Spoilt Little Princess

I would never fully admit to being a girlie girl... I love being a dead dolly, and I love the idea of being a Disney Princess, but I'm never the kind of girl to say she's girlie. I look at friends being pretty and girlie and think, hmm I could do that, but it never really pans out the way I intend it to. There's always an element of the naughty, the depraved or the weird in there somewhere... 
I bought some gorgeous lingerie, and wanted to share it, but once again it went from being about the pretty girlie, to being a little bit of a naughty spoilt princess!

Such a spoilt brat she is... I wonder if there is anyone out there that could control her?! 
Here we were, trying to get her ready for a ball in a dressing room at Le Salon of Saint LaCroix and all the spoilt little brat can do is parade round the room wearing nothing but her BigBeautifulDoll designer lingerie and heels, cussing at everyone around that it's the wrong f***in' tiara. The tiara in question if gorgeous though, it's a Blueberry Iconic Doll Tiara. 
Maybe some day the spoilt princess will be happy? Maybe some day I'll find someone to control her?! Till that day, I better go find the right tiara!

Tattoos on a Biker Chick

One of my favourite things about SL is that I can be covered in tattoos and scars... I'm never normally seen without at least one scar on my face and my major tattoo all over my torso and arms, but the reason I love them so much here is possibly because I'm too chicken to have anything done in RL. I want a RL tattoo, I have the idea in my mind, and am in talks with a friend of HellBone's to possibly get one, but when it comes to Rudh, I have no problem covering her in tattoos because, well, Pain Free!!! 

I've worn tattoos for a long while now, and I will admit that I tend to be a little picky about them... I LOVE Mandala style tattoos, don't ask me why, I know there are so many different styles out there and it's just the one that I seem most in love with. There are also a LOT of stores that cater to my favourite style tattoos, but I have to say that I am always drawn back to the tattoos at White Widow. I love their quality, and designs, and this "Spotlight" Tattoo is one that I have worn for a long while now. It was exciting to think about tattoos, when I discovered this awesome little tattoo shop at TM8, while looking for a location to show off my adorable new top, and tease with the cute new pants too... 
The tops of these pants that you can see are a bit of a tease I know, they are a new release from WONDERLOST at the Vintage Fair, and I'm hoping to be able to show you them full length sometime soon LOL... It was the top though that I really wanted to share with you right now. It's a new release from Nightmare - which can be picked up at the main store - and it's cute with the top and bra combination. The Bra comes in a few different colours, and the tops have varying things written on them, many of them labels for MC members, such as President, Sgt@Arms and Prospect. I've asked Nightmare's owner if there will ever be a Secretary one added because well, that's the one I really need, but for now being labelled an asshole works because it makes me laugh! Many people would probably agree with it! I'm hoping there are at least a few that wouldn't?! 
Plus it's really handy to show off all that extra space which would be perfect for a new tattoo... What should I get I wonder?!

They Dance The Movement

I don't very often get a chance to blog pictures of other people, and spend far too much time looking at my own face while I'm posing. I also tend to have a bit of an issue sometimes when I am being sent couple poses... HellBone hates standing still for very long and so finding someone to pose with me can be a little difficult at times LOL. 
Yet a few days ago while standing around doing nothing with my good friends Lilian and Chopper, and she was showing off the new dress that she had on, I hit upon an idea... POSING TIME!

Now, even though they are not a couple, Lil and Chopper were willing to help me out in a very romantic pose. The new pose by Come Soon is called The Movement, and it's a brief pause in a somewhat sensual dance. This pose is a Limited Edition, available at the latest but soon to end round of Cosmopolitan, so if you want it you need to get over there soon!
I love the way that this picture worked out, and I really enjoyed having models to play with... There will be more coming like this, if I can find the models LOL...

