Scallops on the Sea Floor

My mind is tired, and work has been making me even more tired... In times like this, as per usual, I tend to slip into a fantasy world where my mind doesn't need to focus on the normal, mundane and everyday, and I can have some fun that relaxes and is a distraction from Real Life... 
Fantasy folk seem to be the brightest and most colourful aspects of my mind, each picture is like a little look at my multiple personalities... Today we're heading under the sea once more... 

I've been al different kinds of fae folk by now, but I love to be either Mer or Fairy most... 
Today's Remi Mermaid is one of the stranger bottom dwellers that can be found in the underwater sands... Remi - a head from BeSpoke - is a guardian of the shellfish that likes to dress herself in many different guises... Some days she's sharp in razor shells, others it's a soft floaty skirt of seaweed but today she's decorated with pearls and shells of Scallops - like the adornment she's wearing from Faunus which can be found for the Mermay Hunt in the mainstore, and the gorgeous set of Merfolk fins, also from Faunus but available now at We Love RP - and I just love that high fantasy feeling... It's definitely helped me feel more happy to see...

Flowers, Shrooms and Fairies

I know that sometimes I can be fairly random when it comes to my blogging. Some days I've gone dark and others I'm a simple rainbow sparkle queen... I LOVE having variety, I love having the ability to be anything I want and that's why my blog is so therapeutic... 
Tonight I'm going to slip into my fairytale mood, and find myself a a cosy bed to sleep off the stresses of a long hard day. I'll curl up, sleep on a cosy bed of moss amidst the flowers where it's quiet and safe... 

The little fae in me never seems to look the same twice but there is one thing that I can always guarentee on... I LOVE to look cute and colourful... 
I'm so tired though that this seems like the perfect place to curl up and snooze. I love this Shroomy Bed - from Krescendo at FaMESHed - complete with these adorable little mushroom pals that are perfect to cuddle. The glade is softly scented by the beautiful paper flowers - from dust bunny - and the Giant Flowers - from PLAAKA, both of which are available at Anthem - which is filling the air with such a delicious perfume that the Sunny Flower Garden Friends - from Aardvark, also available at Anthem - have decided to join me and the mushrooms whilst we sleep...

In the Enchanted Hall

In the darkest parts of the woods, if you look carefully, you may be able to find one of the most special doors in the world. It is a door that the Fae Folk use to pass from our world into the fairytale realm... If you time it right, you may even get to see some of the magic folk using the door to visit our world. 
LOOK, LOOK, LOOK... There's one now!!!

The door is known as the Enchanted Hall - a gorgeous backdrop from Paparazzi by the way - is the portal, and randomly I caught sight of this pretty little sprite popping through for a visit... 
She's brought flowers and it seems like she's packed her own lunch, but it was most mesmirising to see how even though she seems enraptured by the pretty flowers, her extra eye seemed to be looking right at me!!!

Under the Constellations

Work in RL has been exceptionally slow as of late, and today it was mind-numbingly boring, so you won´t mind that now that I'm home all I want to do is slip into another fantasy world... Happiness on the TV and my mind in a fairy land... 
In fairyland the season is a little slow to change, maybe that reflects the weather in my RL now, but in the growing twilight as the stangely late snow falls, our little fairy friend hurries to find shelter in the warmth of her magical little home...

Dashing through the Outer Garden, she tries to escape the snowfall luckily protected under the Constellation Umbrella - from YOKAI - that she carries as a fae of the starlight, she wishes her dress was warmer..

The Goddess of Starlight

I've been in the darkness so long, but the goddesses in me are actually busting to have some more time in the limelight. The darkness is only willing to allow the light in, within the smallest of doses right now and so only the Goddess of the stars was able to make a break through. She brings with the smallest of twinkles, as she nurtures a star whose light is beginning to dim...

The goddess of the stars resembling something that looks almost fae like in appearance, she gathers a magic from the sparkling lights that seem to hover around her small frame. Gathering the light from La Luna Aura - a collection made up by The Horror for Anthem - the starlight sparkles gathering around her, drawn to her aura... Healing the Falling Star - from STOIC - with her light...

Fairy Tears Sparkle!

I'm feeling a little sleepy, but kinda playful so I decided to unleash my inner fantasy being... Not a mermaid this time, but my Fairy is being let out to play. She's hungry and out on the hunt for food! 
What do fairies eat though? In this neck of the Fairy Realm woods, it's all about survival of the fittest. Kill or be killed, eat or be eaten... Due to her size, Rudh Fae is the top of the fairy food chain, and she's hungry for a little sparkly treat! 

