Meeting the Residents

I've had a particularly difficult day, I feel like sometimes customers are lovely and others they treat you like you're way below them and you aren't very important at all... If I could get away with it, I'd want to say "Excuse me, if you don't talk to me like I'm a normal human being then I'm done feeding you cheese"... Please remember that people working in retail, are people too... 
I came home from work today and had to stop off to get myself something for dinner... I had convinced myself I wanted something healthy... That turned into a pack of cheesy bullcrap... 

That didn't happen, Hell wanted a take-away and a curry was what he had in mind... Not that I was complaining, although Rudh had picked up healthy things in her Groceries bag, and even stopped to pet the neighbours dogs as she waited by the elevators...

Cave of Creeps and Crawly Things

I'm in a lot of pain after a trip to the docs today but luckily I had something a little creepy to make a girl's skin crawl... I needed some kind of distraction, and I think the creepiness of the bugs may just be the kind of place to do it... 

Some people are terrified of bugs, others love them. I'm not one of those that hates them but certain bugs give me the willies... WHY is that though? I've never really understood why people love things like butterflies and ladybirds but other bugs make them squirm and shiver...

There is some magic in the air and as it's the Spooky season, it's definitely a little on the darker side of magic...

Witchcraft in Darkwood

 A few days ago, before I had to venture out into RL for work, my boobooface and I went to go a little Halloweening... I love this time of year for all of the fun Halloween stuff to do... While we were out exploring, we found a "Return to Darkwood" and the little witch that I was was drawn home... Somewhere dark and swampy, with more than a hint of magic... 

I was excited to go back, and explore home... Taking my familiar - who looks just as dopey as my RL kitty Anna - but for some reason when I went home my skin reverted to it's gorgeous natural green tone - thanks to this amazing skin released by Wyrd for Trick or Treat Lane! Now that I think about it, my eyes look a little clearer too... The Plague Eyes are looking less white than normal, and more colourful - thanks to The Little Bat, also at Trick or Treat Lane!

When Practicing Magic Goes Awry...

While in isolation, Rudh has been taking the time to improve herself, learn a few new skills and dust off some of her old ones... There's no time for things like that normally, so when you get the chance you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth right?! 
Today it was time to make a little magic, I set myself up a new little cosy, safe space where I wouldn't be disturbed, and then I set to work... It's lucky I was on my own... It wasn't going well... 

I whipped the magic up, and got the room looking perfect, then an oopsie happened! 
The cards that I'd set out for a reading started levitating and swirling around the room, causing chaos before I could even start. It was a little DISORDERLY!

Love even burns in dark places like Necrosis

This week is Valentines Week... The day that's been commercialized as a day we're meant to show love is coming this Friday. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I LOVE LOVE but don't think it should be limited to something that we share one day a year! If you love something or someone then SAY IT! 
That having been said though, it's something that you cannot seem to avoid at this time of year, EVERYWHERE is full of hearts and flowers - even the places that are dark and depraved... Places like Necrosis, and even allowing the dark lovers to share their love, in their own twisted ways... 

By February 14th, the current round of Necrosis will be coming to a close. There are so many goodies that I've yet to share though, I feel like time is running out to spread the love before the little cupids get there and get all the fun! 
Today's dip into the Necrosis box saw me pull out a little of the dark glamour. Something that could easily make a perfect date night look for those with the dark in mind... I was drawn to aspects of this outfit like a moth to a flame... The Little Bat Love Carvings on my chest and the Misschevious release which shows "Every Rose Has A Thorn" my own face being the thorn of course, pulled me to them with such force that I was powerless to stop it! Then as if by a little dark valentine magic, the rest of my outfit simply fell into place... An Arabella Lace Top - from Infernal Alchemy - seemed to work wonders, almost a perfect match, with an old pair of N-Core Heels I had and when topped with a messy updo... PERFECT VALENTINES LOOK... Just a shame I have no where to go, and no need to dress all pretty!

Feeding the last of her Thirst at Trick or Treat Lane

I have some good news to share with everyone today... If you haven't had a chance to get to Trick or Treat Lane yet, the good news for you is that although today is meant to be the last day, they have decided to extend the opening over the weekend until Sunday! That's two whole extra days of shopping!!
That having been said, the official closing date is today and Rudh is about to enjoy the last of her tasty morsels from Trick or Treat Lane... There's just enough to keep her excited about next year, by then her hunger will be much greater, she's hungry still... 

She's just enjoyed the last of the Trick or Treaters, but that doesnt mean she cant still enjoy a little trip down Trick or Treat Lane.
Having to leave her gorgeous new Witchy Lair - a building released for ToTL from Rivendale - she is Thirsty... The little vampire in her calling out for something stronger than Halloween Candy. Marks of her vampiric status adorning her body, the Chompy Choker, the copy of Winifred's Necklace around her neck and even that painful looking cross carved over her eye - thanks to a make up layer called Satina from VileCult.

