Sweet as Candy

I was watching random pop music videos on YouTube and randomly stumbled upon Katy Perry´s California Girls video... I had a very instant craving for Candy, and that seemed to inspire me and my blogging choices today... I HAD TO HAVE CANDY, I needed to be surrounded by something super sweet, and I'll be honest, it was fun to get a little candylicious...

The Candy Demon that she is cannot get her hands on enough delicious candy... There's cotton candy, fizzy sodas and even some delicious Mui Galactica Popsicles... Her happiness shining through her sparkling little "Demonia" horns - from LuluB - she's a happy demon now she's full of Candy...

A Flash of Magic

The holiday magic is over now, tomorrow I am heading back to work and having to face reality again... Back to being cheesy and dealing with people, part of me says that I really wanna go back but the other half of me says it's time to start getting on with things again. 
It's also a new year and so I feel like creating a new profile picture for myself, something that clings onto the magic... 

I think I may have been able to do that, maybe just a little bit... The sparkles and the stars and the pretty rainbow neon! 
A few sparkles and my favourite colour Yellow - I LOVE yellow, it's such a happy colour even though I usually dress myself in black! The warm yellow sweater from Decoy is soooo cosy, and it matched the colours of the star ornaments perfectly!

A Thug Wife's Bad Language

She's the secretary of a biker club, the wife of an MC President, and is well... A little deranged sometimes. A kinky girl, a dark macabre kinda girl, and one that knows people who shouldn't be messed with, but does that make Rudh a bit of a Bad Ass? 
Honestly, as of late, I feel anything but bad ass... I feel more like I've been walked all over and stomped into a pulp because of other people's actions, but the bad ass in me is determined not to let that bring her down, this time! 
Instead, she's going to step back and take a breath. Light herself a cigarette and flick the bird at the pathetic people who walked out of her life for messed up reasons and move on... 

My big sister, the awesome Racey of Ghost Bullys MC, has been designing stuff in her little store - Pretty Sexy Things - for a while and sometimes, when I'm a really good girl I get magical gifts appearing in my grubby little hands...

Angels of Dreams

It's almost time for bed in Holland and that mean's it's nearly time to slip into dreamland. 
Today in dreamland, there are angels amongst the clouds, and puppies too!!! I hope that it's a nice dream with angels and puppies, but who knows, I mean Rudh has always been a bit of a naughty Angel... 

THERE IS FLYING ANGEL PUPPIES IN MY DREAM TOO!!!! OOOOOOOOH!!!! 
These adorable angel puppies are in fact the Flutterpups from Lassitude & Ennui, which are available until August 31st at The Gacha Garden. They come in a collection of different colours including some really pretty fairy styles but I really loved the natural looking ones... 
Floating on a dream cloud - a pose from Image Essentials by the way - these little angels are going to help me sleep but I worry about what happens when the doggies need to pee!

Rocky Horror Rudh Show

I don't know if you're like me, and you may have realised this before, but I am a little bit addicted to Gachas and the events that contain them... The Arcade being the worst - or perhaps the best - of them. Each round I always find there is something I HAVE to have, and this current round is no different.
This time one of my all time favourite - and possibly one of the cheesiest cult movies - ever was represented with a collection in a Gacha that made me more than a little excited... People I was talking to were thinking it was a really weird collection, until I mentioned what it was and even then they did not seem all that excited... I on the other hand was in fits, I had to have it all, and once I had it, it was time to play dress-up...

The movie in question is one called "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" - a movie that earnt itself a cult like following due to the crazy antics of the very memorable characters and a cheesy cool soundtrack. Trust me, if you've ever danced the "Time Warp" you know of this movie LOL... Now OK I am on a ramble and I am so excited, all because of The Arcade release from random.Matter. The release is the Frankenstein Place Gacha Collection, and includes awesome pieces such as the special lab levers, the birthing chamber of Rocky and even a rug that will guide you through the Time Warp Dance steps... I was SOOOOO Excited by this release - so thank you to the minds behind random.Matter - and I've not GOT to find a place in my house for a permanent lab layout hehe...
While I decorate though I put myself together a Rudhish outfit in a "Columbia" Style... A dress from sYs at the last round of Collabor88 and a pair of cute ankle boots from lassitude & ennui, along with some of the accessories from the random.Matter set! It was PERFECT!

Without Him Here!

