Pride is at an End!

June is almost at a close, and that means that Pride month is almost coming to a close. Just a few more hours of Pride events to celebrate the fantastic month of awareness and love. a chance to celebrate diversity and differences of love and it's many happy lovelies... It's been a great month, so many beautifully fun events have been run. There's been parties and concerts and parades... The colours have shown, the support has shown, and Love is love and it's everywhere...  

Unfortunately, as the month comes to an end, Pride events must also end... That doesn't mean that everything Pride stands for has been closed and we no longer have to think of the things Pride stands for. The feelings of Love being Love, people being allowed to love whoever they love and be whomever they choose to be, shall remain and be virtues that are worth fighting for... 
I do have time for just one more set of rainbows and sparkles... A rainbow to show that Love is Love, a Doitsu No Kuma TeddyBear for cuddles and hair a rainbowlicious Hair gift from Mina, that is sharing a little love of a different kind. My hair is actually a gift hair that you can pick up at this year's Hair Fair. There will be more information on that in another post but it's raising money for Wigs for Kids and surely, while we're thinking of Love, giving a child a little support and happiness that they need is a very lovely and important task!

Pizza Delivery to the Angels

Everyone has their favourite foods, and I think that one of my favourite foods just happens to be Pizza... I like to home-make pizza, I like to order pizza and very occasionally I will have a frozen pizza that's quick and easy to warm up... 
I'm sure everyone has their favourite foods, but I wonder, as I'm tucking into a pizza, is there pizza in the afterlife? Is everyone able to get their hands on their favourite foods? Do they do delivery in Heaven? 

If it's not a thing already, perhaps we need to open a pizza delivery service for the angels... We'll be the Pizza Angels... Do Not Disturb!

It finally happened, I dodged it for most of the Pandemic and even though I went out to work every day as normal, rode the public transport as normal and even found myself in the odd crowded place, I didn't catch the dreaded Covid until NOW! Today I tested positive and that means I am now stuck under quarantine for the next 5 freaking days... I've only just started to go back to normal life, and now I'm stuck at home AGAIN!!! 
Looks like I'm going to be taking a little break, a little rest, and since I'm going to be stuck at home in RL, I'll be living through Rudh, who will be taking a holiday on a beach somewhere warm and sunny... 

I found an island oasis - a backdrop from FOXCITY - that is just perfect, white sand beach with a few palm trees and the odd starfish. It's going to be a perfect place to rest... I've brought myself a good book, I'll build a sandcastle, and use the leaves of the palm trees for shade and as a blanket to lay out and enjoy the peace on... As a final touch though, I'll have to make sure that I have a hat close by, need something to protect myself from the sun's rays, and it will be esecially handy when I decide to take a nap - thanks to the amazing CHEERNO Tropical Hat!

Ice Cream Treats for Dessert!

After dinner, I don't always feel a need to have dessert but when I do I often reach for a delicious, sweet and icy cold... As they often say, "I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream"... Let's all scream for Ice Cream... 
Let's all head to the Ice Cream shop, where we can all have some delicious frozen treats... 

There is adorable little ice cream shop in town, it's bright and rainbowlicious, and decked out to look more than a little retro. Even the bar is created to be an adorable little van of Ice Cream Dreams - from MadPea - and there are so many delicious flavours and toppings and cups or cones... SO MUCH CHOICE! You could even do like my little pug friend, he's such a Sneaky Snacker - he's also available from Jian - and he stuffed his head into an industrial sized tub, he's my hero!
This place though, is even cooler than just the retro bar... The servers are dressed in the coolest, and yes the pun was intended, costumes ever! My server today was wearing a pretty Banana Ice Cream Delight - created by Ananas for the Summerfest Event - apparently her partners were decked out in the blueberry and cherry versions, I'll have to go find them somewhere!

Sweet Summery Sunday Crepes!

It's Sunday and a day of rest. I still have things that need to be done around the house, but I am taking things slow and easy and very restfully. I have a TERRIBLE cold that I am fighting like a crazy person and holding back from murdering my husband for sharing it with me. 
I'm going to be taking it easy when it comes to making food too, pancakes - although I might be calling it Crepes, just so it sounds more interesting... 

