Happy Zombie Jesus Day... Happy Chocolate Bunny Day... Happy Chocolate for Breakfast Day... Technically it's Easter but since so many people celebrate it in so many different ways, and since it seems even less religious these days than Christmas, I wanted to cover all of the bases... 

I've always been a bit excited by the fact that it's considered acceptable to eat chocolate for breakfast. Though I often wondered why bunnies were involved... I love the fact that chocolate bunnies are a real thing now. Where do chocolate bunnies come from? The chocolatiers would prefer to take the credit for them, but the fairies know otherwise... Chocolate bunnies - like the ones from Aardvark, which are in fact the special edition of the Blossom Bunnies created by Aardvark available at Access until April 8th - are born from Chocolate eggs...

Checking the Autumn Manual

As Autumn seems to have taken root more over the weekend, I am finding myself getting more into the cycle of reading a good book and snuggling up under a blanket in the evening, I've put off the idea of lighting candles and snuggling into the darkness... 
There's something so pretty about the change of the season, and even in SL there are so many pretty changes afoot... Must be strange for anyone that's not heading into the same seasons that the Northern Hemisphere is heading for, but there's just something so magical about this time of year, even without the Halloween magic... 

The forest folk are busy preparing the forests, so that the colour changes and greets people with that warm sense of happiness and Autumn Colours... All of the fae folk have been given a new manual on the changing of the reason and each of them is expected to read it cover to cover... 
We caught a little mushroom fae, decorated in a Mushy Hat - from Fayette at 13th Street until September 25th - and Toadstool Mushroom Skirt, but whilst she's been busy reading, it seems like some of those adorable baby deer have been messing around in her mushrooms...

Bug Hunting in the Creek

I feel like I'm on a bit of a fantasy kick at the moment, but that's not entirely my fault as so many designers out there are making such wonderfully fairytale-ish things, AND it's definitely NOT a bad thing... I always say I feel happy when I'm in a dark, macabre state, but when I can let my inner fairy out to play I feel like awesome sauce... 
I normally let my mind wander and create an amazing story in my head around the fairy stylings, but that doesn't always need to be the case. Fairies can just be super cute little magical pretties as much as they need to be fairies of a specific thing, and so today we're going to play in the garden with one of those special little ladies... She's found down by the creek, where the creepy crawlies like to hide... 

The creek is located within the gorgeous Jungle Harmony - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - and here you may find our little fairy flitting in and out of the grasses... Zoobydoo of the Berry Butts

I know I'm random sometimes, but I LOVE when I get more random than normal and do things that make even me do HUH?! 
Today I saw something new released that made me have an instant lapse into a jingle from a TV commercial from a few years ago in the UK. It was one that my mum was obsessed with, and she even set the music as her ringtone... I'm not sure if you've heard it, but the Ribena Advert from the UK has one of the catchiest soundtracks ever... I've decided to add it to the end of my post, so you get to enjoy it too, but today I found myself in the strangest of berry situations... 

I'd been in the middle of posing for an art class, I had slipped in amongst the prop fruits and flowers, set up all perfect for a still life, while I pretended to be a cute little strawberry - thanks to an older release from Ananas, that you can pick up at the mainstore as part of a set called Healthy Heads. 
While I was sitting there trying not to get a case of the giggles so that I'd mess up for the artists painting the scene, when there was a strange noise through the air, a strange song like noise "Zoobydoo Zoobydoo Zoobydoo"... A tiny little space ship, parked itself on a piece of fruit, and out of it popped the most adorable little "Fruit Butt" buddies - from Tardfish at the round of DollHolic that starts today - started dancing around singing the same tune that the space ship "Zoobydoo, Zoobydoo, Zoobydoo"...Such cute, happy little berries!

Becoming Queen Bee

I have been on a rather random, weird fantasy world lately and I can't say that I'm not enjoying it. I've always had a passion for creating the weird and wonderful characters, my blogging world is full of them, each one unique and random and different, but very occasionally I let my mind create one that will surprise even me... 
This very situation happened today, I was out walking through the glorious countryside, and I spotted the beehives in the corner of the field. I gave them a wide birth, fearing being stung by any of the bees, I guess though my caution was worthless... I got stung, and it was the sting that caused the magic to happen... 

