Being at home is great, it's nice to be able to relax but I have to admit that I'm actually really missing being able to go out. I've even been having dreams about going out to clubs - I NEVER even did that before the quarantine btw - but last night I had such a vivid dream about a club and not being allowed in because I wasn't well endowed enough... It was still buzzing around in my brain when I woke up, and then while playing with my inventory - trying to get set up for the day - I was reminded of that dark dingy club...

WELL, since my boobies won't be getting any bigger, there's one thing for it... So it's been a little quiet around the Gators MC today, which in so many ways is GREAT. I love having the family around but sometimes, it's nice to just have a little time to myself to hide away and do things that make me feel good about myself. It started with some picture taking, then some gentle inventory sorting and finally PJ time and playing games on my phone, which thanks to some rather wandering hands may or may not have become something else LOL...
Get your minds out of the gutter, I was behaving watching cooking videos on Youtube - at least that's the story I'm telling and sticking to!
It was fun to just laze around on my bed, getting hungry watching those mouth watering videos - hehe! That was until I got so into the video, that I almost fell off the bed!

I don't normally discuss much RL world events in my rambling space, mostly because I like to keep things light hearted and happy, but the situation in Australia has had me gripped for weeks now. The fires that keep on burning - although luckily it seems that the rains are starting to fall and life is beginning to spring back into some areas - causing so much destruction is heartbreaking.
I feel for the people that are being caught up in the affected areas, but the heartbreaking feeling is definitely coming more from the chaos, devastation and loss of the wildlife, in a country that was always so protective of it's indigenous species! It's been estimated that a billion animals have lost their lives - although the exact figure is not known - and Koalas have even entered the danger list for animals that may go extinct! I'm devastated!! I've always wanted to see - and hug - a koala... We need to do anything we can to help stop this from happening!
So when I heard that a team of Aussies - lead in part by the amazing Kay Weston of Image Essentials - in SL are putting together a fundraiser, I felt compelled to help spread the word!
Currently designers are being sought that would be willing to join the fundraiser! Designers can participate in a number of ways ranging from donation kiosks in stores to donating items for a raffle and even setting up an event booth with items for sale to raise funds for the cause! All donations made during this event will given to the RSPCA - https://bushfires.rspca.org.au/ - to continue to respond to emergencies and help them assist animals and communities in need.
The events will take place over the Australia Day weekend, when there will be music festivities, shopping and lots of donations - I hope - made to save some animals that are very much in need!!!

I'm reading a book called "Soulmates" at the moment. It's a weird chick-lit, a young couple fall in love, blah blah blah, you know the kind of thing, but there seems to be a side-line story as they are being watched in some secret government headquarters and there are lots of weird natural, almost disastrous events occurring as they get closer. It's actually kinda cute and interesting all rolled into one, I'm wondering what the heck is going to happen lol - it seems like there are hints of a Romeo and Juliet-ish type love story developing?
Maybe that's why I'm so feisty and forcing Rudh to do something a little Post-Apocalyptic. She's bringing the female character to life, a girl trying to get back to her love?!
So Rudh's look was KINDA sorta inspired by this warning of doom, and partly due to the fact that Remnant is now officially open!!
I love this event, even though it doesn't appear to have been publicised properly. It's not available to see in the usual places like Seraphim! Anyway though it's pretty awesome, I bought a feisty looking pair of TABOU Elda pants, that come complete with this ammunitions belt, and a Caution Tape Choker from Vibes - amongst other things...
Then like the bad ass Merc that she is - thanks to a pose and it's prop from Reve Obscura, my new pose crush store - she creeps through the long grass in the now abandoned, post fallout zone that surrounds Tralala's Diner and hunts for the people trying to keep her away from her love...

