The Genie is OUT!

It's Halloween Season... That means there is likely to be a lot of horror, a great big helping of blood, and definitely a great deal of dressing up... I may not make it horrifically deadly all month but you know me, I LOVE being able to play dress up...
Last post was a Pirate, today we're as far away from the sea as can be although the fairytale magic still prevails, but our adventures have taken us to the Sinking Sands of the Desert to another Arabian Night...

Within the mirrors that hold the magic of the sands you may stumble across the Genie's lost lamp... Though if you do find it in the sand, becareful what you wish for... Wishes are made to be broken, wishes are made to be corrupted, and the genies of the lamp are known to be tricky so that they can twist your desires to suit their own wicked deeds...

Color Me White?!

So now it's time to talk colours again... The Color Me Poject has started once again, and boy this time there are a LOT of pretty shoes... Maybe my next post will just be shoes?! 
The colour this time is, although I don't tend to wear a lot of it, a fairly useful and easy one to keep a collection of. You never know when this colour will come in handy, and it is, a very hand colour to have for any look! I'm talking about White! White like black is one of those colours that works well with a lot of different colours. This time I'm rocking  pastel and white look, next time, who knows it could be monochromes or even electrics! 

The White Look that I chose to share today is all because of a dress that I would NEVER in a million years have thought about buying, but actually once I had it on, and had dressed it up, it suited me so well in it's kookiness that I wasn't going to just forget about it!
The dress in question is one for the Color Me Project from Jinx. Called Amelia - a nickname my friends in RL used to give me if I was being a moody cow - it is everything girlie that I would never normally be seen dead in... Frills, pastel butterflies and then white on top of that, I'd normally shy away from a dress like this, but I think in this look it works for me! I teamed it with a pair of sky high platform heel boots, called Kirsten from VG Shoes, and then added some Rudhish style accessories in the form of this HUGE Pastel Wig from Blues adorned with a Hair Rose that comes from the Mag<3.B. Pink My Babe Outfit and a pretty pearl necklace from Odelitte.
The other thing that should have honourable mention is this AWESOME War-Ready ILO Bear from yumyums. Now these were made for the just closed Creepy Kawaii fair, but Iokko has had ILO bears in her collection for almost as long as she has had a store. I still have the mark 1 - i-loo - style from way back when yumyums was known as Sugar. No matter the colour these come in, I LOVE THEM... Always have and always will... These are one of my favourite toys in my SL hoard!!! 
OH just a little peek at my Picnic too... I will no doubt have a close-up look at this soon, but for now, tea?

Demons Need Love Too...

Valentines Day is fast approaching, I'm not overly excited about it and am more giggly excited that today is Friday 13th!
Anyway though, I was messing around, playing with some of the things that I still had and hadn't had a chance to blog during my massive haul of angels for the Color Me Project. SO MUCH RED, I swear after this round is over I will be avoiding the colour like the plague until another colour comes along!
This time though I took a different route from angels... I mean even Demons need love, don't they?! Besides, how could you turn down a Demoness that is this cute?!

Before I talk about the look I wanted to say I LOVE THIS PHOTO... It was a one shot, unedited - with the exception of some cropping - and the thing that makes me feel happiest is that even though she has some very dead eyes - courtesy of a group gift from 7mad;Ravens - the way they seem to shine shows that there is a lot of life in this Living Dead Dolly!! Her eyes make this photo one of my personal favourites in a very long time for me!
The rest of her look was made up of odds and ends that were placed - or maybe a better term would be dumped - haphazardly in the huge once cavernous space that is my warehouse of a wardrobe!
A few of the items were still waiting in the blogger folder I have for the Color Me Project... These things couldn't be ignored, look at them they are too cute!!! The dress is a cute "Wendy Dress" from Wertina, I wore another Persefona hair wreath as well as some gorgeous hair accessories in the form of the OrsiniRed Peony Wings Headpiece, and then to give it that demonic twist my horns were allowed to grow, a Death Row Designs style wrapped in chains...

