Fight for Love

Sometimes I feel like I could get into the Valentine's spirit, others I'm as far from interested as any person ever could be... I DON'T feel like being sweet, romantic or anywhere near Valentineish today... I wanna kick someone's butt, I wanna be angry and violent and I'm not even really sure why... So my aggression will start here... I hear there's been some trouble down at the Tunnel of Love... 

As I arrived at the Tunnel of Love - which happens to be a backdrop by blaink by the way - there was no one waiting in line, which should have been my first major red flag... Signs were placed to warn me to be cautious - and well this Boutique #187 Tainted Love sign really summed up my mood, it was so hard to choose a slogan - but armed with a old handmade axe, I wandered through the gates and came face to face with the Mmmmecha 9000 bots - from Krescendo at Hentai Fair - the fight was on...

The Most Magical Library

Tomorrow is my day off... I'm going to spend it reading a book and avoiding being an adult for a while - if you can over look the fact that my reading material would not be considered anything but adult - and I want to head to that magical place where the books are more magical than this crazy life I'm stuck in... I dislike RL people so much at the moment... 

If you need book recommendations then I'm definitely an advocate for Goodreads, and if Goodreads was personified she'd be the most magical of librarians...

My Own Personal Wonderland

Do you ever put an outfit on, and find yourself disappearing into a mindspace that leads you to a totally different world... I had planned to get creative, I was going to aim to get multiple pictures done today but once I put on the first outfit I wanted to blog, I was lost to my own crazy mixed-up dreamlike version of Wonderland... 

What would my version of Wonderland be like? How would Rudhie in Wonderland differ from the world created by Lewis Carroll that Alice got lost in... My Second Life is a world made up of weird and wonderful things... Rainbow sparkles lead to dark, deadly corners, and crazy moments of magic, but would Wonderland be any different or just MUCH MORE of the same?! 
I think there would definitely be a tea party of sorts, one with lots of cake and plenty of hot tea to be drunk from pretty tea cups on mismatched saucers. There would be bunches of Monstrous Elegance - which is represented by the Monster's Feast and the Beastly Visions sets from Nylon Outfitters at Collabor88 - and some of my own cute furry friends with the Chesire Cat being replaced by a HUGE Fluffy Unicorn - from Tardfish - and of course I'd look FABULOUS in my own version of Wonderland... The idea is sparkling through my mind, and I know what I'll be dreaming of tonight...

Ready to Hustle

I've been having a lovely lazy Sunday, it's great when things are few and far between and I get to have a lazy day. I fed the washing machine, and then decided to get myself busy... I was going to get my hustle on, a chance to make a little cash and get into the action, while having myself some fun along the way... 

I'm gonna get my hustle on, I wanna go learn something new... I am going to learn all about the game of Pool so that I can become a pool shark... There's a brand new Pool Hall opened up in the Cocktails & Dreams Bar - a backdrop created by Synnergy.Tavis - but if you ook for the weird guy in the white t-shirt, he will teach you all the tricks of the trade for a cut of the profits... 
One thing he taught me was to look cute but casual, dressing up too much might make me seem like too much of a trickster, so cute but casual it is... Find a Lantern, Make a Wish!

It's a magical day, not only is is the weekend - which let's face it, when you're off work and able to have fun will always be magical - but there is something special in the air... It's not a special holiday, there's nothing happening in RL besides a bit of spring cleaning and some decorating at home, but if you listen carefully you can hear whispers in the wind, floating through the air of Second Life... 
The magical beings have heard the rumours, they are whispering them for the mere mortals as the time draws near... The Midnight Order is back in town, and the doors are about to fly open so the magical merchants can share their wonderful wares...

A Feral Goth Summer

Oh my gosh I didnt think this day would EVER get here... Today is officially the first day of my holiday and I am SO HAPPY to be given the chance to sit back and relax... Finally it's time to switch off my mind, not think about anything besides a little relaxation and a lot of time to see my family. I miss them heaps and bunches, so it will be lovely to spend the week with them soon... 
Today though as a little treat, and a chane to start my vacation off right, I'm going to head on down to the beach and spend some of the day just lazing away in the shade with a cool drink and those beachy vibes...

A little goth girl on the beach today, the sun is shining and the light bouncing off the white sands and the glittering waves... This little goth girl will have to be careful that the sun doesn't affect her pale skin and give her a golden glow... Deserted Beach Party

Had a day off today, and for some reason I decided to get myself into something random... I was out and about where it got far too hot, I NEEDED to find a way to cool down and there was nothing that I could do to make it any cooler.. I guess that's what I get for taking a day out to explore the desert in the summer... Luckily I'm like Mary Poppins when it comes to packing my bags, they contain everything... 

