A Raven Princess on a Ghostly Path

I dont wanna keep going on about how crap life is at the moment but it's a general feeling and I'm sorry that I feel that way... I am trying hard so many times to let myself get swept up in a fantasy, but there are things that always keep dragging me back down... 
I felt like I needed a chance to escape again and I want to be anywhere else, so I let myself slip off into the late evening and become a Raven Queen... 

This evening, as the sun is setting, our salvage princess has decided to take a walk along the Ghostly Path - a backdrop from K&S - but she's not alone. A Corvus Princess from the Salvage Station cannot be allowed to walk alone, she's had to take her avian friends with her... Hiding from the light under her Pipe Parasol, and even though it's ripped, it's still great for keeping the last light of the day away from her pale skin...

Neon Planting at the Salvage Station!

I had the day off again today, and I won't for a few days in a row now so I've been busy doing a little blogging prep and I'm excited about what has been happening in the blogging world of Rudh today... The Cavalier Captain

I want a little more fantasy in my mind, I am bored little mind right now as everything seems to be crazy busy and then same old, same old... I'm going to have to find myself an adventure, maybe there is an adventure to be had before the Engine Room closes it's doors and takes away it's wonderful characters until next time... 

I've heard it said that the Engine Room will be closing it's doors on April 20th, so that doesn't give us long anymore to enjoy the adventures that it has brought with it's opening... 
Today we're onboard the boat of the Piratas Salvajes - which is a backdrop from The Bearded Guy - as it sails on the stormy seas. Rituals for Salvage and Enchantment

Today has been a day off for me, and you can tell that it's been a day off because I've had a chance to get very creative and make something magical when it comes to blogging... Don't get me wrong I LOVE all of the things that I share here but there are some days when I feel like the magic is just that little more magical... 
It's getting magically cold, some might say somewhat Frostbitten and more than a little salvaged... Magically cold and collected from salvaged things... 

A Frozen Ritualist - which is actually the name of the tattoo from AURO, that you can get your hands on at the Frostbitten Enchantment Graveyard - was performing a Ritual - in a backdrop from FOXCITY - involving a mirror and a very large Tsarknife - from FOE, available now at Salvage Station - but ended up getting herself Possessed... Boken glass from the mirror went everywhere, including being embedded into her chest... Luckily she's magical and can withstand the pain...

Tempestuous Tides for Mermonsters and Tentacled Beings

My mind is in turmoil, I am tired and distracted and keep doing things that cause myself harm... Nothing is super bad but I cut myself whilst making dinner tonight and I cried about it far too much... 
As is usual in times like this, when my brain is breaking I find myself disappearing into a prettier and happier part of my mind, somewhere a little more fantastical... The seas may be Tempestuous, but the rough seas should be the worst of my problems... 

The tempestuous nature of the seas are only exciting the tentacled beasts below the depths... They make Tentacle Hearts - like those from Krescendo - at the lovely merfolk that swim alongside them... 
This little mermonster knows that she's well protected by the tentacles from the deep, and her Alien Astral - which is actually the name of the head and skin from BeSpoke - aura will assist them in their hunt for pirates, and the protect her from the very pirates that want to steal her tears...

Twenty Thousand Leagues

What happens on a day like today when my mind is allowed to wander but I can't seem to find myself creating another weird and wonderful fae creation... I got a major case of being stuck today... I was in a rut, couldn't think what I wanted to do and for the life of me things were going no where... I WAS CONFUSED... Then I had a momentary brain fart, remembered that I'm in the blogger team for the epic, somewhat steampunkish themed Engine Room and TADAAAAAA my mind went into overdrive... 
Dreams of travelling with and working alongside some of the most interesting fantasy names in literary history, I didn't think it would ever happen... I loved studying his achievements, but when I was offered a trip Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, to the office of one Captain Nemo... I jumped at the chance... 

It's a brilliant sci-fi novel by the great Jules Verne, and is a great adventure that takes place on board the Nautilus Submarine of Captain Nemo. They discover all kinds of crazy things and even though it's a bit science fiction for my normal tastes, it's a story that should never be missed. 
So now that I'm able to check around Nemo's Study - which happens to be a backdrop from LORE for the Engine Room - there is so much to see... He's using a Mind's Analizer to read his rat's mind, he's got some weird Neoflora - from Blue Blood - mechanical flower things growing in an old Mermaid Tank - from Dirty Rat - and everything seems to be electrified... 
I'd had to make sure I fit into his weird little steampunk world... Luckily, I'd had the chance to shop at the Engine Room before I made my way under the sea...

