It's a snow day... The snow fell last night and now it's absolutely bloody freezing. Not a lot of snow shows on the ground, it's just a thin dusting, but really it's more of a problem of the wind chill... It's -6°c right now, but with the wind chill factor it feels more like -13°c. Not really a normal temperature for the Netherlands where we're supposedly warming up for spring?!
So today I'm having a lazy day. More curling up on the sofa reading my book... it's getting exciting in there LOL... Lucky Rudh gets a lazy time too!!
It's funny really, I mean you never feel the cold in SL, so going out in the snow in a bikini never seems an issue. Though when I feel cold in RL, I wrap myself up warm, even in SL?! Just like in RL too I'm wearing lazy clothes while doing some sorting in my SL house. Sometimes SL really matches my RL way too much...
I have some super soft floppy looking Chill Pants - from Spirit - on Rudh right now, with this adorably soft warm looking over sized Shy Sweater - from VCO which may still be available at Hentai Fair, although the event closes it's doors today!
While doing some cleaning I found something I'd totally forgotten about, and feel kind guilty for having done so... Before Christmas, for a gacha event that may have been Pocket Gacha, but please don't quote me on that, Fapple released a collection of furniture centred around a gorgeous collection of Bean Bag chairs... The Holly Jolly Bean Bag Chair Collection, has a few traces of Christmas but there are also a series of different chairs all with a cute animal theme... Something for a lover of all different animals... Worth trying the machine as all of the animals are SO CUTE!!!

A few days ago Lil and I went for a walk around The Nightmare Event, a spooky awesome and yet festive event that's perfect for this time of year and just creepy enough to get the blood pumping just a little faster. That's one of the things I LOVE about Halloween, the creepy nature of it... You should know by now that being dark and macabre has the happiest effect on me LOL...
So anyway, one of my favourite locations of The Nightmare was the tunnel of broken doll parts... Being a Living Dead Doll myself, it felt like I was among friends hehe...
Of course I was inspired by all the crazy following eyes, and well I'd been looking for the perfect place to take a picture of this one particular Halloween look!!!
The outfit came to life because of the discovery of this amazing bodysuit from MoonAmore... I love their stuff, the fact that they can pull together creepy and cute to make awesome just makes me a happy Rudh - hence why I'm now desperately trying to get into the Epiphany *facepalms* - but this outfit is something that I was excited to be given not so long ago... It's part of the Eyeholic Gacha Collection, which also includes these fabulous sunglasses and the adorable kitten...
Finishing the look with a collar from AsteroidBox and a glove from Oubliette I kinda felt like a bit of a Lady Gaga again, weird I know but I cant help feeling like I was born this way...

OK I mentioned it a few times in passing but as it's Monday morning and I am supposed to be at work, I think now is the time to talk a bit... I'm not going to go into all the boring and gory details but there is a possibility that in the next few weeks I could be losing my job and although I've always complained about it, when you think it may not be there anymore it's a real shock to the system!
With that having been said I know that I have a bit of a fight on my hands, to prove that I am able to adapt, to strive and to keep my chin up.

He suggested a bit of a work out - so unlike him I know - but I don't really think he anticipated the Right Hook that came his way, and although I may say different later, accidentally hit him on the chin! I will say, he was right, it was fun to beat him up LOL...

While I was perusing through Flickr yesterday, I found a challenge that appealed to me, and well I've been looking for a good challenge for a while so I thought YAY!!!
This is a Calendar Challenge... Now I'm not sure if we're supposed to create a picture every month for a year, BUT that's what I'm planning to do with it hehe. Lead by hostess Romyka Mars, the challenge is a Flickr group called "Second Life Calendar 2017 (Challenge), and all you need to do is share your calendar pictures to this group... To create the Calendars, Romyka has given us a link for a Photofunia Website, and it's really easy to do! All you need to do is take a pretty picture, load it up into the calendar then BOOM YAY!
Sounds simple, sounds fun right?!
January is always one of those cold wintery months when the festive glow of Christmas is over and the dawn of a new year starts. Resolutions are made and broken, and the weather is still at the right temperature that snuggling under blankets and vegging on the sofa is a requirement not a sign of laziness!

