, making sure I have everything that I need but remembering I'm going home not to somewhere totally strange, and kissing my fur babies goodbye!! That part is always the hardest part!!! I ALWAYS miss my fur babies!!!

In the Cold, Damp of the Basement...

It's May 1st, the 5th month of the year has finally started... WHERE DID THE LAST 4 MONTHS GO? There's also changes afoot that may well affect the SL blogging community as a whole, and I'm intrigued to find out how it will affect those that do blog. From today, Flickr - which is SL's main photo showcase place - will no longer allow free accounts to post moderate or adult related content... It could affect everything that we all know and love... I am a Pro account, it shouldn't affect me all that much, but maybe sponsors will be seeking different things... Who knows... 
Still to honour that change, and the fact that I'm a Pro account, I was having a conversation with a very close friend. Before long I'd been bound, blindfolded and gagged. Dragging down the stairs into a cold, damp, basement... 

In the Basement - a backdrop from PALETO - I sat on my butt that was bruised as I bounced down the stairs, and waited for hour upon hour, until my captor appeared like a shadow blocking out the light. He'd ripped off my clothing casting it here and there, my underwear - actually a bikini from Half-Deer - the only thing I could see in the pool of light at the bottom of the stairs. Dressed into a straight jacket - from UNA - and pushed onto my knees with the gentle touch from his riding crop, like a good girl - thanks to a pose from FOXCITY.
Since he went to all this trouble, how could I not be a good girl and do as I'm told.
