Feeding the last of her Thirst at Trick or Treat Lane

I have some good news to share with everyone today... If you haven't had a chance to get to Trick or Treat Lane yet, the good news for you is that although today is meant to be the last day, they have decided to extend the opening over the weekend until Sunday! That's two whole extra days of shopping!!
That having been said, the official closing date is today and Rudh is about to enjoy the last of her tasty morsels from Trick or Treat Lane... There's just enough to keep her excited about next year, by then her hunger will be much greater, she's hungry still... 

She's just enjoyed the last of the Trick or Treaters, but that doesnt mean she cant still enjoy a little trip down Trick or Treat Lane.
Having to leave her gorgeous new Witchy Lair - a building released for ToTL from Rivendale - she is Thirsty... The little vampire in her calling out for something stronger than Halloween Candy. Marks of her vampiric status adorning her body, the Chompy Choker, the copy of Winifred's Necklace around her neck and even that painful looking cross carved over her eye - thanks to a make up layer called Satina from VileCult. 
Just a few more days of the awesome Trick or Treat Lane, don't forget to wander the streets and grab what you want before you lose the chance and it disappears till next Halloween!!!

Clown Twins of the Freakshow

Halloween may already be over - it went so fast and I'm sad that it's already gone - but then I think to myself "wait a minute, every day is Halloween for me!"  and I'm not going to let myself be sad because the special day is over... There's still lots of super fun Halloweeny stuff going on for a little longer - like the Gators MC Halloween Maze, and even when that stops I'll still be embracing my darker side!
Talking of darker sides, I met someone that I've kinda known about in the back of my mind for a long time, we've been working in the same kind of blogger circles for years but have just never really connected with, until recently... 

I started liking posts she was making on facebook, then began bumping into Guen Gothly at random shopping events, passing by and sharing the odd hello... One day when we actually talked it was like a friendship didn't just start it blew up big time, and now this amazing lady is someone I feel happy turning to for support and guidance and giggles too! Giggles just like the post we decided randomly to create together, when I distracted her at Cynful and she almost bought a neon blue cardigan LOL... 
On that day it was decided we'd buy the cardigans - although not in the blue - and dress like horror clowns... SEE She's just as weird as I am! 
I'm also a LITTLE late blogging this, Guen had her's done ages ago. She wrote such a lovely post on her blog Macabre Beauties (and check her out on Flickr too), that I had a cheesy grin and felt really special, but I've been lagging behind by a few days.

I'm still in dress up mode, I'm still playing with fun costumes, and well... It's Halloween Season, it could be going on for a little while yet! 
Today I've been inspired by something that I am surrounded by on a regular basis - since both my niece and kitty momma are kittens - today I'm going a little crazy cat lady! 

This time I'm blaming my choice of costume on the new hair I grabbed for myself at #Foxy - which is available at the new round of Kustom9, a round in which the event is celebrating it's 5th anniversary too and there are tons of gifts out, like my kitten nose, which is also from #Foxy.
I got so into creating the character that I even gouged marks in my own cheeks to look like whiskers, and captured some friendly little mice - from PSYCHO.Byts - to accessorise!
Look at me though, don't I make a pretty little kitty?

I Know, I Know...

It's time for something a little naughty, it's been a while, and you know how I get... It's like a feeling of itchy feet knowing I NEED to do it... I was given a helping hand by a store that I love being a part of the blogging team for, and so I can try to kinda blame it on them, although really it's my fault for just being a little bit naughty... 
You can call me names, you can look down on me for being a bit of - or a lot of I don't care - a slut sometimes, I KNOW that people get disturbed by it, and I know that it may put some people off, but it's just my pixels. One of my favourite stories about my hubby connects with some of my naughtier looks, it shocks people when I tell them that one day he asked me if I "always dressed like a slut"... He doesn't care, he know's it's just dress up... I should leave him thinking that LOL... 

The look of the outfit I'd pulled together worked kind of well with this anxiety Madness Backdrop, which is available for use at Backdrop City, as her face is covered with all different kinds of hate... Not just calling her a slut, there's a lot worse, but Rudh knows... I know... We know, and we all know that it's just one of those SL fantasies! I'm far too much of a good girl to act on it, it's just the way I dress LOL... 
The items I'd been sent to blog seemed to work so go so well together... The adorable little Erica Skirt from MuggleBorn is a release, available at Suicide Dollz. The skirt is available in the usual colour packs, a Fatpack or an Ultimate Pack - which you need to have the Fatpack for to be able to use it. I've worn it with a brand new release from Ama, for Blush, which is this terrible naughty but so cute Aria Collar that comes complete with clamps for the nips! 
So yes, I know, sometimes I'm a bit of a slut, but HEY I LOVE IT lol...