The Intrigue of the Breakfast

A few nights ago I took some time for myself and had a very lazy evening, I sat watching Supernatural under a blanket with a lot of cups of tea and felt very pleased with myself... Now I'm kinda regretting that a little bit, you know when you get too much sleep you often feel worse?! Well that's how I feel right now, and I really want to go back to my bed and stay there lol...
Of course, as per usual though, when I say to Rudh we are going to stay in bed all day, she instantly goes down a far more glamorous route than I was thinking...

Draped in a fur shawl and nothing much else, she lounges in her "Furry Nothing" - from Kaithleen's at Cosmopolitan until January 15th - in a house that's not her own - but is in fact a Nerite's Folly House from Scarlet Creative - not to mention a bed that's not her own either - from brocante at this month's FaMESHed - and from the looks of it she wasn't there alone... Well Rudh dear you are clearly amassing a list of the Dun Dun Dunnnnnnnnns. At least who ever it was brought you breakfast in bed, it's hard to get HellBone to even bring me coffee in bed at the best of times LOL.

Thanksgiving À La Rudh!

Although it's not something that I celebrate, today is Thanksgiving for the American Nation. It's not something that I have ever really paid all that much attention to, or even thought about, but as all of Secondlife seems to go Thanksgiving Crazy once a year I cannot help but join in the festivities sometimes. Even if in my case it is only the craziness of the Black Friday Sales. 
Still I wanted to share with you what a Thanksgiving dinner may be like with the non-American part of the Gators MC... HellBone and I are obviously spending today as a normal day, but Lil came over for a little dinner at our place... 

The resulting chaos was pure Gator craziness!!! 
I was so hungry that I couldn't resist getting into the Turkey before anyone else had a change to even think about eating any of it... Stuffing is the best bit! I had to have some before the others took it all! As you can tell by the look on Lil's face she was more than a little shocked LOL... 
The table is actually a rather naughty prop from Lewd - buyers beware, when it says glazing the ham you may not want to eat a glazed ham again LOL - but this "Forced Feast" is actually a group freebie for a few days, until it becomes an actual on sale item! 
The rest of the décor in the house is actually the most amazingly comfy looking Autumn Nest Chair from Violetility - and a rug which you can just see peeping out under the table. These things are all on sale at the current round of Cosmopolitan, and they make such snugly looking Autumn home cosiness! OH AND just so everyone is aware, because I've mentioned the craziness of the "Black Friday Sales" already... Violetility is having a sale at their mainstore! DON'T MISS THIS ONE! 
If you celebrate this particular holiday, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Watch out for the strange blur of someone moving fast at the Black Friday Sales... That may just be me!!!

Dragons of the Future

Yesterday I was talking about history and letting it bring out the inner geek in me a little but today I am looking forward... Thinking about the future... There is so many things happening over the next couple of months that I feel it's going to be crazy busy, but OK I know that's not that far into the future LOL...
Now when I am looking for futuristic atmosphere in SL I tend to think of one awesome location. As a Photographer it's definitely been a go-to location for futuristic, and I say been because the future of this location seems to be on the brink of a goodbye. I heard somewhere that Insilico is closing... So I wanted to take one last trip over and say thank you...

It's been a great location for taking photos in, and if it's true about the closure then I for one am sorry to see it go. Insilico has been around for a long while now and it's always sad to see such well created sims disappear!
Of course when I was there I had to dress the part... My future, for Rudh at least, may look a little something like this LOL...
Yes she still has barely any clothing on, but that's the fault of this really cute "Kathy" Top - from JF Design at anyBody - which went so well with the futuristic Rudh's "Vial Mask" - shown here in yellow, but available in a range of different colours - from Violetility. I know that this mask was a past event release, and yes the event is over and I am late with sharing it, but it's available at the mainstore so no need to panic - at least not for you, I might get in trouble for being late with it LOL...
So in the future there will be a need for gas masks like this, least that's the way I feel the world is heading lol, but there will also be dragons. I've had dragons through my entire history of being Rudh, and I doubt they will ever fully leave me, I cannot see a future without dragons, even if they are just a teeny pet one - like this one from lassitude & ennui at The Gacha Garden.