I whipped up a batch of pancake mix and made the delicious crepes on the griddle - from Second Spaces. I forgot how much fun it was to make pancakes. 
Then it came to toppings... There are so many different things that you can put on crepes, but today I decided to go with some Sweet Summery Crepes - from Cat-Noodle at Summerfest - with lots and lots of Ice cream - from vespertine - and even more oodles of cherries - from kotte.

Charging in the Toxic Pool

It's FRIDAY NIGHT!!! That means, or at least it did when I was younger, that it's PARTY TIME!! 
I've wanted to have a little party for a while, I wanted to relax and let the neon lights and cool water of a Pool Party... The fantasy diva in me, ready to bask in the neon glow... 

Now a pool party at the pool of the Cyber Fae would never be anything by electrofying... The water in the pool has gone green and it's illuminating all of the flowers growing around the edges - which are actually from Half-Deer by the way - and the little mermaids that had come to the party transformed into teddy bears the swam round and round... 
The Cyber Fae was swimming around in the pool and it was charging up all of her cybernetic parts... The gems in her Starlink Wings - from Evil Baby - started to sparkle a little more than usual, and there was so much electric charge that as she slipped back into the pool, her eyes experienced an "Ocular Lightning" - from Quills & Curiosities at We <3 Roleplay - and it was electrofying...

The Casting of Magical Spells...

It's time for a little magic... Lately I've been all over the place when it comes to blogging, mostly a lot of summer sun and silliness which isn't a bad thing, but it did leave my magical creativity on the back burner just a little bit and when that happens, wonderous things can occur... 
Even just the opening of a book can cause wonderous things to happen... 

In a quiet corner of the Secret Garden - which just happens to be a backdrop from Synnergy - one of the pretty garden wood nymphs has managed to get her naughty little hands on a copy of the Ars Occultus, from the libraries of Quills and Curiosities - which has been released at the current round of We <3 Roleplay - and couldn't wait to test some of the spells for herself. 
Admittedly her little Hummingbird companions Blue and Ruby - both of which are recent releases from MishMish - weren't too sure of the idea, but there haven't been THAT MANY accidents lately! The ingredients didn't seem to bad either, just a pinch of this, a splash of that, a basket of Ophelia Canola Flowers - which she picked at the garden of Ariskea - and a Crystal Relic - from Paper Antler - that she had to "borrow" from one of the elders!! Oh, what bad can come of it...

Watermelons for Summer!

I've talked about this before, but it was such a long time ago... 
In the past, in what feels like another life almost, I had a cute little nickname when I was part of a gang that hung out at Sanctuary Rock. I would be greeted with people calling me "Rudemellons" after a crazy game of what could my name be changed to be that was easier to say than Rudhmellowen. 
Since then I've been somewhat crazy for watermelon in SL... It's such a pretty colour, the designs are amazing and well, it tastes delicious!!! A perfect fruit on a hot summer day... 

Would be such a perfect time right now to find a beautiful place, like a Riviera Balcony - a backdrop from FOXCITY - on a Boardwalk beach - like the backdrop from Synnergy - somewhere warm and sunny. I'm not good in the heat, but sometimes being somewhere I can drop into a pool or the sea will be a much better option. Being able to drop into the sea would be lovely, especially if I can do it while wearing an adorable Decoy Natalia Swimsuit - that you can pick up in a varitey of different colours at Summerfest. 
Then to dry off I'll pose in the sun, while I dig into some delicious watermelon as a massive shout out and a "Hello Summer"!

Tonight I'm Going Out!!

I'm posting reeaaaallllllyyyyy early for me today, since tonight, for the first time since I had my scary operation at Christmas, I will be going out for some real fun. Tonight it's all about the live music, and I cannot wait to let my hair down as I go to party at the Five Finger Death Punch concert!! I'm super excited, but also extremely nervous too... I haven't been out like this since before Corona struck... 

Before I get nervous and chicken out, I should get ready. My stomach is in knots, even though I REALLY want to go... 
I wish it was easier, like it is in SL... Rudh will always be ready to go, wandering down the stairs primped and preened and perfect looking. Bubble War... It's On!!

