I ain't afraid of no Ghosts...

So yesterday I was thinking a lot about Wonderland, I cannot tell you really what sparked that thought pattern but last night to distract the hubby we watched Pirates of the Caribbean and tonight it's movie night again... I'm not that much of movie buff - Lord of the Rings excluded, I could talk about that all day - but there are times when the right movie can be a good thing... They set the mood, they like my blog can take me away to another place and they bring stories to life that many may never think of... 
Now I'm going to show my age here, I'm a child of the 80s and proud of it, but do you remember when 3D movies first became a thing?! It was an insane experience... 

The first time I saw a 3D movie it was a shock... I think the first time I saw a 3D movie was the Muppets 3d in Disneyland, and I can honestly say as much as the film was fun it set my motion sickness off something terrible and I was more than a little put off from seeing things in 3D again... 
It was crazy to me how a movie brought someone's imagination to life in moving pictures but also that those moving pictures could leave a screen and be right up in your face like they could touch you... It was a bizarre feeling, one that still makes me surprised to this day... Even though now days it's less abnormal andif you try and tell youngans about it they look at you iek you have two heads, with stories of different coloured glasses!!! 
Anyway it's movie time... HellBone plans to scare me a little with a few Ghostbusters...

Calm in the Battleground Camp

I've been on cloud nine today, HellBone decided to cave in and bought himself and I new computers. It was something we needed to purchase so that we could keep up with the Second Life changes...It's like logging in on a machine that took me into another universe altogether... 
The warzone in my mind between the amount of money that it cost, became a losing battle to the way that the upgrade DEFINITELY seemed so needed... 

The ghosts and zombies of my old PC set-up stil linger in the back of my mind as I spend my time learning how to use the super fast monster machine that I have now... I'm just dealing with making it pretty, letting the hubby install all the right things and hoping that it will last me a LONG time now... I'm learning to use my new friend in the midst of the battle of my old one being sent to PC part heaven... I mean it's not hard, I'm mostly sitting back, to let the aftermath go on around me...

Rats in the Tunnels

April is here, Spring has officially started to spring, and there's something weird going on in Amsterdam where the people are causing dangerous chaos. In the last week there have been two major incidents and things are getting a little scary even in the middle of the day now... Things are changing, we seem to be heading down a bad road, maybe it's towards war, maybe the apocalypse is coming, whatever happens it doesn't feel like it's going to be good? 
Of course, when I think of the Apocalypse, my mind wonders and the fantasy begins... People evolve, situations change and because my mind drifted... I'm slipping into a fantasy world... 

For some reason when I thought about the Apocalypse and a character that would fit with theme of what was going through my mind, Rudh seemed to devolve from her human state to become a human Rat Klaws - coming from the BeSpoke Rat Klaws release for the March/April round of The Warehouse - a leader of the people that live within the Tunnem - a Paleto backdrop - underground... She gets all of the information she needs from her friendly rats, daring through the tunnels on her buggy...

A Clutter Gang of Cats!

We had heard that there have been some unsavory types lurking around in the rubble outside of the Midnight Order, whilst the magical and regal reside within... They darent venture out the doors, not only is it rubble there is falling buildings and fire, but the worst threat is the dangerous Black Gang Cats Biker club that patrol the streets looking for trouble... 

The area around the Midnight Order has been nicknamed The Barrens - which is actually a backdrop by Synnergy.Tavis - that have become an almost apocalyptic wasteland, controlled by the Black Gang Cats - a series of models by D-LAB, available until August 20th at Midnight Order. 
The leader of the Black Cats Gang arms herself with axes made of street rubble, and she carries chains for capturing those magicals that dare leave the Order...

Flames of Destruction

The high season has started at work and things are getting busy. We are running late shifts, and we have people that are coming in and rather than being polite when it comes to tastings there are people that think of it as a free lunch. We are even staying open until 8PM and that means I'm not walking in my front door, until 9.30. By that time I should already be in my pyjamas, cuddling a cup of tea and getting ready for bed... I'm not happy and things are only just starting to heat up... 

If things continue to get frustrating, if people continue not to listen and act like animals with disgusting eating habits and people that let their children run riot, I'm going to start seeing red. Any worse I'll be burning the place to the ground but to stop things getting to me I'm going to give them hell... Metaphorically you understand, not physically like I want to with a HUGE weapon like the Bitch Grinder that Rudh found - an old gacha weapon from AsteroidBox - and I'm sure is something that I could do some serious damage with... 
Although unlike me in my cheesy uniform, Rudh will be able to burn the ground in the Engine Room Steampunk style...

