Although I will admit, that YES It's a chance for me to play dress up, and I NEVER miss a chance to play dress up... So I did what the masses did, and dressed in red, and made myself look a bit romancy angellic lol...

The Dead side of me is happy, the rainbow sparkles side of me is happy, and now I can get on and share some of my other happiness with everyone... Although at the moment I'm making myself a little down-in-the-dumps as I miss being at home in the UK, and am therefore thinking about planning a trip to visit Ol'Blighty.
Still least in SL I can unleash some of my crazed Britishness, and am going to do so today while I take a ride on a tube train through London. Of course I'm not just going to sit normally while I ride in the train, OH NO lol, I'm going for a train ride London Punk Style!!!
The Rewind event is almost coming to a close now, you have until September 10th to get in an grab any last minute goodies that you may have missed, but I couldn't help myself taking some time to share in the Punk attitude. I LOVE Punk music, and I love the style of dress too, I wish I was braver in RL or I'd wear more of it myself... In SL though I can and will, so today that's what I'm going to do... As you can see!
The outfit is an amalgamation of things including a gorgeous punk set called Vivienne from Dead Dollz - available at Rewind - and then went to town adding all kinds of Punkish accessories... Some awesome Punk Sunglasses from Ama hidden a little behind the fringe of this fierce looking [LCKY] Hair, ripped stockings and a handy place for her ciggies even, but my most favourite accessorising piece has to be my little friend.
My favourite item is this AMAZEBALLS CUREMORE Punk Rat Gal... This is a gacha item along with the stockings and choker that I'm wearing, but she's not a rare item so possibly easier to get!?

Tis April 1st, and although I'm no April Fool I do feel like doing something a little silly and foolish.
Maybe it's not as foolish as I'd like but it's a subtle yet stylish nod to the silly and that for me is enough right now. I had a really strong urge to do something pretty, and I hope that I managed to combine those two ideas...
Thinking outside the box is hard at times I admit, but I actually will admit that I love the results that I came up with... My April Fool hehe...
Taken at Momento Mori's Cathedral in the Clouds, my subtle nod to the fool is actually my little friend. Sir Fox is my stole, and he's a past gacha release from the store NOMAD. He seemed really fitting with this outfit not only because of the soft elegance but come on, he's a fox with a hat and although you don't get a clear view of it, there's a monocle there too LOL... I love him...
He looks elegant when combined with my pretty dress, a dress that I picked up at Trés Chic this month from the store The Oak. This soft set of curls from Annie from Phoenix - which I bought in reds but the basic colour is white which I had to make a copy of and keep before I dyed it - is adding more to that ribboned dress wrapping too.
Now I warned you it wasn't a very foolish April Fool, I don't think I'm really on my game at the moment after the headache yet. It is however very pretty so instead of an April fool you get an April pretty, any complaints??!

I didn't sleep very well again last night... I need to stop complaining about the heat but damn it was hot LOL, sorry... It can't be very interesting to hear me complain about that all the time!

It got me inspired, along with a recent purchase, to play with my demonic angel side...
I am sure you have seen this dress by now, if you haven't let me just ask "are you living under a rock?" This Blueberry original is so pretty that I simply had to have it. It's a different shape from a lot of the recent Blueberry releases, less form fitting and more loose - which is perfect for this kind of hot weather - the Scarlet Dresses come in multiple colours AND have a hud to change the colours of the wings!
Of course I had to accessorise a little bit, with my favourite Halo from Remarkable Oblivion, but then being an Angel was not enough. When the Angel in me is let out, you know that little demon in me has to be too...

Christmas comes but once a year, DAMMIT... This year for Christmas, I got my present a little early LOL... I have to thank Come Soon poses for making this pose prop because it was they that allowed me to get an extra special Christmas gift from the boys that I am surrounded by daily...Sometimes being a photographer has it's perks hehe...
The pose is a new release from Come Soon Poses for the Erotigacha event, that runs until January 2nd... The pose is from a gacha series called Hard Rock and this is the rare pose number 5. What makes it even more rare is that the boys I asked to pose are not normally the first to get naked - OK HellBone and Chopper are but Gary and Kris not so much - so let me introduce you to what some might say is the best side of the Gator Boys... From left to right, we have British guy who sounds so British that even his accent has a laugh - Gary, then my Accountabilabuddy (yes that's really a word) - Chopper, to my right is my hubby - HellBone, and lastly my shit brother who needs my magical powers to make him poop - Kris.

