It's getting closer, so close the magic is deep and dark and scary... Halloween is coming and I cannot wait! Just a few more sleeps until Halloween! Now that the veil is lifting and we're closer to the otherside, Rudh is putting in a few calls to home, and chatting with her demonic friends and summoning them all to come for a visit over the holidays!
Summoning takes a lot of effort though, I mean you have to set the scene, and depending on who you are contacting it will vary as to what you need... Her Witch Planning Book - from Tentacio - keeps notes of what is needed to contact everyone, and in this case she's using Scattered Crystals - from Lovely Alien - and a HUGE Blood Bucket - from Pink Unicorn - though I'm not sure if the person she's contacting is at home! Wait a minute though, the little demonic Rudh may be scaring her callers away... I mean look she's dressed like some kind of nun?! Since SL is down, and we've had to postpone the Rob Zombie concert that was scheduled at the Gator Sim today it means Rudh is all dressed up with no where to go and no supervision from me... She's totally unsupervised people and who knows what chaos could be caused! She's gonna burn down the house - or maybe it's a church at The Forgotten that the little Living Dead Girl is living in - and head out to wreak some havoc! YAY for demonic havoc!!!

Coming up in RL over the next few weeks, HellBone will be MASSIVELY busy with work as a special effects make-up artist. He's been working super hard on a brand new character costume of Oogie-Boogie from Nightmare before Christmas. It's making me get all into the theme of the movie, and well... Had a day dealing with customers at work that makes my inner psycho come out... They ask so many questions and expect me to be happy joy joy, when all I can think about is "how can I answer your question without stabbing you?!" Having to remain calm at work means that by the time I get home I'm willing to stab someone, anyone, pictures will have to do, I can't murder as I don't have bail money... LUCKILY It's Halloween, and murder is accepted...
I stabbed more than once, I cut out their heart and hung them to bleed dry... I left their entrails dangling as I picked up the heart and planned where I was going to start carving. It's a complicated process, but I'm being manically evil today and it's all really in the Halloween Spirit. While getting into the spirit I had to dress for the part, I wore some bandages from Anck-su-Namun - a release from Fika - that must have been cursed or something as once I'd put them on one of my eyeballs popped out. Wasn't meant to happen as I started carving the heart, but once my eyeball popped out random stuff started happening, my horns grew for example - though the awesome hair from Olive! Deep in the dark of the crypt at the Cemetery, Rudh is dealing with the remains of her zombie ex-boyfriend... There's so much pretty shit going on with the Halloween season, but one of those events that I love has come back and I cannot be more excited about it. A lovely little dark corner of Second Life opened back up again and brought with it the Eclipse... The magic of the Eclipse is perfect for casting a few spells and bringing forth things that are more than a little special... The little witch in me went out into the woods and cast a spell, luring out the Dire Wolves...
When darkness begins to fall it is the best time to call on the Dire Wolves... Halloween this year seems to be all about the clowns... What with the Joker and Harlequinn movies coming out, and a subtle nod back to IT, there are clowns all over the place. LOTS AND LOTS of them! I've never really had much of a problem with clowns aside from thinking that they are a little creepy, so they will always be one of the costumes that come out every year for Halloween!
I went with the new clown release from ANTINATURAL that is part of the Carnival Freaks Gacha Collection. Both the Clown outfit - worn here in beige - and the amazing EyeFreak Eyes are two parts of this wicked set! I love being a clown and was extremely excited to discover that the Uri Jefferson's FREAKSHOW is open again this year! It's a really well put together freakshow circus with live models to bring the spooky realness right into your face!!! It's an epic circus if you don't mind the clowns! You can even find a balloon... I've seen so many posts on facebook about people losing their people and furbabies recently and maybe due to this, or maybe it´s due to other things, but I keep having this feeling of coming sadness. Like someone I love and call family is going to disappear or worse! I hope that I´m just being over sensitive and empathetic to the people I see sharing their pain, but it has me on edge! Today´s picture is a representation of that sadness, even though the location is somewhere totally awesome I just felt like it spoke volumes of my mood right now!
I have been in a bit of a downer kinda mood for the past few days, I'm trying to blame it on having a cold but I guess there may be more to it than that... So as I was exploring the awesome setting that is Trick or Treat Lane - it's great both as a pretty sim and a shopping event by the way - I stopped in the Cemetery to say hello to old friends. I was overcome with a few emotions, but I clearly remember feeling like I was being followed. While I was there I found myself thinking about my old cat, that lived with Mum in RL, and I really had the distinct feeling that I could hear her miaow whispering in the wind as I left the cemetery. I'd only gone to TOTL to find a fab place to pose in my new TOTL based outfit! There's some neon pinkness going on in the video, hence why everything in my room is now neon pink in colour hehe... So while working on a little magic to carve my pumpkin yesterday, I think I must have left the cauldron cooking just a little too long... There may have even been a little love potion magic in the bottom as it was cooking... I say this because I had a moment of "OOPS!" while cleaning the cabin today... So as I was sweeping the floors, talking to my little kitties, I felt a strange presence behind me... I think my cauldron is trying to tell me something...
The unstable Cauldron - one of the many things available and on show from Trick or Treat Lane by the way - decided to show me a little love, I knew that there was a little love potion in the bottom of that cauldron! He wanted to give me a big kiss, and I guess I learnt that I need to clean things a little better. So I've selected my pumpkins, and now it's time to take them home to start carving them... I LOVE carving pumpkins, I get all silly as I pull the pumpkin flesh out from the pumpkin and end up making zombie noises as I'm playing with the innards... I'm going to hide away in my dark little witch cottage, and while I'm casting a few spells, I'm going to cast a little magic and carve myself a new friend!

