While in isolation, Rudh has been taking the time to improve herself, learn a few new skills and dust off some of her old ones... Today it was time to make a little magic, I set myself up a new little cosy, safe space where I wouldn't be disturbed, and then I set to work... It's lucky I was on my own... It wasn't going well...
I whipped the magic up, and got the room looking perfect, then an oopsie happened! The cards that I'd set out for a reading started levitating and swirling around the room, causing chaos before I could even start. It was a little DISORDERLY! That's it folks, the Gators MC Halloween Event has officially closed it's doors for another year as of yesterday and MY GOODNESS I am so happy to finally see the doors close. Not that I didn't enjoy it, it was as always great fun to have open and to see the people visiting us really enjoy it, but it will be nice to get back to normal - not to mention have extra prims on the sim to play with hehe... The little Demoness in me is sad to see it close however, she knows that now I've had a chance to slip back into more normal clothes, the novelty of sharing my dead side has worn off for a little while. Yet she found a place she can be happy, and lay in waiting until she's allowed to play again... The dark pit of Hell at Night Gazing...
Dressed to impress, as she needs to be able to make her new friends in the pit feel a little at east and eager to see her, not to mention that she wants to impress the big man himself, she pulled on a very seductive looking little black dress from Asteria - available until November 19th at KINKY - which allows her to show off her Draconic Scale markings and those impressive looking Spine Demon Thorns - from Nightmare and Goth1c0 - with a collar just in case she can become master's pet! Feeling safe from the demon hunters ridding the earth of the Halloween monsters, she is finally able to relax and listen to the sounds of screams, waiting until she's allowed to break out and run riot once more... This week has been a Damn good week in the life of Rudhmellowen... I've been out in RL and spent a good few hours with some live Apocalyptica, and in SL I've been very creatively playing around with my wardrobe creating all kinds of weird and wonderful Halloweeny things... Today I want to do a bit of a shout out about the Gators MC Halloween Event... Take a trip through the dark and depraved walls of Hell's Asylum to discover some of the nightmares that plague the MC and our members... I'll give you a little hint as to mine, shall I?!
There may be one or two little clownish looking people hidden in my nightmare... It was the perfect excuse to pull on my new - and hard won I should add seeing as it's a Rare - dress, which is available in a gacha along with the gloves and a few other now shown items, in the MoonAmore Gacha at The Epiphany until November 15th. As if the dress clowns weren't enough I had to have more clownishness... Accessories were the best way to do it... Starting up top, I had a wig to match the hair of the dolls on my dress thanks to Truth's Emika style, then rather than the traditional clown style I wore a katat0nik & Clemmm Gas Mask with a clown design... Love that it made me look even more crazy!!! If that wasn't crazy enough, crazy me carved some crazy clownness into my skin - thanks to The White Crow's So Much Fun Gacha Carvings. Then it was off to the circus - or in this case a certain Nightmare at The Gators... A circus full of clowns, balloons and lollipop clowns even - a Rare prize from Lost Junction at Salem until October 30th by the way - I just wonder how long anyone could bare that horribly creepy giggle that permeates through the circus music...

So far this month, I've been a crazy mixture of characters, and I'm loving every second of it... I will admit that the demonic side of me seems to be getting a lot of attention, not that I'm complaining... My creativity is being allowed to soar as I make horror after horror come to life...My pictures seem to be getting better too, and without getting too excited and jinxing myself I'm able to use shadows at the moment too! At the Demon Altar in the BLOODLUST DEMON DUNGEON, a Sororis Obscura spell was cast and the fires of hell came to life, a Profane Invocation - thanks to CURELESS - dragged this seemingly adorable demoness from her Hellish playground. Dark Call Me a Madame, the name of her dress that was found in the Tentacio LootBox Gacha, matches perfectly with her Nightmare Death Watch Make-up and flaming red hair under the Morgana veil - from #Foxy. Only problem is now that this demoness has been woken up in hellfire, what the heck is she going to do? How much havoc is she going to wreck?! Every year around this time, things in Holland start getting a little crazy. People start going firework mental - setting them off left, right and centre, even though it's the middle of the day and you cannot see them anyway... It's about this time of year that my dog changes from a happy and spoilt princess, into what can best be described as someone suffering with Parkinson's Disease. She shakes constantly and won't eat or even go into our back yard to pee, it's horrible to witness! So this yea, as with last year, HellBone and I are packing up and taking the dog and cat to a holiday house in the woods! I'll still be able to write things but won't be in SL so it's going to be my last few hours in world this morning, and as I was packing Rudh up and bundling her into a train so she could head off for her vacation, the strangest thing happened... I think she's on the wrong train?!
