Demonic Heart Collectors

It's almost February, and there has been a slow, subtle trickle of all sorts of hearts and flowers beginning to appear in the Second Life universe... It's the season of Love and it's almost here, and although I am NOT a huge fan of Valentine's, the romance is not something that can really be avoided... There's plenty of love out there for everyone, lots of love that can be sweet, passionate and burn bright hot, but it can also cause a world of hurt and pain. There may be angels singing songs and prising the good side of love, but there's always a demon that loves love for the darker reasons... 

On an Evil Night like this one, the demons are already on the look out for those little love hearts that have gone astray. Collecting up the beating hearts - like the Beating K-Hearts from KitCat available this weekend for the Saturday Sale - this little demon has decided that wearing some adorable gloves like her favourite pair of "clawed halfgloves" - from Quills & Curiosities, available now at The Warehouse - to pick them any she finds. These ones are relly, super pretty...

A Strange Nurse in a Dark Hospital

Oh my god today was insanely, busy! We were crazy from the moment that I got there and things just never seemed to slow down. I barely stopped walking, and didn't sit down and now I'm tired and sore and very uncomfortable... All I wanna do is sleep, but I need someone to nurse me back to health and stop the painful aches hehe... 
Someone call me a nurse please? 

Maybe this isn't the nurse that I was expecting... I mean there have been so many other options, but this nurse that based her look on the somewhat Resident Evil style... I just hope that she has soft hands and is good at helping someone sore to relax. I mean she's a very BeSpoke Ghoul although slightly Necrotic - available from Necrosis - and I worry because her eyesight is not as good as it could be, which is why she is using borrowed eyes - from Hotdog - but she looks like she might help?!

Finding the Magic in Fairy Shoes!

The magic seems to be fading, and the Midsummer Enchantment is drifting to a slow close - not that I'm unhappy about it, it just means we're one step closer to Halloween lol - but as the magic of the summer begins to fade we have to start looking elsewhere for our magic... 

While walking around, exploring a little, Rudh came across one of the most magical things... A Fairy Circle... You could see the magic sparkling within, and it was just perfect timing... Magic is something that she needs right now... 

She stepped into the Magical Fairy Circle - a creation by Raindale at this year's Midsummer Enchantment, which actually I should tell you closes it's doors tomorrow so DON'T MISS OUT!! - and sat down on a large wooden stump, kicking off my gorgeous, but not so walking through the woods friendly, Lyndis Booties - from Wicca's Originals - to rest my poor feet... 

It happened a few moments later, I fell into a sleep surrounded by the scent of cotton candy and when I woke after what seemed like an eternity - but could really have just been moments - a pair of the prettiest, daintiest fairy shoes... Like something from a fairytale, princess shoes that are made for dancing - the Viki "Tremane" Shoes, I should add hehe...

One more thing I want to add, aside from the story I'm sharing is a little close-up... You can see hints at my rings but you really need to see these gorgeous Velika Rituals "Eternal Mist" Rings, not to forget my Dark Passions "Lunar Tear" Nails too!!! Hence, a close-up was needed...

The Eclipse is the time to get his Heart

Deep in the dark of the crypt at the Cemetery, Rudh is dealing with the remains of her zombie ex-boyfriend... She has missed his touch, missed his voice, and missed the closeness that came with him... Unfortunately now, the only way she gets to see her man is by heading to the Cemetery and desecrating his grave and pulling his remains free one by one... Today she's taken his heart! 

The blood gets everywhere, especially when you're trying to take his heart... There's only a few days a year that you can do it.. The nights of the Eclipse are the best days for taking your beloved's heart!
The Wicca's Originals "Emily" is the dress of choice with some spiked killer heels, and accessorising with some bandages from HUMAN GLITCH... 
It's the only way to get the heart of her former love... I miss him, and don't want to wait till another Eclipse until he can be reanimated again!

Welcome to Paradise...

Sometimes you just want to run away, I know that I do, more than I should possibly... Right now it's RL that is making me want to run like the wind to a place that's not here! It's more than a little cold right now, and although I am able to say I much prefer the weather to be too cold, than too hot - too hot and I start to complain, ask Hell lol - but the walk to work this morning was so cold that when my eyes were watering due to the wind, the tears actually stung as they started to freeze!
Luckily for me, while I sit at my desk cradling a cup of tea like it's the most precious thing on earth, I can sit and write a post in my Rambling space about dancing around on a hot tropical beach as a mermaid... One that walks on land as well as swims in the sea. Apparently, one that lures boats to shore, and then kidnaps and hides the sailors hehe...

I love playing dress up, I really do... I used to play make believe a lot as a kid, like most children do, but never did I ever really dress up to do so. Now that I am older, maybe crazier, and in SL, I can do just that and have a damn good time doing so... and I will admit that my love of fancy dress is helped by the themed events that dominate the SL shopping horizon!
Sometimes I'm a zombie, others I'm a princess but today I am a Mermaid on a warm tropical beach... That's right Rudh... Think warm thoughts hehe...
I got more than a little excited when I saw the Mermaid collection that is available now at The Fantasy Collective! Although I tend to spend a LOT of my time as a Living Dead Dolly, if I am going to play dress up into something pretty and fantasy style it will most likely be either fairy, unicorn or mermaid related LOL...
I found a fantastic - albeit Adult - beach at The G-Spot. It has lots of hidden coves and a tropical feel that was perfect for my mermaid look, although don't be surprised if you head over there and people flirt with you! You have been warned lol...
I was lucky, maybe my mermaid look put people off but to be honest I LOVE this modern mermaid style!! It was difficult to choose between this awesome dress and killer pair of pants, so I was lucky that when I combined them they looked great!
The dress is a Mesh Mesh Dress made by FDD, for The Fantasy Collective, and as soon as I saw it I HAD to have one. Available in four different net colours, the dress is very see-through although it is adorned with some adorable sea creatures like crabs and starfish - argh trying hard not to joke about wearing a dress with crabs *facepalms* my stupid brain! I fell in love with this dress, it's the reason that I was drawn into The Fantasy Collective this month, and I HAD to have one hehe...
The other must have for me from the event were these awesome =Kio= Mermaid Leggings in a teal colour. It's not normally a colour that I would go for but I couldn't resist, and the belt that comes with the pants has so many different colour options in a HUD, they are very easy to wear pants!
Accessorising in a Mermaid style came easy, the event was filled with such wonderful things to make me a part of their world - see lol... Little Mermaid reference kinda! - choosing the beautiful Seashell Hat in a gray colour from Wicca's Wardrobe, some fishy style Mermaid Scales on my forehead from Arise, a Shell necklace from Atomic and then just as I was about to take the photo a coral starfish became an eye-patch - the Undine Eyepatch from Cubic Cherry Kre-ations - and I thought what the heck that looks cool hehe...
Now all I need is a sexy pirate to lure to his doom, and today will be a better - and hopefully warmer - day!