Love on the Pastel Promenade

It's the month of hearts, romance and valentines... Pretty, sweet, romantic things that make the heart flutter and those that love love, sparkle... I felt a need to do something pretty and pink and romantic and sparkly, it's not my favourite of the holidays and so I'm doing my best, even though I'm very much the Anti-Valentine right now... It's time for some hearts, romance and sparkly things... 

I wanted to create my own personal little cupid... One that looks sweet and innocent, a cute little replacement for the diapered baby, with someone a little more sweet and devious... A pretty little feathered angel, that's pale skinned and glittering hearts and dripping in pink... It's the perfect outfit to take a walk down the Pastel Promenade in the city of Love...

Santa's Favourite Ho Ho Ho

It's been a long day and tomorrow will only be worse, but I'm so glad it's getting closer to Christmas and getting home to see the hubby had put the tree up and added the lights made me feel even more festive... 
Though this time of year I feel like an over worked elf in a yucky retail setting, though instead of being a worker elfI got a promotion this year, and became a slightly more important worker elf... 

The naughty little elf that I am, is so far down the naughty list that she has to find a way to boost herself back up. As a slightly more important elf, there is a sure fire way, Santa knows where all the naughty girls are, and there have been a few that taught me a few little tricks as a way to make sure Santa knows I can be good at certain things... 
Bring Santa a tankard of ale, and put on a little show while he relaxes before his big day... Even better if you wait until Mrs Claus has gone to bed and you dress yourself in ribbons and step up onto the Holiday Pole Stage - from MadPea at the current round of ACCESS until January 8th - to shake yourself off the naughty list...

A Club Full of Smiles

Today has been one of the crazies days at work for me since the covid days... The Netherlands, especially in the North of Holland, was hit by a MASSIVE storm this morning. Rain was coming down horizontally, the wind was blowing a gale so much so that I was almost blown off my feet, and trees were hitting the ground left, right and centre... It was almost scary, and would have been if by the time I got to work I wasn't more concerned about the fact I faced an 8 hour day of being wet and cold, and to top it all off I KNEW we'd have no customers due to the crappy weather conditions... 
By the time I got home this evening, I KNEW I needed a smile... 

In one of the deepest, lesser known parts of the city, there is a cute little bar that's known for making people smile. it's a smily bar for smilers... Today it's the place that I needs to get to right now, as I NEED a smile... I'm going to dress for the club and try to find the smile that I need. I think it's already working, this outfit makes me smile and I LOVE the colour combination!!!

Sunnies Behaving Badly!

A Happy Sunny, Sunday, the first of July... WHAT THE HECK, HOW CAN IT ALREADY BE JULY?! This month will be brilliant, I have to get some more training to be able to run the store on my own for the whole of August, and at the end of the month HellBone and I will be taking a short vacation to go home and see my family in the UK - it's a break that is very much needed... 
I will always be the first to admit that I HATE Summer. It's the season I could live without, since I really dislike the heat. I will admit however that I love the brilliantly bright colours of Summer, the sunshine on the flowers and the fact that Ice Lollies are a must in this heat... 

One of my favourite things come out of summer... Sunflowers are summer flowers and they match the season very well with their bright colour and smily sunshiney faces, and so of course I can never miss the opportunity to visit a Sunflower Farm... 
As with a lot of places in my world, there are fairies on this farm... These fairies are best friends with all of the Sunnys the Happy Flowers- the Sunny Happy Flowers that are both with and without the sungless are from Aardvark for this weekend's sales events - that live in the fields and are supposed to put on a good example for the new little sunflowers that are brought in by hand - from Junk Food - to join the family...

Baby Snowflakes...

Just the other day, the Snow Fae were here spreading their various different flakes around - not just in RL but in SLtoo - and as much as I like looking at the snow I'm always terrified of the fact that I might slip and hurt myself. Let's face it, my track record for NOT falling on the ice is a terrible one... 
Yet all of this brand new snowfall, is causing the birth's of so many brand new baby snowflakes... Each one pretty, sparkling and soft, babies to bring happiness to the winter days... 