In the fields where the Sunset Rising happens - thanks to a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - I meandered towards the Bee Hives - a beautiful set from Apple Fall if you're interested - and felt the bees - which in this case are adorable and from LODE - begin to dance, welcoming their new leader... I didn't notice the changes at first, but when I caught a glimpse of myself in a honey jar, the image was amazing... I'd gone full on Honey Bee - thanks to a new release from Fantasy Forest Store - I was going to be the new queen, I was crowned with a beautiful Heartsong Crown - from Six Feet Under that you can see more clearly in the ad that I'm sharing below - and I was to help make sure the hive would survive and thrive... I was ready to do my part... I just hope that there might be bigger boy bees than the ones flying around, I need someone much bigger to procreate with hehe...

Back At Home Again!

Guess who is back? Yes, it's me, who else would it be that could be found writing here, no one else would be wanting to share their crazed ramblings in a place like this... I don't think anyone else is bonkers enough really. Anyway, did you miss me??
I know that it's only been a week, but I love the feeling of getting home... 

Getting home feels lovely... Dumping my luggage and stripping off my dirty travel clothes as I walk through the house, I have to decide if I'd rather shower or have a cup of tea first... The Faun in the Secret Garden

Today is the opening of the Fantasy Faire, a HUGE 20 sim event to raise money for Race for Life - the cancer charity - one of the biggest fantasy events that takes over the grid every year... Quests and shopping and parties that allow the fae folk to live a little more vibrantly... 
Although I haven't been able to get in to check out the pretty sims yet, the pretty little Faun in me decided to dance around in her own little Secret Garden and make herself pretty for the fun... 

It's Cake Day in the Synnergy Secret Garden... Why is is secret you ask, well that may be due to the fact that it's only known about by the Fae Folk, but they try hard to keep it a secret because although it looks pretty, it can be the site of much debauchery. That pretty metal butterfly in the corner isn't just a pretty sculpture - it's actually the Violetility "Butterfly Cross" - and the ropes hanging from it are not just beautifully tied decor - those are the Evil Baby "Sakura Blossom Set" which should be worn as accessories, but is so pretty I couldn't resist using it for decor! - those are the playthings of the debauched fae folk... If only we can keep the Birdy Turdies - from Tardfish that I have added an extra close-up of to get a better look at in the picture below - and the Butterflies - from MishMish - from seeing the naughtiness... 
Anyway, once the little faun - who is using the amazing legs and ears from Quills & Curiosities at Fantasy Faire's Bassett Town - dressed herself up in vines and flowers, ready to enjoy the party time of the Faire...

Sharing Spring Smiles!

One of the best things about March, other than the fact it's my Birthday Month, is that its the beginning of Spring. Spring is such a wonderful season, the life and color that comes with it after the darkness of the winter. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the darkness, but there's just something about the flowers that spring up in Spring that you cannot help smiling at... 
My garden is over-flowing with flowers, so I've set up a pretty little stall in my market.. I'm not selling them, just giving them to people that would love a little colour in their life... Would you like one?

For some reason I dressed a little like a peasant girl, something akin to Belle in her provincial life before she moves into the palace... The dress is very much giving me Belle vibes, although I'm not sure that's what was in mind when the Gigliola Dress - from Belle Epoque... 
I cobbled this gorgeous Upcycled Market Stall - with a little help from Krescendo - and some magic from a garden gnome that just happened to be a Fairy Godmother... We've decided to spread a little magic and share some beautiful flowers in return for some beautiful flowers... We've got gorgeous, HUGE peonies - that come with the poses from -Extra- at Shiny Shabby - sunny sunflowers, fresh Dutch tulips, and lots of bunches of Springtime blooms... I'm giving them to everyone, all I ask is a smile in return... Would you like a smile today?

Pretty Clutter on the Shelf!

Keeping the house tidy... It's something that we're all expected to do unless we're able to have someone to do it for you. I will fully admit that I HATE cleaning, and the worst of the worst is dusting... I HATE dusting. The only problem wih that is that I have so many itty, bitty things, and that the city I live in is terrible for creating dust, so therefore if I don't do it often enough, it could easily become a scene in any horror film...