Sitting down in the carriage she was joined by some rather interesting characters! Three Children, a Giant and one with an interesting hat made themselves comfortable and started talking about random things - one even brought a rat with him?! The train itself is a DRD Arctic Express Carriage, that is whizzing along down the tracks and generally going a little faster than a Steam Engine should perhaps. These little characters are SO CUTE - and I say that as someone who really isn't interested in Harry Potter - when my RL sister saw them she went nutso... The Harry Potter based Bears are BoOgErS creations, which you can win yourself until December 31st at The Arcade... But I really do think I'm on the wrong train, I shouldn't be going to Hogwarts... I want to check out of my brain, maybe into a pretty hotel perhaps... Somewhere that my head does not need to be attached to my body and that it can be free from the headache that it's forced to endure right now... Normally sitting behind a PC is NEVER a good idea when you have a headache but right now I cannot afford to help it, I have to work in RL and that means I am doing as little as humanly possible and letting my mind wander to talk to you guys! So today I am doing just that, checking out of my brain and into a hotel!
OK so perhaps this is not the least threatening hotel ever considering who the welcome party is, but at Ironwood Hills I don't think you can afford to be picky hehe... This place is an amazing photography location - a photographers dream if you will so I chose to stay at the scary hotel and think about that later! So along with my Snakey friend - Serverus the Snake, a Mascot plushie from Lost Junction by the way - and my Charmed Unicorn Backpack - from [ abrasive ] - I check in, and am ready to explore this amazing sim. I love this outfit too, just so you know... The sweater is an older one from Goth1c0 but when I teamed it with the Rolled Shorts from Blueberry and a pair of the AMAZING Arabella Boots from CandyDoll I couldn't help but love it... All we have to hope now is that my headache goes away and I can think properly again, AND that I make it out of here alive!! It's early on Sunday Morning... For some reason my dog decided that today I HAD to wake up, and instead of wanting to go out all she wanted to do was take over my warm spot right in the middle of the bed... HellBone is due home after being away for a couple of days, so I should do things like make sure things are ready for dinner, do the laundry and the dishes, be the good wife lol... But that ain't gonna happen... I cannot function yet, I NEED COFFEE!!! I'm already on my third cup, and so reading blogs and writing one even isn't too much of a hard thing to do, but there is no way that I can function on anything that involves effort LOL... Usually I am one of those get up in the morning and go go go people but Sundays... NUH UH!!! So today you lucky, lucky people get to have coffee with me!!
Feel a bit like a strange talk show host sitting here like that, but I'm sorry a girl needs her caffeine and this was SUCH a comfy chair, although it doesn't look it!! LOL... The chair is a release from Consignment for 6th Republic, and is available in a selection of different designs. Each of these is stuffed FULL of awesomeness that are the poses used by Wavie Haller in each of his designs, plus that wire frame design would be great in a million different style settings, be they man cave, ladies living room or even somewhere as messy as the Gators MC Clubhouse LOL... On a side note, Tres Blah makes some damned good coffee... Anyway, now that I am still writing this - after an hour or so - you can tell I'm half asleep, it's taken me a lot longer than normal LOL... Moving on to clothes... A Simple but sexy pair of Moto Jeggings from Fishy Strawberry - that give you an ass which I will tell you now can get the boys drooling LOL least it did in my case more than once lol - and a comfy but older Goth1c0 shirt which I picked up at an event forever ago and I am ready to just sit back, talk to you my dear readers and hopefully start the day without too much drama lol... OK so quiet time around the Gators isn't really the right term here... More like it was a giggle fest, shared with only poor Gary as a little testosterone - though he was too chicken to jump into the photo with all of us - it was nice to be able to have just a few of my sisters to share in this moment with, AND use as props in the photos I wanted to take featuring some of the brand new releases from Consignment and Floorplan! It's hard for me taking pictures of furniture, I don't feel that it is one of my strengths... Some people take AMAZING furniture only photos but I have never been able to do that! So when these gorgeous girls were standing around doing nothing I thought to myself "AH HA" lol... That's love isn't it, using them for my own needs LOL...
