Closing Away the Midnight Order!

Today is the 20th of August, WHERE DID AUGUST GO? We're nearly done, it's nearly over and there is SO MUCH that has happened I feel like my head is spinning a little bit... Today is also the day that the Midnight Order closes it's doors on this visit, and so it's time to start locking the dark little monsters away before they can continue to wreak havoc in Second Life... 

The team is slowly rounding them up, locking them in their specially designed cells and discussing the possibilities of them coming out to play in a few months for Halloween... Can you believe that it's ALMOST Halloween season?! 
Lots of these monsters are being "housed" in the LAB FIK - a backdrop from Paleto - where they can be constantly monitored... The guards are protected by the latest in Tubed Gas Mask Technology - thanks to the ERG release for Midnight Order - as if the locks fail, the area will be filled with some very strong knock-out gasses. Failing that, each staff member carries their own Waffle "Toothpick" knife for added safety... If they lose it, that's their problem, all staff are issued with these daggers! 
We do have one other way that the duards can communicate with the central offices... Each guard is provided with a Mood Board - from Boutique #187, available now at Ouh LaLa until September 18th - so they can communicate through the cameras in the eventuality that communications go down!!

Enchanting Little Mushrooms

Today has been crap but tomorrow is my day off so I'll be able to take things a little easier for a change. I'm going to spend the day relaxing doing not a lot and reading a lot more... I don't want to think about anything, I just want to turn my brain off and not have to deal with people or things... A fantasy world is the place I need to be...

A lot more Pride, a lot less Prejudice!

Love is love and that's all that matters, or at least it should be... With everything going on in the world right now, from wars that are on going or scarily close to starting, and wannabe kings holding parades that resemble celebrations held for monarchs of distant lands, and even closer to home with people striking for more money and causing masses of chaos for everyone else... It feels so much more important to celebrate love for those who have always faced stigmatism, because we should all be allowed to love, and it might make the world a better place... 

Pride in Amsterdam comes a little later in the year but right now other places are celebrating Pride... I'm always willing to celebrate love, and I KNOW that it's easier said than some people agree to but I want to send huge hugs to everyone... I guess these days I'd consider myself an Ally more than any other letter in the LGBTQ+ range, testing the water at university and my early 20s doesn't really count but I do firmly believe that love is love. It shouldn't be up to any one person to say who another can or cannot love - unless there is a lack of consent or confusion from an involved party and illegal things are happening of course... Like the sign says, I can't believe we're still protesting this shit... It's 2025, let people be who they want, let people live as they want... 
Pride at Home is happening, as are many other Pride events, right now and I want to take a moment to reach out. The world needs more Pride, less Prejudice, I mean isn't there enough crazy shit going on in the world that people also want to control who others love too?!

Geometrics and Bubbles!

My last post was a ittle morose and I am sorry to anyone that I may have brought down with my unhappy ramblings... Today I was boosted from my feelings of meh by a chance coversation caused by my rambling space and therefore not only did I realise that my therapeutic ramblings help me, they do in fact provide entertainment to others a little bit too... It deftinitely made me feel better and made me feel like today I needed to do something random, sparkly and crazed... 

I dunno why the most random of pictures always makes me feel the happiest, and most alive... I wanted bright and colourful, I wanted something neon and colourful, I wanted colours... I filled my screen with Geometric Light Tiles - a release that has come from the great minds at MadPea, and is still available until November 24th at LEVEL - and brightness that made me feel like I was exploring a magical place like Oz... Maybe it's due to my social media being filled with Wicked stuff, but today was all about the green... Sunnies Behaving Badly!

A Happy Sunny, Sunday, the first of July... WHAT THE HECK, HOW CAN IT ALREADY BE JULY?! This month will be brilliant, I have to get some more training to be able to run the store on my own for the whole of August, and at the end of the month HellBone and I will be taking a short vacation to go home and see my family in the UK - it's a break that is very much needed... 
I will always be the first to admit that I HATE Summer. It's the season I could live without, since I really dislike the heat. I will admit however that I love the brilliantly bright colours of Summer, the sunshine on the flowers and the fact that Ice Lollies are a must in this heat... 

