The Cavalier Captain

I want a little more fantasy in my mind, I am bored little mind right now as everything seems to be crazy busy and then same old, same old... I'm going to have to find myself an adventure, maybe there is an adventure to be had before the Engine Room closes it's doors and takes away it's wonderful characters until next time... 

I've heard it said that the Engine Room will be closing it's doors on April 20th, so that doesn't give us long anymore to enjoy the adventures that it has brought with it's opening... 
Today we're onboard the boat of the Piratas Salvajes - which is a backdrop from The Bearded Guy - as it sails on the stormy seas. The captain of the vessel is a bit of a Cavalier - dressed in a set from toksik, available until April 20th at the Engine Room - but she's being guided by the spiritual Haunting Buns - from Tardfish - that are naughty and devious, and leading this girl's crew on a perilous adventure...

Atomic Estates Salvage Station

I'm hiding away in my brain, nothing real is allowed and I WANT so bad to get lost in a fantasy right now... My mother is sick in the hospital, and although as yet it's nothing too bad, right now she's yellow...We are trying to make light of it, joking that she was a Simpson for Halloween but it's nerve-wracking... My brain has even been making up scenarios like she's living in the post-apocalypse and had to take a bath in special water which makes the skink go yellow... I guess it's all the fault of the fact that I've stopped at the Salvage Station...

The Salvage Station I'm visiting today happens to be located in the Barassi Desert - which happens to be a backdrop from The Bearded Guy - I've been told to take precautions from the air at the Atomic Estates - items from LORE, available until November 30th at Salvage Station - any time you leave the accomdations... 
I've made sure I have a mask and goggles, I'm wrapped up like an Outlander in a Cowl and Coat - from SOMNIUM - and my Deteriorate Pants - from AsteroidBox, also at the Second Life Syndicate's Salvage Station - are great for keeping my legs warm and for keeping my false leg attached...

Leaving the Engine Room

I dont know what it is but at the moment I'm finding it hard to get into the spirit of Halloween... In fact, let me be honest and totally real here with you a moment, I am findingit hard to get into doing much of anything at the moment. I can sit staring at a look I'm putting together fora picture for hours and find no entertainment in it, all I want to do is sleep right now... That's not good is it?!
Maybe I need to fly away, escape to somewhere that's not in my mind and I don't need to think... Someone come get me and take me away please... 

There is about 8 days left before the Engine Room closes, and the interesting characters that have come out of the woodwork for the opening of the doors are slowly beginning prep for the closing... There are hot air balloons being readied in the wing of Reactor 4 - a building kit from mizu for the Engine Room - and as a captain of one, I'm going to head down early to prepare myself for their flight... My bags are packed, I want to get away...

Modern Tech at The Engine Room

There are so many pretty things happening in Second Life at the moment, the changing of the colours is taking place and people are slowly starting to wear warmer, cosy looking clothing. There are costumes being planned and things are starting to get a little spooky. I LOVE this time of year... 
There are other things happening that have to be shared though before the spooky things start. The Engine Room has opened and there's so many gorgeous, steampunkish things filling the grid, Yet you know me, there are ways to make things fit every style, for my first peek into the Engine Room I went a little wild... 

Out the back of The Engine Room, you might find the Workshop - a backdrop from FOXCITY - Rudh wrapped herself in a protection with a Nox Arcana - a halo from Quills & Curiosities - to slip between the somewhat dangerous Power Cell Pillars - from Oblivis at The Engine Room - to steal the universal heart, or the "Left my heart in..." - from Doe at Dollholic - that has been stored in the Murder Juke Audio Jukebox... 
I know that her outfit, and in fact this entire picture, isn't really very steampunk in style but I had to get a little high-tech Manticore Mecha Arms - from Elivah - which caused me to get more than a little high tech in style...

The Bungenie in the Lamp

For some reason I found myself being a little more random than usual this morning when I sat down and took a look into my cavernous inventory to decide what I needed and wanted to blog today... There are so many options, I needed to focus and find something that got my mental cogs working... 
It needed to be somehing different, it needed to be something mystical, but then I let my mind drift and it ended up in a meditative state and somehow there were bunnies involved... 

Inside my Dreamy Genie Bottle - a super old skybox from Trompe Loeil, that I'm not even sure they sell anymore, but you may be lucky - I sat on a very comfy cushion that will allow me to Meditate Anywhere - a cushion you can float around on from Ananas at ACCESS until June 8th, I'm not sure what happened, but before long I felt strange, the cushion was floating... Was it the magic of the meditation, or did I start floating because of the two HUGEEEEEE Bunny Fans - from Krescendo - that blew me up into the air??
It was like magic as I floated into the air, and while one of my littee bunny friends, who had sat in my cleavage as ir's easier to talk to me and tell me how much he loves carrots - and is from Tardfish - and then th magic spread, it sparkles and the Kaori Flowers - from Emotional Circus - swirled the room...