Escaping Through Fire...

 I've had two days at work this week, and it's been pretty shit. I love my job, but it's terrible when we are quiet at work it seems to make the day stretch out so it feels four times as long.... I'm also in charge at the moment since my boss has gone away for a few days. No-one had better mess things up this week... 
For tonight though I am going to escape, and maybe I'll blow things up and burn them to the ground... Or maybe I'll let Rudh do it, and perhaps in a more drama involved... 

Rudh never does things by halves, she's going to walk away from this and leave the place burning as she goes... The shots from her own gun, and those from her WarDog pets - a SHARD release for Midnight Order -  ricocheting from the metal walls of the station, as the monstrous-looking twisted beings try to stop their escape...

Hanging around in the BOOM!

What happens when you leave the oven on too long whilst baking FAR too many cookies... If you perhaps, leave it on and walk away from the kitchen... BOOM!!! The kitchen becomes a warzone and there's fire everywhere... Now OK this didn't actually happen following yesterday baking binge, but had you going there for a moment, didn't I?! 
For some reason today, just like yesterday, I got an idea into my mind and that idea took on a bit of a snowball effect, going from a twinkling in my eye to a picture on the screen... It was a total blast to shoot, although it was a littl dangerous hanging from my parachute in the middle of a warzone... 

I thought it would be easy, I parachuted into the location, hoping to find out where the fires were being started  but due to my miscalculation and the wind blowing a little more than I realised, I found myself caught up and swinging from a crane right over the middle of an almost "Dead" City - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis by the way - legs dangling as things were blowing up around me and below me... Looks like I might miss out on some of the fighting this time...

Stuck With No Powers!

Over the festive holidays, they tend to play some of the most random movies that could be considered classics these days but are actually films that I loved in my youth. Some of them seem crazy, as in HOW can they possibly call these things classics - it makes me feel so old to know about some of my favourites being called CLASSICS!! - yet one movie caught my attention and I couldn't resist watching for old times sake... 
Austin Powers was one of the movies that played, and it has one of the most funny scenes that cracks me up every time... It's the scene where he gets the cart stuck between two walls, I had to pay hommage to that... 

I found the perfect Sci-Fi Tunnel - a backdrop from TROPIX - and knew the perfect vehicle existed because it was one that HellBone had created, a perfect little ResCart - for Hogs & Cart Wheels. Now all I needed was a gun and the perfect outfit to respresent a Rudhish version of Liz Hurley's character 'Vanessa Kensington' the super spy and fembot...

Scooby Dooby Ruuuuuuudh!!!

It's time for another 31 days of Halloween look - that I'm actually down to 30 days due to one day of sickness that I hate to admit made me miss a day - but I am reverting my mind back to days of my childhood. I LOVE the fact that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costume made me so excitably happy, that I had to create another one of my childhood favourites. Halloween is great for the scary, but awesomer for costumes in general... 
Today, I'm going to cry out a long loud "Scooby Dooby Dooooooooooo" as I grab myself one of those delicious Scooby Snacks... 

Since Halloween is a busy time of year for the Scooby gang, we've decided to split up, I don't know where Shaggy has gotten to, but Rudhscooby -thanks to an amazing costume from Rosary - has decided to try a new set of wheels... The Mystery Machine has been downsized, for a party of one, and it's fun to ride with the wind in her hair!!
I like scooby have a massive thing for cookies, though Puppy Snacks - like the ones from Just Tony - may be a little meaty for me... 
Now there's just one thing to make sure we avoid those "meddeling kids"...

The Disposal of a Body

Things have been strange for the past couple of weeks... I know that there have been worse things in the world but I'm kinda falling into a black hole. In the past week, I've lost two people as the Grim Reaper took them away across the River Styx... 
I'm half asleep on the sofa this evening, and I can't stop thinking about these people. One was family, the other was more like family than the first, but neither were people that really deserved it. I'd never wish death on anyone, but there are definitely people that deserve the pain of loss more. 
I'm in such a weird mood, I am frustrated and moody, I don't want to be around people, but I need a hug. Don't mess with me this week, it's probably the best advice that I can give... 

