Magically Baking

Pride is a month of parties, Pride is a month of celebration for those that are different, a rememberence of a fight for equality that still has people hiding away, acting like something they are not and not living the life they want to enjoy. If anyone is needing someone now or in the future, sometimes a stranger can provide the best support, and I want people to know I'm here to be that person... 
On a happy note though, since Pride is about celebration I find myself wondering about cake... Rainbow cake for a rainbow party...

Exercise Time!

This week is two years since HellBone and I started taking a a change to make our lives a little easier, making a change to get healthier and improving all round aspects of things to get us a little brighter in general. We started a Lifestyle course, that would look at various things - not limited to diet or exercise - but including things like sleep, relaxation, learning to say no... All aspects to make life better... 

I've never been one for going to the gym, but I've started moving more so that I'm active and getting fitter by the day. I don't have so much trouble moving and feel less out of breath when I'm doing things. 
I've changed the way that I eat so that I eat smaller portions and still enjoy the things that I love. 
I've started sleeping better, reading more to relax and I'm stronger, learning to say no to the things tht I don't want.. 
Tuesday will be my last session in the group and though I'm happy about it, I've learnt a lot. I don't need to be a Gym Bunny or weight lifting Buff Bear - both of which are from the creative minds of Aardvark - and I don't even need to go to a sports centre, although a Yoga Studio - like the one created as a backdrop by Synnergy.Tavis - might be an interesting idea to get me more supple.

A Dark Little Angel

Life has been shaky since I lost my furbaby on Sunday... I've been distracted and confused and unwilling to do much of anything besides sit with one of her toys and watch the same sort of silly movies and tv together that we always watched... I know now though that I need to start trying to get back some semblance of normality not just for me but for my hubby and kitten... 
I dug deep, searching through my mind to find out if the characters in me want to come out to play again... Seems like there is always a dark little spirit wanting to get out to experience the light... 

The magic definitely helps me to free my mind a little, and that's definitely something that my mind needs right now. As I've always said, blogging is definitely a form of therapy for me, and creating a look that is kinda magical but also a look of the day has become healing... My mind drifted and I smiled and things started to feel better... 
I may be a monster, I am definitely not an angel, though perhaps I could be a twisted combination of the both. Something magical, something monstrous and something that truly makes me smile... This outfit is one of those things for me too, the angellic demon, draped in pearls, dressed in black and looking cute...

Magic of the First Flutters of Snow

Whilst out in the garden raking up the falling leaves, I discovered a new hole in the ground that wasn't there the day previous... It might have come up because of the ground works they are doing around our house lately, but it seemed pretty fresh, and I noticed something poking out of the dirt... 

When I looked more closely, there was an old looking book poking out of the ground... My curiosity got the better of me, I abandoned the piles of leaves - which are a cute release from kotte at Kustom9 - and sat with this book that appeared to be something of a Grimoire - from Tardfish - that once I opened the cover started to swirl it's pages around me... 
The air started to cool, and flakes started to flutter through the sky, then I heard the giggling... Some of the logs that were laying in the grounds just happened to start moving, the Stumpy - from MishMish also at Kustom9 - Pals were ALIVE and dancing in the falling leaves and fluttering snowflakes...

Saturday Beach Parties!

It's SATURDAY!!! For many people that's a time to go out and enjoy parties or dancing or shopping or other fun stuff, but for me Saturday is still a working day of the week... LUCKILY I have Rudh to go out and do the partying for me. 
This weekend she decided it was time to start thinking about beach parties, she went exploring and found a place where the staff are all VERY deliciously helpful... The staff at Amagansett were delicious, and made excellent cocktails hehe... 

There was a very nice man at the beach bar serving cocktails of all different colours and flavours, and the bar was cute and perfectly beachy. It got Rudh in the mood for some Saturday night cocktails and dancing. 
Luckily this little crazy chick was dressed in beachwear to impress... A new Candi Dress - from epoch at anyBody - in a brilliant shade of blue which she accessorised with some new Twisted Shadows make-up - created by Zombie Suicide for Skin Fair - and an adorably kitsch Pineapple Clutch - which is is a new group gift for Fetch VIP group members! - that is perfect for a night at a beach party!