Yesterday was EPIC... I turned 10 and entered the realm of the SecondLife Dinosaurs... 
Everything about yesterday was AWESOME though - aside from a drama hiccup that will remain forgotten because I cannot handle that kind of thought process right now - and I had the best present from my MC family... I'll tell you more about that in a minute, but there was one thing missing yesterday. One of the most important things that my 10 years in SL have brought me... HELLBONE!

HellBone is away on a road-trip with some of his RL Brothers and Sisters of the B.A.C.A, and he's left me at home in Holland. It was very strange not having him there with me whilst I celebrated such an important rezday, but we called and texted - and that is why this pose from Come Soon feels so perfect right now, he's away but I can still talk to him! The pose is a Come Soon called Broken - it was a release for the Manga Fair and I am hoping that it has been placed at the main store now that the event has closed. This pose as per usual with Come Soon poses includes a Full Scene, but I have to admit to you now that I did change up the furniture in the scene just a little bit! 
BUT on to the festivities... The MC hired an awesome tribute band we know, High Octane Tributes, to perform as Five Finger Death Punch - who aside from the Viking Cellists are my absolute favourites!

I stayed up far too late last night and as a result this morning I feel like I'm hungover LOL... Still I had and amazing time, and I am going to leave you now with a little FFDP!!!

Just another of Master's Discarded Dolls

Monday Morning... I had planned to do something light and cheerful yesterday when I was making sure that I had posts available to work on whilst I was supposedly "working", yet nothing ever works out exactly the way you plan it, and today my mood isn't quite what it should be. I don't feel like happy and sparkles this morning, I feel like I'm left-behind, lost and forgotten... Yesterday's news! Thrown into a forgotten room, with all of the other old dollies...

Felt like this yesterday too, and tried to hide it behind a facade of cheery bubbliness, but that didn't work out so well and I ended up crashing... HARD!  It's down to a combination of that feeling of loneliness, of not being good enough, and of pushing myself too hard, add to that things like financial concerns and homesickness, and you have a very horrible combination... I need someone to look after me, Hell tries but he's a little bit clueless and I don't really have the strength to reach out and get him to notice at the moment... Still enough of the rambling, I'm sure you didn't come here to read my woes, you came to see a pretty picture and learn about my craziness that I put into it right?!
The picture today was actually inspired by the amazing mannequins - rather than my mood - and they were a collection that I simply had to have... The Spook Show Mannequins, are a part of the Remarkable Oblivion Epiphany Gacha collection, and each of these gorgeous dolls come with their own name and seeminly their own dead doll personality... They looked perfect in this room - the only one missing is actually taking a bath in the bathroom - but before I could even sit Rudh in amongst them the idea in my head was that she was one of Master's Discarded Dolls - used and shut away, left to fade and go dusty... The room is filled with forgotten and morbid things, like her somewhat scary Nailbed, and the Broken Mirror - thanks Shiny by the way - with a subtle hint to the rooms sordid past still hanging on the wall...
Wow I've written a happy post today... Sorry about that... I guess the only thing left for me to do is try to cheer myself up a little... I know of  a song that totally fits with the nature of this post, it's one by my favourite Viking Cellists with vocals from Christina Scabbia, called S.O.S (Anything but Love)... It fits the photo, and because it is has the Viking Cellists in it, it makes me smile...

Anything that will make me smile today is a good thing, right?!

Tears on Doll Faces

Being a woman can and does often have it's privileges... We get the miracle of childbirth, the amazing ability to become a superwoman with the ability to hear things we aren't meant to hear and see things we aren't meant to see, and heck even in SL women have more... Ask those men into fashion about shopping and I guarantee they will complain about how many events cater to women more than men! Yet one of the biggest downsides to being a woman is our monthly visit from mother nature... I'm not going to talk about it too much - I don't want any male readers to get squeamish, as I know that there are some people who still do - but seriously, you'd think in this day and age when cures are being sought for EVERYTHING, that someone somewhere could find a cure for period pain?! PLEASE?!
I want to curl up and cry... I'll let Rudh do the crying for me though...  