Last Summer Days at the Beach

Autumn is coming and I AM SOOOOOOOO HAPPY. I love everything about Autumn... The colours, the cooling of the air and even the rainy days, but that doesn't mean I wont take a few last minute trips to the beach in SL... That's the beauty of SL, you can be on the beach getting a tan even on the rainiest of days, and some people might say that Rudh really needs a bit of a tan...
It was on this day trip to the beach that I noticed something a little weird, but there's a story to tell, so I hope you're sitting comfortably...
In a nutshell, I went to the beach at my sister Solde's house... She's a newly wed, and I thought there would be no one home so why not take the opportunity... Though I was just chillaxing on a sun lounger, bikini and sunnies on about to apply a layer of sunblock when I heard a really weird noise... Being a little unobservant I'd failed to notice the mound of sand beside the sun lounger... BOY did I blush, that poor guy looks more than a little sunburnt somewhere rather delicate!!! I just hope it's not the bridegroom, Max, because I really wouldn't ever be able to look him in the face again...

LOL least that's my story and I'm sticking to it... I will not admit that it's someone I know buried under all that sand, that's for you to guess and for me to know... 
The Furniture Set used in this picture is actually a past ROMP Item from the amazing store that is Fapple! As I mentioned before, I LOVE this female dominance inspired store, that's just stuffed full of all different kinds of fun props and toys like this. The Set is called "Mistress gets a tan" and at first you won't be able to locate the beach prop, but I promise you, you'll find it if you look for the SURPRISE!!! 
For my fun day at the beach though, I chose to wear this gorgeously different bikini from [sYs] called Alix in an Ocean Blue colour. Accessorising, which is always important, with a pair of retro style Morgan Glasses from The Little Bat, and a loose pony tail - Excuse Me from Magika if you wanted to know - the look came together well... 
So now I still need to apply sunblock, the reddening of my cheeks it's sunburn I can promise you that, but I wonder who is buried in the sand?! Should I help dig a poor guy out?!

ROMP & Fetish

Whereas I was being cute in yesterday's post - OK cute and kooky I should say - today a different side of me want's to step into the light, so I warn you, today I'm releasing my naughty side...
There has been a burst of naughty style events recently with the openings of Fetish Fair and ROMP so close together that it was bound to happen, especially when you consider that some of my favouritest designers had some awesome offerings available. 
Violetility was one of those that tickled my fancy at the recent round of ROMP, so much so that I needed to share them with you... 

Gives me an excuse to stop the naughty girl in me from talking just a little bit too...
Violetility have created a bumper load of goodies at this round of ROMP, so much so that I was spoilt for choice... The location is a gorgeous Skybox - the Violetility Playroom Skybox which comes with or without the artfully placed pictures on the walls - and the furniture is a collection from Violetility called "Saltire". Such a dark, masculine and sexy collection that it's the sort of thing which would look right in any dom's playroom... BUT not only that, there's more amazing kinky fun stuff from Violetility in the form of this harsh cold looking Steel Harness Gag too, and although it's not a Violetility item, there's a lot more ROMPishness in the form of this awesome posed collar from AsteroidBox - the "Gajung" Collar which is also available at ROMP!
Though the kinkiness doesn't stop at ROMP, I mentioned Fetish Fair too... Well the Fetish Fair is the reason I'm wearing what I am wearing... I bought both this dress - from [I<3F] - and this adorable Garter belt with it's accessorised riding crop - from The Little Bat - at the event, it just seemed perfect in the setting lol... So much kink!!! So much fun!! Now all I need is a playmate for my playroom!

Insane and needing Glass

Is it just me or is Christmas Shopping a NIGHTMARE?! YES I know it's not even December, but as I have said before in Holland there is a Dutch Tradition called "Sinterklaas" which means that basically there are two similar Christmassy Holidays here - on on December 5th and the other December 25th. Normally I think less about Sinterklaas and focus on Christmas, but this year I will not be able to go to England and so my parents have decided to come over for Sinterklaas!!! So that means I now have to find more presents and therefore fight the shopping crowds earlier! 
I tried to be smart and do some of my shopping online but sometimes it doesn't work out that way... Today HellBone and I braved the RL shopping crowds, oh my gosh it's like a fight out there... Everyone hustling to get stuff... It's a wonder that people don't actually start fighting! There seems to be only one word that describes it... 

Insane! I cannot believe the level of stress that shopping for one event a year seems to create LOL! Trust me for those of you that do not have Sinterklaas, if you thought shopping for one Christmas-style Holiday was bad, try having TWO in the same month LOL... 
If my Kibitz Collar doesn't summon it up then maybe the fact that I have gone more than my average level of crazy and shoved shards of glass in my chest - courtesy of SongBird by the way - while allowing the blood to splatter my glasses will make you believe me!
Still once all that was done, and we had a lot of shopping to do for the Sinterklaas festivities - since HellBone was buying tons of gifts for people that he works with in BACA - I find myself thinking I need more glass LOL - I have so much gift wrapping to do!!

Fighting the Walking Dead

Monday Morning comes again... It's a time of the week that sounds dreadful but isn't actually that bad - least I'm beginning to think that way - Tuesday morning always seems worse somehow?! Yet I am not denying that it is always a struggle to get myself up in the morning on a Monday morning.
There is just one thing that brightens up my Mondays at the moment and that's the fact that it is Walking Dead Night tonight. I am not a fan of the show, but HellBone is, which means that Monday Nights are awesome because I get a full hour of alone in bed time!!