"Lol at U"

I'm really feeling tired today but luckily, my awesome boss gave us the day off tomorrow which means that tomorrow I can sleep! Although, you know me, taking time out to blog something is like a relaxation for me... Today is no different! I found something cute that I had to share and it was so easy to set up a shot, I'm really happy... YAY easy pictures! 

I guess you might call it a look of the day, since I'm far too tired for it to be anything else LOL. 
This look started with the top - a newish release from epoch for the current round of N21 with some super cute designs, including this Lol at U version. 
Then because of the Lol at U idea I wanted something fun to go with it, that's where this adorable hat and hair combo from Doe came in. The Burr Bear hair is cute and fun and warm, although when I'm wearing this small of a top, just how warm is up for debate!?!

What's in this gift from Secret Santa?

One of the things that I always used to get into trouble for when I was a little kid at this time of year, was the way I'd sneak into my parents bedroom and feel all of my presents! I never really wanted to know what they were, but I liked to at least guess, and get more than a little excited! It's far too tempting, such a terrible temptation!
So when Rudh, snuck into the present store room at the family home, no matter how cute she was, she knew she was in trouble LOL... 

Looking like a deer caught in the headlights, I wonder who it was that came home!?! Though the sounds are coming from the... ROOF... Santa shouldn't be here yet!! Dammit, he's early!

I still see you!!

I'm at home in the UK... I didn't really think that I'd be getting much in the way of blogging done, in fact I even warned everyone that I'd be gone for the week, but actually whilst I am working I have a little time to sit down and share some of my blogging thoughts with everyone. I'm feeding my addiction whilst getting paid and still being able to chat to my mum across the room... IT'S GREAT!!
So today I'm being a little more of a big kid than normal, which frankly sounds kinda funny but it's the way being at home makes me feel... I'm also here with a warning to someone I'm very close to in SL...

Sharing Pie with Daddy

So yesterday was Thanksgiving. I saw so many people talking about the delicious things they were eating yesterday, and I had barely eaten anything - aside from Chinese take-out, which fills you up for a bit then you need MORE - so I snuck out of bed and headed down to the kitchen to see if there was anything left from the families Thanksgiving dinner... I'm gonna admit now that I was a little upset about the family Thanksgiving - I wasn't invited to the one my "newish" SL family had, so I felt a little unwanted - yet when I found the Pumpkin Pie in the fridge... Revenge was MINE! Just like this Pie!!! 

Since I started this post though, I've talked to my SL family. Things have been smoothed over, and when my Daddy appeared in the kitchen doorway, late that night I even made sure there was an extra fork available for him to share the Pie! A peace offering if you will... All is forgiven, I love you and I'm sorry I let my imagination get the better of me. I should have come to talk to you rather than let things go from bad to worse in my mind, when you never had any idea that it would cause this kind of feeling in me. 
The pie of course is pumpkin - a Thanksgiving staple apparently - made lovingly in the Lost Junction Bakery. The Whipped Cream should have gone on the pie, but I think Daddy had other ideas - and now the cream is all for him - thanks to a pose which is called "Whipped Again" by Image Essentials and that technically comes with Sundaes unless you're feeling more like eating pie perhaps?

Princess Gang of the Apocalypse

I seem to go from one extreme to the other when it comes to blogging... One day I'm a cute lil' Country girl collecting a pumpkin for a pie, the next I'm a post apocalyptic member of a Princess Gang! In case you didn't realise, that's me today by the way LOL... 
This little princess has had to start wearing her tiara around her neck as a necklace, and pick up a gun since the apocalypse has hit her little kingdom... 

