The Pixel Fae and Her Arcade Aura

A magical day off that I spent at home in my jammies doing a few odd chores and reading the rest of the time... When I was cleaning the music was loud, cheesy, pop with many, many cheesy karaoke moments, using whatever I had to hand... Just a note to those who do this too, TOILET BRUSHES ARE NOT EVER TO BE USED AS MICROPHONES... Anything else is fair game, and can make you feel like a magical star... 

There is a loud, rumbling music that can be heard across certain regions of Second Life today as the adorable band that is Arcade Aura - which coincidentally is the name of the collection from everfaery for the newly opened round of Cyber Fair that includes the Wings and Left stocking shown in my outfit - in their matching stage outfits are warming up... Lots of loud cheesy pop music, glittering lights with stars and sparkles, and a lead guitarist that would make things a lot easier to rehearse if she remembered to plug the guitar in LOL...

Gittering at the Roller Disco

I need some happy, I want to let my hair down and dance, and although all I'm listening to at the moment seems to be Black Sabbath, I feel like it brings me to tears every now and again... 
I might have to switch it up and listen to something a bit more cheesy pop as I head into my last day of work... Tomorrow I have one more work shift then I am on holiday for a couple of weeks YAY... 

I feel like I want to go back into my past and one of those crazy fun Saturday nights that we used to go to at the youth rollerskating rink... It was nothing special as they just turned a sports hall into the rink by adding a DJ booth at one end and spent a few hours playing cheesy pop music... 
I feel like that's what I need right now, it's definitely feeling like that wil help me get through the next few days before I go home...

When he comes home early...

I've been reading a lot in the last year, and it's something that I plan on continuting as it gives my mind a chance to stop thinking about the real things it has to focus on and starts letting my mind wander to places that are not mine to actually live in... 
I've always loved to read but my tastes in reading material have DEFINITELY changed as I've matured. Though I guess a lot about me has definitely changed since I was a teenager...

When I was a teenager I LOVED a fantasy, perhaps with a little romantic twist and although I was NEVER a Twilight or Harry Potter fan, I loved Lord of the Rings and was obsessed with the Twisted Disney series. I've also had a penchant for historical romances and even read  Stephen King or two in the past... BUT NOW... I'm the kind of girl that likes Smut... The darker the better. Give me a dark twisted stalker, maybe one in a mask, and with a penchant for touch-her-and-die vibes, if he's older that's better lol... I'm a girl with a dark stalker, mask wearing, Daddy kink apparently lol... 
I've just finished reading about  guy that has some fun with his babysitter... It's basically porn but without the moving pictures... So today I felt like adding a bit of a tease of a picture... The babysitter sitting around at the home of the kids she's sitting, surrounded by the clutter of the kids she's watching... Pulling her own little pink heart toy - a Love Dildo from Krescendo - out of her bag, as the naughty book she was reading started to get good. She didn't hear the door slowly open, she didn't see the father of the children standing there watching her until it was too hard to hide what she was upto or what he was hiding in his pants...

Prepping for a Month of Wigs & Pride

Today is June 1st. There are things about today that need to be noticed... Today marks the fact that exactly 6 months from now we are on the slippery slope to Christmas. It's the month in which I finish the study I've had to participate in so that I can move up the working ladder. There are things in SL too... June 1st is the start of Pride Month and it's the opening day of the annual Hair Fair... Two massively important events that need to be celebrated in their own ways... 

Both of these events are for fantastic things... Both of these things need have awareness raised for them...
I'm always an advocate for Pride Month. I've had my experiences and enjoyed every moment of them, I don't tend to label myself but no matter what I'll always ben an ally for the cause. Some of my best, most favourite and most wonderful people identify themselves as being within the Gay community and I love the fact that the world has become a lot more free so that they are free to live their lives as they choose. 
On the subject of love, one of those charity events that I feel deserves a lot of love has started. The annual Hair Fair event has opened it's doors with bucket loads of linden dollars being donated to a cause that needs more attention. Wigs for Kids is the charity of choice, and if you've been following my blog at all over the years you'll know how much I ove this cause. A charity that creates wigs for children that have lost their hair be that because of illness or some other reason thereofre boosting their confidence and allowing them to feel stronger and more like they fit in... How can you not want to get behind something like that?! PLUS because it's a Hair based shopping event in SL that is not only raising awareness but also raising funds, you can get your pretty little bald head into some fancy new wigs as you donate to the cause.
So this is your early monthly warning, be prepared for lots of rainbows as I celebrate Pride, and lots of wigs as I enjoy Hair Fair...

