I've been so busy with work and being sick lately that I feel like I'm losing myself in the midst of things. I haven't really had time to stop and smell the roses, let alone sit down to take any pictures that I can blog.
Now that I've finally found a little time, I decided for some reason to do something a little dark and macabre! Everything has been a little too cute and bright lately, and I needed to let the Living Dead Doll inside me have her day in the light... So today, as a possible cure for the way that she's feeling, she's having a heart replacement...
In the dark old "Welcome Home" Asylum - a backdrop from Ex Machina - a "Hospital for Souls" the Hydrotub has been set up as a make shift operating table to remove her heart and then replace it with a Mekaniskt Heart. The device is a new invention from FIKA - available until March 15th at Aenigma - which will do the beating for me, and can be easily replaced when I'm getting heartbroken!
Just a short break for recovery, I have a long weekend, and so plenty of time, and I'll be back fighting fight and a little more android than usual hehe...

For HellBone's Birthday in RL, we got him one of those special coffee makers. The kind that you fill with beans, and it grinds and roasts the beans as it makes your coffee. I've never really been a huge coffee drinker, I'm usually seen nursing a cup of tea! MMMMMMM TEA... But since we've had this machine I'm becoming a bit of a coffee fiend.
Now it's becoming a case of don't talk to me until I've got a fresh coffee, especially in the morning, I'm becoming one of the Monster Coffee drinkers!
As you can clearly see, I was not in the mood to have someone get in the way of me making coffee this morning... Now I have a very big lump in my kitchen floor... Dammit!

She's also pretty sure that most of that isn't her blood, LOL! This little princess has had to start wearing her tiara around her neck as a necklace, and pick up a gun since the apocalypse has hit her little kingdom...

There's a war zone out there, and this little princess is caught up in the resistance that is trying to stop it. She's been in the war, and is now using shards of glass - that she keeps in her teeth to cut her way through things and if the bullets run out then glass it will be!!

It's funny, sometimes something can either bring out your good or bad sides... Today I'm actually using a backdrop for something that I already allowed my dark side to lovingly play with, now the somewhat angelic side of me is getting a turn too... I say somewhat because well it's ME, it's never gonna be totally angelic, and well from the looks of it, Angel Rudh has been a bad little Angel!

Sometimes I want to slip away... Today I'm having one of those days where I want to either slap someone for being stupid or just run away and hide. It doesn't help that I'm trying to quit smoking in RL, but some of the people I work with are simply asking for it today!
So I'm going to take the easier option and run away for a while, maybe to Wonderland... Sounds like a very good idea to me. I have always loved the idea of Wonderland...
I know it's not the first time I've ever mentioned my love of Wonderland, and I'm sure as hell it won't be my last mention of it either. Yet, today I need to escape to somewhere like this more than ever. Luckily the perfect backdrop, for me to slip into Wonderland was at WHOLE WHEAT, when she landed in Wonderland and was able to get her bearings she spotted a little glass heart on the floor, picking it up and peeking through it - thanks to a pose and prop from {NANTRA} at the current round of ULTRA - she saw a totally different side to wonderland, something a little darker perhaps, a world ruled by the Queen of Hearts...
Aside from the use of this awesome pose, this picture is actually all because of the fact that a while ago now - I think it was way way way back at Candy Fair - I bought this outfit from Moon Amore and have been waiting all this time to use it! It's amazeballs, pure and simply, I cannot think of a better way to describe it! Now I did something I'd never usually do with this outfit. I bought a FatPack, the reason being is that you could colour all the pieces individually, whereas the single colours everything was just a varying shade of the same colour - something to bear in mind in case you wanna look at this outfit for yourself!

Right... It was perfect, and Santa even left a nicely bound and gagged present, wrapped in ribbon - thanks to Violetility and Caverna Obscura - hanging from it's branches... Someone's been a very good boy this year it seems...
Though judging by her bruises, and that slightly sticky looking candy cane on the floor, it seems like someone else had some fun before he popped back up the chimney too... Must have gotten a little rough, there's a broken bauble on the floor down there!!