Sunday, as I've said before, is bath night in my house which can be taken in a lot of different ways. As long as there are bubbles, things could be called a bath right?!
Today, I've decided to go big on bath night. It's not just bath night...Hell is busy playing 'Call of Duty', I've decided that I'm going to declare war on HellBone... Come fight me Mr Barbosa LOL... 

I caused a bit if a problem, I added something to our Private Spa - which is actually a backdrop from FOXCITY - so that the whole pool ended up FULL of bubbles! Bubbles everywhere, in the air, in the water and all over me! 
I will make sure it's a fair fight though, Hell can have access to the bottles of Bubble liquid, bubble wands and bowls - which have been provided by Junk Food Bubbles Set - but I have the perfect weapon, a Bubble Blower - from Hive, in the classic not heart shaped bubble version. I'm in it, to win it!

Making Unboxing Videos!

Yesterday I suffered through a TERRIBLE migraine, and when I wasn't laying in the dark, trying to avoid any form of light or noise, I found moments where things eased and I ended up watching random videos, by some of my favourite ladies, on my phone... There are so many that I'm now addicted to, Celina Spookyboo and her sleepwalking antics, Charlotte Dobre and her diss videos, Emmymade and her cookery videos are all winners! Yet the one that's been getting my attention most over the past few days is GraveyardGirl and her awesome unboxing videos...

Who'd have thought that in 2022 we'd be finding pleasure in watching people open packages?! People always said that there would be flying cars in 2020, LOL HOW WRONG WERE THEY? Since 2020, we've been teaching people how to wash their hands and making videos of people on social media unpacking boxes of things they've bought a popular thing. 
Readying myself to take a leap into the unboxing video game, I made sure I had my camera set up and on my recycled, Old Bar - from Krescendo - tables were ready hold all of the amazing packages that I wanted to unpack - all of the boxes are supplied by Atelier Burgundy. I've set up my theme, and yes today's unboxing video will be rainbows and Pride! I'm going to start ripping open these boxes!

The Demon Nun

I know that I've been in a funk for the past few days, but you can tell that I've kinda started feeling better since I decided to do something a little, dark and twisted and that's usually a good sign my mood is improving. After all, I only do the things I love when I'm feeling happier... People might think of the dark and moody with just a hint of gore isn't all that happy, but it's my happy place and I hope that you can accept that! 
The Demonness in me decided to try and learn something new, maybe I'm inspired by the show I'm watching talking about the Bible, but I think that Sunday School has changed, and I have found myself in a bloody mess... 

To sneak into the Sunday School, the little demonness in me managed to find a costume like a veil and headpiece - from DAMI and the Agnes Look Collection - although the Anti-Collar - from Tardfish at Fetish Fair - with it's upside down cross might just give her away as not being as nun-like as she might want you to think... It might also be one of the main reasons why the other nuns had ganged together and forced the Stake into her chest!

The Disposal of a Body

Things have been strange for the past couple of weeks... I know that there have been worse things in the world but I'm kinda falling into a black hole. In the past week, I've lost two people as the Grim Reaper took them away across the River Styx... 
I'm half asleep on the sofa this evening, and I can't stop thinking about these people. One was family, the other was more like family than the first, but neither were people that really deserved it. I'd never wish death on anyone, but there are definitely people that deserve the pain of loss more. 
I'm in such a weird mood, I am frustrated and moody, I don't want to be around people, but I need a hug. Don't mess with me this week, it's probably the best advice that I can give... 

Honestly I don't mean to appear mean and moody today... I'm sorry for anyone that gets in my way but I'm in such a mood I could go on a murder rampage. 
I know the perfect place to throw a bagged body over a bridge, if you head out into the middle of the wilderness you'll get to the Overpass - a gorgeous backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - I'd recommend a sturdy vehicle, like a H&C Wheels Truck - the Reverence for example - as the rods get a little rough...

Kinky Rainbow Pool Party Time!

Summertime should be  great time for a party... I seem to spend so much of my SL now living like a hermit and so I don't very often spend ANY time with anyone, so I guess the party that I'm throwing will be a party of one... 
I guess it means it can be any theme that I choose and they will be varied since I'm random like that... I think right now, I'm going for a theme of kinky rainbows...  