OMG... The Dolly Carnage!

I'm a Barbie Girl, in a Barbie World... Life in plastic, it's fantastic...
I make no secret of the fact that Rudh is my adult version of a my childhood Barbie! I dress her up, I make her do things that Barbie used to do, and well OK sometimes the term Adult Barbie can definitely applied in more ways than one LOL... Yet there is one thing that this Barbie has which is better than my RL ones ever used to have... She's safe from my doll destroying sister hehe... 

Honestly Rudh got a taste of that experience when she was playing around in her new A Toy's Story Life, after getting herself trapped in the Barlie box - from Ananas at The Warehouse Sale - and ended up in a situation that was very similar to the one my Sister put my RL dolls in... 
It was like a toy carnage... Some had already been caught in the Tantrum - a gacha collection filled with ripped teddies and broken dolls from Sakura - some were waiting to be broken...

Just a little Make-Up...

It's been one of those quiet, boring kinda days. I often find myself thinking "wouldn't it be nice to have some excitement" but then I hear on the news that there was a knife fight in a place very close to home and I have a change of heart... Perhaps the boring is better than anything too wild and exciting! 
I'd like to do something exciting... Go out for a night on the town, re-decorate my entire house, or even travel to some far flung place... These things are obviously not happening in RL, but in SL... Well... Time to get glammed up, I'm heading out to party!!

She's getting all prettied up in her bedroom, yes her bedroom just happens to be a comfy padded cell in a psych ward right now. If only her teddies hadn't tried to stop her, there wouldn't have been so much in the way of carnage! 
She's all dressed up though, in one of her favourite new dresses. A somewhat sheer "Zelda" dress from Psycho Barbie, and all she needs now is a little make-up to showcase her brand new face wounds - from Misschevious - she carved them herself, a little Monster she is!

This Milkshake is bloomin' MOOVELOUS!

I've been very much playing around with different looks lately, and I KNOW that this seems to be something that has appeared a little lately, but for some reason today I found out that I like being a little cow... Drove the hubby made repeatedly singing "My Milkshake brings all the boys to the Barn", and yes I know it's the wrong words but I was in a Barn, not a yard LOL... It's been a lot of fun, frolicking like a cute little calf for the day!!! It's getting late though, so maybe I should finish my moovelous day with some milk and cookies, before I hit the hay! 

I feel like I make an adorable little cow, something that I never thought I'd actually say - although Hell has been known to call me a Cow, and a Heffer, at various times! I look so stinking cute!! 
I wasn't planning on doing the whole cow look until I stumbled upon a sMoochie tattoo - that's the cow print tattoo from Oddysee by the way - that I had bought on a discount weekend sale and stashed away for a rainy day, and then remembered the amazing CryBunBun Breathless Corset that I'd bought in the So Kawaii Sundays sale this weekend had a cow print version... I was frolicking like a little calf the first time they go outside in the spring, I was... 
Now would my milkshakes bring all the boys and girls to the barn? They come in strawberry, chocolate and vanilla flavours!! Or if you don't like that we have regular milk too... OH AND COOKIES... Who doesn't want milk and cookies?!

When the family is away...

So it's been a little quiet around the Gators MC today, which in so many ways is GREAT. I love having the family around but sometimes, it's nice to just have a little time to myself to hide away and do things that make me feel good about myself. It started with some picture taking, then some gentle inventory sorting and finally PJ time and playing games on my phone, which thanks to some rather wandering hands may or may not have become something else LOL... 

Get your minds out of the gutter, I was behaving watching cooking videos on Youtube - at least that's the story I'm telling and sticking to!
It was fun to just laze around on my bed, getting hungry watching those mouth watering videos - hehe! That was until I got so into the video, that I almost fell off the bed!

Back at Home but not yet better!

If you've ever had Gall Stones, then you will know how I am feeling right about now... After a very scary week of being rushed into the hospital, and put through an emergency operation to remove not just 4 LARGE gall stones, but also my gall bladder which had become infected meaning I had to have a drain in my side so that any toxic liquids could escape, I am finally back at home... 

I'm feeling a little worse for wear... I definitely won't be back up to speed any time soon, BUT for now I'm HOME!!! That should help with the recovery process! I don't think I'll be able to do much in the way of blogging for a bit, but I wanted to at least let everyone know that I'm alive, I'm working on getting better and I miss everyone! 
Luckily in SL, Rudh has the perfect new bedroom in which to hide from the world until she feels well enough to go out and rock out again! A gorgeous set from Petite Mort called "Wanderlust" that is available as a gacha collection from The Imaginarium until September 30th. It's soft, feminine and has a yearning for adventure, but right now I think that the only adventure I'll get is in the pages of a book or behind my eyelids... Speaking of which it's time for me to lay down again, but I will be back soon, I promise!