Sometimes even the Living Dead Dolls are in need of repair... They get dropped off with the Travelling Doll Maker and he repairs what is in need of mending...
I think at the moment, today especially, I'm very sleepy and I doubt that he will be able to fix that but Rudh may be a little easier to mend. She looks to be missing some hands perhaps, and so she's laid out on the floor of the doll maker's office until he returns to help her out....
This idea formed in my head thanks to a collection of furniture and a gacha collection of doll parts... It doesn't ever take much to get a story flowing in my crazy weird brain LOL...
The furniture is one that I have been contemplating playing with for a long while now but never quite knew what I wanted to do with it... It's a set from Fapple - released for this month's Men's Department - that is called The Traveler. The set includes bookshelves, desk, chair and rug, with a few other things that are not shown here... Then to add that extra doll makerish feeling to the picture I decided to use some of my new toys from this month's Epiphany... DISORDERLY created a Gacha Collection called Abandonment, and it's DOLL PARTS!!!
Her joints seem a little bloody and her lips a little cracked - thanks to a new lipstick layer that's available from Ama at Cosmopolitan - but it seems that most important is a new set of eyes and hands are needed - I wonder where the old ones have gone? - they are currently masked by the blindfold from Maru Kado, and the stumps where her hands need to be replaced are protected by a pair of Maru Kado gloves - both of which are available at the soon to close Nightmare Event.
Now I know that some of these things are a little difficult to see, so like a good blogger I'm including a close up too...
I think it might look a bit better when there is a replacement to her body parts perhaps!?!

When I was a little girl my mum used to read me bed time stories, never the children's books although I was introduced to Dr.Seuss very young, but more the stories that were written for older audiences. I was involved in Lewis, Tolkein and Carroll... I LOVED the fantasy worlds that they created where animals talked and magic was all over the place, as I grew older I loved the subtler things I'd missed as a child, and I guess now days I count my love for these collections as the reason I'm so crazy about creating fantasy characters for myself.

It's been a while since I've done anything somewhat strange - I KNOW that most of my pictures tend to have a hint of the crazies, but I mean more than usual - and I wanted to spend some time playing dress up and making a fantastical creature since it's something that always makes me smile and feel better about myself.
Today I was able to get my hands on something that shouldn't really have been so kookie and abnormal, but somehow ended up doing exactly that. What started with a sexy looking bodysuit rapidly became a crazy character in my mind, and well... as per usual, the rest is Rudhish History!
So let's start at the beginning, this whole outfit started out because I was able to get my hands on this soon to be released - at the upcoming Dark Style Fair, which by the way I will no doubt be talking about at a later stage when the event opens on May 1st - bodysuit called Android 18 from Nightmare! These bodysuits will be available in three different options - TriBlack, seen here, TriWhite and Plain - but you have to wait just a little longer as they will not be available until May 1st. Also available from Nightmare at the event will be a set of Android 18 tattoos - not shown, but still cool to see - which includes a chest piece that sits over the heart and has various images for it's centre. I'll attach copies of the original ads below to give you a better idea of what you get - as I'm so awesomely helpful sometimes!
Yet one thing lead to another with this look... First the Android body suit, and the positioning of the chest piece because something robotic - or perhaps Frankenstein's Bride ish?! This then lead on to the though of her having had her heart removed since having the chest piece say "Error" was an option, so I needed a wound and well... One Surgery became a need for more beauty touch ups! I cannot explain the need for just one eye though... I guess that was down to the whole monsterish nature, and the fact that the perfect place for all of these operations just happened to be Dr.Frankenstein's lab - a WHOLE WHEAT?!
Weird I KNOW lol, but just let my mind roll with it, and I hope that it brings a smile to your face in one way or another... If this doesn't work, then wait until May 1st, because I'm sure that the back of this very sexy bodysuit will DEFINITELY be a cause for a smile!!

Some days you feel like you're being watched, and that is a feeling that doesn't feel all that good. Someone's looking over your shoulder, watching your every move and waiting for you to slip up - falling on your face. Maybe it's a sign of the usually well-hidden lack of self-esteem that I have, a sign that the cracks are there no matter what kind of veneer I put over the top of them, and that I worry so much about pleasing others that I'm afraid to fail anyone - no matter how much they hurt me in return. OR maybe it's all a sign of me over thinking too much, I do that too, and it leaves me feeling lost and alone without reason. The mind can be a pretty treacherous thing sometimes... Fear is the most difficult of all emotions to deal with, as it resonates into all walks of life.
Yet sometimes, things like fear can summon up other emotions... Things like fear can draw things out of us that we didn't believe possible - strength, passion and even in some very rare cases desire...
Today I have a sense of desire to protect myself, born of a perhaps unreal fear, but a feeling that's lurking in my brain... Images spring to life, but the image that I've created today of Rudh, really screams and shares that feeling of being watched whilst feeling alone all at once...
Would you believe that all these emotions came bubbling to the surface to become art because of one of the smallest pieces in this picture? I must have been harbouring these feelings in my mind, but there is ONE tiny object that brought this to life...
That object is the very pretty, very dainty looking, "Softly Bound" ribbon cuff from Ama - which is available until the 23rd at Tie Me Up by the way. This item could have taken me in all kinds of directions, from something pretty to something overly kinky, but instead it lead me somewhere dark and twisted. I guess it doesn't help that HellBone gave me this awesome Witch's Recluse Chair - from Jian - that looked SO perfect in his DRD Makeshift Refuge!
Now I will admit that although Rudh is being watched in this picture, and things do look a little sinister, I would have had a hard time taking this picture with the shadow of anyone else. There are very few people in SL that have seen my truly vulnerable side, and the man watching me is one of those. Having people like him around make the bad feelings fade into good ones, and I guess - much like taking this photo and writing a blog post - talking here really helps too... Right now that feeling I had when I started has gone, I just hope that it stays well buried and deep within the shadows from now on!