Sometimes in my daily life, I find myself thinking "why do people act like that?"
It can come from a wide variety of places, not only limited to the Second Life world, but in all walks of life. For me, I've been working in Second Life for a real life School Institute for a while, these new people to Second Life are often requiring me to have the patience of a saint... I have to bend over backwards to help them use the most basic of Second Life tools, and although many of these people are very thankful for my experience, I can guarantee that there will always be a few that make me want to release my inner badside and wreck some havoc.
I cant do that at work, for obvious reasons, but when on Rudh... well that's a totally different story...
The only problem is that when I'm on Rudh, the havoc and chaos tends to be of the kinky variety the vast majority of the time... I'm a little devil ready to cause trouble...
I found the perfect place to do JUST that... If you want to be kinky and sin, and well... Release... You should try CAT KINKY... It's nothing to do with cats, and all to do with Sin!

That's it folks, the Gators MC Halloween Event has officially closed it's doors for another year as of yesterday and MY GOODNESS I am so happy to finally see the doors close. Not that I didn't enjoy it, it was as always great fun to have open and to see the people visiting us really enjoy it, but it will be nice to get back to normal - not to mention have extra prims on the sim to play with hehe...
The little Demoness in me is sad to see it close however, she knows that now I've had a chance to slip back into more normal clothes, the novelty of sharing my dead side has worn off for a little while. Waking up this morning, it's RAINING! Luckily it's not so bad as the recent storm Doris, but it seems that for today at least it might be a bit shit weather wise in the UK, and I'm wondering if it would be a waste of a day to spend all my time reading a book?!
I do love the rain though, I love the way that it sounds and smells, and as long as I'm not going got be caught out in it, then it can rain and rain and rain as far as I'm concerned!!!
Before I came home though, I was not only sent an awesome item from one of the stores that I blog for but also discovered a really cool location... It's just got that perfect feel for the weather in RL today!!
The location is a place called One Caress, and it's so pretty... Kinda melancholy as it's raining so much but definitely pretty and worth it for any one who likes taking pictures to make a visit to!

Strange things have happened, strange feelings have been felt, this weekend was crazy for it and although I'm up and already at work I feel like it was just a case of going through the motions - I'm an outsider looking in, perhaps Rudh has taken control and is watching the RL me stumble around without the grace, elegance and fashion sense that I can only possess in the SL world?
Sorry if I sound weird and kinda depressing, I'm not entirely with it at the moment... Home sick for the UK, a strange feeling of an old ailment coming back and more than a little frustration with my working life aren't a good mix for a happy me.
I'm actually wondering if I could just disappear, find myself in another world - even SL seems like too much for me at the moment - maybe I could star in a movie? A Disney or some other kind of fairytale... OOOOH A TIM BURTON!
Rudhmelloween - the story of one weird little dead doll and her quest to make Halloween last all year! A story in which our little dead doll finds herself lost and without a smile, until she finds herself in a kookie world inhabited by some weird and wonderful creatures that enjoy nothing more than macabre rainbows!
Really sounds like something from a Burton Movie, and I guess that doesn't help my imagination when I was enjoying taking pictures in one of the photo sets at WHOLE WHEAT!
I am going to try to distract myself from my current melancholy mood for a moment to tell you about this amazing outfit that I pulled together and fell in love with. It's nothing new, made up of parts that I recently re-discovered in my hoard and that I'm sure you have seen before, but it's the combination that makes me so happy... Some Asteria "Lisa" Pants with a slit that runs from foot to thigh on each leg, and an underboob "Chambers" top from Razor prove to be the simple outfit components, but then with the addition of these adorable Reign "Coven Myrtle" glasses and this long wig from Wasabi Pills the look seems to come together as if it's made to be worn together. One little addition in the form of a Leather Collar - from Kibitz - embellished with my usual title of Psycho, and I was a happy dead doll... Well as happy as a dead doll could be I suppose!

Every year I get so very excited about one event in particular that gets me oh-so-very excited. Last year I was a little disappointed in the theme - I felt it was a bit lacking and kinda less immersive than it had been in previous years, but this year was GREAT.
I'm not sure how long it runs for but you should still have time, and if you have a spare 50L burning a hole in your pocket I promise you this isn't a waste of money... Go and check out the Pulse Games and Sn@tch event for this year - NOWHERE!
Hinting on a theme that is one of my true phobias I was finding myself genuinely scared - luckily due to the fact that this has always been date night for me and my bestie I had not one but two knights in shining armour to protect me!