Rudhie de los Muertos

After Halloween comes the Day of the Dead - although I know the festival stretches from October 31st till November 2nd, so don't be mad at me for my statement LOL - the day that those of a Mexican culture celebrate the dead... Gone are the dark, depraved and scary of yesterday's Halloween events and in it's place are the bright Sugar Skulls, flowers and the burst of colour that marks a celebration of the lives that are being remembered!
Now I LOVE the dark and macabre events of Halloween but the inner rainbow freak is screaming for joy today as its all about colours...

I'd seen this photo location set up at my favourite spot for taking pictures in - the WHOLE WHEAT Landscaping & Creation location - and as soon as I remembered the date I was like a kid in a candy store dancing around there taking photos of myself in all kinds of Dia de los Muertos style poses!
Now I know that a lot of people focus on the Sugar Skulls when they think of the Day of the Dead, but for this once I've decided that flowers and skulls are the way to go! When I combined this amazing Southern Magnolia Wreath - from LODE who I feel make some of the best flowers in SL - with the cool but cute Human Skull Mask from PSYCHO.Byts - that you can grab at the Bloody Horror Fair until November 10th - I was a little excited, add to that the Halloween Group Gift Hair from Wasabi Pills and Rudh was a very very happy little dolly...
I mean she was happy anyway, being a Living Dead Dolly but today it's Dia de los Muertos and she's going to live it up rainbow style!!!

Funny Noses

Halloween being on a Monday this year makes party planning very difficult but I guess that is what the weekend is good for... Two whole days to do nothing but get into the Halloween Spirit, which I will most definitely be doing with my MC Family this evening as we host a Rob Zombie Tribute show at our Halloween Maze! Everyone is welcome to come and join us with Mr Zombie! 
Though there is so much party prep that needs to be done... Setting out yummy tricks and treats, decorating - although I won't need to do much of that seeing as we're already in Pet Sematary - and of course finding a costume, it all takes time!!! 

I went looking for inspiration and was lucky enough to find some at the amazing WHOLE WHEAT - love this place - where the Halloween party snacks table just looked far too yummy, and while I was out shopping for Halloween décor - because a girl can NEVER have enough - I found these amzing FREE - such a lovely word isn't it? - Funny Noses from Lost Junction at Trunk or Treat 2016... It's setting the mood of the day for me I feel!! 
Still, I guess I better get serious and start looking for a real costume LOL...

Home for the Holidays

Like every family gathering, there is always a little feeling of pensiveness as you wander up the driveway towards your family home... For Living Dead Rudhie that feeling is always going to be a little more dangerous, I mean her family are some creepy and horrifying monsters! I LOVE Halloween and all it's monstrous beings! 
Still Rudhie is on her way home for the holidays, and I wonder what tricks and treats lay in store for her when she steps foot into the family home! 

As much as I'd love to be able to call this place home, I really have to admit that I cannot... This is the gorgeous Crowley Hall Mansion on Foggy Hill Island, a place that is well worth a visit if you're looking for something a little creepy to do this Halloween! 
She dressed up all pretty for the family gathering, wearing a lovely little dress - which is actually the October group gift - from Petite Mort, with her travelling boots - from Reign - and hat - that is attached to her Besom "Wish" Hair! 
Armed with my overnight bag, stuffed full of Halloween Candies and my faithful Skeledog I'm about to ring the bell!

I'm screaming for Ice Cream!

Tis going to be a busy day today for me... Two jobs and a Gator meeting on top, but aside from that because let's face it that's pretty much normal for me now, but I'm also going to be getting into a fight for some concert tickets and that always puts me on edge LOL... So I'm going to take a couple of hours befor they go on sale to just sit back, with my feet up and relax at work! At least I'm going to try... I have two hours to wait till the ticket desks open and I feel like I'm going to be sick LOL I am that tense.
Maybe I need something nice to distract me, a break... Oooh an Ice Cream!!!

