Raise Hell Baby!

I've been in doubts whether to talk about this but I'm feeling emotional since seeing Ozzy Osbourne, and Black Sabbath's final concert on TV the other day. It's all over social media if you haven't seen it and it looks like the best concert ever... I wish I'd been able to be there... It looked like such a happy event, even though there was the saddest of undertones that it was the last ever time we will see Ozzy perform... 
It's woken up the darkness in me... The Prince of Darkness may be retiring but his legacy will forever live on... 

The dark little fallen angel in me had a tear in her eye on waking today and seeing a the amazing clips all over the internet... Seeing the Prince of Darkness on his elaborate throne, he seemed to be loving life although wishing he could jump around and rule the stage like he once had... 
I'm dressed and ready for a litte fun now that I've woken from my slumber, I've primped my wings, pulled on a party hat and grabbed a flask full of something naughty... Now that the Prince of Darkness has retired I think it'stime we raise a little hell...

Death's Guiding Light

I am currently reading a book that seems to be affecting my moods, and although I'm loving it, Sinner's Sideshow is definitely a place for the dark, kinky and demonic... It's definitely my happy place at the moment, and you may well have realised by now that the darker and more fantasy based I get, the happier I tend to be, so my book is kinda sorta almost reflected in my blog today... I mean Death is a character, NOTHING like I've made death look but ya know... he was on my mind lol... 

My interpretation of Death is one totally removed from the Four Horsemen of the book I'm reading - which by the way is a smut filled story called Carnival Creeps by Aiden Pierce, and is very good but I really suggest you read the Circus Creeps before you try this one or you will get very lost - as in this story he is a big chiselled and muscular warrior ManDragon, but one that is having a relationship with Famine... Whilst my version of Death is much more feminine, magical and lead by thie light that guides her... 
She is bound and chained as she stalks through the darkness, searching for lost souls that are drawn to her like a Moth and Flame - the candle she is carrying is a Moth and Flame from Boutique #187, available until June 11th at SABBATH by the way - so she can reap their souls with her magical Reaper Scythe...

Twenty Thousand Leagues

What happens on a day like today when my mind is allowed to wander but I can't seem to find myself creating another weird and wonderful fae creation... I got a major case of being stuck today... I was in a rut, couldn't think what I wanted to do and for the life of me things were going no where... I WAS CONFUSED... Then I had a momentary brain fart, remembered that I'm in the blogger team for the epic, somewhat steampunkish themed Engine Room and TADAAAAAA my mind went into overdrive... 
Dreams of travelling with and working alongside some of the most interesting fantasy names in literary history, I didn't think it would ever happen... I loved studying his achievements, but when I was offered a trip Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, to the office of one Captain Nemo... I jumped at the chance... 

It's a brilliant sci-fi novel by the great Jules Verne, and is a great adventure that takes place on board the Nautilus Submarine of Captain Nemo. They discover all kinds of crazy things and even though it's a bit science fiction for my normal tastes, it's a story that should never be missed. 
So now that I'm able to check around Nemo's Study - which happens to be a backdrop from LORE for the Engine Room - there is so much to see... He's using a Mind's Analizer to read his rat's mind, he's got some weird Neoflora - from Blue Blood - mechanical flower things growing in an old Mermaid Tank - from Dirty Rat - and everything seems to be electrified... 
I'd had to make sure I fit into his weird little steampunk world... Luckily, I'd had the chance to shop at the Engine Room before I made my way under the sea...

The Tickles of a Ghostmage

The doors have opened, and the Midnight Order is here to release their magic onto the SL world for just a little while. There has been a sudden surge in magic since the doors have opened... Anyone with even the slightest hint of magical aura is already aware of it's presence. It's not just the living spirits that are able to enjoy the feeling, the dead are riding and on their way too...

That magic wakes the dead with gently tickling of some Ghostmage Hands - available from Aii at the round of Midnight Order that runs from today until February 20th - over their bare skin. Geometrics and Bubbles!

My last post was a ittle morose and I am sorry to anyone that I may have brought down with my unhappy ramblings... Today I was boosted from my feelings of meh by a chance coversation caused by my rambling space and therefore not only did I realise that my therapeutic ramblings help me, they do in fact provide entertainment to others a little bit too... It deftinitely made me feel better and made me feel like today I needed to do something random, sparkly and crazed... 

I dunno why the most random of pictures always makes me feel the happiest, and most alive... I wanted bright and colourful, I wanted something neon and colourful, I wanted colours... I filled my screen with Geometric Light Tiles - a release that has come from the great minds at MadPea, and is still available until November 24th at LEVEL - and brightness that made me feel like I was exploring a magical place like Oz... Maybe it's due to my social media being filled with Wicked stuff, but today was all about the green... A Pack of Tired

It's hard to believe that it is now July... WHERE HAS THE YEAR GONE ALREADY?! We've entered what we call the slippery slope to Christmas, the day after my Sister's Birthday has ALWAYS been the start of that... 
I don't really know how to feel about things, I'm worn out and cannot wait till I get to go home to the UK in August, but first I have to get through July and the time that my boss will be away and I have to take the lead... I'm already tired, how will I get through this... 