On the edge of the wintery forest, one of the prettier, softer snowflake faes is there to make sure that these brand new baby snowflakes are taught to dance in the breeze. The super soft snowflake - the fatpack exclusive in the Xmas Huggables from vespertine at Kustom9 - is one of the newest babies to be created... The light Snow Fae are very protective of the new flake babies, wrapping them in a veil of their dancing bretheren. The Guide of the Moon

Time to relax after a long day at work, I find myself dozing on the sofa and letting my mind drift into a slumber of sorts. I know that I should be taking a shower to unwind, but I cannot help myself, laying in the far and keeping my eyes closed to block out all of the noise of the day is a damn good idea... 
While my mind drifts off, I find myself floating into the clouds, the darkening clouds where the stars are slowly beginning to peek out and glitter the sky... 

Floating in the Starbright Starlight- which is actually an older backdrop from Synnergy - I found myself travelling just a little too high... The moon was clearly visible, but that's not what was the most surprising. As I peeped over the clouds, my eyes adjusting to the twinkling stars  and being so close to the moon, I realised that it was being held like a Moon Balloon - from Schadenfreude - by one of the most amazing creatures I've ever seen... A moonlit KIRIN Dragon - a beautiful release from Forest Fantasy Store that includes not just the gorgeous body tattoos, but various body spikes, horns, and a beautiful tail - in silver and white, was guiding the moon through the sky, surrounded by dancing Willow the Whisps - from Hextraordinary. So ethereal was she, such a magical dragonness of the moonlight...

Strutting like a Peacock

Now that the Midnight Order has begun, but what goes on during the daylight hours when the monsters of the Midnight Order are resting... The Midnight Order doesn't only welcome the monsters, there are faefolk and spirits that discuss the more beautiful side of the darkness... 
One of those happens to be a sparkling Goddess that prefers the company of birdlife, especially the regal peacocks, that strut and show off and, well that definitely appeals to her... 

This goddess wanders through the buildings of Korakia - a backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis, available in this weekend's sales - talking to the beautiful peacocks that are strutting their stuff trying to outdo her in the glamour stakes...
Unfortunately for the birds, there is nothing that can rival the goddess for glamour... Spikey Lil' Demon

Even though it's summertime, and therefore I have a desire to do things that are bright and colourful and happy, there is a bigger, deeper side of me that is crying out for some air time. The dark, deeper, demonic monstrous side of me wants to come out to play, and frankly who am I to deny her... She usually comes out when I'm super happy, and right now I'm fairly happy... Dark and twisted and happy... 

At the moment, she's trying to avoid the heat while it's hot this summer, it's kinda funny to think of a demon getting too hot but it happens, OK?! 
She's a spikey little demon... Mostly due to her amazing new jewellery... Her Barbed Necklace - from Six Feet Under at The New Ones Event - and her adorable Umbra Nose Piercing - also from Six Feet Under, but this time at The Vault - make a perfect set, then the addition of a simple, yet spiked hair accessory from ERSCH, and she was perfectly dressed for a riot in the darkness...

Dikku Neon Nights!

Do you ever have times when you put together an outfit and then CANNOT stop wondering what you want to do to show it off?! I've been having one of those days, the kind where I put on an outfit that makes me smile and then I cannot help myself... I cannot stop tweaking and changing things, adding and replacing things, and then wondering where the heck I'm going to show off the epic outfit I pulled together... 
Just my luck that the Neon Nights - a backdrop from Paparazzi - club was closed until later, I wanted to show off my pretty little outfit of dicks... 

Since I cannot show it off in the club, well I'll just park outside and wait like a cheap hooker on the corner and show myself off... 
I'm a little Dickish today... It's CUTE though I promise... I mean it was all started by this adorable Sachie Hybrid Dikku Skirt - from Ghoul - that has a surprise behind *wink wink*, and it seemed to look so cute with the Ibis Shirt that's all hanging off and undone - from miss chelsea - but I went through so many different options as to what would I wear on my exposed nunga... Pasties, it had to be pasties, as a bra was just not working for me, then I remembered these adorable Lenore Pasties - from Violetility - and was happy... A few more little details like my necklaces from ERSCH and Ama - yes that's what you think it is hehe, a girl needs to keep her beads close at hand - and I was happy to stand on the corner like a hooker sucking a lollypop until the club opens!!!

Ice-Cream for the Fairies

OK I know that it's nearly Halloween but I decided to have a little change today and do something super cute and fairyful, just because I'd been doing some digging around in my inventory and found some pretty fairy Ice-Cream that had to be shared with my friends in the Lost Unicorn Forest!