What's possibly worse is that she's run out of hair dye!?! LOL... 
There's a war zone out there, and this little princess is caught up in the resistance that is trying to stop it. She's been in the war, and is now using shards of glass - that she keeps in her teeth to cut her way through things and if the bullets run out then glass it will be!!

I took this picture when I was wandering around at the Forgotten, Rudh was dressed as a Freddie tribute, with her own interesting twist... For example, instead of blades for his gloves, she's taking a leaf out of Edward Scissorhands book and using scissors... Yet she's still managed to damage herself by cutting too close - thanks to a Doe Brains Hairstyle!

Punks in Hell

For some reason I felt like doing something a little darker, a little more sinister today... I think that with Halloween drawing so close, there is going to be a lot more darkness on my blog over the next few weeks, after all it is the season that I've been waiting for... 
Today I'm punked out... Rocker chick style... With a few spiky metallic embellishments for good luck, and I'm a train ride to a very warm but welcoming place... 

I needed a feisty outfit to go with this amazingly feisty looking hair from adoness, which has been released for Hair Fair 2018. So that you know, Hair Fair 2018 is open now and it runs until October 7th - with 4 sims full of hairy stores, and lots of donations being made to benefit the Wigs for Kids charity!

Morning, it's Time for Bed!

Today is one of those days... The kinda day you feel like hiding and not coming out, yet you force yourself to keep going no matter what. Nothing seems to be going right, I feel like I'm coming down with my second cold of the season ALREADY and I just want to sleep more than anything else. Yet I'm trying to be good, I'm trying to keep moving and hoping that there is a spark somewhere that livens things up?!

She's been out partying to try and liven things up, and apparently is having to do the walk of shame down a seedy hotel corridor as the cleaning staff start their morning rounds.

Skater Girl

There has been a lot of those full of bullshit moments leaving very large cowpat turds all over my SL at the moment, and being honest it's a reason why I'm finding it so hard to find any kind of mojo when it comes to blogging... Yet sometimes, if I push myself then things do start to work... Slowly... 
Right now I want to try to act like a bit of a badass, but I'm feeling too shy to do that... Maybe later, so now I'm gonna be a cute "badass" hehe... 

When I was a teenager I was in the skate boarding crowd at school. I liked the guys in the group and though I couldn't board I was definitely one of those girls that hung around them! So this is a little bit of a tribute to the boys that I went to school with...

Mmmmm Donuts

You may have guessed by now that I have a bit of a penchant for Pizza... I LOVE Pizza, it's one of my favourite kinds of naughties and I'd eat it every day if I could lol, but Pizza is a main course, what about Dessert?! Some people reach for ice cream, others chocolate, fruit is popular too but for me it's CAKE! I love cake, and in fact there is one type of cake I love more than others... DOUGHNUTS - or Donuts for the Americanese people out there!

It's on the walls - thanks to a pose backdrop from astralia - bouquets and jewellery made of doughnuts, and even my thoughts are appearing as little doughnut words over my head - thanks to dust bunny... 
Though I will say it's a little evil all this sugary goodness, I've come over all pink... I even chose to wear a pink version of this adorable little Breezy Babydoll from epoch!! I chose to wear pink... What is wrong with me?! Must be all the sugary icing... Washing off the Weekend

The weekend is done and over, and I'm trying not to be too sad about it. I spent a lot of time taking some pretty pictures and trying to re-find my blogging mojo, which seems to have been lost as of late, I'm barely posting anything in comparison to what I did... Yet now it's time to start the week, and that means getting ready for work... A shower to wash the vibrant colours of the weekend off?! 

I know it seems weird taking a shower in a bathing suit, but sometimes when you're making art and you get a bit messy it's easier to just step into the shower without getting naked and then take it off later LOL... Least that's my story that I'm sticking too... PLUS can you not see that bathing suit I'm wearing... It's adorable!!
The bathing suit is a release from epoch which comes in a whole heap of colours and patterns. The plain white was the one that I chose since my body was so many different colours, but it's such a sexy suit! The bright painted look is actually a release from Mad' called Fluid Face + Body. I saw this and was like I LOVE IT, looks like someone had an interesting painting lesson?! 
Still, time to go wash the weekend off... Work and Duty Calls!!!

