Card Magic for a Royal?!

I am currently in a VERY deep rut... I seem to put together an outfit that I LOVE, that I feel happy showing off and being seen in, and then when it comes down to actually taking the picture, I feel like I'm way off and it's not good enough. I don't know if I'm just in an unhappy place right now, or if I'm genuinely just over thinking that my pictures aren't what I want them to be and subconciously comparing them to others again... It's like being a magician that's rubbish at card tricks right now... 

I'd never be a good magician I am far too worried about putting on a good show and I'd end up being ill... I'm terrible at putting on a show, though saying that I put on a show of being happy and confident and smily most of the time and right now that mask has slipped... 
I feel like I'd be lost in my own mind, a Wonderland of sorts and I feel lost... Magic or no magic, I'm feeling lost... One thing I do know is that I can still put a kick ass outfit together, least I won't lose that skill I suppose, but then that's like putting on a mask and I'm very good at that... 
Knowing me, I'd be wandering down a Grand Hall - a backdrop from Paparazzi - heading to do a magic show for the queen and it would all go horribly wrong...

The Magic of the Cards

 It was so quiet at work today that I left early. It was SO quiet that it was weirdly quiet, and yes we expect  quiet period at this time of year, but it was INSANE... Like a strange magic spell has been cast over everything, and since it's raining people are just away in hiding...
Rudh decided to get home and check the cards for their magic, letting the light sparkle from her to the cards, which could only be read after the spirits had shuffled them well... 

It's the simplest of magic, the kind that even the most novice of witches should be able to conjour up with ease.. Every witch has their own colour depending on the magic they practice and their personality, and Rudh's happens to be green as she's calm, friendly and down-to-earth... He boyfriend Frank, that she keeps as a headless Frank - thanks to a decor prop from Krescendo called Franky Faces at Satan Inc until November 1st - under a glass cloche when she's working her magic because he has a tendency to be a bit skeptical... Which is funny considering he's a head in a jar... 
Anyway, once her magic began to sparkle nothing else but the cards mattered, the Occult Cards - from Tardfish in a Necromancer design - in her hand started swirling through the air as they began to slowly give her the information that she required for the day ahead tomorrow...