In homage to The Walking Dead - yes I have no idea what I'm really doing here because I have no idea about the show at all, but you know me I enjoy being dead lol...
The pose I am using is perfect for that... It's a Come Soon Swag Bag Pose Prop - from last month's Swag Bag - called End of Line. If I'm going to be taken out, then I am taking out everyone else with me!
The outfit was one of the real reasons that I wanted to use this pose - for some reason they just seemed to fit together so well! The body suit and matching collar is a Salt & Pepper creation called Cyberized that you can win from a gacha machine in various colours and combinations at The Gacha Garden. It seemed perfectly accessorised with this Chained Mask and the Survivor Holster - both from The Little Bat that I found during the Pulse Games Event this year!

I'm off to kill a Wizard, a soon-to-dead Wizard of Oz...

Because he messed with Rudh while she was in Oz. 

LOL, OK, OK I got a little carried away creative this morning... and I havent even had a chance to finish my first cup of coffee yet! 
There are two reasons why I decided to go crazy dead Dorothy this morning... First off last night HellBone asked for ideas for the Gators MC Halloween Event - yes I know it's only June but he wants to start planning!!! Secondly though I had been sent a new dress and I wasn't sure what to do with it... My MC sister Solde said why not use the Gingham for a Dorothy look - she loves the Wizard of Oz - and you know how my mind works... Before too long I was dead! 
The dress is a new release from Petite Mort. It's the "Mansfield Vintage Playsuit" in red gingham - which you can get your hands on at the Tropical Summer Event until June 18th - and I will admit that it's not really my style but as soon as I tried it on and Solde said Wizard of Oz the cogs in my mind were whirring into life LOL... 
The rest was then just a matter of accessorising - a nod to her companions in the form of the lion bag and the tinman's axe, her little dead Toto and even a pair of Flesh & Bone Heels because no ruby slippers would do for this dead Dorothy. 
The location was somewhere that I havent been to in AGES, I wasn't sure that it would even still be here, but if you like the Wizard of Oz then you should definitely check out OZ! Though, maybe give it a while, I mean I hear they are looking for a new wizard hehe...

Empty Sleigh, Where's Santa?!

It's almost here, today is the Eve of Christmas Eve... It's that time when Children start to be really well behaved, and even my Dad starts to get overly excited... He already reminded me of the Norad Santa tracker that you can see every year, but he is disappointed that I won't be there to leave a mince pie and brandy out for old Saint Nick... Still I wont be dwelling on that! 
I was out taking a walk on a pretty snowy sim - called RAYNE Isles - the other day and I spotted something that looked like Saint Nick might have forgotten it!

I know there were no reindeer around but hey maybe he was just testing the sleigh for strength or something?! There was no return to sender label on things either, I mean the only label was a sign saying Remarkable Oblivion Sleigh Bells, which I am assuming is the makers mark!! 
I'm not sure if the outfit I was wearing was something I should have been caught by Santa in though, I mean it was a top that said "Naughty until Proven Nice"... Is it cold on the Beach?

Do you ever get days where you are wearing an outfit that you love, and then you find another new accessory to add and you just feel that it would be funny to do something that doesn't quite match the style of the look?! 
I did just that yesterday. I was wearing a really cute, but kinda wintry outfit, sitting around minding my own business working on some photos and then Cute Poison dropped something brand new into my lap... From then on it was a slippery slope downhill into a random exploration of various beaches - such as the one at Maru - dressed in my winter wear LOL... 

The item in question, that fell from the Sky, was the latest release from Cute Poison - for a brand new event which starts on December 13th called CarnEvil - three different pairs of sunglasses!!! The Gothic Shades come in three different designs - skulls, inverted crosses or, as shown here, Zombie - and are really cute, up to the same brilliant standard that Cute Poison always produces and perfect for lazing around on the beach in... These will definitely be used more in the summer hehe... 
The rest of the outfit is I guess, another look of the day LOL... Dammit! 
Please bear in mind though that some of this stuff isn't brand new, I tend to store things sometimes until the right time occurs... These Darling Jeans, for example, come from a past round of Suicide Dollz I think, but are available still from their store of origin - The Little Bat. 
While on the subject of Suicide Dollz - Happy Anniversary to them - they are celebrating their first year of being open! So many of their event collaborators have gotten together for one HUGE Suicide Dollz event, and there are LOTS of goodies to grab for cheap! Such as this cute Heart Nose Piercing from DirtyStories, and this sweet Nose Tat from STATIC. I even made a full priced purchase while I was freebie grabbing LOL - don't be shocked I do that a lot ya know?! LOL - this Bow Chain Necklace from Pekka was calling my name, I HAD to grab one!  
Last but not least in this "look of the day" I have to share the Atomic Weekend Lazies Sweater I am wearing... It pays homage to just how I feel in RL right now LOL... Least I can work from home MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