Last night I hurt myself pretty bad, I thought I'd be strong and it wasn't so bad but this morning, oh my god this morning it's worse than I thought. I fell down the stairs yesterday, narrowly missing smashing a glass in my hand, as well as smacking my head on the wooden floor, but in the process - and I'm not sure how - I managed to hurt my foot. Now I hear from a RL friend that I may have broken a couple of toes!
So maybe it's lucky, maybe it's not, but I am going to have to work from home today!
Rudh's sick too... A different kind of sick, but still not going anywhere other than the sofa!
It's that time of year again, Cold and Flu season, and even our avatars are not immune to the sicknesses - even though we make them suffer ourselves LOL, and there is nothing more contagious in SL than Drama STDs!

This weekend was a special holiday in Holland - the holiday of Sinterklaas - and I know I mentioned this about a few hundred times now but MY PARENTS WERE HERE!!! I had such a lovely time with my parents and it felt so good having them around, although now I feel a bit lost as they have gone back to the UK and left me behind.
Now as great as it always is having them here, it's a little bit frenetic, things go crazy and there is little peace in the house LOL... Today I am taking things easy, going to pamper myself and have a little luxury...

I was sent a lovely gift from a friend that she managed to turn into the perfect uniform for her dirty fantasies!
The Bodysuit - which was the innocent gift - as a Tentacio "Let's Dance" Bodysuit from the gacha at Kustom9. Now for some reason, and don't ask me how, this innocent and rather cute looking bodysuit developed a life of it's own and became the outfit worn by a very bad cheerleader at Deep Valley High School. Just for the record the school - and the random stranger that wandered into the sports hall whilst I was working on this picture - are not affiliated with my dirty cheerleader look, but the school itself is an AMAZING location for Roleplay and as a photo backdrop - just remember to join the group's guest role!
This cheerleader helps her own sports team to win, by distracting the boys on the opposition team. Her Pompoms - from Reign and Besom's NOSEBLEED Gacha collection - are just decoys, her real role on the Cheer Squad is as a distraction. The cigarettes are also a cover, this little cheerleader will do more than smoke behind the bike sheds, there are hints of what she will do by the smear on her glasses and her slightly ruined lipstick... BUT HEY HO anything for the boys on her team to win right?!

It's BLACK FRIDAY... Two words that are great alone but when put together are freaking awesome... The fact that it's Friday anyway is pretty good, the fact that it's still an American Holiday and therefore I have today off my SL job again is even better, but the best and most exciting thing of all is the fact that Black Friday is the day when stores drop their prices and have HUGE SALES!!! I LOVE a sale, though OK it can make me a little bit of a greedy girl, but grabbing a bargin always boosts you're happy levels! Least it does for me anyway...
BUT all that aside, another thing that comes from today being Black Friday which boosts my happy levels, is that I will be taking it as an official reason to wear Black LOL... Not that I need a reason but whatever... Today as well as shopping like a crazy person, I am going to be wearing black and dead too... I'm a dead crazy person... Who'd have ever guessed?!
Before I start my shopping extravaganza today I am going to play around like the living dead doll that I am and get myself all prettified!
I think it's a day for flowers!! Replacing my left eye with a gorgeous "Deception Flower" - from Aii the Ughly & Beautiful at Enchantment - was easy enough but getting the little flowers to stay within the gash on my cheek was harder... Throwing on a dress and combing my hair was the easiest part after getting those flowers to stick!
Now though I am ready for SHOPPING!!!!! Watch out for that blur in the stores, as I mentioned yesterday, it might be me!

Friday is here, and that means that tomorrow is the weekend!!! Although I still work on the weekends - there is no rest of the wicked - I still find it the best time to just kick back and relax. I need it bad at the moment, a chance to relax and not think about anything - though I may allow myself a little shopping trip as I need to get presents for my parents for the Dutch holiday of Sinterklaas!
If it's sunny I may even take a walk through the local park with my dog... Never know could stop and have a picnic like Rudh did at It all starts with a smile!
I love this sim, it's a pretty location that changes with the season and for the Autumn season it's divine... I wish colours were this vibrant in RL all the time... It's the perfect place to stop, while wrapped up warm and snug, for a picnic...
Talking of being wrapped up I have to spend a couple of minutes just telling you about my two new and favourite Autumn closet must-haves... The sweater that I am wearing is one of these - it's a Dead Dollz Reagan Sweater in Khaki, although they come in other colours too, and it's SO warm and snug looking, and I LOVE the floppy over the hands sleeves. It looks awesome when paired with my gorgeous new [sYs] scarf that comes in a whole range of different colours and is available at this month's Chapter Four too...
Just one more thing deserving honourable mention... It's not something that I would ever normally even think about wearing but it looked so perfect with this outfit. In RL I am crazy about bags, I have them in all different shapes, sizes, colours and styles - just ask HellBone - but I never normally bother with them too much in SL... Yet these Leaf Bags from PSYCHO.Byts are so cute, how can you not fall in love with them if you have a bag fetish!
I hope that there is some hot soup in that flask I'd really like some hot soup right now!!!

