Krampus Crash Causes Chaos

This time of year has always been associated with Santa, or one of his many versions, but there are other, darker versions of the jolly red man that cause nightmares in the naughtiest of children... 
Krampus, is the darkest of the St.Nicholas forms. Krampus, takes the naughty children in his sack rather than provide them treats for being good... 
Krampus, isn't like Santa though, this monster is different... He's the kind that would be more likely to send a child to Monster High... I imagine that's how his daughter would be, a Monster High Christmas spirit... One that seems to find herself in far too much trouble... 

The daughter of Krampus ALWAYS finds herself in trouble, she'd be the kind of child that the Krampus might pick up in his sack, if she wasn't already someone he had to deal with on a daily basis... It was only this morning that this little Ice Princess, marked by her Ice Crown - from Six Feet Under at the SL Christmas Expo, and since the picture makes it look small and dark, I've included the ad below - was persuaded by some of the Krampus Elves  to steal Santa's sleigh and take it on a joy ride. From there it turned into a bit of a Holy Shit night as the ride lead to a crash in the Winter Courtyard, and chaos ensued...

Pokebutts in Pokeballs

I'm really feeling all over the place at the moment, and I guess that's reflected in the fact that I'm all over the place with my blogging... Yesterday I was dark and magical, today well... I gotta catch 'em all! 

Luckily she ended up not trying to catch her adorable little pokemon friends in the original fighting manner... Who knew that Pokemon loved to play in the ball pit! I dropped a few of my Pokeballs into the ball pit to see if I could lure some of them and catch 'em all... 
Aren't these little pokebutts cute?! They are a collection from Ananas, available now at Ota.Con, and they are great for both cuddling and decorating with! Such adorable butts, you simply gotta catch 'em all!

Lost in the Stars

It's been a few days since I was able to sit down and do anything in my blog. Have been super busy in RL, work has taken a massive slow down since the shop opened again in June as Europe seems to be heading back into another code orange of Covid problems... It's scary, and so today I'm going to step away from the dark me and do something light, cute and with a heaped dose of pretty!!! Something to make me smile, and set the dark thoughts to the side, even just for a moment... 

Sparkles, gems, planets and stars - not usually what you might expect from me, since I am so scared of Aliens, but the sparkles and little planets make me smile so much I couldn't get enough of this look! 
Would you believe it if I tell you that the teeniest thing started this look, and it spiraled out of starlight control... The tiny thing that started this look... The gorgeous little Lunar Nose Ring from Zombie Suicide, that was released a while ago for Saturday Sale but is now still available at the regular price! 
With the addition of lots of other sparkly planets, and starry accessories, as well as an adorable bindi from Six Feet Under, some Quirky cloudy glasses and even a tiara of crystals - from Sweet Thing.

Butterflies are Little Miracles

Sometimes our SL Photography art can really reflect life... Today, although totally unintentionally, this picture is a bit of an insight into my RL situation, nothing family related or anything nice but I'm referring to my working life here... As it stands there will be NO miracles in my workplace. The company I work for seems to be a ticking time bomb, slowly prepping itself for an implosion... None of the management know what they are doing and my team leader... Well let's just say that perhaps a sponge could do things better! I am in a serious ranting mood, and am at the point of being able to write a book called "The Reasons my Boss is More Useless than a Fridge without Electricity" - least when a Fridge has no power you can plug it in or it will keep things cool if you don't open the door until you can find power!

So yes, the sign in the Misfit Ghetto really does reflect on my worklife at the moment, and yes the chaos surrounding that sign could in fact be my workplace... Perhaps the dog is my boss too - bit useless as a guard dog as it doesn't move, just like my boss is a bit useless as a team leader because he cannot remember his own working guidelines, he's the man that once told my my computer was running slow because - and I quote - it was "thick"!
The outfit is one that I have worn on and off since I bought it a while ago and haven't really thought about blogging until now... Many of the events where these pieces were bought have since changed their line-ups but I am sure you can find these things at the mainstores!
I bought the Oversized Cropped Sweatshirt from Cameo 6ixx at a past round of Kustom9, along with the laced up Alexandra boots from N-Core. The rest of my outfit was just something I pulled together from my hoard...
Yet it is the pose in this case that seems most significant to me... This Signature Pose called Rosalie that comes with the pretty little butterfly pose props. Butterflies have always been a symbol of hope - not just for me but for many people - so I am hoping that in all this gloom there will be a glimmer of light, I'm hoping that can be as true for RL as it can in SL...