I love that about Second Life though, I can have all kinds of pretty things decorating each an every surface in my house without any need to clean them up. I have gadgets and gizmos a plenty, hoozits and whatsits galore, there are trinkets on every surface...
Beautiful lamps - like the one from Lucas Lameth - sit alongside potion bottles - from Short Leash, at My Bloody Valentine - books balance precariously alongside beautiful potted plants, and the most interesting of pictures are balanced on the shelves... This pictures in particular is a special one, it's a Bell'angelo, a Living Masterpiece - from Short Leash at Abnormality - filled with the prettiest of rose demons... Roses are beautiful but the thorns are definitely the playthings of the rose demon...
Since she's not so clear in the main picture, I had to add a little close-up, isn't she pretty?!

Butterflies of the Dark

Lots of things come to life during the Midnight Hour, when the magic wakes up... You never know what of the magical beings will bring to entertain. Today, as the moon is at it's fullest, the butterflies of the night - yes I know they are more often called moths, by everyone including ME lol, but this sounds much cooler this way - take flight and flock to their spirit, the one that holds their light and calls them home... 

This spirit hides in the ruins of the Broken Temple - a backdrop from Synnergy - she's marked by the butterflies that flutter in the dust of the crumbling building. All of these beautiful butterflies of the night are drawn to our spirit simply because of what she carries in her hand... She has the Butterflies of the Soul - a beautiful creation from Dreamcatcher for the Midnight Order...

Poppies in Remembrance

It's November 11th, and for many that's seen as a day with some big significance. In the UK, and many other countries around the world, November 11th is a day of Remembrance. Things are celebrated differently, for me as a Brit I will always observe the moment of silence in thanks and remembrance for those that lost their lives through war... 

It's a day that we in the UK wear poppies to show our remembrance of the dead. The reason that we do this is because poppies were the first flowers to appear in the area that was destroyed by the front line of World War I. Their colour is also seen as a representation of the blood that was spilt... I'll always proudly wear a poppy, and remember those that have been lost... 
I'm not in Flanders Fields today though, I'm in a gorgeous location called the "Flower of Scotland", and it's one of the most amazing locations that I've found in a while... It is so beautiful, I cannot wait to explore it more!!

Celebrations at the end of Camp!

The end of our devious little dark summer camp is here... Today the gates of Camp Necrosis will officially close - although you might be able to grab any last minute goodies before they slam shut on Monday - we hope you've learnt one or two things as the summer begins... Things like how to have a depraved little summer break! Our camp counsellors have very much enjoyed hearing you scream, so much so that the head of the camp has come down to wish you a final farewell... 

A chance to meet the demon in charge is something that should never be passed up... She's a rarely seen being at the Hauntings, but when she does pop up it's usually to cast the last little curse on those that have visited her... 
Dressed comfortably in a dark little Natsu Dress - from Beauty of Darkness - and a borrowed Vampire's cloak -from DREAMCATCHER at Ritual - she had a little accident while prepping the Osteal Facade Mask - from En Pointe - and carving up her neck to show off the "Zealot's Choir" - from Vae Victis... It caused a little blood to get on her dress, but what's a little blood when you're planning to devour the remaining camp guests?!

The Magic of Lunaria

It's FRIDAY!! Doesn't that always feel so magical! I mean every day of the week can be a great one, but for me Fridays always signify the start of the weekend... After Friday, comes Saturday and it's a well known fact that Saturday is the best day of the week for SL shopping, and that - my dear friends - feels like magic hehe... 
Magic for Rudh in SL is a little different... She likes to explore those magical places that draw out her own inner power and allow the wonderous things to happen... Just like they did today at the Land of Lunaria!

The Land of Lunaria is the most magical of places... It draws on your own inner power and before long you feel like a goddess as you wander through the grounds... 
Maybe she was already dressed the part, in a gorgeous dress - from Psycho Barbie - and happened to have slipped on her mask and then laced it with a wreath LODEd with flowers, but once her magic started to glow, she attracted a friend! HEXtraordinary Dragons came to check her out and one even perched on her shoulder, it made her freeze in her tracks...

Welcome to the Jungle

It's a jungle out there kiddies, everyone is struggling to stay alive right now but sometimes I wish that Darwin's Theory of Evolution would work more for the human race... Seriously, just going to the store today proved to me that there needs to be a reduction of stupid in the human gene pool... Sorry I know that sounds callous, but I cannot stop that thought whenever I go out in public sometimes...