Did you just touch my Butt?

While the cute girl was minding her own business and playing some video games at the arcade, she felt something and turned around with a look of shock on her face... "Did you just pinch my butt?"

This has to be one of my favourite outfits in recent months. I don't know why, it's simple and casual but there's just something about it that's SO CUTE! 
She's All About That Bass - in a pose from NANTRA - but it's the outfit that makes her "base" look so adorable. The shorts are one of my favourite recent purchases, from miss chelsea at the new round of N21, she added a little bit of the cute girl flair to the outfit in the form of this Party Pullover with a Pizza design from epoch...

To Escape The Lovefest?!

Jumping through portals had often lead our heroine on some strange and wondrous adventures, but nothing could prepare her for her unexpected visit to the mysterious land of Lovefest Grunt. 
At first this pretty landscape lured her in, with it's sparkling starscape and it's pink and turquoise mountains, but it wasn't long until she had a sudden change of heart! Never having cared for Aliens - in fact I really have a terrible phobia of them and have convinced myself the friends in the picture are monsters NOT alien in anyway - she needed an escape back to her own reality. Finding the nearest parked vehicle - which strangely reminded her of something else, and therefore put a naughty smile on her face - she jumped on and held on tight, as she tried to find the starter button... 

OK OK once again my mind got carried away with me... I love when a picture comes to life and my imagination can wander to weird places... 
What started out as a picture that was to share some of my new stuff, like the adorable bikini and sarong I'm wearing from epoch - which I've had to include the ad artwork for below, since it's not as clear as I wanted it to be in my photo - and a gift of a VERY large phallic toy from my "momma" - LOL - became a fantasy tale in my head... 
OK the large Phallic toy is something you can't miss, I don't need to point it out but it was a gift from my MC sister Loulou - who is dating my Daddy Chopper, hence "momma" and yes I KNOW it's complicated LOL - its'an Astralia "Kinky Rodeo Game" from the current round of ROMP, and it's fast becoming my new favourite toy!! I love when people buy me sexy toys LOL!!! 
The little monsters - Cthulhu to be precise - are a new gacha release from 1313 Mockingbird Lane for the soon to open Lovefest. This is an event based on H.P. Lovecraft's writings, so expect a lot of Cthulhu related goodies... Now I'm not too familiar with his works, BUT I can safely say although the stories are in the Sci-Fi genre, Cthulhu is NOT regarded as an alien but actually is a god-like entity... PHEW I'm safe, no aliens for me!!! 
Anyway, wrapping up now, as I said the ad artwork for the bikini and sarong is below, but I have a happy face today, I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!!

Time to Call Home

I can't actually believe it but it's been a week now since my parents left... Where the heck does the time go, it seems to have flown past! I guess it's time for me to make my weekly call home - check in to make sure everyone is OK and so that they can know I'm fine too... 
When Rudh calls home, that's where things get a little more complicated... 

As a Living Dead Girl, she's kinda lucky! She's able to enjoy both forms of "life" - the living and the afterlife hehe - but the phone service to connect a call to her undead family sucks! 
She's Daddy Little Monster... She's just gonna be more than Daddy's Little Monster if she doesn't call home...

Waiting for Sharks

GUESS WHO IS BACKKKKK??? That's right ME!!! I've been away for a few days in RL while my lovely parents came to visit me in Holland, and Rudh has had a bit of a mini break... She went to swim with the sharks, for a little bit of a late Shark Week Adventure!! 

In case you didn't realise it I actually love sharks... Not as much as Mermaids, and no where near as much as other things but I can't help it, it's something on my bucket list... I'm gonna swim with them one day! For now though I'll have to settle for watching them in SL, watching them from The Shark Bay Hut at WHOLE WHEAT, with my cute little dressed for the part Jian Pointer!