It's been a long time since I did something a little risqué and I feel that a little naughty is probably a good idea right about now... Something that will make me smile at least, and the picture that I'm about share with you definitely caused that!! What should have been a rather sexy photo-shoot, caused a massive fit of the giggles between myself and my good friend Lilian, and although for us the naughty effect wasn't so much naughty but silly, we definitely got the good feeling that we needed out of it!
It all started with a little event called Whore Couture, an event specifically designed to bring out the bad girl in us ladies, and at the same time get all the bad boys drooling...
It ended up in a picture that may or may not have been staged! I'll leave that to your dirty little imaginations!
The pose used is one from Come Soon called Cigar - which is available at the Whore Couture Fair and includes the pose and setting - but I have to admit that I added a few extra little details for a little more "spice". All of the toys and some of the props on the table have been added as that little extra so if you want that spice make sure you take a look to see what I've included!
Covered in bite marks, hickies and lipstick, you will see that we had a little fun, now Lil needs a breather and a bit of a smoke, and who knows maybe we will play again, maybe next time if you're very good we may let you join in hehe!!!

Monday Morning comes again... It's a time of the week that sounds dreadful but isn't actually that bad - least I'm beginning to think that way - Tuesday morning always seems worse somehow?! Yet I am not denying that it is always a struggle to get myself up in the morning on a Monday morning.
There is just one thing that brightens up my Mondays at the moment and that's the fact that it is Walking Dead Night tonight. I am not a fan of the show, but HellBone is, which means that Monday Nights are awesome because I get a full hour of alone in bed time!!
In homage to The Walking Dead - yes I have no idea what I'm really doing here because I have no idea about the show at all, but you know me I enjoy being dead lol...
The pose I am using is perfect for that... It's a Come Soon Swag Bag Pose Prop - from last month's Swag Bag - called End of Line. If I'm going to be taken out, then I am taking out everyone else with me!
The outfit was one of the real reasons that I wanted to use this pose - for some reason they just seemed to fit together so well! The body suit and matching collar is a Salt & Pepper creation called Cyberized that you can win from a gacha machine in various colours and combinations at The Gacha Garden. It seemed perfectly accessorised with this Chained Mask and the Survivor Holster - both from The Little Bat that I found during the Pulse Games Event this year!

I've been watching a TV show on the History Channel - yes my inner geek is very happy at the moment - called Barbarians Rising recently... It's a docudrama about the so called barbarians that took on the Roman Empire in an attempt to save their homelands and people, and actually it's pretty good... Having studied Archaeology I tend to get a little bit geeky and will sometimes be known to shout at a screen that "that isn't right" so the fact I'm thinking it's good is telling you something LOL...
It's also gotten my blogger mojo working in overdrive... I WANT TO DO SOMETHING BARBARIANISH!!! Only problem is, I don't want to stick to true Barbarian... I want to give it that fantasy, sexed-up, video game style Barbarian Warrior Girl twist... SO that's that I did LOL...
It's really not hard to find the right bits and pieces in SL to make an outfit like the one I wanted... I really didn't need to look all that hard for it - in fact I got very lucky that I'd been sent all the items I needed as a blogger, which is one of the many perks I guess - yet once the pieces were added together, I was more than happy about the fantasy, sexed-up, video game style Barbarian Warrior Girl twist look I'd pulled together!
The basis of the outfit was this awesome outfit from Lassitude & Ennui - for the current round of We <3 RP until September 30th - is the Conqueror Set, shown here in Steel... It went perfectly with the accessory I chose to add from Paper Moon. The Necklace of Da'at is Paper Moon's release for The Secret Affair this month - I'm hoping that the large stone in the middle will distract from a few of those bruises that she's been getting in fights!
Now before I finish running around like a Barbarian Warrior skank - lol - I wanted to share details of the sim with you... This was taken at Skarvald, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a Vikingesque location, either to roleplay or take pictures in... Just don't forget your observer tag if you do head into the location!