One of my favourite things come out of summer... Sunflowers are summer flowers and they match the season very well with their bright colour and smily sunshiney faces, and so of course I can never miss the opportunity to visit a Sunflower Farm... 
As with a lot of places in my world, there are fairies on this farm... These fairies are best friends with all of the Sunnys the Happy Flowers- the Sunny Happy Flowers that are both with and without the sungless are from Aardvark for this weekend's sales events - that live in the fields and are supposed to put on a good example for the new little sunflowers that are brought in by hand - from Junk Food - to join the family...

Playing with her Dolls

I've been working again today, it's been SO busy and although I LOVE working for a small business like the family owned cheese shop that I work in but sometimes working for someone else feels so much like you're a puppet in someone else's game plan... I LOVE my job but I'm still working for a muti-millionaire family earning big bucks selling cheese... I'm just one of their littl retail puppets on some dangling strings... 
So today, for my 31 days of Halloween looks, I'm a cute little rag doll, playing with my own dollies in the confines of my sewing room... Something akin to a certain doll named Sally... 

It's a corridor in the Insomnia House - backdrop collection from MINIMAL - Ragdoll Rudh is a doll that loves to play with dolls, only the dolls that she plays with are much more of the voodoo variety... She loves her tiny little Dead Dolls  - from Tardfish at LEVEL - that swing from her finger tips, and her bigger dollies all get murdered in horrible ways... She looks like a little rag doll, her adorable Patchwork markings - from Sweet Thing - and the Strange and Unusual Bow in her hair - from Exile with the hairstyle worn - are all things that are easily mendable on her sewing machine.

Out Driving in Hollywood

I think I want to escape... I want to run away somewhere that's not home, where the people aren't annoying customers or crazy builders... Both of these types of people are annoying me right now, and I can't escape them, I go to work they are there, I come home and they are here lol... I WANT TO ESCAPE! I might run away on an adventure... 

Maybe I'll go to the woods, maybe I'll go to the beach, ooooh or maybe I'll go somewhere the lights glitter and the people are fabulous... A "Walk" in the Park

A day at home, a chance to relax after a super busy weekend at work... It's always a lovely, happy, relaxed feeling of being able to have a day to just unwind, although in typical fashion I ended up waking up far too early. Although, being awake so early means that I have more of a chance to get things done... I've done some dishes and laundry, I've taken a shower and even had a chance to get some dusting done, I might if I'm very good even find the time to run the vacuum through the house. 
First, however, I need to get some important groceries, so it's time for a trip to the shops... 

Killing two birds with one stone, I've decided to take the dogs for a walk as I head to the shops. I grabbed my jacket, tied my skates and said to the pack of Great Dane puppies - from JIAN - that were chilling in my garden "Let's Roll" - a pose from a set by Secret Poses - to the dog park. Hairy Hare Pirates!

Hair Fair 2022 has started, in fact it's been open for a while now, and there are lots of hairy reasons to pop in for a visit. Hair Fair is a very long standing event in SL now, every year they raise money and awareness for a charity that provides support and happiness for children in need... Wigs for Kids is a charity that creates wigs for children who have lost their hair through illness, providing these kids with a boost of confidence and happiness, something that is very much needed in the world...
This year however, there are also PIRATES... The Hare Fair Hares have become a pirate crew and they are on land in search of hairy treasures... 

Hair Fair this year seems to have been met with mixed reactions from the SL shopping community, but one thing remains the same. There is something for everyone, to meet any budget - be it freebie gifts, exclusive releases from a variety of different designers and even the bandanas, which in years gone by were brilliant for shopping in a laggy, chaotic place. Some of the bigger SL hair designers were not present, but that doesn't matter, there are lots of new designers to find showing off their wares, and I know that I managed to find 4 or 5 styles that I love! 
Whilst there though I also fell in love with the cutest pirate crew, made up exclusively of the Hair Fair Hares, that is until I got myself into the crew, and became the new captain... They loved my hair, which I'd just had done at the Exile booth - who made 25% donation to the cause from any of the purchase sales made, Exile can be found in the Foils Sim of the event.

Being a little Punk

 LAZY WEEKEND!!! The weather here is yucky, so I'm doing the smart thing and staying indoors, but I'm also finding myself wondering how it can feel more like February than May weather right now... I'm also more than a little sleepy and I cannot work out why... It's a lot of wondering what is going on LOL... Rudh decided that while I was mulling all of that over she'd pop out and have a peaceful smoke break in the hallway... Anything to get away from my mind!