A Fairy High Tea

I've had a lovely day having tea at my Grandparents house in RL today, but aside from spending time with my family, I have to say one of my favourite aspects of being at my Grandparents house is their awesome garden. Hidden in the woods, at the bottom of their garden is an area that really seems like a fairytale woodland, there's bluebells everywhere and a cute little brook that would make the perfect riverside location of any good fairystory!!! 
So after lunch I went for a walk into the fairy wood, and as I sat in the sun, it felt like the perfect place for a fairy tea... Funnily enough I had a post ready and waiting for a moment just like this today! 

There's nothing better than a fairytale picnic, nestled in a sunny yet shady spot, and to be honest, furniture and fairy folk aside, this was just like the little nook in my Grandparents garden! 
The furniture though is more than a little epic... I LOVE this set of garden furniture - that's available from Violetility until the end of today for Palette! 
I added some yummy cakes - from random.Matter - which were perfect for a high tea, then found a magic teapot - from the Disorderly Confetti Set - that would make special tea for the fairy folk, and waited... Sins Released... Sloth needs more Sleep

Today has been one of those cold, wet, Wintery feeling days. When the bad and cold weather seems to cling on for dear life and all you want to do is hide under a blanket!
Either that or its the fault of another one of those Demonic beings that were unleashed by Image Essentials, playing games with my tired little head. 

It seems like Demoness Sloth has found herself somewhere warm and cosy to take a bit of a nap... She's commandeered my adorable new Cushion Cuties - from Razzberry Inc at this month's round of The Arcade - and in fact it looks like she's wearing my new Thermal Onesie too... How rude?!I think the cheeky demon even stole my teddy?!
She's decorated her space so it feels soft and comforting, with some gorgeous dream catchers - though I wonder if they are actually catching Nightmares since she's a demon? - yet there are definitely signs of Demonic Nature to her... It's not as inviting as it should be... She's wearing her patent pending Narcolepsy Helmet, and has some rather large dark circles around her eyes, showing off her Slothish nature, but that eye in the middle of her chest... The all seeing eye... Even when she's asleep this demon is watching you...

Cake, Donuts & Ice-Cream

Sticking with the rather girlie side of myself today... I'm actually enjoying letting her out to play but it's not something that tends to last very long LOL. Pink Overload happens to me pretty quickly, and it's a colour, like purple, that I really tend to avoid! Yet this time, just this once I couldn't help myself... I had to get a little pink... All because of the icing!!!

I LOVE all things food related in SL, I have a large collection of yummy deliciousness and when it comes to candies and sweet things in SL - as in RL - I'm a bit of a sucker for it.
So when one of my store crushes - Violetility - released this awesome Cake Couch and Pouf combination for the Candy Fair this year, and not only are there Confetti, Chocolate and Strawberry sets there's also a Blue Alice themed set.
I couldn't find the right way to display it and actually got lucky when I stumbled on the fact that you can rez at Whole Wheat when you're in the group!! So I did, I went a little crazy, choosing a photo booth that worked for what I wanted, and rezzing first the furniture, then a decorative Cupcake Chandelier - from The Looking Glass - and a few more cakey things... 
Next it was time to get myself dressed, I had this awesome bodysuit from Cubic Cherry which perfectly fit the cake feel, and added some ice cream - because they go so well together, cake and ice cream - in the form of these amazing shoes from Ingenue - both of which are available at Candy Fair - with a few Half-Deer accessories, and voilá I looked like I'd fit in well at Willy Wonka's Candy Factory!

Ahhhh Lazy Sunday... A morning of peace, relaxation and staying in your PJs. It's something that everyone should do, and something that I know I enjoy quiet a bit... Work comes later, but right now I'm going to be taking it easy lol! Have a very important wedding to go to later in SL, not one but two of our Gators are getting married - yes to each other it's not two weddings in one day - and so I'll be playing proud Momma Gator, but as I already said, for now, relaxation in my jammies time! 