Never mind the fact that while I'm stopping for Ice Cream I am doing so dressed as a witch, in my awesome new - and dare I say it hunted down - outfit from Petite Mort. The top and skirt - with it's lace shawl - can both be found in the Petite Mort Trick or Treat Hunt, which is taking place in the main store until October 31st. What a great way to get yourself a really cute outfit for Halloween and spend a fun half hour?!
Now where is a fun place to go for ice cream... How about a theme park? Personally I LOVE the theme park that is Everwinter. I know there is a sad story behind it, but seriously it's the best place for a Dead Dolly to enjoy a day at a theme park location...
When I asked for an Ice Cream I was handed this amazing PSYCHO.Byts Monster Ice Cream and then I got even luckier winning this adorable Lost Junction Cuddle Monster on a carnival game - both of these things are available until October 31st at The Candy Fair by the way.
Now after all of that fun I just hope that I can get lucky and "win" these tickets I want... Everyone cross your fingers for me! Please?

Weapons of the Angels at Geeks'N'Nerds

As the Geeks'N'Nerds Fair is running, I have been thinking about fandoms... I will admit to you that I was a little concerned when I applied to join the blogging team for this event that it would end up being all Dr. Who, or Harry Potter or Game of Thrones, but I am actually happy to admit that it's not! There is something for everyone at this fair and I even found a few things that were perfect for some of my own geeky fandoms... 
I am a massive fan of Supernatural! With a penchant for Sam - Dean's nice but I dunno I just cant get enough of Sam LOL - I was more than a little excited by one of the things I found in the Violetility collection! 

I had to get my Supernatural Hunter on, and it's all because of the tiny little dagger that I hold in my hand... Some people may recognise it and have a moment so squealing like I did, for others that do not, Violetility have made an Angel Sword - the weapon of choice for the Winchesters when killing any Angel! 
I was soooooo excited I had to jump in my Metallicar - made by HellBone in his store Hogs & Cart Wheels - and drive around the roads on our sim having a Supernatural Moment LOL... I stopped after a while but had to snap a little picture, posing using one of the Vanity Pose Poses for the Geeks'N'Nerds Fair and with some of the Ghost Hunter Equipment - from HopScotch - I went on a hunt of my own... I just hope that I am brave enough to find whatever it is that it out there in the swamp!

What No WiFi at Geeks'N'Nerds?!

So much horrible Halloweeny stuff going on that I am getting uber distracted by it, and forgetting the fact that there are other things in life which need to be remembered LOL... Geeks'N'Nerds Fair 2016 has started and oooooh there is some awesome stuff to be had this year. 
I was lucky enough to be accepted to the blogging team - was a surprise when it happened trust me - but there is just SO MUCH awesome stuff that I am not sure where to begin! So I decided for a little inspiration I'd head on into the event and take a look around... It looks brilliant, set in a space station environment - all futuristic and high tech looking - but what the heck... All that technology and a girl can't even get a WiFi signal?!!!

Hey, who am I kidding, who needs WiFi when you're already in SL right?! BUT that does lead me to a very good point which is that this is one of the poses from Fashiowl's Wifi Problems pose collection that is available at the Fair.
All of the items that I am wearing today at Geeks'N'Nerds Items... Released from some awesome designers. The top is part of an outfit from Moon Elixir that can be bought as separates for mixing and matching or wearing alone - called Maverick - it's a really cute set and I LOVE the top! Then I went a little kittenish with the accessories! An adorable USB Choker from katat0nik - that's a perfect item for a geek to carry around because well you never know when you will need one - in a Rare Kitty design, and some freaking cute Nerd Kitty Glasses - from 187 -  that have a HUD with so many different lense and bow colour options that it's hard to choose!

The Geeks and Nerds are COMING!

