Say it Loud, Say it Proud!

It's June, and in SL that can only mean one thing... PRIDE!!! I know in the Netherlands, Pride is celebrated from the end of July until the beginning of August, but that's fine because more Pride celebrations for me! 
Pride is an important event... Now days being different and being a part of the LGBTQ+ culture is an openly accepted thing, for the majority of people, yet it's still a great thing to see the Pride movement getting more recognition and more support with each passing year... No longer should people suffer in silence, it's time to be loud and proud and stand out in the crowd... 

I'm starting my Pride celebration and support this year on the Edge of Love - from K&S, available for this year's Pride at Home Event - and although I'm wearing a Silence Tag - from Tentacio - I will not be silenced. I've been married to HellBone for years and years now, so I guess I'm more on the supporter side than I was when I was younger. 
Rainbows become prevalent this month, and I'm going to wear them as much as I can, in support of those that I know and love, because let's face it isn't that what Pride is about... Love being Love, no matter who you love...

A Test Run for a Christmas Dinner

T'was the night before Christmas Eve, and I've finally finished work for the year. There is still lots to do... Have wrapping, and cleaning, and food preparation. I might even take an evening to do a test run, I always panic making Christmas Dinner, there are just so many things that can go wrong... 
I cooked up a storm... Roasting, baking, boiling and mashing... I had to make sure that everything will be perfect on Saturday... 

Look at all this delicious food, I am so ready for Christmas Day's Dinnertime feast... It's possibly one of the things I'm most looking forward to... All that Turkey, Stuffing, Potatoes and lashings of Gravy - thanks to what was a Thanksiving Dinner or Holiday Dinner from Junk Food - with a few of the typically English trimmings like Brussel Sprouts and Pigs in Blankets - from Stockholm & Lima - who also provided the Christmas Crackers... A terrible Christmas tradition with a silly toy, a paper crown and the worst joke known to man lol... There's even some Christmas Pudding for dessert!!

A Strange Nurse in a Dark Hospital

Oh my god today was insanely, busy! We were crazy from the moment that I got there and things just never seemed to slow down. I barely stopped walking, and didn't sit down and now I'm tired and sore and very uncomfortable... All I wanna do is sleep, but I need someone to nurse me back to health and stop the painful aches hehe... 
Someone call me a nurse please? 

Maybe this isn't the nurse that I was expecting... I mean there have been so many other options, but this nurse that based her look on the somewhat Resident Evil style... I just hope that she has soft hands and is good at helping someone sore to relax. I mean she's a very BeSpoke Ghoul although slightly Necrotic - available from Necrosis - and I worry because her eyesight is not as good as it could be, which is why she is using borrowed eyes - from Hotdog - but she looks like she might help?!

You'd never guess that it's February and almost Valentines, the way that I'm being more dark and twisted than pretty valentine romace, but meh who needs the flying little wing baby anyway. I am loving being dark and twisted, and isn't Valentines about doing the things that you love hehe... 
Now I heard that more and more people are getting the injection to protect against  Covid, but there are more people that are against it too, it's the injection that will zombify us all, in fact it's your turn to see the Nurse... 

The nurse will see you now... Just watch your step and please pay no mind to the lost souls of Lilith's Den and the Tainted Lovers that seek their lost hearts. Their empty rib cages bared as they attempt to find their lost loves, roaming the halls of the hospital. 
Our dead nurse waits in the corridor shot in her hand, is it a vaccine, or is it something a little more deadly... Are you willing to take the risk? Her crazy red eyes - from Suicidal Unborn - glaring from the dark. Is that due to the blood lust that she's sharing all over her uniform, or could it be something contained within the medicines she seems to be playing with... The Father's Spookshow Medicinal Pills all over her face,seeping the toxins within into her skin. She's already showing signs of being sick... Look at the blush on her cheeks - the blush along with the thermometer is in a Sick Set from [NoRush]. she is taking her temperature but my guess is that it's already too late for her!!

When the Music Stops

I'm trying so hard not to let myself feel worn out, drained and emotionless, but there was news this week that there is a total ban on travel between the Netherlands and the UK, and while I see the positive that with the UK suffering under the new strain of Covid-19 it's better to keep it quarantined over there, it also removes the option that I had "IF" I needed to be able to get back to my parents fast! I'm trying not to let it scare me, but it's hard to avoid the difficult thoughts. 
I feel like I want to be alone to hide, but also feeling like channeling some of my emotions into something that pleases me.... Photography helps, Music helps... Let's combine the two... 

It's been so long since I got to see live music in RL... I used to try as often as possible, but again due to Covid everything has been cancelled! The Poor Rocker Chick snuck out of band practice early, sitting on the steps before she has to load the van, smoking a cigarette and cuddling the guitar of her favourite rock boy... It's the closest she will get to him, but if that's all she will get - she'll take it! 
I mean let's face it, we're not allowed much social interaction anymore...

Shopping at the Christmas Market

 It's just a few days before Christmas now, the snow ball is rolling down the hill so fast that if you blink now you will miss the big day. I wanted to purchase a few little more gifties for the people that deserve them, and decided that some fresh air at the Cheri Noel outdoor Christmas market was the perfect place to go... It seemed that my Newfie Pewf pal - from Jian - decided that I would need help in picking out and carrying some more decorations for my home... 

Wandering around, through the stalls, picking up and collecting the packages wrapped in pretty paper and ribbons it started to feel more Christmassy today. Light Me Up

It seems to be a customary thing for me every year to start working out ways to either get myself off of the naughty list, or embrace it more than ever. This year I am going to just say screw it and embrace the fact that I've been on the naughty list for years, and that's where I am going to stay. 
I even found some of my gifts that had been hidden away, and well, since I found them maybe it wouldn't hurt to have a little pre-Christmas fun...

Apocalyptic-ish Ramblings!

When you're lost and alone, wandering the dusty streets of the post-apocalyptic you can head on down to Tralala's Diner to get yourself a delicious burger... It will help you with the desolation, the loneliness and the sadness, it will make you smile!!! 

Feeling a little less girly than I have been recently is definitely making me feeling somewhat happier though, I'm loving getting back into my dead doll roots a little bit, and well... Halloween isn't that far away! Today being a little post apocalyptic I've pulled on a mask - good in both world's for wearing one I am - and granted it's a little more dangerous looking in SL but that's the fault of PSYCHO.Byts with their Feral Gerd Masks - available now at ACCESS - and it's funny that my mask covers more than my Mug' top but that's also because of my Cyber Pasties from the MuggleBorn Mainframe! 

OH and one more thing that I want to point out, is the little red dot on my amazing Mug top... It's not actually a dot, it's a Boma Cola Bottle Cap Necklace that comes with some earrings and a tongue piercing - you can get your set too amongst the Desolation from Star Sugar!