Rudh is going to be doing the same, but I'm not sure if you've noticed or not that Rudh is a little bit different LOL... As a living dead doll she doesn't even sleep like a normal person - choosing instead a sexy looking coffin, that forms part of a pose called "Dreams" from Come Soon Poses available until May 22nd at The Dark Style Fair! She's such a deep sleeper that even standing up doesn't seem to bother her,Count Bearcula can't stand sleeping upright but for Rudh it's not a problem apparently!!! If you look really closely you will even notice that the not-so-sleeping-beauty is actually drooling too!!! So attractive isn't she?!
Although, while on the subject of The Dark Style Fair, I mustn't forget to point out this AWESOME Outfit by WONDERLOST. I'm not sure if it's meant to be Pyjamas, but you know Rudh's a little bit weird at the best of times! The Zoie Outfit from WONDERLOST comes in a collection of different mix-n-match tops and bottoms, and make comfy looking outfits for the girl who loves the darker side of life. It's great that you can combine pieces in your own way, it's letting us be creative and that always makes me happy!!!
Maybe I should wake her though, she will need a lot of primping and preening to get her ready for the wedding today... Someone open the curtains and let in a little more light perhaps?

Back in my Childhood Bedroom

Well I'm back home at last, after a very stormy trip over the North Sea, HellBone and I made it home to my family and it feels freaking great to be here... Yesterday was spent chillaxing - with a quick trip to the grocery store - and an early night, but my gosh it always feels great to wake up in my old bedroom, in my old bed... I have so many good memories, and my childhood is wrapped up in this place like a cosy little dream.
This year it's 20 years since the creation of one of the weirder children's TV programmes of my youth, and my sister and I spent a good few hours giggling at the things we used to love back then. The 90's were my childhood, being back in my old childhood room - as well as a certain event in SL - has made me smile as I sit here writing this post with my early morning cup of coffee!

I was very much the typical 90's pre-teen... In love with a boyband called Take That, and sharing a bedroom with my little sister, I was lucky enough to be given all of the popular toys that a 90's kid could want! YES I even had a Tellytubbie doll, a Furbie - like the gacha collectables from REIGN - and a Tamagotchi - like the gacha toys from Luas.
Jelly bracelets and Jelly Shoes were a massive thing in my childhood... It was so cool to be seen wearing them, and when I add some of my other favourite toys like Spirograph and Trolls, this picture as much as my RL bedroom makes me feel happy. I am so excited that SL had a 90s themed Rewind Event! 
I LOVEEEEEEEEE being home, it's going to be a great chance for me to unwind and get rid of some of my stress, but never fear I won't forget to share things here too...

I´m on my way HOME!!!

February 1st, the month that is supposed to be all about romance, but I am so not into that. Hell and I have for the last few years given each other a card but no really big gestures as he shows he loves me every day. Sometimes it's hard to see but I know it's there, usually!
So Valentines Stuff aside - as I know I'm likely to do something about it later - I am more excited for something that is coming later in the month... FINALLY I am going to be able to take some time off and go to visit my family in the UK. My countdown is running and 23 days from now I will be in bonny ol' England!

I miss being in the UK a lot, and homesickness is a very big problem for me. It's not that I'm patriotic, and I do talk to my family all the time, but I just miss the little things - wandering through the British shopping malls, curling up under a blanket and watching crappy TV with mum, or even going to the supermarket, I miss hearing British voices on the streets and although it sounds lame I get excited any time I see a British number plate on a car in Holland LOL...
So today, as I start my countdown I am going to overload you with a little Britishness and a bit of the Brit Punk nature too - maybe that's just my outfit?!
I love this Sofa - it's a London Gacha Item from Boudoir, but I wanted it as soon as I saw it not really giving a monkies that this was the rare and going to be harder to get. It's perfect for you and a friend, although in my case that friend is a Poindexter from BoOgErs, but he and I are still going to bask in the glow of the neon lights - from GOOSE - and watch the London City Skyline - decor from free bird!
My London Look - as Maybelline says "get the London Look" - is actually an adorable pair of separates from JACKALOPE, which is becoming a new addiction store of mine I feel. This isn't the Arctic Express?!

Every year around this time, things in Holland start getting a little crazy. People start going firework mental - setting them off left, right and centre, even though it's the middle of the day and you cannot see them anyway... It's about this time of year that my dog changes from a happy and spoilt princess, into what can best be described as someone suffering with Parkinson's Disease. She shakes constantly and won't eat or even go into our back yard to pee, it's horrible to witness! So this yea, as with last year, HellBone and I are packing up and taking the dog and cat to a holiday house in the woods! 
I'll still be able to write things but won't be in SL so it's going to be my last few hours in world this morning, and as I was packing Rudh up and bundling her into a train so she could head off for her vacation, the strangest thing happened... I think she's on the wrong train?!