I'm going to take a little break from the gory macabre today - don't sound too shocked it won't last long knowing me - because today is the opening of a HUGE event aimed at a special class of people... Some of the coolest people I know fit right into this culture of life... These are the people that were picked on in school and that now they are in adulthood shine like brilliant stars... In case you're wondering, I'm talking about the Geeks and the Nerds! 
Today is the official opening of this years Geeks'N'Nerds Fair, and at 12PM SLT, SL will be filled with just a little more geeky nerdy goodness! Before then I'm going to just chillax and take it easy - geeky style - because once it opens, I'm going to be shopping crazy... 

Now OK a few things to mention... Firstly YES I KNOW I'm rather scantily dressed for Geek Chic but ignore that because well, I'm not sure I could pull off true geek chic if I tried, and Secondly there won't be a URL given here for the event today. You will have to wait until my next post for that because I'm not going to risk the 'handing-out-a-SLURL-too-early gods'! 
However I do want to give you a little taste of what you can expect... So ignoring my look today, all the pretty furniture and décor that I have with me can be found at this years Fair! 
The sofa, made of Rubiks cubes - which I will be honest and admit still annoy me even to this day as I can never complete them - comes from the aptly named geeky sounding store [USB] - as does the Geek Picture on the wall! A Padded Cell for a Psycho

My first day back at RL work today and it's not looking like it's going to be pretty! There goes that holiday feeling! Oh well, back to the old grindstone! 
To cheer myself up I think I'm going to do something a little gory, a little macabre, something totally Halloweeny! You know me by now, the more dark and disturbed the better and I get so excited at this time of year that I feel like a kid at Christmas! 

I love making dark and horrible pictures like this LOL... What does that tell you about my personality?! Maybe my collar says it all "Psycho" LOL - these collars are gacha items from the Kibitz Leather Collar collection by the way. 
Yet I'll just brush it off as Halloween and hope that you buy my crazy story LOL. I've finally been committed, everything has driven me mad, and now I am being recognised as such! Luckily before they locked me away in my padded cell - a pose prop from the long since closed Exposeur - I was allowed to choose some of my favourite toys to take with me... I decided on my special bear - from D&S design - and my trusty Knife - from Boudoir - as a girl simply cannot be without those. I was even allowed to decorate my cell a little hence the Devil Trap - from paper moon - and the cute little dream catcher that I made from bits and bobs I had laying around - but really bought from MadPea lol... 
Of course accidents happen, I got hit in the head, and as the doctor was bandaging me up, he had to wrap my head in bandages and therefore had to get close, I used one of his own syringes on him and took something special for lunch! 
Talking of lunch though, perhaps I shouldn't blog when I am hungry lol...

A Holiday after a Holiday

I made it home safe and sound back from jolly ol' England to my lovely home in Holland. Can't say that I am elated to be back - happy yes, elated no - I miss the UK already! Planning my next trip now as sad as that might sound! PLUS after all the crazy running around that my family had me doing I think another holiday is in order, I really could use the rest hehe... 
Maybe I will dream myself to a pretty deserted beach and just sit there for a while, listening to the sound of the waves on the beach and the gulls over head! 

WOW! It worked! LOL... Baja Sands - by the amazing Lauren Bentham - is the perfect location for me to get some rest in before the craziness of work starts, and by crazy I mean crazy... RL work, SL work, Gator Wrangling, Blogging and my new job as the photographer for a store I am going to be a little busy but I guess it will keep me out of trouble! 
My outfit is one that seems to be perfect for a trip to the beach on a warm Autumn Day - not that we are having many of those here anymore LOL - but it's another one of those awesome mix-n-match sets from Petite Mort! The Tie-Dye Halter Tops - shown here in ivory - and the Sand-wash Silk Capris - shown in Olive - are available in a selection of different colours at the latest round of Tres Chic, and I LOVE that they can be mixed together or worn separately with other things... Such great staple pieces to have in your hoard! 
I guess now though it's time to get back to work, so I will leave you listening to the sounds of the sea and the cry of the gulls!

