It's been a while but sometimes it happens. I don't very often feel like doing something that could be considered a basic look-of-the-day kinda post, but I LOVE my outfit today, it's very fitting for the times at the moment, and well... I LOVE IT! It's a subtle reminder of a very important task at the moment...
The reason for this look started all because of the new collection of shirts for the store Pretty Sexy Things (PST), owned by my sister Racey. Her store is available on the marketplace!
I added an awesome jacket from Pseudo and then some leggings from miss chelsea, and the look was complete! I couldn't help myself, had to pose in the mirror!

A couple of days ago I posted a rambling about the Australian Bushfires Wildlife Benefit which is set to take place over the Australia Day weekend. Plans were being set in motion for a grand event called "Surviving Hell - Australian Bushfire Wildlife Benefit" in which Kay Weston - of Image Essentials - and Ally Dwyer Applewhyte - of Something New - were getting the ball rolling seeking support for the fundraiser!
Well, today is the BIG day... The HUGE event that is Surviving Hell - Australian Bushfire Wildlife Benefit will start today, and it's going to be amazing! Congrats to Kay and Ally for organizing something that should - I say should to be optimistic, WILL is more likely - raise funds and awareness in support for the RSPCA to provide care to so many of the injured animals that were caught in the Australian Bushfires...

It is split over two parts... The performances and the shopping!! Since I'm a bonafide shopaholic, we'll start there...
The shopping side of things is being hosted by the minds behind FaMESHed - located on the FaMESHed X sim - and the list of participating names is EPIC! Stores like Apple Fall, Lapointe & Bastchild, Lelutka, Blueberry, Image Essentials, Something New, Witchcraft, Cult and Nantra - to name just a VERY SMALL few - will be donating either items that will have a 100% donation towards the event or will be giving away some fantastic raffle prizes that you can enter to win! One of these prizes is a YEAR LONG ACCESS to the FaMESHed Blogger Group with early access for 2 friends for an entire year! Who wouldn't wanna win a prize like that?! I know I cannot wait to enter, that sounds totally amazing!
I told you it was going to be EPIC, but wait as if that wasn't enough there will also be the events taking place on the performance sim - as a side note, there will be a full set of vendors and some of the raffles taking place at the performance sim too! There will be 19 live singers taking part on the performance sim over Saturday and Sunday, and there is something for everyone - all kinds of styles and tastes are being catered for, with some amazing singers performing and sharing their talents to raise awareness and funds for the event! Saturday Morning when I was younger meant only ONE THING... Cartoons!! As a kid - like many other kids out there - I'd be getting up, grabbing some cereal and laying on the floor watching the same cartoons I'd seen replayed a thousand times on Nickelodeon.
Now that I'm older, it doesn't seem to be so much of thing that I'm able to do anymore, BUT there's always wishful thinking... Maybe next Saturday?!
Of course when Rudh watches Saturday Morning Cartoons, it's done with her usual dead girl flair... mostly because the cartoon that is about to start is ECLIPSE based. It was bound to be a little dark and macabre... although maybe not to the same extent as her Teddy Bear?
She's been good and pulled on some decent looking clothes that could be seen as floppy around the house clothes - although technically it's actually a Tank Top from Pretty Sexy Things at Rally to Rescue and a pair of Storybook pants - yet there's more than a couple of things from the new round of Eclipse too!
Her new earrings are a release by Spookshow called Diabolos. A set of earrings that may need modifying to fit your ears, but are very easy to make fit no matter the style of ears you wear. You may also notice those reddish looking scars on her cheeks - that's blood by the way - and it's a new makeup release, along with the adorable little Skull Ribbons, from The White Crow. Both of these things can be grabbed at the new round of the ECLIPSE... The Eclipse, so I'm told, will be changing soon too! A new Eclipse will appear once in the two months, and there are more changes to come too... Sounds exciting doesn't it, let's wait and see what the future brings, but for now enjoy the new Eclipse!

Well, it's been a crazy busy week this week... There's been so much drama in the cheese shop and my RL friendships have taken a massive beating but right now I'm just tired. SO very tired. It's been physically, but even more mentally exhausting and I just want to sleep all weekend now.
As you can tell I'm even too sleepy to get Rudh to do anything right now, I'm just gonna let her sleep, while I "sleep" through my RL Friday!
Though, while she's sleeping there are a few things that need to be shared, so as I let sleeping dogs - or in this case cats - lie, I will just take a moment or two to point out the super awesomeness that needs sharing!
First take a look at the framed articles that she has up in her bedroom... On the left you can see the amazing Flamingo Print artwork from the DOUBLE 0s, and on the right some adorable pictures of our RL fur babies - Izzy the dog, and Anna the cat - in some awesome Yuca and Lola Frames from Belle Epoque. Both of these things are available at the awesome Rally to Rescue event, hosted by Ghost Bullys MC to raise awareness and funds for Animal Rescue charities, until June 20th!
Also, while you're looking, check out these amazeballs slippers from Violetility. They are a gacha release for the current round of The Arcade, and are one pair of a collection of Supernatural Slippers... It was so hard to decide which slippers I wanted to wear, they are all so cute and comfy, but well it's Cthulu how could I not choose these?!

The Gators MC is hosting a photo contest again this month and I want to make sure I share with you the details of the even, I also want to share my pretty picture for it too, but that's just me trying to drum up support I guess!
The theme is Autumn - or Fall depending on which side of the Atlantic you're on - and so it's all about getting cosy, russet colours and that feeling of Winter coming... For me, it was time for a mug of hot apple cider...
When I thought of Autumn themed, I was instantly thinking of a place called Moochie - a pretty place with lots to explore that changes with the season, or at least it seems to anyway! Right now it's all Autumnal and there's even HOT APPLE CIDER!!!! It's the perfect place for Sweater Weather!

Fries Before Guys. Such a wonderful Phrase, that really should be used more often. Guys have a bro code, and I've heard that term Bros Before Hoes a few times in my years in SL, yet it seems that when a girl gets a guy their fries are often left to go cold. Friendships that have been around for years can be left to fizzle out when a new guy comes into the picture, and each time it feels kinda heartbreaking for the one that's left behind. I'm guessing it can be the same with guys too though, it's not just a girl thing.
Still sometimes when you choose a guy before your fries it can be a little like a game of chicken, which will wander off first, the guy or the fry LOL...
My sister Racey recently sent me a load of her new releases - for her awesome store Pretty Sexy Things - including a selection of awesome slogan sweaters which are perfect for the Autumn months! A while ago now, although it's still something that's weighing heavily on my mind, I was expected to make a choice between fries and a guy - nothing romantic just a male "friend" that was being childish - Racey and her MC, my extended family, were the fries in this situation... I'm definitely glad I kept the fries!!! Not just because of the sweaters either, before anyone gets that idea LOL!
Something simple to remember here... Most of the time if you choose a guy before your fries, the fries will be found hanging around somewhere... They may be cold, but they can be warmed up - usually! Just don't leave them too long, abandoned fries can start to rot and those are things you can never bring back to their original state!