My Mary Poppins style bag manages to contain everything, so that when I'm stuck in places like the middle of the Desert - which in this case happens to be a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - I can reach into my bag and pull out everything I need for me and my pretty puppies to turn the sands of the desert into a beachy playground... 
A cute little radio - which happens to be the Cheeuh Radio's Summer Edition from Aardvark - starts the party as my pool is magically filled with water, and the Pocket Surf Set - a Summerfest creation from the mind behind everfaery - kicks into gear and the wave machine starts so I can even get my surf on... Luckily for me I had put my Furiosa Bikini - a set from Normandy - on under my clothes today... Was very much necessary...

Winner, Winner and a Dolphin Shaped Prize!

The weather has gotten really nice here in the Netherlands. I'm definitely not a Summer kinda girl, I HATE it when it's too hot, but today was warm and sunny, there was a cool breeze in the air and I really wished that I'd been able to be outside on a holiday rather than stuck at work indoors. 
I'd have loved to have been able to go to places I went to as a kid on days like today... We used to visit my nan and grandad at the beach, we'd go to the boardwalk fun fair and play the copper slot machines,we'd eat fish'n'chips and dance as the freezing cold waves tickled our toes... Those were the days, I wish I could go back to them... 

On the Otter Pier - which happens to be a backdrop created by Fashiowl Poses for The Arcade, it's the rare prize in the collection full of amazing poses - of the Ocean City Boardwalk, there are lots of wonderful places to pick up a quick snack at the Hungry Otter, and try my luck at some of the arcade games... A Helluva Scoop for a Little Puppy

I had a lovely, scrummy, pizzalicious dinner tonight... We don't treat ourselves to take out all that often, it's an expense that we can't always seems to afford, but tonight after so much stress over the past few weeks that tonight HellBone thought that I was deserving of a treat... 
For dessert it had to be the perfect time for a wonderfully yummy Ice-Cream... I might just take a trip out to the boardwalk to find the Ice-Cream man... 

There's a guy at the Ocean City Boardwalk - which is in fact a backdrop from Synnergy,Tavis - that is the proud vendor of the Dippy Spots Ice-Cream Cart - a cute, fun release from Junk Food at the current round of Anthem - and as he should be because he sells the most delicious ice-creams that you can build to the sky... 
My Ice-Cream is definitely one Helluva Scoop - from Aardvark at N21 - or should that be more than one considering I got a little greedy and had myself 7 scoops... I had 2 vanilla balls, 3 dark chocolatey balls and 2 chocolate mint balls... I think that might be a bit much for just little me, but since I brought the puppy with me and she's been such a good doggy, I can scoop off the top ball and after checking there is no chocolate on it, I'll be happy to share!

Not the Robo Woofers

My last few pictures have been full of sunshine and prettiness, but today I'm going to have a change of tact, I'm going to do something a little darker, a little more sci-fi and a little more kick ass... I feel feisty, I NEED to do something a little more dangerous looking... I cannot wait to relax this weekend, and a chance to celebrate something special this weekend... First and foremost though I have to kick ass and clean house...

Escaping through the ship into a Cyber tunnel - a backdrop from Paparazzi for those who are interested - Rudh was on the run. Dodging into the darker places to avoid the scanning robotic eyes of the Robo Woofer - an older but still awesome release from Hilted - guard dogs that were hot on her trail. That was the problem with these kind of missions, the ones that had robotic guards always seemed to be a little trickier... 
She'd thought that this time she'd disguised herself pretty well, matching the neon cyber markings of the people that inhabited this little corner of the future, but the glow was spreading to her Imp Parts - a collection from STOIC - making them stand out way more than she'd hoped! Even her outfit was meant to help her blend in - a cute Sytau set from Normandy that is currently available at Whore Couture until March 31st, worn with the cutest of Normandy Naxell Bras (which does actually come with panties that I've not worn here) just to hide those cute little nip-nips - and ALL she really had to do was get in, get the secret codes and get the heck out. How was she to know that her tail would flick and trigger the alarm to sound?! Time to grab for her guns and make for the closest NF111 bike she could find - which just happens to be a pose and prop set from Fashiowl at Cyber Fair until march 23rd!

Hanging around in the BOOM!