Moths love the Silence

Although I am loving being away on holiday, there is one thing that I am finding a little bit tougher than I ever expect and that is being away from SL and everyone in it for so long. The addiction is never ending it seems, and for me personally, a week away sounds easier than it actually is! It feels like I've been temporarily silenced and for someone that can, and frequently does, talk a lot that's kinda like a nightmare! Don't get me wrong, I've had a great break and am more than a little sad I will be leaving the UK to head home tomorrow but I do feel now that I miss it a little more than I imagined. It's not the first time I've felt like this, and I'm sure it won't be the last, but hey it means I won't be disappearing anytime soon! Right?!

So for today and tomorrow enjoy the sounds of silence...

I've been silenced by the spirits in the picture that I chose to share with you today. Those moths of death having control over the Ouija board and apparently my mouth too lol...

While I was playing around in the Gator Maze, I took a picture as the Silence of the Lambs over took me, and Death's Head - a Katat0nik creation - landed on my face. Normally a moth this close to my face may prompt me to scream, but that would have meant that I'd have swallowed the moth - never a good idea LOL!

I accessorized the mouth moth with some more mothy things, including this awesome Oracle Moth Top in white from Petite Mort at the Mad Circus, and the random.Matter Drac Choker.

A little 1920's Glamour

I know I promised people around me that I wouldn't think about work whilst I was away, but for me blogging isn't really work, it's more of a means of release if I'm being totally honest! Hence, why I make time for it even though I am technically on holiday!

Today I want to share something very pretty, rather romantic atmospherically and something that feels a little bit magical - in the same way that having some time to relax at home is feeling, I guess?!

This time I'm taking a trip back in time, as I've been thinking about the Retro Rewind event that has been taking place in SL and that closes on the 12th, and I slip back in time to the roaring 20's. A time of glamour and depression all rolled into one decade, a time when Art Deco was the height of fashion...

I chose an amazing dress from the event to share with you, something so pretty but something that I'd never normally choose too. It gave me the chance to slip into a fantasy character that would have felt right at home in a 1920's gangster family. She oozes glamour and elegance. The dress is the Evening Dress from Sakide - which you can pick up at the Retro Rewind until October 15th - and I accessorized it with a cute Crochet Choker from (Yummy) and a wig that Wasabi Pills made a long time ago which is perfect for the era.

A glamorous look needs a glamorous location to be seen in. The location I chose was perfect, though nothing of the mobster feel really, but the glitz I was looking for could be found at The Outer Garden!

Still for now I have done with the glamour I think, it's time to slip into my PJs and curl up warm and cosy...

Staying at the Hotel

I've checked out of RL and into the hotel of Mum and Dad... I'm finally away from everything that is normal everyday RL and am on holiday visiting the UK and my family! It's been a long time coming but I am sooooooo Happy to have finally taken a bit of a break. Not that it means I will be taking a break from blogging, as I have plenty of things in store to share with you over the next week - I was prepared lol I'm that addicted - but blogging might be a little sporadic as I'm going to be busy with the family... Just warning you!

Still for now, as I said, out of the usual everyday RL situation and into the hotel of Mum and Dad!

I am checking Rudh into a hotel too, the one at Elysium City of Templemore to be exact, of course she as per usual is doing things in a much more glamorous way than I ever would.

She is always willing to wear a lot less clothes than I would too. This dress is a prime example of that, the Kaithleen's Leather Open Dress to be exact.

I've glammed it up a little for this lovely hotel by adding a simple hairstyle from Magika and a pearl collar from Kibitz called Sasha - which you too can get your hands on at The Fantasy Collective until October 15th - but you know Rudh by now, no matter how chic the look could be, she makes it look more like living dead doll attire.

For now I'm going to dinner at this hotel's lovely restaurant... Meals by Momma!!!