That's it, playtimes over... Some days you have to take a step back from things and realise that you're a big girl and you don't need the security blanket so to speak... Don't get me wrong I'm not on a drama llama rant, but I had a realisation in the last few days and I am hoping that going forward I will feel differently about something that has been on my mind far too much to be healthy lately. I'm saying to myself, "that's it Rudh, Playtime's over" and along with it being a brilliant idea to use for a somewhat kinky picture, I find myself feeling better!
I went to take pictures at one of my favourite picture spots again... Nox Arcanus! I LOVE it here, there are so many different areas to get the perfect shots in! An adorable outfit made with padlocks and zippers to cheer myself up, and a rather naughty look to my skin and face, set the mood of this photo in the dark stormy castle, but I had another simple statement to make that could not be captured here... So when I went home, I was able to make the statement truly clear...
The Letis Tattoo let's me say it all "I am not like the others"... A statement not an opinion, and I am happy to move on and be myself from now on... Lesson learned!!!

I've resisted the urge to do anything Christmassy, but now it's December 1st and apparently in SL it's getting VERY hard to avoid it LOL... Christmas fever seems to have taken over in SL just as much as it has in RL, and although I have held off as long as I can, today seems like a good day to just embrace the holiday season... Who knows what the festivities may bring!?!
I know at least that I won't be with my RL family this Christmas, and so I plan on making things with my SL family feel just that bit more special. I will admit though that not being able to see my parents at this time of year always makes me a little depressed, and perhaps a little trapped?

I fell in love with these baubles from {anc} - available now at Tannenbaum Holiday Market. First let me talk about the market, as it's really cute and worth checking out... It's basically what it says on the box, a shopping spree full of Christmas decor!! I bought a few things - some wreaths from Jian, a million Christmas baubles and even my tree, but it was in fact this particular bauble that drew me in! As soon as I saw these {anc} Glass Ornaments I HAD to have one, of course me being me I wanted the snow version which is a Rare but I have a secret weapon and she managed to find me one in trade for the rainy version!!! Thank you Secret Weapon!!!
The little snow imp - my character for the day - seems to have been trapped in the bauble for a while though, all that snow built up on her wings, and she's lucky that there is so much hair in her Amoret Style - from Truth - to keep her a little warmer!

Yesterday I went to the BESTEST sale of the year... Living in Holland, English books are expensive, but there is a store called the American Book Centre that has a special sale once or twice a year. At this sale books are sold by the kilo! I bought 6 kilos, spent 30 Euros and saved myself a total of 180 Euros from the original book prices - that's $34 and $204 in USD for those of you that need a conversion!
Anyone who knows Rudh by now, would know she's a shopping demon, but in RL at the book sale it was apparent that it's not limited to SL...
I got all dressed up for a SL shopping trip this weekend too hehe...
My top was a past release from DirtyStories, and OK it's a little bit rude but it was perfect for what I wanted it to say when I put it on LOL... I wore it with a pair of the SPIRIT store's Daydreem Shorts, for a relaxed and comfortable yet still stylish look. Finally accessorising with a pair of Creepy Dorothy Gales from Epic, a Yummy Geometric Necklace and as a final touch one of the Remarkable Oblivion Chomp Purses that I simply HAD to have!

I've been on a bit of a blogging roll today, and I'm feeling like going for a posting hat-trick with something simple but pretty... This could even become a new profile photo for me as it really sums up my love of pretty and macabre all in one close up portrait of my vain self!
It's a simple photo and I have played with the lighting a little but the super pale skin is one of the Rigor Mortis Skins from Stargazer Creations. I then decided on some pretty dead eyes that are some of my all time favourite dead eyes from The Skinnery, and bright red lips... The red wasn't working for me until I decided to smear it all over my cheek, accidentally slicing my face open with a ring as I did so... You too can get this look from anitelle, just bare in mind that a smile like this HURTS!
As a final touch and a nod to my macabre dead girl side, I had fallen into a weird love - as only a girl can with her new accessories. This Hair Flower Accessory is a fairly new release from DirtyStories for Totally Top Shelf. It wasn't too badly priced, but wasn't cheap either, I didn't care though I HAD to have it!!