L.U.N.A, the Story of Humankind

One of my favourite places to go and explore, a pretty location for taking pictures and generally relaxing is a place called Elysion. This location is a paid entry group, but since I've been gifted with the group access I have really enjoyed going back to visit time and time again. Not only the main location, but the little sometime locations that spring up for a short while are amazing... I know there is one opening today about a certain book I was crazy about, I will be going to visit the location hopefully soon before it closes, but today I want to talk about one of the sometime locations... 
L.U.N.A, the story of Human Kind...

"Humankind is responsible for destroying the planet known only a few decades ago as Earth.  They of course were warned, and chose to ignore. Even after all the signs….the raging fires, floods, earthquakes, and tropical storms so intense they were capable of wiping out  infrastructure for months at a time, and widespread devastation to a multitude of planet life.

The year is 2024--a privately funded team of scientific experts, botanists, and astronauts has been assigned with the task of taking selected specimens from earth in an attempt to colonize the planet known to us only as - L U N A -.

Luna is the last hope for the survival of the human race. We have no idea if this mission will be successful, but what is left of humankind hinges on the success of  the colonization of this new planet."

Taken from their release notes, this location I will admit did scare me a little bit at first. I'm TERRIFIED of Aliens. Yet I HAD to see what it was about... It's so gorgeous, more than a little worth the trip in to visit. It was a gorgeously, serene, and yes eerie all at once. 
Of course, I had to get dressed up, it wasn't just going to be normal looking astronaut either... It was a Rudhified, would actually never survive if she wore it in Space!

Abandoned but a Rally to Rescue is coming!

In an abandoned city - Elysium City of Templemore -there was the most beautiful of derelict theatres... It's run-down halls no longer hosted the classical theatre or opera of it's hey day, now the only inhabitants of this place are the forgotten, the homeless and the left behinds... The once opulent theatre's only inhabitants are the cities stray animals... Cats and Dogs of all shapes and sizes, Oh and one crazy lonely lady that lives with them and keeps them all safe... 

That is until the Rally to Rescue starts tomorrow when all of the cute little puppies will be collected and cared for... 
Rally to Rescue is an MC run shopping event that is to raise awareness and donations for a very worthy cause. Good friends of the Gators MC, the Ghost Bullies MC have run more than one Rally to Rescue event, and tomorrow we see the opening of another awesome shopping extravaganza. 
The shopping event this time is focused on the amazing charity that is Operation Delta Dogs, a group with "a mission to rescue homeless dogs and train them to be assistance dogs for veterans who suffer from PTSD and TBI." Being run by an MC that has chosen to be a voice for Pit bulls, the Ghost Bullies welcome you to an event that promises to be great... "we believe it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of ALL abused, abandoned, and homeless animals. Rescues are often these animals, last and only hope," a statement from the GBMC as they prepare to open their sim and welcome 32 brilliant designers, and anyone with a passion for shopping to come and see what is on offer... Make a donation, get something awesome and save an animal!!

The Glamorous Face of Death

I have a desire to do something a little different today, and so I'm being a little bit artsy fartsy creative! It hasn't happened for a while that I want to do something a little bit fantasy creative, and whilst I was talking to my MC sister Lil I got a notion to take a close up shot of my face - apparently I'm good at them LOL... 
Opening my hoard and diving into it can sometime be fairly treacherous, but I made straight for my cosmetics and face accessories folders and dug around for a while... The result was the gorgeous face of Death... 

Death is often portrayed as something dark and scary and evil looking, but why couldn't death be glamorous or magical looking... 
A face that started because of two different make-up layers eventually formed into what I was thinking a glamorous version of Death may look like... I started with two - possibly not meant to be worn together but still cute when layered up - applier layers. I'm a LOGO head user, and sometimes finding the right skins and make-ups can be a bit of a nightmare, but with these appliers I got very lucky. The stars are actually the base layer - I won these in a gacha at VileCult when I went to check out their brand new store. The second layer that I applied was a FLF release from CURELESS - if you know anything about me you may well realise that I am kinda addicted to CURELESS - and that gave the skullish look to my Death face... 
It looked good but it was missing something... It really did not seem to work with human eyes... I NEEDED something to fix that... Then I remembered something new that I had been sent to blog. A set of eyes from a gacha for the Twisted Hunt at SongBird. These eyes are like crystals, brightly coloured crystals, and they seemed perfect for the eyes of Death. As I was looking at eyes however, I found the amazing Seventh Eye Attachment that I had totally forgotten I'd bought from CURELESS a few months ago... THEY MADE IT COMPLETE!!! Framing the face with a long white shock of Moon Hair, I was happy... 
So this is the glamorous and magical face of Death... At least that's my interpretation of it anyway LOL...