LOL Never do I look this glamorous when I do cry!! There's not enough redness, puffiness, runny nosing going on here, and she is far too pretty even when she's like me should be in a foetal position LOL... 
Rudh though cannot help it, she was made this way... Barbie wouldn't look like a mess when she cried and so neither will Rudh LOL... 
Moping at the windows - of a location that happens to be Dreams Garden - she looks the epitome of vintage Hollywood glamour. Draped in her gorgeous black silk Open Robe - from tres blah - her inky mascara tears soak her cheeks - thanks to Izzie's tears appliers, which yes can be used on LOGO heads obviously! 
I love everything about this look - seeing Rudh cry makes me feel a little better, is that weird?! - but my absolute favourite piece is this amazing necklace from random.Matter. The Tegrin "Crybaby" necklace is just awesome, and it makes me smile to think that I now have necklaces of doll hands, feet and even faces hehe... Call me crazy but it I just love that kinda thing! These necklaces can be bought at the new Dreamful event - which is a mixture of stuff for adults and kiddies - until July 22nd, and if you aren't interested in my chosen dolly face there are others to choose from so don't let the tears pass you by!! 

Right now, it's going to be a warm day in Holland... But I am contemplating a hot water bottle and some strong painkillers, so I think I'll call this post done and will catchyalater!

Bad Wolf

I'm at the end of my fuse with someone in RL and so I am trying to remain calm and keep my cool. This person is my boss. If I lose my head and tell him how I really feel then I will lose my job... I need to funnel my frustrations into something productive, so if you see me looking more dead than I have for a while you can understand why... Starting from today, the dead girl in me may be more predominant than she has been of late! 
I put on a random collection of things and loved how they looked... Perhaps it will be a new profile picture, I'm not sure... But I loved it and had to share, just to vent some of my frustrated energy... 

What started out as me playing with the amazing "Curse of Cain" wound from CURELESS - available until June 18th at SaNaRae by the way - somehow saw me thinking that a hood with Kitten ears was a good idea to go along with it?! 
Then while on the subject of CURELESS, I wrapped some of their Barbed Wire around my head, and held it down with my Creepy Ghoul Teeth - from Axix. Never fear though I didn't through away my straight pretty teeth, I'm wearing those around my neck thanks to the Baroness Necklaces from random.Matter. 
I guess when I step back and look at it, I may have been channelling some kind of bad wolf?! A pissed off demonic wolf that got caught in barbed wire in the woods maybe? 
It feels a little better now that I've been creative, but dammit I have more to come lol...

Princess of Dragons...

I tend to be one of those people that is a little optimistic about the things that I do in life. I am one of those "I'll give it a try" type people, even if I back those thoughts up with thoughts of doubt... Sometimes I am right and you get no response to the situation, but others there is a surprise that brings a smile to your face.
The fantasy lover in me was drawn out recently, and I have to say I have missed working on something a little more fantasy. It started with a dress - themed for the Game of Thrones, which I admit I know NOTHING about - and finished with a tiny little dragon in a teacup hehe... Let the imagination commence as the Dragon Princess saves a baby dragon from a dark underground world! 

The location is amazing, one of those really pretty Role Play sims that I initially thought wouldn't let people in... BUT... They have an observer tag that you can wear and I slipped that on before going exploring, and I was hoping that so long as I stayed out of the way of the action I'd not bother anyone... I'd recommend the sim for fantasy photography - it's Mysts of EYR - and I know that I will definitely be going back to take more photos... It is gorgeous! 
The entire reason for the dress and letting my imagination run wild however, not to mention my opening ramble, is that recently I was digging around, looking to see if anyone was accepting new bloggers - I wanted to try my luck and see if I had what it takes... One of those places was Petite Mort. NEVER in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be given a shot, especially considering I hadn't ever blogged their creations before, but OH MY GOD their designs are SO pretty and so varied! 
This dress is one from Petite Mort that you can grab for yourself at the latest round of The Instruments, which this month has a Game of Thrones theme. I didn't realise at the time I was taking this picture too but there is someone linked with Dragons in the Game of Thrones - I really may be the only person on the planet that has no idea, and I'm sorry LOL - but the dragon I rescued needed to be freed... I had no way of getting him out except putting him in my tea cup! You can find these dragons - and the matching horns - at the latest Kawaii Project from darkenedStare! 
One more thing before I sign off though, I wanted to include a close-up picture which you can see below, just to show off some of the accessorising I did in this fantasy look... LODE's Violet Wreath looked great with the horns, and the eyes that seemed to change as soon as I reached for the dragon. There was a SongBird calling "Soothsayer" nearby, not sure if that was related, but my eyes sure did itch hehe...

That Late Night Message...