Beach Resorts Fit For Santa

It's December 27th, and that means that the majority of the Christmas celebrations are over... It's on wards and upwards into the new year. Though this does mean one thing, the Fat Man is already able to sit back and take a bit of a holiday before plans begin for the next year... 
This year after his mammoth trek around the globe, I hear that he's vacationing at the Hotel California!

He's given the reindeer a bit of a holiday rest somewhere green and relaxing, but while he's on the beach he's going to need some assistance with getting around. In this case, he is willing to have the help of anyone he can, and while on the beach he met some somewhat - but not really - willing assistants! 
This was all thanks to the Mojito-Ho-Ho-Ho Sleigh from Nantra - it's an awesome pose prop for this time of year.

The Pink Flamingo Diner

It's officially Second Life's 16th Birthday... Happy Sweet 16 Second Life. Many people have different views about this SL universe, those that don't play think it's strange but those that are involved will often say they either love or hate it. We complain when it doesn't work, any time there's a problem the community comes together to rant on social media outlets like facebook. Yet with a platform like Second Life I'm still amazed at the creativity, the friendships and loves that come from a virtual - and some might say Non-real" - environment. Without this 16 year old "game" I wouldn't have met some of my favourite people - I owe my bestie, my hubby and even family to this online universe... Thank you Linden Labs for bringing us all together!
Now the theme of this year's birthday celebrations is dropping us very much into the 50's with lots of retro style and a good dash of rockabilly, so in true Rudh fashion I'm going to celebrate this my own way... 

Yes I know it's not truly 1950's in style, and it's also not totally Rockabilly, but it's the way Rudh would interpret it, and well, that's good enough for me! 
I found this amazing place with a 1950s & 1960s zone called Time Portal - that appears to cover everything from the Romans onwards - it looks like a really interesting place to explore as a travel through time, so I guarantee I'll be going back to investigate more! She even met Mr.Silent type there hehe!
The outfit though was the reason I went exploring, so I guess you could call it a look of the day?! I bought this crazy, but adorable, Susanne Skirt from ERSCH - that's available at Harajuku - and went to town accessorising... First with a Magika wig that comes with the bow and then a pair of Zombie Suicide Gemmed Retro Glasses, which were released for Vintage Fair but should now be at the mainstore! Since you cannot really see them too closely in the main picture, I've been good and added close-ups, but they are cute with the little gems!

Mmmmm Donuts

You may have guessed by now that I have a bit of a penchant for Pizza... I LOVE Pizza, it's one of my favourite kinds of naughties and I'd eat it every day if I could lol, but Pizza is a main course, what about Dessert?! Some people reach for ice cream, others chocolate, fruit is popular too but for me it's CAKE! I love cake, and in fact there is one type of cake I love more than others... DOUGHNUTS - or Donuts for the Americanese people out there!

Yes I wrote it with the American Spelling in my picture, Doughnuts is just too long of a word otherwise LOL... BUT BUT BUT Look at all the doughnutty goodness... It's on the walls - thanks to a pose backdrop from astralia - bouquets and jewellery made of doughnuts, and even my thoughts are appearing as little doughnut words over my head - thanks to dust bunny... 
Though I will say it's a little evil all this sugary goodness, I've come over all pink... I even chose to wear a pink version of this adorable little Breezy Babydoll from epoch!! I chose to wear pink... What is wrong with me?! Must be all the sugary icing... Sins Released... Proud, Vain, but so Pretty

There are 7 of the Deadly Sins, and each has it's own attributes which come through in the demeanour of Rudh every time one of them takes over her body. Lust is most common place but sometimes, when the others have control you see a side of Rudh that is not the normal. 
Pride, or sometimes as the sin is known Vanity, doesn't tend to be something I'm very good at... I always find myself second guessing and NEVER seem to be able to feel proud of things that I've done as I have a bit of an issue with self-confidence, or more correctly a lack of self confidence!  

The Pride sin is very vain and likes to be surrounded by mirrors... She's glam and mysterious and prides herself on the magic within...
Her outfit is something chosen specifically to show off her Astral Divinity - since she's proud of being such an important demon as one of the sins, dontcha know... Hand crafted by the workers of egosuamii and United Colors she dances through The Arcade like a beacon of light her pride and vanity showing through the glittering facade... Look at me, worship me, it screams... 
I only hope some of the pride in myself shines through today...
