The Elementemporia Tome and the Crystal Portal

I'm not sure if it's just my perception of things but while I've been digging through the fun stuff that has come from the Engine Room this month, I've kinda noticed that there is a lot less steampunk and a lot more magical fantasy... Like I said, maybe it's just me but my brain is going into magical overdrive and I LOVE it... I will never complain, especially when you can take something in one theme and make it another... 
That's what happened today, the steampunk met the magic and wonderous things started to happen... 

Even the cyborgs have magicians, there are magical forces at work in the stratosphere and up within the New Horizons Space platform - which is part of the backdrop from The Bearded Guy - this robotic demon bears the mask of Pride's Ego - thanks to the CRYPTID Sin VII Masks from the Engine Room - while her body shines under the polished gold of her ELECTRA Body - a release from JANGKA, also at The Engine Room - and she surveys the stars through her Charon Coin Glasses - from Violetility at SABBATH until April 11th.
With the help of the Crystal Portal, that she wears on her back to keep it safe and protected - from RSStore - and the magical Elementemporia Tome - a book by Artemisia - the summoning process to bring in more starlight minions has begun, they will be born into the Experiment Tanks - by Oblivis - and they will stay there until they grow big and strong enough to light up the night...

A Dark Little Angel

Life has been shaky since I lost my furbaby on Sunday... I've been distracted and confused and unwilling to do much of anything besides sit with one of her toys and watch the same sort of silly movies and tv together that we always watched... I know now though that I need to start trying to get back some semblance of normality not just for me but for my hubby and kitten... 
I dug deep, searching through my mind to find out if the characters in me want to come out to play again... Seems like there is always a dark little spirit wanting to get out to experience the light... 

The magic definitely helps me to free my mind a little, and that's definitely something that my mind needs right now. As I've always said, blogging is definitely a form of therapy for me, and creating a look that is kinda magical but also a look of the day has become healing... My mind drifted and I smiled and things started to feel better... 
I may be a monster, I am definitely not an angel, though perhaps I could be a twisted combination of the both. Something magical, something monstrous and something that truly makes me smile... This outfit is one of those things for me too, the angellic demon, draped in pearls, dressed in black and looking cute...

The Anger of the Red Queen

Days like today have been crazy and problemati, tourists are much needed in my workplace, but at the same time they drive me fricking nuts sometimes. There has been so many people today that are out to make me want to kick their butts.
Getting home for the evening I slip into a pair of super comfy pyjamas, and curl up on the sofa to wind down after the day. I'm going to let my mind slip off into it's usual fantasy world although rather than pretty and fairytale, the Red Queen has had enough... The people are revolting, they are rising up against her tyrannical reign and she is angry... The magic is seething within her, ready to burst out and destroy... 

Standing in the throne room of Momento Mori Castle - a Spires Society creation for Midnight Order - her rage bubbling up, it's crazy to see such a beauty with such a terrible look on her face. It's worse to see the swirling mist inside her Moon Scepter, as her rage builds and it gets more violent when she gets more mad... Someone has to pay for this insolence... Someone will suffer...

Guarding the Engine Room

There is a rumour going around that something totally top secret is stored within one of the many sub-chambers of the Engine Room... It's so secret that even the rooms creators have no idea exactly what may be stored inside. It's definitely something that is super important though since they have now posted their own brand of armed guards, posted at the gates to the grounds... 

Rudh has been posted as a guard on the northern end of the estate, where the Darkness - a backdrop from IDK Poses - is thick and foggy, puts the senses right on edge... The uniform of these guards is gorgeous but definitely not warm enough for this kind of weather. The Guinevere Jacket - part of the Luas outfit, along with the mask worn in this look - and the Viktoria Corset with this extra caging - available from sixx x wraith at the Engine Room - really doesn't keep you all that warm, althoug it's so chic looking. It looks even better when the St. Czapka Cap - from Grasshopper - is added to the top! 
These guards may not be very warmly dressed, but they are very well armed... The Aether Stream Pistol - a weapon from Artemisia - is a brutal pistoal charged with ionic techology that will obliterate anything that it touches, and if that wasn't enough power, the Magus Rod - from Quills & Curiosities at The Warehouse - will freeze you on the spot the moment that you try to cross a guard...