Sitting down in the carriage she was joined by some rather interesting characters! Three Children, a Giant and one with an interesting hat made themselves comfortable and started talking about random things - one even brought a rat with him?!
The train itself is a DRD Arctic Express Carriage, that is whizzing along down the tracks and generally going a little faster than a Steam Engine should perhaps. These little characters are SO CUTE - and I say that as someone who really isn't interested in Harry Potter - when my RL sister saw them she went nutso... The Harry Potter based Bears are BoOgErS creations, which you can win yourself until December 31st at The Arcade... 
But I really do think I'm on the wrong train, I shouldn't be going to Hogwarts... I wanted to go to the Woods?!

Sleep now, Santa's Coming...

It's Christmas Eve... Tonight is the night that the Fat Man comes to visit - and I'm not talking about HellBone this time - he's the one that children are waiting for. 
I'm still not feeling very festive, but I'm trying my hardest to get into the spirit... Today I plan on watching a lot of Christmas movies and beginning to prepare myself for cooking the feast tomorrow. It's taking a LOT of mental pressure and a lot of wrangling of emotions, but I will get there... I think! 
For now I am just going to try to smile and wonder if I've been a good enough girl to make it onto the nice list this year... I know I've been bad, but surely he can't know that right?! 
I'll sleep next to the tree tonight in case I have to be there to argue my case with Mr. Claus... It seems like he's already been to visit Rudh though?! 

Rudh got lucky this year, it seems that the Fat Man took a liking to her... I only hope she got onto the nice list in the right way and didn't bribe her way on to it!
Isn't she cute when she's sleeping?! In RL I look like a monster when I'm sleeping, but in SL Rudh looks so cute and not a smidgen of drool in sight! Those cute little footsie Pyjamas and her mussed up hair still leave her looking adorable with her teddy, and she must have been a good girl... Look at all those presents from the Fat Man!
There´s a new Boogers Urnerwherl Bear, a Garbaggio Ocean Princess Doll, some gorgeous new heels and toys of an adult nature, as well as an adorable Jian Husky Puppy and a (Yummy) Diamond Snowflake Ring... Plus there seems to be a LOT of other presents in that Sack... 
Though Santa you have to come back, you didn't eat any of your treats that she selected specially from Lost Junction... 
Time for bed before long for me, I hope that Santa will treat me as well as Rudh but I´m going to sign off by saying a Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night...

Everyone needs a Sick Day right?!

Last night I hurt myself pretty bad, I thought I'd be strong and it wasn't so bad but this morning, oh my god this morning it's worse than I thought. I fell down the stairs yesterday, narrowly missing smashing a glass in my hand, as well as smacking my head on the wooden floor, but in the process - and I'm not sure how - I managed to hurt my foot. Now I hear from a RL friend that I may have broken a couple of toes! 
So maybe it's lucky, maybe it's not, but I am going to have to work from home today! 
Rudh's sick too... A different kind of sick, but still not going anywhere other than the sofa!

It's that time of year again, Cold and Flu season, and even our avatars are not immune to the sicknesses - even though we make them suffer ourselves LOL, and there is nothing more contagious in SL than Drama STDs!

Who does she call, alone in the dark?!

As a history geek I am constantly aware of all of the amazing ways that people have made changes that sculpted our current way of living, I'll admit that I am never going to be one of those people that understands modern technology - for example when buying a phone they ask what I want and I'm like "Something I can use for Whatsapp and take pictures on!" while HellBone talks about specs, far as I'm aware, Specs go on your face! - but in recent years, with the advancements of technology it really makes the mind boggle! Not so long ago if you wanted to talk to someone, you had to be in the same place as a person or write them a letter... Jump forward a couple of hundred years and so many things are possible... Meeting people from the other side of the world without leaving my bedroom, for example.
The fact that talking to someone via a video chat is now possible, is something that I couldn't live without the ability to do anymore. It's one of the best ways to communicate with my family - since I moved to Holland to be with the man I met through an online virtual world - and it was handy before then for other non-PG things which will not be mentioned, but I am sure you know what I mean!

The reason I'm rambling on about this today, is because last night I recieved a copy of the new "Video Call" pose prop from Come Soon - which is up for grabs until December 1st at Suicide Dollz. Now I have been sat like this in RL many times before, admittedly not in a dress this short - like the one I'm wearing from Blueberry - because well a dress this short and a video call like that makes it seem much more of the non-PG kind than the type I'm accostumed to at the moment... Not saying anything about the past here though LOL...  
I'm thinking that Rudh is not have a PG kind of call... Her Snooze Bear - from BoOgErS - has been tossed to the end of her bed, and she's using the kind of language that may make a sailor blush - thanks to the Little Llama 8Bit Chat Gacha Item... I wonder who she is talking to?!