OK so this started out as a post about a contest entry that I'd been working on, but it will no doubt end up as me getting all excited and gushing about one of my favourite stores - SO let's just pretend that it was going to be like that all along and start as I mean to go on shall we LOL...
DirtyStories, is one of my go-to stores for all things accesories of a darkish style... I wouldn't be coming here to buy uber cute kawaii, but the cuteness that comes out of this place is just the right amount of darkness to give my favourite clothes the edge hehe... Adding a little Rudhish twist to everything!!
If you haven't checked out DirtyStories and you're the kinda person that likes somewhat twisted, somewhat macbre and downright cute all at once, then you really should check out this store! I LOVE IT and cannot sing it's praises enough!!
So when I saw the advert come through the store group about a photography contest, with a chance to win 5000L I thought, DAMN I need to have a go at that... I doubt I will win, there are so many awesome photographers out there, but it never hurts to try does it!!!
I went all out with the contest entry outfit - yes the one in the photo above - everything from the dress - Carnival Dress - worn with the Bitch Top over it, to the hair accessories - the Mechanical Bunny and Rose Headband with skulls - and the Dolls Lace Eyepatch can be found for yourself at the DirtyStories mainstore! The mainstore is actually the background to my photo, so hey you can even find cute places to pose in the store!! It all seemed a little Wonderland, so once again I've transported myself and become Rudhie in Wonderland!

Recently I met someone in SL that I can actually say seems like a true Magician... I'd seen his art on Flickr, and I'd even met people that had photos by him but it was my sister Solde that introduced me to his photos... More like little works of art, the man behind these beautiful creations is Skip Staheli - owner of Purple Cows Photo Studio...
His work is amazing and has the ability to evoke emotion, but having never been one to pay for photos I thought a photo of Rudh by Skip would be out of reach... Until one day when Solde told me I would be having a photo appointment with the magician photographer!!!
She told me, everything had been handled, all I needed to do was find myself a killer outfit!!!! That's just what I did, and then the day came around and I was like an overly excited fan girl...
Mr Staheli put me right at ease and was given full control. He asked some simple questions, trying to find out what I would like, to which I answered him about being like a dead dolly, and that although I can be bright colours I'd more often be something sad. Then he began to play with me... The resulting photo being the small shot above. When I saw this I thought, UGH how can anyone make that look like something amazing... I needn't have worried, Skip Staheli worked some AMAZING magic and look at the outcome!
Isn't it totally freaking gorgeous?! Sadness with a hit of something being planned and a twinkle in her eye hehe... He's called the picture "Not Made of Stone" maybe because I was saying I was always a dead girl, but perhaps he could see the life in me hehe?! He tweaked and manipulated me in a way that makes it look like an amazing version of me LOL...
Needless to say, I'm in love with this photo hehe... Thank you Mr Staheli!!! You've made me look beautiful... Thank you to Solde too, I wouldn't have this amazing artwork without you!!! *hugs*

All of my items, besides things that are large collections boxed into one box are only 10L or 20L, and that in some cases will include rares... I have all kinds of random cute things, and am updating things constantly so on my stall you never know what you will find - guess it's random like me then lol - but everything is cheap, everything is cute, and everything needs a good home. Strange to see a little angel sitting in the clouds and enjoying the sunlight, especially when you think that she's an angel of Horror, but that's what she is... Don't let her innocent look fool you!?!
I'll share with you a possible little secret right now, and that is, Angels are like flamingoes, the colour of their feathers changes depending on what they eat! Now I've always believed that angels eat cake LOL... Why else would something that tastes like Heaven have been created?! Duh?! LOL... This would explain the creamish wings they have right?
In this case, you can tell she's a Horror Angel, her wings are blood red, you can tell what she eats hehe...
Lots of different things make this Horror Angel look the way she does, things from various events too... For example the Florchild Halo that she is wearing is a Oneword release from The Horror, and there is a handful of things here that have been past event releases - such as the Thorned Beauty Rose Jewellery from roobix - but the entire reason for this photo was in fact one item... The Tasty Pudding Vamp Cobweb Stockings are that reason. They are available in a series of different colours, and have the ability to wear the thorns without the socks too! These socks are a release for the Simply the Best line-up of Horror Haute this month, by the way, just so you know hehe...
So if you ever see an Angel with red wings, no matter how pretty they are... RUN!!