It will be cute and sweet, I mean how could rainbows be anything but... I mean I have a cute little kiddy pool - like the Puppy Bone  Pool that comes with a set of poses from -Extra- that are kitty and puppy playing in a pool poses and the reason I have decided to go all kittenish today - and the water balloons, which I ran out of and balloons whilst setting up and ended up having to find a replacement... Crabs in the Crabs Legs!

Once again, it's dinner time and I'm thinking about what it is that I want to blog today... Due to the fact that it is dinner time, all I keep thinking about is something to eat. That's why I end up looking at things that involve food and so today, again, I'm working on something a little foody... 
I've decided to start a different kind of blog, maybe more of a vlog... I'll myself up a camera and feed myself to make one of those fancy Mukbang munching videos... 

I set myself up in a cute little booth, decorated with all sorts of different beachy, fishy decor and set myself up a camera and light. Everything was ready, and it was time to set the food on the table and take a seat, I've got myself a delicious tray of crab legs, another try of noodles and LOTS of dipping sauce - delivered from Junk Food - it's going to get VERY messy... I got myself totally ready by adding my lil Bib - which is from Buglets and is actually for kid avis but can be resized - and topped the Mukbang meal outfit off with a Crabby Headband - from Ananas at The Fifty until June 20th. I was ready to eat...
I'd only started a little, when I heard movement... THERE WAS A LIVE ONE... A LIVE CRAB... I guess it's noodles for me tonight?!

Pixel Pizza for Pixel Plants!

When trying to relax there are lots of different ways to relax. Some people like to exercise, some like to shop, some like to read books - I'm usually one of those - and others play video games, but no matter what you choose to do it should be fun and allow your mind to reset itself for a moment. 
Today I'm in a gaming mind, I've been thinking about old games on my old Super Nintendo, I used to LOVE playing Mario...

Mario has gone on a little vacation, and while he's away I've been asked to feed his Chompy Plant Babies - from Tardfish - and there were no real instructions as to what they should be fed. Pridemania... It's a real party!

A week into Pride Month and it's been such a lovely month full of rainbows and messages of love and peace. Spreading the cause and raising awareness that Love is Love, no matter who you love. It shouldn't matter what gender they are, if you love them then that should be the only thing that matters... 
I'm going to be enjoying this month, filling the days with rainbows and peace and love... 

I am getting into the party spirit, lots of rainbows... A heaped amount of glitter and some confetti in the air to float between the balloons I'm using to decorate The Party Dome - a new backdrop from FOXCITY, available for Pride at Home - and I made sure that there are snacks ready, we'll be having plenty of Snowice in cups in loads of different flavours and, bags and bags of rainbow Gummybears - I know it's all Junk Food, but we're having a party and it's the best food for parties! 
Now I know some people might say there is a little too much in the way of rainbows BUT I went all out while playing in the rainbows... I LOVE rainbows...

Strange Day at the Beach

 After dinner today I finally sat down to watch some silliness on the TV, but for some reason I was feeling so much more like snoozing that my mind drifted off to far off shores, where the sun was shining and the waves were rolling up the golden sands on the beach. It might have been because the show on tv happened to be Below Deck, as normally I would hate being on the beach where it's hot lol, but I couldn't stop the feeling of desiring that, in this moment... 

On the Pacific Shores - a backdrop from Synnergy - Rudh had set herself up a perfect little spot on the beach, some sunchairs and a cool pool for keeping her drinks chilled. Her puggy friends making themselves at home, one in a ring to head out for a swim, and the other planning on getting a tan... Slipping out of her shorts but keeping her shirt on to avoid any sunburn - thanks to the adorable new outfit from miss chelsea, available now at Anthem in a variety of different colours and patterns - but suddenly there was a shift in the air. Glancing over her shoulder, there was one of the most dangerous predators on the beach... A CARDBOARD LAND SHARK - from Hilted - the only way to escape was to run into the sea where he can't follow me!!

The Beauty of a Reaper

Death is such a strange thing, a sudden goodbye and the people that are left behind are often left in a stange sort of limbo... Yesterday I heard that my an aunt of mine had died, and it's left me in a very strange barrel of emotions. I know that I should feel sad but the lady wasn't really a very nice person to anyone that she didn't like. She turned her back on her own son and made him feel like he wasn't part of the family, she tried to cut my Dad out of his Brother's life and was pretty vindictive. Yet she was still my aunt, she loved my uncle Peter and my cousins still lost their mum... 
I'm kinda wishy-washy about how I feel about it... It's a very strange feeling... 

