There's Something Strange...

 While I'm stuck at home in bed, I feel like I'm going to be catching up on things like movie marathons and reading that I'd planned, or had merely thought about for some time... There are many things I want to get into - starting with a trip or two through Middle Earth, a wander through Narnia and maybe even a flights to Genovia - but I won't be going alone and so that HellBone feels important, I will be letting him pick some of our marathons... Today, I guess my blog reflects his choice... We're going Ghost hunting, or Busting if you will... 

There's something strange today, in this quiet Neighborhood - which just happens to have been a weekend sale backdrop release from Synnergy - and someone made a call, to Ghost Busters! Unfortunately the original teams, both old and new - as well as the girlie busters - were a little tied up in something bigger, and so the only one available to come hunt the problem was the new office intern... ME!!! I wasn't alone, that weird Slime Guy - a past gacha from SEmotion Libellune - was with me... 
Now all I needed was the car, and the only car left in the garage was the one that hadn't been out in the past 30 odd years or so it seemed, what a rust bucket...

All's Fair in Cyber Punk!

Cyber Punk Fair is well and truly open, and although I took a quick look into it a few days ago, I've been pulled back into a world that I'm none too sure about for some reason today... I decided to see if I can rock any more of the Cyber Punk look and well... It seems like, although it surprises me, I did an OK job... 
Futuristic little Rudh still rides around on a bike - of sorts - and has an important role in society, bringing in the naughty cyborgs that escape their masters... Her doting sidekicks, the lively Robo Woofers ready and waiting her command... 

Deep in The City - a backdrop by The Bearded Guy - she's parked up her Hover Bike - which is actually a pose set from Secret Poses for Cyber Punk Fair! - and called in the Robo Woofers - a HILTED release for the Cyber Punk Fair! - who are waiting her next command... 
Something in the distance catches her attention and she readies her weapon, a HUGE Rocket Launcher - from Inner Demons also at Cyber Punk Fair, what a coincidence hehe - as there have been attacks on the Cyborg hunters in her part of the city... The antenna in her Neon/Etta Mask - a FIKA for Cyber Punk Fair release - picking up the smallest of sound and allowing her to pin point it's creator, proving her mask wasn't just to hide her identity, although doing little to shield her from being a target... Her Axia Uniform - the last item I'm sharing that's also from Cyber Punk Fair this year and is an amazing release from PSYCHO.Byts - making her stick out like a sore thumb, marking her out as the enemy...

Pandora's Monsters need a Snack

The monsters have been released from this month's Pandora's Box and they are HUNGRY... 
What do monsters eat I wonder? I guess it depends on the Monster... I was wandering around in the woods of Ironwood Hills and I caught one of the Monsters of Pandora's Box enjoying a little snackette... Fairies!!!!!

Her sun gold hair that's braided and wrapped around her large dark antlers - thanks to the Aysdora add-on from FABIA - and her pretty floral adornments - from LODE and Ama - give the impression that this is a sweet gentle forest spirit. Yet the way that she's biting into that Fairy, not to mention the almost snake-like eyes - which come with the Make-Up from Vengeful Threads in this month's Pandora's Box - give a totally different perception upon closer inspection.
Now because this is a Pandora's Box post... You may want a reminder about Pandora's Box... As a basic reminder, the best place to go to sign up for your box is the Pandora's Box HQ. Now that the box has been opened the cost will be 2500L, which will allow you to join the group and get your box - bear in mind though that you only have until May 30th to do so - and all those wonderful goodies will be yours. Then after the last day in May the group will be emptied and sign up begins for the following month's box - which if you join the group before the release date will be 1500L! You can get more information about this at the Pandora's Box Website!! 
Watching that Fairy Eating Monster from the Box has made me peckish though... Time for a RL Snackette!!!

Zombies in Blueberry

Today is the first time that I've been in the office for a week or so and this morning I feel like I'm a zombie... It's too early, too dark outside and there is no one around besides the other worker bees that are trudging through the rain in a zombiesque manner just as I am... No matter how many cups of tea I drink this morning, I cannot seem to wake up. Maybe I should just move onto the hard stuff and hit myself with some coffee?! Anything to fight the zombies I guess!