Today I don't seem to be able to get on-line... I really hope that it's just a simple SL error and not something to do with a little griefer issue that has arisen around the Gators MC... Some little freak with too much time on his hands decided he didn't like me and the club because I have been one of very few people to tell him he needs to behave more like an adult than a little boy, purely and simply because why should he mess up someone else's SL just because he cannot find happiness in his own?!
Luckily I have plenty of blogging to be getting on with... I could do some Hair Fair blogging, or some Horror Haute blogging, but to be honest I feel like being lazy, it feels like a weekend and all I want to do is RELAX lol... So I'm going Surfing!
The beach happens to be the same one I went to when I was visiting vampire friends the other day, but the surf boards called me back and so it's cowabunga dude and away I go...
The surfboard is a pose prop from Image Essentials called Surfin Aussie Style. It is stuffed with a series of different poses and textures and is usable for both guys and girls!
My Bikini is actually part of an outfit from SAKIDE called Angharad - this isn't actually meant as a bikini but it comes like this in a set with a skirt too, I just loved the way it looked and so a bikini it became LOL...
Then I accessorised with a colour that for me is more than a little strange LOL, I went PINK!! Aggie will be so proud of me for going pink willingly! I wore a single Ann Lily from Lode - the store I will tell you a million times over is THE BEST flower maker in SL! - and some adorable pink Sass Shades from [atooly], as well as some Edge Cuffs from Lost Junction, to create a pretty in pink, surfer girl...
If only I could learn how to stand up on this thing LOL...

One last post for today and I wanted to show you something strange! Somehow - please don't ask me how, I've got no idea - it has happened again... Hell has caused us to adopt another of SL's strays... This time it's a baby panda!
What started out as Hell luring the sweet and innocent Athrun to the Dark Side, began heading them down a slippery slope until jokes about being his father actually started to mean a little more... Now I have a step son who, along with my hubby, thinks that Star Wars is the next best thing since Cake!
So please bare with me as I once again introduce you to a member of my SL Family I never knew I wanted and swore to myself that I would never again adopt more "kids"... It's time to show the world I am weak as I introduce to you my "Stepson" - that is rapidly becoming more son without the step part - Athrun "Panda" Holmes!
So happy to have you in our lives Ath, even if mine now has a little less cake in it... I count myself as fairly lucky to have someone that is willing to distract HellBone and keep him out of my way. He's also very good at entertaining HellBone with talk of Star Wars and building... But what makes me the most surprised is that when you look at the photo of the three of us, Athrun really does look a little like HellBone's offspring LOL... There is a definite family connection there!!! I mean OK sometimes he does have a little more fashion flair - obviously something he picked up from yours truly - but I just couldn't resist taking our new family photo with him and his dad looking so cute hehe...

Who'd have thought it?! For what may be possibly my first of two Horror Haute based posts today, I am taking a trip to the beach to my friend- Mrs Dracula's beach house! She doesn't tend to use this place much during the daylight hours, so when she offered and told me to make use of everything including all her clothing in the wardrobe I jumped at the chance!
Being a vampire at the beach has it's perks I guess, you never have to fight to get the perfect spot and that moon glow must be pretty good for keepng a pale shimmering complexion, but when you're using a vampires things during a daytime trip to the beach, bare in mind that a Black Parasol will block out all of the light LOL...
The beach I am visiting today is one called Amavatar Paradise, and if you're a photographer this place is great because you can rez props and the like here - just a little tip for those of you that are interested - I needed to find somewhere in which I could rez some of the awesome collection that came from Livid for this month's Horror Haute!
In fact with the exception of my skin and hair - which was a past Arcade release from Truth, everything you see me wearing as well as the bag and furniture comes from Livid for the Simply the Best Horror Haute event. Yes, you see that right, you not only get the furniture and the bag, you also get the swimsuit, shoes and hat!!! It's such a bargain!