I'm doing everything that I can to help keep myself on track... I'm going through the motions... Working, cooking, laundry and keeping up with the chores I have to do. One thing that I do miss is being able to switch off and take my dog for a long walk... I miss her at moments when I don't expect it, and it seems to happen more when I'm tired and feeling drained... I feel like I keep seeing the ghost of my girl walking through the house. 
I needed to take my mind off it, and although I'm not ready to get a new dog in RL, I AM more than willing to adopt a pack's worth in SL... Today as I was out on an adventure, I met and brought home an adorable pack of Jack Russells - from Jian, who happens to be an exciting new sponsor for me YAY! 
As if I wasn't tired enough, now I have a pack of boystrous little scamps to look after... I'll be ok though, one day at a time whilst I remain pretty, scary and tired!

Night Rider

Do you ever have that feeling that you never know what you are going to blog until you're actually about to take a picture and things have just miraculously seemed to fall into place... It can be put together because of anything, a backdrop or a prop, an outfit or a pose. Today it was a mixture of all of these things... A little urban, a little dark, a little gorgeous... 

A little bit futuristic, a little bit darkly urban but a lot of a sexy outfit seemed to pull this picture together today and I guess in that it could be considered a look-of-the-day... I don't often get overly excited by an outfit but this outfit makes me super happy and I'll be wearing it a while I'm sure... 
It's getting close to Midnight - a backdrop from Paleto - and I was reliving days gone by, back when I was a member of the Gators MC and rode around on the back of a super fast mean machine... I pulled my bike - which is actually part of a pose set from FOXCITY - out of the storage lock-up and waited on the street for the bad boys to come around. This little backstreet is reminiscent of the old streets of London, where you'd find bright red post boxes and phone boxes on every corner - like the ones from MadPea in the City Streets Decor Set, available seperately or as a set in PG and adult versions at The Fifty - that nowdays have been vandalized or have gone for good...

Home Again!

I'm back home from my little trip to the UK... What a wonderful time that I had... I spent some lovely time with family, watched the family of foxes that have moved into my parents back garden and I even had the night of my life watching the concert of my first crushes, Take That! It's been busy and eventful, but perfectly wonderful and although not relaxing, I felt the change of scenery was good for me... 
Now though, I am back and it's time to make sure that I get all of the things done... It's May, and this month MAY get a little crazy... 

As I get home, I've got my case and my kitten in her brand new pink bag -  we'd travelled out with the old green one, but the pink matched my luggage better - and because I'd been shopping with mum I accidentally may have bought too much and therefore had to carry my Sleepy Bear - from Sakura - in my hand... 
Even after a day of travelling, I still looked adorable in my outfit with my hair tied in pigtails - a gorgeous style from Yomi (yes Yomi is back and I'm so excited as I've missed their hair) at SABBATH until May 11th - but all I wanted to do was get my post from the mail box and sneak into my home to shower and sleep...

The Elementemporia Tome and the Crystal Portal

I'm not sure if it's just my perception of things but while I've been digging through the fun stuff that has come from the Engine Room this month, I've kinda noticed that there is a lot less steampunk and a lot more magical fantasy... Like I said, maybe it's just me but my brain is going into magical overdrive and I LOVE it... I will never complain, especially when you can take something in one theme and make it another... 
That's what happened today, the steampunk met the magic and wonderous things started to happen... 

Even the cyborgs have magicians, there are magical forces at work in the stratosphere and up within the New Horizons Space platform - which is part of the backdrop from The Bearded Guy - this robotic demon bears the mask of Pride's Ego - thanks to the CRYPTID Sin VII Masks from the Engine Room - while her body shines under the polished gold of her ELECTRA Body - a release from JANGKA, also at The Engine Room - and she surveys the stars through her Charon Coin Glasses - from Violetility at SABBATH until April 11th.
With the help of the Crystal Portal, that she wears on her back to keep it safe and protected - from RSStore - and the magical Elementemporia Tome - a book by Artemisia - the summoning process to bring in more starlight minions has begun, they will be born into the Experiment Tanks - by Oblivis - and they will stay there until they grow big and strong enough to light up the night...

Chains of Hell

I'm hiding in the darkness still, today has been a bit of a nightmare due to a bed situation and I'm NOT happy that I won't be getting to curl up in my brand new fancy bed... I'm not happy, I'm trying to keep my cool, and not drag people down to Hell for being both useless and patronising. I was so close to dragging them down to Hell and letting the demons have some fun... 

You can tell that I'm in a more than feisty mood, I'm feeling angry and want to punish someone for letting me down and disappointing me... 
I've stormed into the real world, leaving the door to hell somewhat ajar, dragging some of the chains of capitivity through with me. They rattle in an "Unchained Melody" - a pose set from piXit, available at the current round of Sabbath - a noise so scary that it will haunt those she's hunting...

The Mask of the Fae

The festive season is upon us, we are heading rapidly on a slippery slope downhill towards the most colourful, wonderful, sparkly time of the year and I want to make sure that I get right into the swing of it... It's alreday the third day of advent, the magic has been sparkling in the air and there are some very special fae folk working for the big man in red that are decorating the world with rainbow glitter... 

Today one of the little forest fae was spotted in the woods watching the snowflakes fall, foating on the breeze between the trees in the narnia like forest glade... 
Her wand in hand as she's crafting the flakes that will eventually paint the entire world white... At this time of year, it's customary for the fae to hide their faces in masks - like the one from Boutique #187 at the current round of SABBATH until December 11th - this keeps their identities hidden from the Krampus as he staks through the woods, for fear he mistakes them for bad little children...