A dark, warm night - one of those in which the thought alone of laying under the blankets beings you out in a sweat - and you are restless... The only sounds are the settling of the house in the dark, and the noises of the night outside your window...
You miss him, you miss the way it feels to be near him, the way he smells, the way he sounds as he slept...
As if by magic, a shrill cry and the sound of vibration breaks the silence as a bright glow lights the pillow beside you. At first you feel a sense of shock, you're ripped from your dreams of when the bed held two, and you take a few seconds to recover. Yet you snake your hand across the pillows, and slowly bring your phone to life - a name and a message appear on the screen, and suddenly all thoughts of restlessness leave you... You're missed, you're not alone, and what's more someone is hungry for you...
As the atmosphere in the room changes, all because of a few little words on a screen, suddenly the thought of being in a sweat does not seem so bad...

I went off into a little fantasy world writing this, you may be able to tell, but I used to really love that feeling of getting a late night message from a guy you'd been flirting with... The smile that it created always sent me to sleep with sweet dreams! It's still exciting to receive flirtatious messages, no matter if they are as text messages or in SL... Makes a girl feel like someone has seen her sparkle!
Now I have a confession to make, this pose is actually a couple pose from Come Soon - I really hope that I don't get into trouble for taking it out of context like this... Parties need Sparkles and Flowers

Another Monday can only mean one thing... It's a back to work day! By now you might have guessed that I am not overly happy in my job anymore, in fact I will let you all know that my job is a major reason as to why I am so depressed at the moment... I've spent enough time crying though, so today I am going to try to think of other things, nicer things, like having a party with you... That sounds like a fun idea right?!
Let's have a little party, something magical, something pretty, something to make me smile on a day when I feel like I'm stuck in Hell! We need some yummy food and lots of pretty decór...

OK, OK I went a little overboard with food and decór but like I said, stuck in Hell, I need something to make me feel happier... This makes me feel marginally happier... Now if I could only have it in RL please?!
Let's start by talking about the pretty things and then move onto the yummy things... To decorate I wanted flowers and sparkles... My invited guests dressed in their finest flower costumes - yes the guests were bears from Boogers - and brought me a bunch of beautiful Apple Fall roses, but it was the Balloons that drew most of my attention! I'd seen these on blogs and at Collabor88, but when I pulled out the pastel Fairylight Balloons from Half-Deer I was in love... Sparkles and prettiness, what is there not to love about these balloons?! I might have to go back for more in different colours!
I went a little bit bonkers on the catering side of things, especially since my guests don't seem to want to eat that much. Three different things to drink - milk, coffee and an awesomely zingy lemonade that I had specially selected from tres blah - and lots of bad for me things to eat too!
Everything was ready, except for me, so I slipped into a very pretty kitty dress, a Tied Cocoon Dress in yellow, from {sallie} and was ready to play the perfect hostess.
I now just need to hope that my day goes as well as my party planning skills... Or someone is going to be getting to see the angry monster side of this pretty party planner...

On the Catwalk

Out of the snow and into the limelight, I'm taking a stroll of a different kind today... A walk down the runway. The Catwalk was calling to me... I was once told that I was too fat to be a SL model and that I'd have to change my shape entirely, since meeting one of my MC Sisters - Solde - I can believe that this was true, her modelling shape is kinda scary! Yet it never stops a girl from fantasising about the glamorous lifestyle every now and then! 

Today's outfit is a bit of a Look-of-the-Day kinda deal, but it was more that I wanted to show off this awesome pose prop from Image Essentials! The Runway Pose Prop was an event release - which I am late in getting out - BUT you will still be able to pick it up at the Image Essentials main store! It has a collection of poses within the prop so you can strut your stuff, or if you're feeling brave you can freestyle on the catwalk itself, but this is such a useful and fun photography tool especially for anyone that loves to model! 
As for my look of the day, it's made up of pieces that were recent event releases and you will still be able to catch these at main stores, but I am late with bringing them to your attention so I am sorry for that. I have some adorable Coven Heels from a recent Epiphany gacha that Reign put out, I'm also accessorising with a Leather Bone Bag from Zenith - which was a past Epiphany gacha release too! Whilst talking accessories let me drag your eyes up to my neck and point out the super cute Greymark Necklace from random.Matter, and the Afterlife collar from DAZED. Then my outfit, this was a past release from trés blah, and it comes in two separate parts - of which you have various colours to choose from - but the Vinyl Pants and Devon Tank are a combination made in heaven... Perhaps a little warmer kind of heaven than I'm in right now but you get the idea lol... Finally my hair is something totally new... It's available until November 30th at We <3 RP in the Exile Booth... 
I'm not so good at writing look of the day posts, I really don't think I could be a fashionista blogger... I try, I fail, let's move on LOL...