Monday Morning comes again... It's a time of the week that sounds dreadful but isn't actually that bad - least I'm beginning to think that way - Tuesday morning always seems worse somehow?! Yet I am not denying that it is always a struggle to get myself up in the morning on a Monday morning.
There is just one thing that brightens up my Mondays at the moment and that's the fact that it is Walking Dead Night tonight. I am not a fan of the show, but HellBone is, which means that Monday Nights are awesome because I get a full hour of alone in bed time!!
In homage to The Walking Dead - yes I have no idea what I'm really doing here because I have no idea about the show at all, but you know me I enjoy being dead lol...

The outfit was one of the real reasons that I wanted to use this pose - for some reason they just seemed to fit together so well! Every year I get so very excited about one event in particular that gets me oh-so-very excited. Last year I was a little disappointed in the theme - I felt it was a bit lacking and kinda less immersive than it had been in previous years, but this year was GREAT.
I'm not sure how long it runs for but you should still have time, and if you have a spare 50L burning a hole in your pocket I promise you this isn't a waste of money... Go and check out the Pulse Games and Sn@tch event for this year - NOWHERE!
Hinting on a theme that is one of my true phobias I was finding myself genuinely scared - luckily due to the fact that this has always been date night for me and my bestie I had not one but two knights in shining armour to protect me!

Good Morning and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! My favourite day of the year is finally here and I'm very excited, I have some fun things planned in SL - as Dutch people don't really seem to get into the Halloween Spirit - and will no doubt be forced to watch something horrible on TV with HellBone LOL... It may end up being something a little more like this though...
It makes me laugh that on Halloween, I'm actually dressed pretty normally! On the one day of the year when it's encouraged to be dead and bloody looking, I'm dressed in jeans and a sweater LOL, I guess for me the blood and gore is less of a Halloween costume and more of something I really enjoy doing so on the day that it's expected I'm like "Nahhhhh, I'll have a cup of tea and watch a ghost hunting show on TV!"
This post today is kind of a twofer... I'm talking about Halloween and my RL plans, whilst actually being kinda cunning and sharing some awesome goodies from the Geeks'N'Nerds Fair with you! All of the ghost hunting equipment on display here is in fact a part of the Ghost Hunter Equipment Gacha collection at the event, from the brilliant store HopScotch! I got all geeked out as soon as I saw this set, and knew that I'd be doing some ghost hunting - it's kind of a fandom of mine I guess, if it can be counted as something that has a fandom to it?! I watch a lot of the different shows but my favourite has to be the Ghost Asylum with the Tennessee Wraith Chaser boys - maybe it's the cute Southern accents, or the fact that they are attempting to catch the ghosts, but I never miss an episode!

Like every family gathering, there is always a little feeling of pensiveness as you wander up the driveway towards your family home... For Living Dead Rudhie that feeling is always going to be a little more dangerous, I mean her family are some creepy and horrifying monsters! I LOVE Halloween and all it's monstrous beings!
Still Rudhie is on her way home for the holidays, and I wonder what tricks and treats lay in store for her when she steps foot into the family home!
As much as I'd love to be able to call this place home, I really have to admit that I cannot... This is the gorgeous Crowley Hall Mansion on Foggy Hill Island, a place that is well worth a visit if you're looking for something a little creepy to do this Halloween!

Tis going to be a busy day today for me... Two jobs and a Gator meeting on top, but aside from that because let's face it that's pretty much normal for me now, but I'm also going to be getting into a fight for some concert tickets and that always puts me on edge LOL... So I'm going to take a couple of hours befor they go on sale to just sit back, with my feet up and relax at work! At least I'm going to try... I have two hours to wait till the ticket desks open and I feel like I'm going to be sick LOL I am that tense.
Maybe I need something nice to distract me, a break... Oooh an Ice Cream!!!
Never mind the fact that while I'm stopping for Ice Cream I am doing so dressed as a witch, in my awesome new - and dare I say it hunted down - outfit from Petite Mort. The top and skirt - with it's lace shawl - can both be found in the Petite Mort Trick or Treat Hunt, which is taking place in the main store until October 31st. What a great way to get yourself a really cute outfit for Halloween and spend a fun half hour?!
Now where is a fun place to go for ice cream... How about a theme park? Personally I LOVE the theme park that is Everwinter. I know there is a sad story behind it, but seriously it's the best place for a Dead Dolly to enjoy a day at a theme park location...
When I asked for an Ice Cream I was handed this amazing PSYCHO.Byts Monster Ice Cream and then I got even luckier winning this adorable Lost Junction Cuddle Monster on a carnival game - both of these things are available until October 31st at The Candy Fair by the way.
Now after all of that fun I just hope that I can get lucky and "win" these tickets I want... Everyone cross your fingers for me! Please?