Those teeny little fairies - like the one that she's chewing on from Epic - are crunchy and full of glittery vitamins. Chewy, yummy, delicious little fairy snacks... 
The entire reason that this post came about was all because of the fabulous Glitter Tears from Misschevious - that you can grab now at Fluffy Kawaii - she's eaten so many fairies she's leaking sparkles all over Storybook Forest...

Fairy in the Giant's Garden

I'm feeling in a bit of a fantasy, fairytale kinda mood today. Maybe it's because it's my day off but I'm kinda happy and feeling like I want to dance around all day, like a happy little fairy!
Rudh found herself going exploring a little today, wandering through the garden of giants, a feeling which was emphasized by the fact that I wanted to wear fairy wings and look pretty... 
I found an adorable little sunny spot in the corner of the garden, snuggled into the flower pot and sat enjoying the warming rays of the sun... 

The sunflower pot seat is one of my new favourite Garden furnishing items... Normally my Garden is a bit more of a realistic farm style, but I couldn't resist this chair. It's a Violetility "Potted Chair" - which is available until the end of today for Palette, but should hopefully go back to a normal release price once the event is over. 
Of course, it brought out the inner Fairy in me, and well, any excuse for a game of dress up hehe...

Cake Dreamy Doll... Better then Barbie!

It's that time of the year again. Christmas - and Sinterklaas in Holland - have officially taken over, and there are toy adverts EVERYWHERE! Gone are the days when we had a chance to get over one holiday before moving into the next, it's like the blink of an eye and on to the next. 
Now is the time that Santa is starting to make sure he has all of his toys ready for the good girls and boys, and every year there seems to be a new, big, MUST HAVE...

Pandora's Monsters need a Snack

The monsters have been released from this month's Pandora's Box and they are HUNGRY... 
What do monsters eat I wonder? I guess it depends on the Monster... I was wandering around in the woods of Ironwood Hills and I caught one of the Monsters of Pandora's Box enjoying a little snackette... Fairies!!!!!

Her sun gold hair that's braided and wrapped around her large dark antlers - thanks to the Aysdora add-on from FABIA - and her pretty floral adornments - from LODE and Ama - give the impression that this is a sweet gentle forest spirit. Yet the way that she's biting into that Fairy, not to mention the almost snake-like eyes - which come with the Make-Up from Vengeful Threads in this month's Pandora's Box - give a totally different perception upon closer inspection.
Now because this is a Pandora's Box post... You may want a reminder about Pandora's Box... As a basic reminder, the best place to go to sign up for your box is the Pandora's Box HQ. Now that the box has been opened the cost will be 2500L, which will allow you to join the group and get your box - bear in mind though that you only have until May 30th to do so - and all those wonderful goodies will be yours. Then after the last day in May the group will be emptied and sign up begins for the following month's box - which if you join the group before the release date will be 1500L! I'm going Shopping...

Ooooh I'm awake, and at work, not bad for just before 8AM on a Monday morning, BUT I have time for a quick cuppa and the chance to write something to you... I doubt this will be my first and only post for today, but who knows... Maybe I will get really busy, I doubt it but there is a possibility!
I wasn't wrong... I started this post at 8ish and it's already just gone 10AM lol... Where the heck did that time go? It's way too busy for a Monday Morning... I have things to tell you hehe...
Let's just talk about it and hope that I get a chance to finish it... I want to tell you about my shopping trip this weekend!!

The shopping I'm talking about right now is in RL - I do so much shopping SL, the conversation would last for ever hehe - and I never normally talk about RL shopping so I NEED to share this with you lol... Forgive me if you don't like it!
Yesterday I went to the BESTEST sale of the year... Living in Holland, English books are expensive, but there is a store called the American Book Centre that has a special sale once or twice a year. At this sale books are sold by the kilo! I bought 6 kilos, spent 30 Euros and saved myself a total of 180 Euros from the original book prices - that's $34 and $204 in USD for those of you that need a conversion!
Anyone who knows Rudh by now, would know she's a shopping demon, but in RL at the book sale it was apparent that it's not limited to SL...
I got all dressed up for a SL shopping trip this weekend too hehe...
My top was a past release from DirtyStories, and OK it's a little bit rude but it was perfect for what I wanted it to say when I put it on LOL... I wore it with a pair of the SPIRIT store's Daydreem Shorts, for a relaxed and comfortable yet still stylish look. Finally accessorising with a pair of Creepy Dorothy Gales from Epic, a Yummy Geometric Necklace and as a final touch one of the Remarkable Oblivion Chomp Purses that I simply HAD to have!
Perfectly ready for a SL shopping trip now my RL one is done!