Colour Me Angels...

There is a brand new event hitting the SL shopping scene starting this week! The Color Me Project - and yes it will be hard to spell Colour in the American way for me EVERY Time I have to try - is brand new and already seems like a LOT of fun. 
For me it kinda harks back to the days when I used to chomp at the bit to create a look for the 52 Weeks of Colour Challenge... It was that, that got me addicted to blogging, and thinking about it, it's hard to realise that it was so long ago! 
The opening colour - or should that be color - for this week is Red... Varying shades, and styles, but EVERYTHING is red! I guess you could say that it is perfect for the season lol... BAH HUMBUG to Valentines Day! 
Now this post is a MONSTER, I went a little crazy Rudh Style and tried to get as much shown as humanly possible. I actually really loved working on it, so who knows every event round I might do this again... BUT please bear with me and enjoy the Red looks that I've created! 

The main photo I wanted to create had to have a range of the different looks available, worn Rudh style! But I also had some brilliant poses that were non- Color Me Project that seemed perfect for the job. So let's have a look at those first. The HUGE "Love U" Posing Heart - from Image Essentials, and yours if you head over to get it at the With Love Fair!   is a little obscured by the Angels, but used alone it would make the PERFECT pose for saying love you to someone this Valentines! 
Likewise for the Angel on her knees down in front, this is a perfect pose to show someone I LOVE YOU on Valentines - only this one is from Signature Pose at Pose Me Amazing this month! 
The rest of the poses used in this photo and the coming "look" photos are all available from the new Color Me Project Event, they are Icons of Style... Perfect for use in Valentines and everyday photos!

Angel one, we shall refer to her as the Balloon Angel I think, is dressed all sweet and innocently in the outfit from Mag<3.B. The outfit includes dresses with and without hearts - still on the whole BAH HUMBUG for Valentines thing and sick of hearts so you got to see the dress without them hehe  - as well as the adorable socks, and the balloon you see Balloon Angel pose with in the group photo! To finish off the look, because I LOVE to accessorise,  I chose some amazingly cute, but basic heels from Milk Tea and a Divinity Puzzle Heart Necklace bearing the initials of my man and me... One look down, Four more to go hehe... 

Angel two is much more of the biker chick style that I seem to be surrounded by! Her dress is one from Immerschoen, that is available in 4 different styles, and match perfectly with the boots, which are also a new release from the store for Color Me Project!! I wanted to keep this look fairly simple, and I felt happy to have done that with the cute Librarian Chic Style from Exile and the adorable Persefona Poland Flower Hair Wreath! 

Moving swiftly through the list, the third Angel is a bit more of a naughty one! She wears a bodysuit made of ribbons, and accessorises them with a giant one in her hair as well as a ring and collar version from Persefona. The outfit is adorable, something I will definitely wear again, Jinx created this cute number and includes with it not just the body suit but a bow for your back, a hair bow and these killer bright red heels! 

Nearly there, almost done... Angel Four is back to the cutesy style, but she has a killer edge to her look in the form of these amazing heels from Sofie's Selection. They come in a variety of different colours... I personally love the silver and black pair but you could find any of these to your liking. I teamed them with socks from Lushish Catz - that you can get with black or red hearts - that I feel make the cute bright hearts pop to match the bright red colour of the Stormcrow Design's dress... I added just a touch of glamour to this look by wearing a tiara from Xen's Hats, which come in red or silver metals! 

Lastly but by no means least, Angel number 5 is the naughty Angel. Wearing nothing by some sexy lingerie from  Me Sew Sexy called Kiss Me! - which is the set that also includes the wings worn by all of my Angels - and a big fluffy warm Red Fur Coat - taken from skinned care bears so I'm told lol - from StormCrow Design's. She being a little naughty only wanted a pearl collar from Persefona and a pair of rose covered Jinx heels to finish her look!