The pose I'm using is one of those awesome comes with full scene and all the props you will need sets from Come Soon Poses. I am a little late with posting this, as it was from an event release BUT it is still available at the main store, and if you want to pose with zombies, remember this one tells you "They're Back!"
My outfit is one that is made up of oldish Blueberry stuffs... The Suko Top was a release for Uber this month, and it is in fact still available at Uber until tomorrow, while the shorts are an older - but still my go-to pair of denim shorts.
The rest of my look was just accessorising as per usual... I wore some killer heeled boots, new from Ducknipple, and a similarly studded garter belt from The Horror! as well as a {PSYCHO.Byts} collar...
Yet still I feel more like one of the zombies, than the zombie killer I am pretending to be... Perhaps I should just go with it for now, and hunt coffee not zombies?!

New Chairs from NEWCHURCH

Recently one of my sisters in the MC, lil Fyre, was talking to me about a store she'd started working for... A fairly new on the SL scene furniture store called NEWCHURCH. It was a store I'd never heard of, but she said she'd been given the task of promoting the store... 
Thank you to Victor - NEWCHURCH's owner - for allowing me the honour of being able to blog one of his creations. I have to admit that the furniture style is not really to my taste - it's all fairly realistic looking and I am a freak for the whimsical - BUT it is very well made, the textures are brilliant and I think that NEWCHURCH could be a rising star in the furniture world of SL... 

The store isn't huge but all of the pieces are fairly cute, and I can imagine that they would work well in any "realistic" style home... When I checked out the store, I chose a piece that I loved both for the texture and the shape, although it might have been more suited to a tropical beach that my weed filled smoky room! It's like a polar opposite of my look and accessories today, and I love that I can be so bi-polar in one photo hehe... 
I accessorised the shot with some of my Monies Smuggling Bears from Bokeh and a few joints from BUENO... Don't touch my joints, I've got a gun and I'm not afraid to use it! The gun comes with my new wig from [taketomi]...

A little quiet time with the Girls...

OK so quiet time around the Gators isn't really the right term here... More like it was a giggle fest, shared with only poor Gary as a little testosterone - though he was too chicken to jump into the photo with all of us - it was nice to be able to have just a few of my sisters to share in this moment with, AND use as props in the photos I wanted to take featuring some of the brand new releases from Consignment and Floorplan! 
It's hard for me taking pictures of furniture, I don't feel that it is one of my strengths... Some people take AMAZING furniture only photos but I have never been able to do that! So when these gorgeous girls were standing around doing nothing I thought to myself "AH HA" lol... That's love isn't it, using them for my own needs LOL... 

So let's discuss the furniture, seeing as it - a side from the fact that I did want to take a picture with some of my sisters, this isn't all of them by the way, Hell's Harem is a little bigger LOL - the reason I set this shot up! 
Consignment and Floorplan have done it again! They always seem to make gorgeous furnishings that could be used in any home style environment... Unfortunately for you these items will not be found as a job lot but all of the pieces used can be picked up from one of two locations... 
So here's the list, if you fancy yourself a chair like the blue one, the rug or the pretty pink rose in a vase, you will need to head to The Liason Collaborative. Here the chairs are available in 5 or 6 different colours, as PG or Adult versions and with a myriad of different décor also available that would look GREAT with them! If the Red Beanbag Sofa is more to your taste - although they look great together if you ask me - it is available in the same different colours, as PG or Adult versions, at Collabor88 this month. At Collabor88 you will also find the red rose, the jar containing the stick lights AND the radiator. These Radiators do not come with poses in them, I cheated a little and sat my sister Chelsea on the cool radiator using a pose that is no longer available, but a word of warning... Sitting on a radiator that is on, in a skirt that short, could hurt LOL... 
Now I hope you won't kill me for not having a list of what all of my sisters are wearing, but if you see something specific on one of them, that you have to have, please let me know and I will find out where it comes from... My outfit on the other hand, well that's easy to tell hehe...  