Goddess of the Catacombs

The halls of the dark maze hold many hidden secrets... There's dangers down there in the corridors of the darkness. Taking a wrong turn could lead you into the lair of a very ancient goddess... Another in the family of beautiful goddesses we've met... Yet this one screams of Death, she's Death's sister! A dark mistress, a collector of skulls... 

The catacombs at the Gators MC are dark and dingy places... The water smells like death, and it moves slimily along the creek... Her dress decorated with the skulls she's collected from the catacombs... A dress made by Curemore and styled to look like Bathory's Gown is one of my new favourite wardrobe pieces...

Ready for Cyber Punk

Tomorrow is the opening of a big event, the Cyper Punk Fair! So I decided that today was a great day to get into the spirit of celebration, and go all cyber barbie. It's something that I don't tend to do all that often, and the rainbow colours felt like a lot of fun, but don't be expecting this combination all that often please LOL... 

Since the event starts tomorrow, you'll have to wait for the LM but the crazy little cyber punk chick that it brought out of me is on her way to grab some pretty stuff and bargains... A New Queen of Wonderland!

Today I'm blogging a little early, as I'm heading off into a wonderland of live music that I'm VERY excited about later - it's Five Finger Death Punch if you're wondering ladies and gentlemen - but I couldn't leave without allowing Rudh the chance to slip off into her own little Wonderland! By her own, I kinda mean she's going to be doing a take over of someone else's LOL... Alice's in fact, because what Wonderland would she want other than the REAL wonderland. 
She's about to invade one of the Mad Hatter's Tea Parties in the Storybook Forest, and in true Rudh style, she's going to look fabulous whilst doing so! 

Aside from the fact that she has a thing for looking fab, this cannot all be put down to Rudh... The amazing Queen of Hearts outfit is actually from the 1313 Mockingbird Lane Epiphany gacha collection, and everything that she's wearing - shoes from Breathe, and wig from Exile not included - come from this collection. Even the amazing Flamingo Croquet Mallet is an exclusive for the Epiphany - the kind you will get for trading 25 points for! 
One last thing to mention, before she sits down and starts scoffing cake is I felt it might be a good idea to include a little close up... The tiara for the collection is adorned with hearts and playing cards, BUT more than that, she has this sweet little Cheeky Word - a current group gift from FIKA by the way - carved into her lip, so EVERYONE has no doubt as to who she is!!! There's a Nightmare in Christmas Land

I know that this season seems to be all sparkles and twinkles and prettiness but there is one side of the season that I am leaving out and it's a travesty... I've left it out until now and I feel like a bad little Living Dead Doll because I've not yet embraced my Nightmare Before Christmas!!! Well, until today that is... I was randomly searching for Christmassy Sims to use as backdrops and stumbled upon a Nightmare-ish beauty, so I decided to see if the Pumpkin King in his part time job as Santa had a little something for me... 

The MoD's Realm of Madness has had a Nightmare Before Christmas style makeover, complete with tree eating snakes and blood thirsty Snowmen! 
I wandered around this depraved landscape and eventually found Jack, who said I'd been a good girl and gave me some presents to take home and put under my Christmas Tree! These are adorable little presents, wrapped in coffin boxes from Star Sugar! 
While on the subject of being a good girl though I have to make a little confession... I've actually been a very bad girl... I almost forgot about Necrosis this month, and it would be terrible since there's some amazing goodies available and you won't wanna miss it! There are some amazing dark pretties that you won't want to miss, lots of dark little macabre Christmas goodies, and then there's amazing pretties like this adorable Feronia Dress from Strange One!

The last of the Spring Magic...

It's the weekend, well it's Friday at least, and although I don't have to work my SL job this weekend I'd agreed that I would cover a few hours working in the cheese shop tomorrow. I'm far too nice sometimes, I swear?! When will I learn to say no?! 
Still because it's Friday and I feel happy, it's a fairytale time! No I won't be launching into a made up fairytale today but I will be sharing with you the newest in my fairy family... This one is a flower fairy with a naughty little look that makes me smile! 