What happens when you leave the oven on too long whilst baking FAR too many cookies... If you perhaps, leave it on and walk away from the kitchen... BOOM!!! The kitchen becomes a warzone and there's fire everywhere... Now OK this didn't actually happen following yesterday baking binge, but had you going there for a moment, didn't I?! 
For some reason today, just like yesterday, I got an idea into my mind and that idea took on a bit of a snowball effect, going from a twinkling in my eye to a picture on the screen... It was a total blast to shoot, although it was a littl dangerous hanging from my parachute in the middle of a warzone... 

I thought it would be easy, I parachuted into the location, hoping to find out where the fires were being started  but due to my miscalculation and the wind blowing a little more than I realised, I found myself caught up and swinging from a crane right over the middle of an almost "Dead" City - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis by the way - legs dangling as things were blowing up around me and below me... Looks like I might miss out on some of the fighting this time...

Cookie Chaos in my Holiday Kitchen

Since it's the run up now, day 2 on the slippery slope to the Festive Days, I decided that whilst I was at home it might be a good idea to get started on my Christmas baking. I've never been a very good baker, in fact I sometimes wonder how I manage to cook toast without it burning, but since Mum has already made and past me a home-made Christmas Pudding I figured that perhaps I should try and make some delicious cookies this year... How hard can it be to make gingerbread? 

In my adorable little Holiday Kitchen - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - I pulled out all of the ingredients, and pulled on a sexy Baking Bae Apron - from Vanilla Bae - to get myself started... Once I started, I couldn't stop myself from baking more and more, houses and gingerbread men for everyone and as decoration too, but things started going a little strange. I'd followed the recipe in the strange old Thor's Country Cook Book, and I'd rolled the dough to the right consistency, but it started to escape... It was Escaping raw dough - from Aardvark for The Farmers Market - the dough was coming to life, and then the Gingerbread men became Psycho Cookies - from Tardfish at The Warehouse - running around with knives in search of a gang of jelly babies to rough up! I'm telling you, Christmas Candy is BRUTAL!!

Pizza on Cyber Monday

After the Black Friday weekend and all of the fabulous sales that were dominant in Second Life this weekend - I've seen it said that the sales in SL seem better than they were in RL, and I think that I am in agreement with that statement - the sales were epic and massive in their number. Although now that Monday has come around, there has recently been a new day in the sales calendar, Cyber Monday... Of course, although it's an extra day of shopping, today is the chance for me to do Cyber in a different kinda way... 

Tonight, I'm heading into the Old Arcade - a pose set with the arcade machine props from Fashiowl Poses - where the new and shiny cyborgs are hanging out to dine on some delicious Pizza. Eating Pizza is a messy business, and the cheese seemed to get everywhere. Already Gone...

It's here, it's here the day that I've been waiting for. I CANNOT be more excited but I have SO MUCH to do, I haven't even really done my packing properly yet and I feel like I'm going to forget something, but I DON'T CARE! I'm going home today, back to good ol' England to spend some much needed time with my Mummy! I have things to get done, packing aside, I have to make sure the house is nice for HellBone while he's alone for two whole weeks, and I have to make sure that I have a gift box ready to send to someone very important, as well as taking a few minutes to sit down here and say 'Don't miss me too much, I WILL be watching and WILL be back!!' 

I always find myself getting more than a little stressed on the days when I have to get ready to go home... I panic like "do I have enough underwear?" "what shoes should I take?" "Do I need a cold weather or a rainy weather jacket?" but then I have to stop myself and realize that none of that matters. I'll be in the UK, not on the moon... If I forget something, I can always get what I need in the UK!! 
I'd packed my bags, grabbed my plushie that I ALWAYS have to take with me when I travel, and even picked up some delicious Submarine Subs on a handy Pick Up Tray - from Junk Food - because you cannot travel without snacks! I think I am ALMOST ready... Will I ever be ready?? 

I have to admit that in ALL of the chaos whilst I was packing to go, I kinda sorta forgot to finish up here... I'm already in the UK, I'm safe and happy but what the heck I'll finish this and make sure everyone knows I'm going to be on the down low for a couple of weeks!!!

Mummy's Lil' Trick or Treaters

We're getting closer and closer to the day that the kids are allowed to wander the streets begging for candy. It's not something that we really do here in the Netherlands, although Halloween is slowly becoming more and more popular, but I can't help but get into the Halloween spirit and feel lucky that I'm able to do more Halloweenie stuff in SL... 
Though for my 31 days of Halloween look today I've been lumbered with a rather arduous task of taking the streets kids out Trick or Treating... I'm a Mummy that's been made to be a mummy to all of the little monsters... 