I went to the store today in RL, and was doing some of my usual grocery shopping... Buying the usual things for the weekend and making sure I had enough cat and dog food too, but then I noticed they have now got pumpkins available for sale so naturally I had to check those out too... Yet they were a massive disappointment... TINY and not really made for carving!!! I'm going to have to fulfill my crazing for pumpkins in SL this year!

Last night was the grand opening of this year's Gators MC Halloween Maze and as with every year I always end up coming up with some weird and wonderful costumes... It's my favourite time of the year for a reason, and it's not like I need a reason to play dress up... So this year I kinda dressed in the theme for the opening and to match my room but without giving too much away...
Yes it's a Candy Forest and I'm a tooth fairy... I don't want the bad rotten teeth that have fallen out, I want the teeth that are still in your jaw... I'm taking those out... No Novocaine is needed!!! My pliers will do the work for me! My costume is from Decoy at the new pop-up round of The Arcade... A couple of days ago, one of my favourite events to blog opened and I'm very excited about it as it means that Halloween is getting closer... I LOVE this event because it reminds me of one of those things I've always wanted to do. It was never really a thing in the UK while I was a child, but I've always wanted to be able to Trick or Treat in the way it's done in the States... That's why Trick or Treat Lane always seemed like such a fun event for me... Still failing that, since I cant Trick or Treat in Holland either, I'm going to just resign the fact that I won't be doing it again this year, and watch some cool movies instead...
In a local old movie theater, they are playing some of the Horror Greats, and I think I may start with a little Friday the 13th... Before the movie starts I do have a little TOTL inspired look of the day - with some other fun stuff thrown in for fun! Yes it's a barely there outfit, thanks to a bodysuit from OOPS - which you can still grab now at Necrosis - but it was purely because I wanted to show of these fab socks and Luna Mary Janes from 1313 Mockingbird Lane! The colours and patterns make for some really funky Halloween shoes for those of you that only live Halloween in October... I'll be using these ALL YEAR!!! I found someone else that really liked them too... While I was getting up to go grab I nice bottle of Bubble Magic Potion, a HILTED Zombie grabbed for my shoes, and while I was running away his hand got attached to my leg!!! A couple of days ago, Hentai Horror started and warped a depraved little corner of Second Life... For some people the thought of Hentai and all the tentacles that it embraces can be a little unnerving or even off putting, but I'm part mermaid... Tentacles have never been a bother for me hehe... So while I was playing around in some of the awesome Hentai Horror themed creations, I felt a craving, and decided to step out to get some Ice Cream...
At the SugarBowl Ice Cream Parlor, it seemed like the place was empty... May they too had gone to see what delights the Hentai Horror held, I had to help myself to some of the delicious Ice Cream, and even made a new friend in the owners puppy... I couldn't eat alone could I? I had to share!! As you can see, the outfit isn't one of my usual colour choices... I blame the tentacles clouding my judgement, and for some reason opting for purple! It's a VERY rare occurrence that purple is worn by me... Don't get used to it LOL! It all started when I tried the Succubus Dress on - from MOEKO - there were a few different colours to choose from but for some reason it seemed to appeal best in purple when I added this awesome Socorra Hairstyle from EscalateD. The hair comes with these awesome tentacle horns braided into it! I was in love from the moment I tried the demo!!! Anyway, I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream... Not sure if that's because we love it, or we're scared of the TentaCram - by SEKA's - but I know I'm hungry and it looks YUM!!! I'm screaming for good reasons hehe...
So it's October, and therefore my blog and rambling space will be full of Halloween fun, but it's also Autumn and well, I cannot miss the opportunity to share some prettiness for this season too... It's my favourite time of the year after all! Recently I was looking for pretty fun Autumn places to explore, and I spotted one in my besties - Manky Button's - photo collection on Flickr. I knew I had found a place I wanted to explore... I had to check out Whimsies and Dreamscapes, and I wasn't disappointed!
This is one of those outfits that I'm wearing a lot when I'm not dressed in something monstrous. It has that feeling of a true Autumn look for me, short sleeves because it can still be a little warm when the sun is shining, but lots of layers to keep you warm for when it's needed... I've been back to my work finally... I've only done 6 hours in the last two days but I feel shattered, and I actually hurt a little bit... BABY STEPS back to work Rudhiepops, Baby Steps! It's not just in RL that I feel pretty tired though, even in SL I'm starting to feel kinda tired and the Halloween season is only just beginning... Maybe the tiredness is seeping through... The poor little Living Dead Doll in me is wondering how she can be tired when she's already dead, but maybe her magic just needs topping up... The little witch needs to focus and start brewing potions...
Dressed in some adorably cure witchy wear from the Black Magic Woman Gacha collection by 1313 Mockingbird Lane - available at Salem until October 31st by the way - this little witch chose her rare set to try to help the magic work, once her headache subsides! Her home, usually the calming serenity she needs, is now the cause of chaos as her Feline Fright scours the room looking for his toy mice! Now, tucked away inside her sweet little cottage - which has been photographed numerous times by some amazing photographers like IgorAlmedia and Sookie Static - she's hiding inside and you can see all the fabulous furniture within...