Don't faint, she's wearing pink, but she's a spring fae... Completing the last of her work before the Summer fae come in and take over at the Lost Unicorn! I also really loved the colours in this picture, so maybe pink is something I'm learning to love... Least it's not purple! 
I want to tell you all about this adorable outfit, it's going to be a look of the day again, kinda, but where to start! 
Let's start with the bodysuit, and work up from there hehe... The bodysuit is one I grabbed in a Saturday Sale gone by I think?! It's a Galaxias Cinched Bodysuit from CURELESS, and YES I chose to wear it in a neon pink colour even though it comes with a huge collection of different options. Moving up a little, I have some of the most gorgeous fairy wings that I've found in a long time in SL, these gorgeous Shimmer Fairy Wings from Lovely Alien, they give me that real pretty Fae touch. The addition of a cute pair of Daisy Glasses from Fetch, and a gorgeous Apis Pendant - from FIKA - complete with honey and a bee finished off the look so I could work my magic in the forest before the Summer Fairies took over. 
Now the necklace is adorable, but its kinda small in the main picture, so I'm being good and adding a close up just to show off those little details more clearly!

OK OK Grand Adventure is on hold... Right now I seem to be heading into the first mammoth pile of drama for the new year. There's some bubbling under the surface, and I'm wondering how long it will take to boil over! 
I've decided that in line with the new year, and the decisions I made, I'm not gonna be letting that happen... Right now I'm already starting with the BYE, Fuck Off feeling... 

The plans for a grand adventure will just have to wait a little, while I deal with things... The bad stuff can get on the bus, and fuck off... The stop is at Backdrop City, and it's the start of the road for those that need to hit it... 
A picture with a message like this needed a feisty outfit, and the most feisty outfit that I've been in love with has been this Zip Tube Top and Trousers from villena. I LOVE the tartan print pants, love love love them! A riders jacket slung over my shoulder, and a message on my hand, so when I say "talk to the hand", my hand will be talking back...

I still see you!!

I'm at home in the UK... I didn't really think that I'd be getting much in the way of blogging done, in fact I even warned everyone that I'd be gone for the week, but actually whilst I am working I have a little time to sit down and share some of my blogging thoughts with everyone. I'm feeding my addiction whilst getting paid and still being able to chat to my mum across the room... IT'S GREAT!!
So today I'm being a little more of a big kid than normal, which frankly sounds kinda funny but it's the way being at home makes me feel... I'm also here with a warning to someone I'm very close to in SL... 

That warning is, DADDY I MAY NOT BE THERE IN PERSON BUT I'M WATCHING YOU lol... 
I'm Daddy's Little Monster, mostly due to... Well OK, due to the fact that Chopper is my Daddy and he trained me well. Superhero Kicks Practice

Looks can be deceiving. Sometimes something that is totally pure and innocent is anything but, and that which looks naughty is actually meant for a different purpose entirely. 
Today's picture is a prime example of that... Some may see a girl pole dancing, my totally innocent mind - don't laugh the game on Facebook said it was true! - sees a superhero using a handy pole to practice her slow-mo, air kicking moves!!!

OK OK so she does look a little bit like she's pole dancing... Maybe she is LOL... But I'm gonna tell people she's practising her superhero flying kicks and there's nothing you can to to say otherwise LOL... You can say it but I won't be listening... LALALA...

Happy Halloween!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! 
My favourite day of the year is here, and I'm happy as a kid in a candy store - not that Trick or Treating happens here but YAY it's finally Halloween!
Today is a day for horror, spooks and... Candy?! So before the horrible stuff begins, I'm going to go for a little walk to collect some of the sweet stuff... 

I often feel bad that Halloween is less of a big deal in Europe than it is in America, we don't get to do all the Trick or Treating stuff, BUT luckily for me Rudh can enjoy it for me in Second Life!
Dressed like a Vampiress - thanks to a dress from RIOT and all her dark and devious batty accessories - she ended up needing a shopping cart for all of the Junk Food she was able to collect. 
While she was out on Trick or Treat Lane though she had to stop and take in some of the pretty décor, A cute little lamp over the door of this house for example, it's a Witch Lamp available from Candle & Cauldron, or the BOO lights in the window - from Raindale - and even the adorable door mat - a PentaMoon Rug from Squishy Fluff - all of which can be grabbed on Trick or Treat Lane until November 2nd!!
