Hair Fair is coming to an end, today is the last day and we're down to the wire in the fund raising efforts for Wigs for Kids. Yet the last day of the Hair Fair has always been something of a special one because the last day of Hair Fair has always been Bandana Day... The day when we pull off our wigs and wear bandanas to raise yet more awareness for the cause.
There are so many gorgeous bandanas available, each a donated design to raise money for the cause, but I had to have this one...
I loved this little bandana from Blossom Mesh but available at the Hair Fair...
It made me want to go out and meet some new friends...

Wow it's not even October and I'm already letting my inner dead girl have all of the control... She's letting the Halloween loving me run riot, and since it's not really a holiday that is widely celebrated in the Netherlands, I'm running amok in SL!!!
There's gonna be lots of blood and gore and my face is even going to be wounded again - I'll be honest I've missed my face scars immensely - but I am SO excited I cannot wait to see what the Halloween season brings...

It's like straight jacket glamour... If a straight jackets were red carpet chic, and if this one wasn't covered in blood hehe...

For some reason I felt like doing something a little darker, a little more sinister today... I think that with Halloween drawing so close, there is going to be a lot more darkness on my blog over the next few weeks, after all it is the season that I've been waiting for...
Today I'm punked out... Rocker chick style... With a few spiky metallic embellishments for good luck, and I'm a train ride to a very warm but welcoming place...
I needed a feisty outfit to go with this amazingly feisty looking hair from adoness, which has been released for Hair Fair 2018. So that you know, Hair Fair 2018 is open now and it runs until October 7th - with 4 sims full of hairy stores, and lots of donations being made to benefit the Wigs for Kids charity!
Yet even with the punk style hair, I needed the perfect outfit, and I GOT REALLY LUCKY! On the same day I opened the hair, I found this awesome Gemma Set - from epoch at Suicide Dollz - in this Plaid print it seems so punk, but all the colours are awesome, it's a great mix-n-match set!!

As it's nearly Halloween, I decided one dark night to head out on my own to do a little ghost hunting. Armed with some of the tools I'd collected after watching one too many episodes of Ghost Adventures, I walked a little too far, ending up in a dark and seemingly abandoned sewer. It seemed like the perfect place to bust out my tools and hunt some ghosts...
Until I woke something up in the dark, and found myself getting scared and lost in the dark tunnels... Amazingly I found a spot where there were just a few bars of cellphone signal, a place I could put out a call for help, waiting there cowering in the dark until my hero came to save me...
My hero isn't the cape wearing kind... My hero is in a baseball cap and muddy jeans... My hero is my Daddy!
Lately my daddy is acting as my blogging inspiration at the moment... I say inspiration but actually it's more like bullying because basically my blogging mojo stopped working and he was standing there pushing me to try to get things done, though I guess that's what a parent's job is sometimes! Chopper has been like a Daddy to me for a long time now, and yes it's proper parenting none of this BDSM stuff. He's one of my closest friends and I wouldn't be able to do SL without him anymore, he's even good at rescuing me from the ghosties... Just ask Zak Bagans... No one messes with Bluto - right Chopper?!
So I had this pose from Secret Poses - which is available at The Men Jail Event - and when we went looking for a setting at Backdrop City, this Paparazzi "Moody Sewer" jumped out... With a few added touches like the garbage and leaves, and the addition of a Shadow Figure lurking in the halls, the stage was set. Throw on a little mud, and make me look scared, and it's Daddy to the rescue!!!

Just a few short hours and one of the hairiest events of the year opens it's doors to the shopping loving public... It's a much loved event that people wait for expectantly all year... If you haven't got the slightest inkling, I'm talking about HAIR FAIR!!!
The biggest Hair event of the SL calendar opens it's doors on September 22nd - that's TOMORROW - and that means that loads of SL's hair designers have come together to raise money for the awesome charity Wigs for Kids...
Today though is Demo day... If you haven't done it yet, get yourself into the group and have a hairy time trying on all the demos of the awesome wigs you can choose for yourself while raising money for those in need!!!
Rudh ran around the fair trying on her demos and grabbing some of the gorgeous wigs, but for everyone else there is an awesome way you can try the demos on at home. The Hair Fair Demo group is open and ALL demos from the designers taking part can be found in this group... For more details check out the Hair Fair Blog... There's a link on the page for the in world group... Then why not have a demo party and try on all the hair.