I'm going to wander along the Trick-n-Treat Lane - a backdrop from Synnergy, that's now become Synnergy.Tavis - with an army of monstrous kids of different ages and sizes, wearing all manner of different costumes; some scary others not, and we are going to have a great time collecting candy... Even the family pets got a chance to come out for a little Trick or Treating... As their "Mummy" minder though I've laid down the rule that I get at least one treat from each of the kids tonight... I wonder what goodies I'll be able to feed my Cauldron Creature - from Evil Baby - when I steal from their Pumpkin Pails - from Junk Food.

A Dark Adventure at Ghost School

It's OCTOBER!!! Finally the spooky season has started and I'm SO EXCITED!!! There is so much going on this month, and I plan on harming my psyche with 31 different costumes in 31 days!!! I LOVE the spooky season!! It's the best and most wonderful time of the year... 
I also have some of the most amazing news... Our very special, spooky event, a DARK ADVENTURE for 2022 has FINALLY opened!! We're going on a tour of the world and hope that you'll come with us!!! 
Welcome to the Ghost School, and I'm sure this month you'll meet some of the spookies that will be haunting the place... First a trip into the School Gymnasium... 

There's spooky things going on at the Ghost School... Monsters are coming in and going out, a ballgame took place and the head of the cheer squad is disposing of the losing team's captain. Her uniform is a new style in the Anna range - a set released by miss chelsea for the Belleza Event - it makes her school colours, and looks AWESOME!!!

Guarding the Engine Room

There is a rumour going around that something totally top secret is stored within one of the many sub-chambers of the Engine Room... It's so secret that even the rooms creators have no idea exactly what may be stored inside. It's definitely something that is super important though since they have now posted their own brand of armed guards, posted at the gates to the grounds... 

Rudh has been posted as a guard on the northern end of the estate, where the Darkness - a backdrop from IDK Poses - is thick and foggy, puts the senses right on edge... The uniform of these guards is gorgeous but definitely not warm enough for this kind of weather. The Guinevere Jacket - part of the Luas outfit, along with the mask worn in this look - and the Viktoria Corset with this extra caging - available from sixx x wraith at the Engine Room - really doesn't keep you all that warm, althoug it's so chic looking. It looks even better when the St. Czapka Cap - from Grasshopper - is added to the top! 
These guards may not be very warmly dressed, but they are very well armed... The Aether Stream Pistol - a weapon from Artemisia - is a brutal pistoal charged with ionic techology that will obliterate anything that it touches, and if that wasn't enough power, the Magus Rod - from Quills & Curiosities at The Warehouse - will freeze you on the spot the moment that you try to cross a guard...

Out Driving in Hollywood

I think I want to escape... I want to run away somewhere that's not home, where the people aren't annoying customers or crazy builders... Both of these types of people are annoying me right now, and I can't escape them, I go to work they are there, I come home and they are here lol... I WANT TO ESCAPE! I might run away on an adventure... 

Maybe I'll go to the woods, maybe I'll go to the beach, ooooh or maybe I'll go somewhere the lights glitter and the people are fabulous... Flutters at the Flower Market

It's been such a hot few days here, and I worked my ass off all weekend, so today I've been able to finally able to take a break and relax a little bit. I really hope that things cool down here so that I don't have to work in heat like that again. 
Today has been fairly relaxing, I've done a few things around the house, taking my time with them while trying to stay cool, and even went to the market. I was so tempted to get some flowers, there are SO many beautiful flowers and they looked so happy... I know they'd wilt at home... 

One of my favourite things in my SL home has to be the little market area that I've set up... I wanted something pretty to decorate the space, and since I love flowers, the flower market seemed to fall together naturally... SO MANY FLOWERS, and a touch of magic... I'd done some shopping, I'd bought a paper and some bread and fruits but the colours of the flowers, and the flashing flickers of colours drew me in. The beautiful Fluttery Friends - a hunt item from Quills & Curiosities, available until August 31st at Enchantment - were enjoying the gorgeous flowers too... What a beautiful Flower Shop - a pose set from Fashiowl helped with this picture set up - and well once hooked, I was buying flowers LOL...

A Future Space Odyssey

I'm stuck at home and I am BORED lol... I thought that I'd been able to get myself back to normal, but then I caught Corona and now I'm stuck at home with HellBone.. I can't wait to get over this sickness... 
My mind has been wandering, trying to work out ways to keep myself entertained... I find myself wondering about things like the future. When I was a kid they believed that we'd be flying cars by now, but we're teaching people about washing our hands, and still getting sick... 
Though I'd think that there could at least be some interesting things going on, a little bit neon and a lot of cute... 

There could be a Space Odyssey - like the backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - where the information is written in the stars.
