The magic seems to be fading, and the Midsummer Enchantment is drifting to a slow close - not that I'm unhappy about it, it just means we're one step closer to Halloween lol - but as the magic of the summer begins to fade we have to start looking elsewhere for our magic... While walking around, exploring a little, Rudh came across one of the most magical things... A Fairy Circle... You could see the magic sparkling within, and it was just perfect timing... Magic is something that she needs right now... She stepped into the Magical Fairy Circle - a creation by Raindale at this year's Midsummer Enchantment, which actually I should tell you closes it's doors tomorrow so DON'T MISS OUT!! - and sat down on a large wooden stump, kicking off my gorgeous, but not so walking through the woods friendly, Lyndis Booties - from Wicca's Originals - to rest my poor feet... It happened a few moments later, I fell into a sleep surrounded by the scent of cotton candy and when I woke after what seemed like an eternity - but could really have just been moments - a pair of the prettiest, daintiest fairy shoes... Like something from a fairytale, princess shoes that are made for dancing - the Viki "Tremane" Shoes, I should add hehe... One more thing I want to add, aside from the story I'm sharing is a little close-up... You can see hints at my rings but you really need to see these gorgeous Velika Rituals "Eternal Mist" Rings, not to forget my Dark Passions "Lunar Tear" Nails too!!! Hence, a close-up was needed...

At certain times we all need a little magic in our lives. Something to pep us up when we're feeling down, or to help us feel a little more confident... I've never gotten so far as to dabble too much into magic, but it's something that's always been something that impressed me... From the silly magic tricks of old school magicians at kids parties, to something more meaningful like tarot readings and the power of crystals I've always been intrigued, I've lived a life filled with reading fairytales, and I love nothing more than that feeling of magic swirling around... At the Magic Shop in the Ministry of Darkness, I decided that it was time to harness my inner magic. It's the perfect time to unleash it, the world is full of a Midsummer Enchantment. She's trying to unfreeze Devlin's Iced Heart - a Boutique 187 item - and the magic slowly started to swirl around the room... It's the magic of the Midsummer's Enchantment that's aiding a normally non-magical being like myself to do some amazing things... Of course, looking the part is also important, and I think this dress is one of my new favourites! This dress is a new release from Oubliette, for the current Midsummer Enchantment round, and it comes in a huge collection of colours... It was such a difficult choice to choose the one I wore today. With the addition of jewellery from bubble, and a head chain from Zombie Suicide, I think it was partly the outfit that let the magic take control... When you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good... MAGIC!

What could be more enchanting than a late evening wedding, something a little dark and on the deathly side - a Midsummer's Enchantment with a Til Death moment in the magical gardens of the even grounds... Midsummer Enchantment has opened it's doors once again for another round of Summertime Magic... The collection of designers this round is great, with some pretty Midsummer Enchantment magic running through all of the booths!! There will be lots of things to come from the event - as I said it's open now, but it runs until July 26th, with exclusives and a mini hunt for 5L items taking place whilst it's open. For some reason though, I figured what a beautiful way to start a midsummer off than with an evening wedding... Don't anyone get any ideas, there won't actually be a wedding, but a gorgeous dress - the Love "Til Death" - and sign - seemed perfect for the central point of the Midsummer Enchantment location and there's nothing more enchanting than a magical wedding?! Right?

Today, Sunday June 30th, is the last day for Eclipse! I know, I know... Sad Face! It's also the closing of a chapter for the Eclipse Event as with the end of this round they are making some changes to the way it works... What those changes will be, we have to wait and see but it all sounds so very exciting - as well as a little sad! It's been an honour and great fun to work for this dark little event, that's proved 'October Never Dies'...
Now for one last post, I'm going to dip my toe into the water and wait to see what comes next for this dark, macabre little event. It's hot, and I think a swim would be lovely! The little dead doll in me is crying out to swim with the nice fishies!
This post-apocalyptic beach is the perfect place for a dead doll to spend her hot summer days, sitting on an old jetty that sticks out into the sea. Using an Acid Rain Lookout Post - from DRD - to shelter from the sun's heat she watches the fishies devouring some of their last meal.
I think though it must be something to do with her blood that drew in the sharks today, I mean she's got cuts all over, and the Savette Cami - from 1313 Mockingbird Lane - that she threw on over her bikini is looking a little threadbare!
Although you can't really see it in the main photo too, this living dead doll like to take a few risks... She's wearing her own mini anchor around her neck - the anchor comes from Ama, and would normally be perfect decoration but Rudh replaced the pretty decoration for a huge weight to help her sink!!! Since it's not so clear in the main photo then, oh yes, I've been a good girl and have added a close up!!!
Thank you to the staff of ECLIPSE that have given me all these chances to work with them, it's been an honour! I can't wait to see where you take this event next!!!

Some days you just want to shut out the world and have some time to yourself, and that's what today has been for me! I wanted to just hide from the world and do something a little weird and mad and crazy all for myself...
Hence why this picture came to life...
As you can tell I'm happy because well, my face is scarred with some adorable little stars from the Starseed SongBird Tattoo... and I went a little mystical with it by adding the amazing third eye from random.Matter.
I dressed myself in a cute Summer Vibes top from Epoch at this months Frou Frou, and accessorised with Kalya Cuffs from Zombie Suicide, and well I guess you could say it's a look of the day that I'm happy with!!
Rock On!

One of the things I LOVE most about Second Life is that it can be a world of fantasy - from living a life that you want to live and looking like your idea of perfection, to being a crazy fairy tale character, anything in Second Life is possible. You should know by now just how much I love playing dress-up and making new characters for myself, the fantasy characters being my favourites, of course.
Today I decided to do something really pink and girlie, due to the sprouting of my new wings...
The growing of my new wings caused more than one change in me today, but these are PSYCHO.Byts Pixie Bento Wings, so I wasn't really surprised by the changes. First her eyes changed, and then suddenly her hair - which is a Doe gacha release at this month's LootBox Gacha Event.
Then once the transformation was complete there was only one thing that this little fairy wanted to do, skip through the pretty magical fields at the Mystical Fae Forest and gather flowers to make into jewellery... I caught a snapshot of her whilst she was stopping for a breather, fairies are hard to catch on camera, wearing a wreath of Passion Flowers...