Honestly I don't mean to appear mean and moody today... I'm sorry for anyone that gets in my way but I'm in such a mood I could go on a murder rampage. 
I know the perfect place to throw a bagged body over a bridge, if you head out into the middle of the wilderness you'll get to the Overpass - a gorgeous backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - I'd recommend a sturdy vehicle, like a H&C Wheels Truck - the Reverence for example - as the rods get a little rough...

The Beauty of a Reaper

Death is such a strange thing, a sudden goodbye and the people that are left behind are often left in a stange sort of limbo... Yesterday I heard that my an aunt of mine had died, and it's left me in a very strange barrel of emotions. I know that I should feel sad but the lady wasn't really a very nice person to anyone that she didn't like. She turned her back on her own son and made him feel like he wasn't part of the family, she tried to cut my Dad out of his Brother's life and was pretty vindictive. Yet she was still my aunt, she loved my uncle Peter and my cousins still lost their mum... 
I'm kinda wishy-washy about how I feel about it... It's a very strange feeling... 

Death is something that people don't really talk about all too often. Some are blaze about it, others are scared of what happens after we die, and there are SO MANY different beliefs as to what things can and do happen when our souls leave our bodies... 
The mists and the sparkles swirl around death with the souls of those she's taken on their long trip into the afterlife. Picking A Rose

A Tale as Old as Time... That Stockholm syndrome infused tale that saw a young lady trapped in by someone that kept her prisoner, someone that she eventually fell in love with and helped lift his monstrous curse... I've read other versions, in which magic was being eradicated from the land, and the heroine's mother was the one to curse the prince... Twisted and depraved... 
It's time for Belle to get a little retribution.. In my head this would be something like, her suddenly wanting to smell a flower...

After barging into the west wing, our heroine smashed the dome covering the monsters precious rose, snatching it up and walking from the room. Watching his precious leave the room, the monster was not sure which made him more frustrated...

Cyber Doggy Doo-Doos

I love to take my doggie for a walk in the park... It's always lovely and cool under the trees even on the hottest of days and the sound of the birds in the trees makes me feel so happy. Though I will fully admit that there is one thing about owning a dog that I really can't stand lol... Picking up the doodies!! I love my dog, but seriously why can't she do it and then clean up after herself, or use the toilet like a normal person LOL... 
I have to wonder if this will always be a thing... In the future when we're walking around with their cyber dogs, will we still need to pick up the doodies? 

Do you think that if the Cyber Dog, or would that be a Robo Woofer - available from HILTED - pooped, it would be something useful? Batteries perhaps? If my dog pooped batteries then she'd be much better to have around... LOL my own useful little battery maker lol...

Neon Hot, but I'm hiding in the Shadows

 My gosh it's Hot and Humid here today and I'm REALLY not happy about it... I hate this weather... I cannot wait for the summer to be GONE!!! 
Still until that point I'm allowing my mind to drift off into it's own little place of happiness and today things got more than a little neon... The world around her was lit with neon greens and golds, but she kept to herself, hid in the shadows and waited for the heat of the summer to pass... 

I was a little concerned about how dark this picture seemed to be, but I realised I LOVE IT like this... It's kinda moody, mysterious and very light in the background... It's magic, and her subtle neon outfit - made up with the Initiative Set and the Metal Cinch, both of which are from Normandy - work perfectly with her KAY-INFC3ED Mask - a creation for PSYCHO.Byts at Cyber Fair... They are almost like they were made for each other hehe...

What's wrong with the Camp Counsellors?!

Camp Necrosis is officially open, and there is a lot of fun and awesome goodies to be had for the camper seeking a little summer adventure.. Please be warned though, there have been warnings about the camp. There have been warnings that stange things have been seen and heard, and the staff at the camp have been looking a little off since preparations began.. Some say it´s cursed, others say there´s a new guy in charge, but everyone will verify that going to the lake on your own is NOT a good idea... 

Down by the dark lake - which is a backdrop from Synnergy Poses that I have actually used before for a similar kind of famous loction hehe - there has been a strange van parked up at the lake edge. The van is a strange odour coming from it, it reeks of blood and decay, and someone even said that there has been a scttering of body parts and blood dripping from the van's opened door... 
Watch out for the staff, it would seem there is more to them than meets the eye...