I was channelling another sister Solde this week, she's always seen with trademark white hair, but it looked so cute with my outfit that I hope she won't kill me for copying her style. The reason for this outfit came about due to the awesome shirt that I bought on Sunday. It was Lazy Sunday, I was being very lazy and I spotted these cute Lolita Dresses that were the release from Razor and I HAD to have them. Yes the HUD has the design in different colours, but I LOVED this combination and so pink and green it was LOL... I will admit that I tried it on without a skirt underneath, normally I would have gone without one, but for some reason I was feeling a little self concious, so I admit I made this dress just a little longer by adding a plain black teeny skirt underneath! Lastly, and as always, Accessories!!! The Necklace and Bracelet are a release from Goth1c0 for this months line up of The Witching Hour, which closes today! Time for something a little different hehe... I've been doing a lot of pretty and fantasy based photos lately, well this still could be fantasy, but of a very different kind hehe... I'd bought something that just seemed like the kind of thing that would fit with my old RL school uniform... Being a Brit, we had to wear one and it was icky! Blazers, shirts and ties ALL YEAR! UGH! When I saw the sweater I'm wearing here, along with it's prominent white collar, I couldn't help but feel a need to wear it as an old school uniform lol... Just sorry if you aren't into this kind of fantasy role play, and you can thank me later if you are LOL...
The sweater that caused all of the ruckus in my mind, and somehow made me end up in an RP sex school, is something that I had had stashed away for a rainy day since November... Sad November to be exact! I bought this Goth1c0 Skeleton Sweater on impulse whilst shopping there with my sometime shopping buddy Jimmy. He warned me that I would only use it the once, I aim to prove him wrong... It will be cute in the cold weather! The rest of the outfit was just to make up the outfit, from old but much loved things in my hoard... Some adorable pigtails with a Devil headband from Ploom, some dirty glasses from ellemeno - since I was in a sex school LOL - and a cute plaid skirt from Sn@tch, and I had a complete - but dirty - school uniform!! By the way, for the record, the ONLY thing I wore to school that was anything close to this look, is the black sweater LOL, the rest is all my dirty and depraved Barbie self lol... You might have noticed by now that I am a little into the macabre, gory, evil side of style in SL... In RL I a very much a jeans and t-shirts kinda girl that always wears her chunky boots and never bothers with make-up, but in SL that style is left at the log in screen and here I become a girlie, grungy living dead dolly... Today I was feeling inspired! I was out shopping, exploring the awesome Bloody Horror Fair, and I stumbled upon a helmet that made a song pop so far into my head it's been stuck there ever since! Luckily it was one of my favourite songs at the moment!!! Now I'm going to share it with you LOL...
The Hellraiser Helmet, from Goth1c0 and found exclusively at Bloody Horror Fair, was the inspiration for this look, and it was all based on a look by In This Moment's singer - Maria Brink. Their video for the song "Whore" sees her wearing a horned helmet similar to this one, and biting her fingers drawing blood! I couldn't resist paying homage to that in my own Rudhish way! I went down a similar gory, whoreish route to Rudhify but replicate her style by accessorising... Leaving my favourite new collar on from ginchi, I added the brand new "Gore Whore" Necklace from Cute Poison - which like the helmet can also be found at Bloody Horror Fair! The scribblings all over my chest are something that I had noticed a while back on the marketplace and they had never really fit any of the looks that I had been going for... The Truth Tattoo, from Corvus, is a series of words scribbled across your chest ranging from Selfish to Empty and hitting a few other harsh truths in between... I hope that no one would ever agree that I am any of those things, but I guess the person that is could be a true Hellraiser?! Just one more thing before I finish up here... Seeing as my look is loosely based on the look of Maria Brink, in a particular music video, I guess I should share it so you can see what I am talking about LOL...