New Chairs from NEWCHURCH

Recently one of my sisters in the MC, lil Fyre, was talking to me about a store she'd started working for... A fairly new on the SL scene furniture store called NEWCHURCH. It was a store I'd never heard of, but she said she'd been given the task of promoting the store... 
Thank you to Victor - NEWCHURCH's owner - for allowing me the honour of being able to blog one of his creations. I have to admit that the furniture style is not really to my taste - it's all fairly realistic looking and I am a freak for the whimsical - BUT it is very well made, the textures are brilliant and I think that NEWCHURCH could be a rising star in the furniture world of SL... 

The store isn't huge but all of the pieces are fairly cute, and I can imagine that they would work well in any "realistic" style home... When I checked out the store, I chose a piece that I loved both for the texture and the shape, although it might have been more suited to a tropical beach that my weed filled smoky room! It's like a polar opposite of my look and accessories today, and I love that I can be so bi-polar in one photo hehe... 
I accessorised the shot with some of my Monies Smuggling Bears from Bokeh and a few joints from BUENO... Don't touch my joints, I've got a gun and I'm not afraid to use it! The gun comes with my new wig from [taketomi]...

Eye Eye!!

I know that Halloween is now over, and I know that there have been so many monstrous looks on my blog this past month, but I want to let you know now that they will not be stopping just yet... I have plans and MUCH more to share with you LOL... So hold on to your hats, the Monsters are still coming! 
You should know me by now, I LOVE playing dress-up, this month a lot of my monsters have been kinda dark but there are also a few light comical monster mes that should be shared with you... LOL This one could fit in at my favourite - wish I'd had them instead of stupid Barbie when I was a kid - RL Doll Range, Monster High! I'd fit right in with this look I'm sure hehe... 

The location - Halloween Town - was totally perfect for this photo backdrop... Unfortunately the sim is no longer available to visit as the team behind this location have stripped it bare and started to work on their Christmas Extravaganza! I cannot wait to see that, the thought that Christmas is coming so fast totally scares me but hey ho... 
With her Just for Kicks Hairstyle - a Clawtooth original - and her dripping dolly wounds - some of my favourite scars from antielle - this little Cyclops Monster is really rocking the shocking red and green combination! I LOVE THE COMBINATION lol... The shocking green of this Soul Designs "Meghan" Split Tank when I put it with the red hair and then accessorised it with this adorable Eyeball Bag and pair of crimson Mina Heels from Reign, brought such a huge smile to my face... The icing on the cake however was this AMAZING Cyclops Mask... It's a Freebie - believe it or not - from Schadenfreude for the Trunk or Treat event, and the eye can be changed to a selection of different colours! Green had to be the colour I chose but the red looks scary too!! Such an awesome free gift - free is such a wonderful word isn't it! What an awesome way to start a week!
Then seeing her strut around this adorable little Halloween Town was just perfect!!! I couldn't help but share it with you!!!

Dancing with the new Mesh Hell

I'm not sure if I mentioned it yet, but I've been through the change recently... I was never really that bothered about thinking of changing to a mesh body, I wanted the kinks to be ironed out so that there was less of a transitional trouble, BUT I fell in love with some lingerie from erratic that was made specifically for a mesh body and HAD to test the body out... I LOVE IT... I'm a Maitreya girl! I know my shape is my own but the butt on this Barbie doll now is freaking awesome!!!
It's also well past due that I had a photo taken with my hubby, HellBone, so here's the picture the story to follow... Well let's just say that recently something very bizarre happened... I think I slipped into the Twilight Zone...

Basically in the next week or so my SL Sister Solde is getting married, and HellBone was asked to be one of the Groomsmen by her fiancé and fellow Gator Kris... Nothing strange in that I hear you say, but it is more what happened regarding the outfit that he will have to wear that is strange. Hell is the king of not changing much about his avatar... It's been the same since we met with just minor tweaks to hair and clothing once a year or so, but with Solde and Kris' wedding coming, he was informed that he would need to wear SLINK hands...
He became hooked on the Mesh Body Parts... Not a week later - after the release of the SLINK Male Body... HellBone was buying a new skin and tattoos and yes, a MESH BODY!! I almost fainted... Solde is a miracle worker!! It happened without fights, without stress and he was even so excited about the body that it would be the last thing he talked about at night... FOR DAYS!
If you want to know any information about the things that Hell is wearing please ask me, but for me I can share with you my outfit list... I LOVE this look I was wearing... Have to share a front view too hehe...

Oh my god though... Solde... You missus are a miracle worker!