I am sure that I am not the only person in the world that will ever say this but you just cannot help but LOVE your free days. Recently I've been working two jobs and so any time that I get to myself is precious time... It's been lovely just doing things around the house, especially now it seems to be a little cooler than it has been over the past few days, yet I cannot stop myself from feeling a need to talk to you.
So what do I like to do in my free time, well a side from blogging and taking the pictures that goes with it, one of my favourite RL past-times is going for walks with my dog Izzy... She's a Saluki - a breed of dog that is a part of the Greyhound family - and she loves nothing more than a good long run. Today I'm thinking of her and our walks, as I write to you...
I've yet to find anyone in SL that makes dogs like Salukis - they are the same shape as a greyhound but have longer fur that is akin to their Setter cousins - HOWEVER, there is one store that makes amazing animals - one which I don't mind admitting I am slightly addicted to - the store in question is Jian.
I've talked to you about Jian before, but as you can see in my picture today, I'm taking my new Jian Lively Lab Puppy for a walk at the gorgeous Saint Pete City Sim. It's such a pretty location, a true feeling of Autumn and the perfect place for me to walk this little lab!
The outfit that she is wearing is not really a true dog walking outfit I suppose, maybe Rudh just got home from a crazy fun night out and needed to take her little friend out for a wee walk?!

Sunday seems like a distant memory now, lost somewhere in the back of my work hazed mind... For some reason the craze of the Mermaid is still sweeping through SL like a case of the Chicken Pocks in kids... It seems that everyone has caught the half-fishy bug and I have to say I am really enjoying playing the mermaid myself too! I've never really been one for wearing the mermaid tail, but I've always had a thing about being a mermaid that can walk on land, and luckily with the pretties that are being released in abundance I've been able to do that a little!!
A part of me hopes that the cult of the Mermaid that is sweeping the SL fashion world, doesn't become like the cult of the Vampire or the Neko, but with events like Enchantment - yes the one based on Fairytales - going down the mermaidy route it is very hard to ignore the call of the sea!
This time though I am NOTHING like the conventional Disney Mermaid Princesses, unless perhaps you mixed them with a rock chick?! I would say I blame parts of the outfit but why should I blame anyone, I LOVE this mermaid on land look!!!
Starting off with the TWO main reasons I pulled this look together, I couldn't resist them at The Enchantment and I still get a kick out of the outfit that I pulled together using them!! The two things I simply had to have at the event were the adorable hair and the amazing tattoo!
The hair comes from SpellBound, and it's accessory options are awesome. You can wear it with or without the strings of pearls and there are two different headdress options - flowers or a coral tiara - plus you can wear it without any of these so it's a fairly versatile wig!
The tattoo is possibly one of the coolest I've seen since the Dolly wounds, and as it comes from the same store, it really doesn't surprise me too much. The store that is antielle has a habit of making things that I NEED, this was no exception! The Inner Mermaid Tattoo with it's ripped skin to reveal the mermaid within effect and the amazingly vibrant colours of the scales beneath is just gorgeous, and although Macabre it really fits with that whole Little Mermaid idea!
Once those things were on, everything else just seemed to come together easily. A cropped Evil Mermaid half-tee from Asteria and a pair of Blueberry Lana shorts, with somet killer high EMPORIUM Sally heels was all the outfit I needed, I accessorised by adding a Candy Crunchers Fish Bone Headband to the already adorned wig, some adorable Stupid Cupid glasses from Cute Poison - that OK didn't really fit the theme but looked really cute with the outfit - and then for that edgy look I added a Zenith Shark Bag!!
Finally it was location time, and I scoured a few sims looking for the perfect Evil Mermaid moment without much success... It was about that time I re-discovered that I'd bought the Trompe Loeil Nerissa Seashell Bath from a past Collabor88 event! BINGO! With the addition of a few {anc} Bubbles, a Bubble Brigade Crab from Half-Deer and a Delightful seahorse fom Fawny, the evil mermaid in me was ready to leave the sea and head to the hearest place to find a fisherman to lure to his demise!!