Well we finally did it! It's here, it's open to the public and it's better than any we've had in years gone by. The MC worked super hard and pulled out all of the stops this year to create something devious and scary, and so far everyone seems to be loving it... It's a dark haunted place full of the odd scare and even some very special VIP characters that you may well recognise, so if you're looking for something fun to do - although I know there are HEAPS of things to do - maybe you want to check out the Gators MC 4th Annual Halloween Event!
Of course for me Halloween is the best time of the year to play dress up... There are so many new events opening that appeal to my darker Dead Doll side that I cannot help myself but be overly excited! I'm like a kid in a Candy Store or a teenage girl with VIP access to the latest teen idols - squealing with excitment and running around like a headless chicken in case you were wondering! Having the maze for me is a bonus as I have ready made horror sets at my fingertips LOL...
The first of these "sets" is actually the maze entrace... Pet Semetary is our opening location this year and instead of scary animals - with the exception of the odd Gator - you may well find that there are more parties than nasties here this year.
My first dead girl look was something that kinda paired with HellBone chosen outfit... We were the keepers of the Semetary - he a monstrous undertaker, me the dead girl that collected the pets, and I was followed everywhere by a little black cat!
I have to admit that for me and my little Dead Doll look this is fairly simple lol... I fell head over heels in love with the new Besom hair called "New Girl" - which is available now at SALEM, an event that is by far one of my favourite seasonal shopping events this year - and the whole outfit was built around it... It went well withe dress I found - an oldie but still a goodie - from Corvus, coated with blood, lots and lots of blood, and a Noose from Remarkable Oblivion.
Then I took the deadly kitten - from Jian - that is awakend by Pet Semetary for a walk through the graveyard, before heading into the dark...
Dare you "Get Bitten in the Dark!", or are you too chicken?! You never know who you will meet in the Pet Semetary Catacombs!

I didn't sleep very well again last night... I need to stop complaining about the heat but damn it was hot LOL, sorry... It can't be very interesting to hear me complain about that all the time!
So instead I will talk about something much more interesting... I've been talking to a friend about Supernatural... For those of you that don't know it's definitely my favourite show on TV and a friend of mine has been getting into it recently... It got me inspired, along with a recent purchase, to play with my demonic angel side...
I am sure you have seen this dress by now, if you haven't let me just ask "are you living under a rock?" This Blueberry original is so pretty that I simply had to have it. It's a different shape from a lot of the recent Blueberry releases, less form fitting and more loose - which is perfect for this kind of hot weather - the Scarlet Dresses come in multiple colours AND have a hud to change the colours of the wings!
Of course I had to accessorise a little bit, with my favourite Halo from Remarkable Oblivion, but then being an Angel was not enough. When the Angel in me is let out, you know that little demon in me has to be too...

The beginning of a new week, and I am already feeling like I am running in robotic mode... I've been working my butt off in RL and in SL over the past week and it's not going to let up this week either as my RL boss is on vacation... Not complaining, thinking of the money, but seriously I am going to need a break after all this... Some time to do nothing but relax and do fun things...
Things like visit the little mermaid's grotto?!
I couldn't resist, there were just too many things drawing me to this point LOL...
The yardsale at DRD has been my biggest reason for this picture today... Not the Yardsale in the conventional Secondlife sense, the minds behind DRD are updating the store and some of their items that will disappear have been set out for cheap before they disappear... The Andolys items are part of this sale and I snatched all those things up pretty fast. This is the Ariels Cove Set.
This location then sparked the need for something mermaidy to wear... I found the perfect outfit at Fi*Friday. The pants and top are made by epoch, and it was the top's slogan that drew me to needing this outfit... I had to have them! Then I had to smoke some seaweed!
