The First Snow in the Festive Season

December 1st, officially the first day on the run up to Christmas... It is three weeks now until the most festive day of the year. This year as all years, I'm looking forward to it but I'm heading into the festivites with trepidation after all of the terror that I went through last year. I am trying to make sure that I at least plan to be positive, I am looking forward to the month ahead... 
It helped that today in SL, I felt the first snowfall of the year... 

The first snowfall - like in the backdrop from Synnergy.Tavis - of the year in SL seems like a silly thing, it seems that you can find so many places where the snow has been falling a while, but each and everyone is super pretty. I am so excited to start exploring them all... 
As the first flakes of snow started to fall, I found a quiet little place to sit, while my puppy pal ran around and chased the flakes, and I did what you always have to do as a kid... Try to catch a snowflake on your tongue!

Even Monsters Love Pumpkin Spice!

I had today off, thanks to the fact that it is a holiday in America - thank you America for having a national holiday, although I'm not sure which one it's supposed to be, is it Labor Day? LOL - but that meant I got the chance to sit and hide away from the builders that are demolishing my house. 
I had to get myself out of the house somehow, the little monster in me was going stir crazy, and it's the start of Autumn - kinda sorta almost - but that means the start of Pumpkin Spice Season... I know it's  little cliche, but I NEED to get myself one... 

The little monster in me had to find a way to sneak out... I slipped a jacket on over my super, cute Ellie Dress - from AsteroidBox - and tried to subdue my unruly friends, it would have been easier if I hadn't had the Medusa Friends - from Tardfish - hiding in my hair today... 
I snuck out via the Moody Blue Sewer - a backdrop from Paparazzi - and decided that I was heading directly to Junk Food in The New Ones mall, on a Junkin Coffee run... They make the BEST Pumpkin Spice everything!!! Luckily the sewer was quiet, there was no sign that I'd come and gone, with the exception of a few of the first of the falling leaves having followed me into the sewer as I made a dash home...

Spikey Lil' Demon

Even though it's summertime, and therefore I have a desire to do things that are bright and colourful and happy, there is a bigger, deeper side of me that is crying out for some air time. The dark, deeper, demonic monstrous side of me wants to come out to play, and frankly who am I to deny her... She usually comes out when I'm super happy, and right now I'm fairly happy... Dark and twisted and happy... 

At the moment, she's trying to avoid the heat while it's hot this summer, it's kinda funny to think of a demon getting too hot but it happens, OK?! 
She's a spikey little demon... Mostly due to her amazing new jewellery... Her Barbed Necklace - from Six Feet Under at The New Ones Event - and her adorable Umbra Nose Piercing - also from Six Feet Under, but this time at The Vault - make a perfect set, then the addition of a simple, yet spiked hair accessory from ERSCH, and she was perfectly dressed for a riot in the darkness...