Death is something that people don't really talk about all too often. Some are blaze about it, others are scared of what happens after we die, and there are SO MANY different beliefs as to what things can and do happen when our souls leave our bodies... 
The mists and the sparkles swirl around death with the souls of those she's taken on their long trip into the afterlife. The Solis Halo and her Bloodsworn Daggers  - both of which are from Quills & Curiosities at The Warehouse - mark her out as a sign of her rank, one of the leading death dealers, while her boss as busy... A beautiful, ghostly reaper...

What will the Future think?

The Celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee were bright and fun and perfect to show thanks to Queen Elizabeth II during the concert at the palace last night. I'm not a royalist, but she's given her life to supporting the country, and has been through so much as a guide for our nation... Now one of the reasons I'm talking about it, is because I was inspired with a section that they shared on the environment, it got me thinking about what we'd be leaving for the future... 
My mind was racin... A story came to life...   

As a lover of all things Mermaid, my mind went straight to "what would a mermaid from the future think of the seas we're creating?" You hear so often of the garbage that is being dumped into the oceans every year - I know that it's not just oceans being polluted but in this case that's what I'm thinking about more... 
In the Mermaid's Cove - available from Synnergy as a gorgeous backdrop - one of the Cyber Cove Mermaids - from Decoy at Cyber Fair - of the future has returned... Swimming through the waters, dodging the trash and wearing her oxygen tank to Just Breathe since the water is now toxic. 
I'd hate to know what they would be thinking about the state of the oceans...

Feeling Depressed, I need Sugar and Nuggets!

I hate the emotional rollercoaster that rolls through life every so often. I know that depression is something that so many people face on a daily basis, and I'm lucky that with me it's not an every day thing but when the rollercoaster hits it makes for an unhappy day... 
You get that feeling of what's the point, why am I bothering, and I cannot really bother myself to do anything... Maybe I'm not depressed, but I'm definitely not in the best of places right now... 

I can't bring myself to do anything, the thought of cooking anything just feels like way too much stress today... I am feeling too blah to even pay any attention my imaginary little friend - a Sakura Chibi Doll - who was trying to show me how she brought one of my Dino's Feast nuggets - part of the collection from dust bunny - to life. I was too focused on picking at my food and glugging down a can of Jungle Juice - from FOXCITY - I'm hoping that all the sugar will drown my sadness...

Say it Loud, Say it Proud!

It's June, and in SL that can only mean one thing... PRIDE!!! I know in the Netherlands, Pride is celebrated from the end of July until the beginning of August, but that's fine because more Pride celebrations for me! 
Pride is an important event... Now days being different and being a part of the LGBTQ+ culture is an openly accepted thing, for the majority of people, yet it's still a great thing to see the Pride movement getting more recognition and more support with each passing year... No longer should people suffer in silence, it's time to be loud and proud and stand out in the crowd... 

I'm starting my Pride celebration and support this year on the Edge of Love - from K&S, available for this year's Pride at Home Event - and although I'm wearing a Silence Tag - from Tentacio - I will not be silenced. I've been married to HellBone for years and years now, so I guess I'm more on the supporter side than I was when I was younger. 
Rainbows become prevalent this month, and I'm going to wear them as much as I can, in support of those that I know and love, because let's face it isn't that what Pride is about... Love being Love, no matter who you love...

I Want (Cotton) Candy!

Home from work, and it was a lovely day... I met some lovely customers and the new boy at work who is SUCH a cutie!!! I just feel like I'm finally starting to do better with getting back to normal in life, I cannot wait till I can actually get back to work properly. 
I think it's time for a little treat, something to reward myself for getting back and taking the steps that I needed to start getting back on track... I would like something a little sweet, a sweet treat to spoil myself... 

I have such a craving for Candyfloss, or Cotton Candy, or if you want to be dutch about it Zuikerspin. There's an advert on tv here that makes me crack up in which a woman asks for 'zuikervrij zuikerspin' = sugar-free cotton candy - and I laugh everytime I see it!