I was channelling another sister Solde this week, she's always seen with trademark white hair, but it looked so cute with my outfit that I hope she won't kill me for copying her style. The reason for this outfit came about due to the awesome shirt that I bought on Sunday. It was Lazy Sunday, I was being very lazy and I spotted these cute Lolita Dresses that were the release from Razor and I HAD to have them. Yes the HUD has the design in different colours, but I LOVED this combination and so pink and green it was LOL... I will admit that I tried it on without a skirt underneath, normally I would have gone without one, but for some reason I was feeling a little self concious, so I admit I made this dress just a little longer by adding a plain black teeny skirt underneath!
Lastly, and as always, Accessories!!! The Necklace and Bracelet are a release from Goth1c0 for this months line up of The Witching Hour, which closes today! Available as individual parts - Bracelets and Necklaces are separates - this red coloured version is a RARE one, but all of the colours look this good so it was very hard to choose which to wear hehe... 
Maybe next time I will try to get a photo with all of my sisters, that make up HellBone's Harem... For now this is what you get, aren't we all pretty LOL...

Even Pretty Fairies Get Cold Feet!

Horror Stories are just fairy tales bottled up in a dark veneer... Many fairy tales are sparkled up anyway to make them seem prettier and more child friendly, but if you read them in their original state, it can be a blurred line to see where fairy tales and horror stories divide! This time of year the horrors seem to be taking over, but I'd been shopping - as I seem to do almost all of my free time LOL - and at a fantasy gacha event called The Gathering, I found the most amazing socks so the fairy tale in me took over hehe! 

Yes my whole look is inspired by socks LOL... Although the fact that I am a pretty fairy was totally due to my mood hehe... I wanted to be evil, I truly did but somehow ended up as a naughty and kinda cheeky looking fairy! 
Let me pull your attention back to the EPIC SOCKS!!! These are a creation of Death Row Designer - Jaimy Hancroft - and as soon as I saw them I HAD to have some! As I have said, they are available in a gacha at The Gathering, and can be won as items to make up a fairy outfit in 4 different colours. I wanted the Black and White pair, purple so isn't my usual colour BUT these do look pretty EPIC! At the same time, and from the same machine, I won these pretty wings too... They are in fact from different colour outfits, but to be honest that's part of the good of this machine, unless you want one specific you can mix and match the looks! 
The rest of the outfit just fell into place around my socks and wings... Normally I HATE working from an accessory and creating an outfit, but the wings seems to know exactly which set of lingerie I had - the Ruffle Lingerie from Bowtique by the way - that would match colour wise, and then even the Mist Flower from Distorted Dreams seemed to kamakazee throw itself at me!! It all just seemed to be so cute together, I couldn't waste an opportunity like that LOL!!!

Cyborg Rudh Dollies Now Available!

Horror Haute is here YAY!!! Though I think this month I am only likely to be able to bring you one look, because as of this afternoon I AM GOING HOME FOR A VISIT!!! It will be awesome not worrying about anything... I won't be here for a week, but never fear dear readers I will be back hehe... 
ANYWAY, Horror Haute... Now you might remember that they have started a new thing with the event... Each month the items on offer will be part of a different theme! This month's theme is Dead Space! 
Now, I will admit that I was actually REALLY scared by this theme... I can admit that I am more than a little scared of aliens - some people don't like spiders, others clowns, for me aliens are the worst - and so when I saw the theme I had to make Hell check there was nothing being sent that would make me have a heart attack! He said there is one item - a bouncy ball from La Maison Des Corbeaux apparently - that is alien themed and awesome, but aside from that most of the goodies seem to be a little more cyber goth than aliens... I breathed a sigh of relief LOL...

Anyway, this Horror Haute lead to the birth of Rudh the robot dolly... Brought to life in a Pod from Squeek, this dolly was made up of all of the latest parts! This particular robot dolly model is wearing the ImmateriA Dead Space look... She comes complete with dress, eyes and cyborg leg attachment. Skins, accessories and Hair are fully interchangeable! This model includes taketomi Kakoa hair which can be purchased seperately from The Gacha Mania event.