Pokebutts in Pokeballs

I'm really feeling all over the place at the moment, and I guess that's reflected in the fact that I'm all over the place with my blogging... Yesterday I was dark and magical, today well... I gotta catch 'em all! 

Luckily she ended up not trying to catch her adorable little pokemon friends in the original fighting manner... Who knew that Pokemon loved to play in the ball pit! I dropped a few of my Pokeballs into the ball pit to see if I could lure some of them and catch 'em all...

An Extra Smoke Break

It's finally Saturday... I've been stuck in lock down for a week now, and although I'm trying to keep myself busy I still find myself feeling just a little crazy being at home. I want to go out to work, and I'm at that point where I miss being at work - never thought I'd be saying that! 
Even Rudh is determined to get out, she's sneaking down to the parking garage, as we speak, for a sneaky cigarette...

It was all the fault of the temptations from -Extra-... Their Saturday Sale Item this weekend - for the Saturday Sale on March 21st - is a collection of Cig Fatpack poses is available for the low price of 65L per pose with it's prop, or as a fatpack for 300L - what a bargain!! This is the "Real Deal" - hehe I love that I could play around with the name of the pose too!

Riding Punks...

It's here... It's finally time... Necrosis is back and that little corner of darkness is opening up once again to bring some adorable darkness to your happy little Second Lives... 
It's time to get that motor running and ride like the wind to get your hands on all the goodies! 

The motor I've chosen to ride today is one of the items that can be grabbed at the new round of Necrosis. It's a special, and kinda exciting, bike as it's my hubby HellBone's first participation in the event, and he's taken one of his bikes in a very "Punk" direction. The H&C Wheels Punk Bike is an old school chopper, that is perfect as a single rider although there's room for two, just be careful if you decide to lean over the tank it's spiked hehe... 
So while sitting around at home, I pulled on a pair of these gorgeous Psycho Barbie Leather Ankle Boots - which are also available at Necrosis - over the super cool 1313 Mockingbird Lane Drucilla Fishnets - that are available later today at Lootbox Gacha - I jumped on my bike... It's time to get the motor running and head for the Necrosis!

Last Eclipse in a Junk Yard

It's the last day of the Eclipse now for a couple of months, so the dark and disturbed are creeping back into their evil little hiding places. October Never Dies though, so the event will be back again soon - bringing with it the true month of October and HALLOWEEN!! - yet there's just a little time left for Rudh to ponder over the darkness to come and the fun she's going to have... 

Hiding out in the junk yard, she feels like she's at home especially since this is pretty much what her inventory looks like at the moment - piles of junk everywhere!!! 
For my last ECLIPSE post this round, I've parked myself to stop and think in front of these amazing Wasteland Barrier Walls - from DRD - a collection that is readily available at ECLIPSE until the end of today, August 31st! 
Looking at this though, I am very much reminded that my inventory is a junk yard LOL, maybe soon I will take the time to clean it!!!

How about a Swim with the Fishies?

Today, Sunday June 30th, is the last day for Eclipse! I know, I know... Sad Face! It's also the closing of a chapter for the Eclipse Event as with the end of this round they are making some changes to the way it works... What those changes will be, we have to wait and see but it all sounds so very exciting - as well as a little sad! It's been an honour and great fun to work for this dark little event, that's proved 'October Never Dies'... 
Now for one last post, I'm going to dip my toe into the water and wait to see what comes next for this dark, macabre little event. It's hot, and I think a swim would be lovely! The little dead doll in me is crying out to swim with the nice fishies! 

This post-apocalyptic beach is the perfect place for a dead doll to spend her hot summer days, sitting on an old jetty that sticks out into the sea. Using an Acid Rain Lookout Post - from DRD - to shelter from the sun's heat she watches the fishies devouring some of their last meal. 
I think though it must be something to do with her blood that drew in the sharks today, I mean she's got cuts all over, and the Savette Cami - from 1313 Mockingbird Lane - that she threw on over her bikini is looking a little threadbare! 
Although you can't really see it in the main photo too, this living dead doll like to take a few risks... She's wearing her own mini anchor around her neck - the anchor comes from Ama, and would normally be perfect decoration but Rudh replaced the pretty decoration for a huge weight to help her sink!!! Since it's not so clear in the main photo then, oh yes, I've been a good girl and have added a close up!!!