Ice-Cream for the Fairies

OK I know that it's nearly Halloween but I decided to have a little change today and do something super cute and fairyful, just because I'd been doing some digging around in my inventory and found some pretty fairy Ice-Cream that had to be shared with my friends in the Lost Unicorn Forest!

Purple for the Bees

Spring flowers are in abundance at the moment and I'm so happy to see the pretty colours and smell all those gorgeous smells... I love the cacophony of colours, and even though I'm not so much of a purple, sometimes you can't help but get swept up in it... 

The pretty spring flowers just happen to be purple today... Pansies - from LODE at Shiny Shabby - and some gorgeous Wisteria - from Love . All these flowers drew in some new friends... Bumblebees have moved into my garden, and are making themselves at home... I am so happy to see that since they are such cute little things... 
All this purple was affecting me in a few ways, the colour of my eyes started to change to match the colours of the flowers - thanks to these gorgeous new Willow eyes from Psycho.Byts that are available at Cosmopolitan - and then to finish the look I wanted something equally pretty, equally fairy tale to match the gorgeous setting... I found these amazing earrings in the Sylphide Jewellery collection from lassitude & ennui...

Flowers bring out the Butterflies

I'm in such a flowery mood at the moment, I think it's this Spring Thing feeling that's gotten a hold of me and is keeping me in it's floral clutches!!! I'm gonna have to be careful or people will think that this little dead doll has gone to the girlie side... Once you're there, there is no way back out hehe... 
Today I'm going out on a walk at Ode, to smell the flowers and maybe pick myself a small bunch to make my kitchen smell lovely... 

One of my favourite things about flowers is the Butterflies that they attract, and it used to be a thing that across the UK there were vast meadows of flowers, teeming with butterflies. Since that has become less of a thing, there are a lot less butterflies and that makes me a sad little Rudhie! 
Today while wandering through Ode though, I was collecting flowers, making wreaths - although for photo-sake they were actually the gorgeous creations of LODE who I still maintain make some of the best flowers in SL! - and they drew the butterflies to me like a moth to a flame. 
I wasn't complaining, the bugs I don't like can go away and stay away lol, but butterflies... Bring on the butterflies!

Fairy Spells in the Sun

Normally the living dead doll in me wants her day in the moonlight but recently, with all the time I've been spending cooped up in the dark I've actually wanted to be outside and play in the flowers and sunshine of Spring... The fantasy fae in me has pushed through the crowd of pretties and she's going to spend some time in the sun to read some of her magical tomes... 

The little fairy has had a very busy morning, going shopping at Ostara's Altar to buy a pretty outfit - the dress I'm wearing is from [QE] and is called Lorelei Corset Dress, the pale pink colour is almost skin toned and it's decorated all over with pretty pink roses, but if pink isn't your thing then there's a green version too. She's also wearing some pretty jewelry from Velika Rituals - a set of adorable butterfly jewelry, and because they aren't so clear I've shared the ads of both the jewelry and dresses!  
She's curled up in an adorable bed, that could easily pass as a Garden Daybed - from the gacha collection Mushroom Room at Gachaland by Star Sugar - she's joined by some of her adorable little fae friends and her mushroom plushie, and with her magic wand - a Stay at Home Club Gift from MuggleBorn - she's practicing her spells in the evening Spring sun...

Magic in the Forest

Wandering through the Lost Unicorn Forest, the magic starts to take over and the spirit within me starts to break free. The magic bubbles up inside and breaks free, sparkling through the pastel trees and flowers of the beginning of Spring. Maybe it is the magic of the forest spirit that is calling the spring out to play... 

The darkness of the forest is apparent in the dress of the spirit... She wears the black robes similar to "Pygmalion's Bride" - from the gacha collection available by CURELESS - but it is the death aspects of her outfit that allow the lucky person who spots her to see the death of the Winter being pulled away to make way for the freshness of Spring. 
Her Mask, hidden behind the Huvud Crown - from FIKA - shows her status, the bones of the crown revealing the darkness of her winter while her white dancing veil draws in the lightness and colour...

Tears for the Dead Roses of St.Valentine

I felt like doing something that shared a little emotion today... I'm feeling worn down and tired, a little on edge and ready to crack, but because it's still February, and therefore still the month of love, I have tinged my sadness with some bright red roses just to give it that seasonal feel. 

It all started because of the tears I cried for the dead roses of Valentines.
